Indus Valley Bio Organic Sandalwood Face Pack : Review

Indus Valley offers nice range of organic & herbals products. I have already used Bio Organic Hibiscus & Skin Care Oil from Indus Valley and have been very impressed. Today I am going to share my views on Indus Valley Bio Organic Sandalwood Face Pack, which is 100% pure & organic. I would say it is one of the best organic sandalwood face pack, I have ever used. I received Sandalwood Face Pack from Indus valley among with 4 other products in a blogger’s meet.  Ain’t we sucker for organic skin care. I have oily & acne prone skin and summer is not a great season for my skin. Sandalwood powder is like a boon for my skin during the hot & humid season. This is the right season that I test this face pack.

Packaging

The packaging of Indus Valley Sandalwood Powder is very basic. I literally wish the company improves it. The comes packed inside a light mustard-white themed card box which illustrates the befits, & features of the product. Inside you find a sachet of the finely grounded sandalwood powder. The sachet must be cut from the top to retrieve the powder with no way to seal it back. A zip lock pouch could have been more convenient & secure packaging. I transfer the amount to an air tight container so that it stays effective for a long time.

How To Use?

It’s Sandalwood face pack. Already mixed with a lot of other natural ingredients to give a healthy complexion. You just need to mix it with rose water or water and apply a thin layer to get a brighter, clearer & healthy skin. This is a sure shot face pack to fade acne marks and pigmentation.

Fragrance & Texture

Sandalwood is famous for it’s aroma. Hence you will find the same fragrance in the face pack too. Texture wise, it is finely grounded powder. One tablespoon powder covers my face & neck but it needs a lot of rosewater to convert it into a nice paste.

Indus Valley Bio Organic Sandalwood Face Pack – My Views

Summer really boils down my skin. To keep it calm & cool, I like to use some natural clay based face masks. Hibiscus powder, cools my skin very well, but as a face pack I like to use Sandalwood Face Pack from Indus Valley since it contains more than one natural ingredients. It makes just the right face mask for oily skin. I like to include Aroma Magic Glossy face pack for my dark circles & pigmented neck, following the multimasking trend.

Mixing it with chilled rose water gives an underrated pleasure to my warm skin. I apply this pack in a thin layer on alternate days. The aroma calms down my sense, gives me a cozy feeling. Within just 7-10 minutes it dries off, & I take it off while rubbing it in circular motion resulting in a mild exfoliating action.

The first thing I notice after taking off this pack is the hotness of my skin is all gone. My skin feels calmer & clearer. There is bit of brightening effect but nothing extra ordinary even though I have been using it so regularly. I have been also anticipating that using this pack regularly will ease off my acne marks.
