Vanya GULAABSILK Rose Jasmine Body Lotion Review

So today seemed like the first cold day of the season. There is no sunshine, and the cold air is sending shivers across my body. Here goes another cup of tea down my throat and I decide to write my review of Vanya GULAABSILK Rose & Jasmine Body Lotion. I received few products from Vanya Herbals, a brand I have seen to be used in skin clinics most of the times. The brand has launched a direct consumer line. I have been using this body lotion from the last week and I am ready to present my views on it.

The goodness of Himalayan Rose Water, Aloe Vera Extracts, Shea Butter, the fragrant essential oils of Rose & Jasmine, when combined together, you get a silk like skin that smells of roses and jasmine. Vanya GULAABSILK body lotion gives you a luxurious experience with it’s all natural and highly potent ingredients. The lotion contains plant derived hydrating ingredients that are delicate on skin and form a non sticky formula. This light weight body lotion keeps skin youthful and fragrant all day long.

Packaging

The packaging of a product kind of adds to the product’s features. It should be practical, convenient and attractive at the same time. Vanya  body lotion comes in a 100 ml luxe-feel packaging. The outer box is of white colored with some beautiful patterns. The outer box contains all the relevant information about the body lotion like the ingredients, direction to use the product along with manufacturing details.

Inside you find a dark colored plastic bottle with an aluminium cap on it’s mouth. The packaging definitely speaks of class and luxury, but I found it’s not much convenient to take out the lotion out of the bottle as you go. Most of the body lotions come with a pump packaging, which makes it easier to dispense the product out of the bottle. But since the brand wanted to keep the luxe appeal to the product looks, may be that’s why they did not go for a pump packaging.

 

Fragrance & Texture of Vanya GULAABSILK Rose Jasmine Body Lotion

I fell in love with the body lotion as I opened the bottle and first inhaled the smell of the product. The scent of the body lotion is nothing less than a perfume, or should I say an ‘Itra’. It smells heavenly of Roses and Jasmine. The top notes are definitely Roses, and then there is a hint of Jasmine as the top notes fade away. Roses and Jasmine are quite strong fragrances, but this body lotion has got them in quite an equilibrium that they seem to compliment each other. In no way, the fragrance is overpowering. The fragrance lingers on my skin for hours, which is another good thing.

Texture wise, it’s not a runny lotion(that is why it’s bit difficult to take out of the bottle), but it’s quite easy to spread, and work with. White in color, the lotion has a whipped cream consistency. I take it in my palm and apply it on my dry skin and, instantly, it sinks into my skin, leaving behind no stickiness or oiliness but only sweet majestic fragrance and soft skin. Right now, I have applied Vanya GULAABSILK Rose & Jasmine body lotion as a hand cream and it is not staining my laptop key board which is great.

How effective Vanya GULAABSILK Rose & Jasmine Body Lotion is?

The very basic job of a body lotion is to nourish skin without making it feel greasy or without hurting the pH balance of skin. This body lotion contains 100% natural ingredients such as Shea Butter, Aloe Vera Extracts, plant based hydrating ingredients and many more. It is safe for skin. My skin is very sensitive and it has never developed any kind of allergic reaction since I have started using the body lotion.

Coming to the hydration part, it is quite moisturizing. It does not feel greasy, but it hydrates like a dream.

Don’t we all a body lotion which we could just swipe on our skin and it magically takes away all the dryness, roughness and leave behind only soft, silky and scented skin. I have found that magic in Vanya GULAABSILK Rose & Jasmine Body Lotion.

I use it twice a day mostly. Once after the morning shower, once in the evening, because I love the fragrance. I kind of start missing it by the evening.

What I liked About Vanya GULAABSILK Rose Jasmine Body Lotion?

• Skin stays soft, moisturized and fragrant-ed for hours.
• Handcrafted with the finest of herbs.
• Suitable for all skin types

Dislikes

• I understand the luxurious feel does not come with a pump packaging, but I feel that would have been more practical.
• Also, the price is justified with the amazing texture and fragrance, but 100 ml is too less for 500 bucks.

Vanya GULAABSILK Rose & Jasmine Body Lotion, is my current favorite body lotion as it is lightweight, yet hydrating. Keeps skin soft and moisturized for hours. It doubles up as a body mist since the fragrance lingers on my skin for hours. The product not only looks luxe but it gives a luxurious feel.

I feel it’s not always, that we come across something so nice and authentic. If all the product from Vanya are such performers, it’s an affordable luxury.
