Aloe Vera is a magic plant. It can heal almost every ailment. Aloe Vera is high in water content hence is used in most of the moisturizing lotions. Aloe Vera based products suit every skin type. Jovees Aloe Vera Moisturising Lotion is such a lotion that contains Aloe Vera as well as Apple, Peach & Sandal extracts. This is a very light moisturizer mainly targeting oily & sensitive skin. I have the same skin type hence it was an impulsive grab last month. Stay with me to get to know this product in detail. About Jovees Aloe Vera Moisturizing Lotion Jovees says that Oily skin needs extra care in terms of cleansing but it also needs special hydration. This moisturizing lotion by Jovees is specially formulated using essential herbal & botanical extracts to help to maintain the essential levels of moisture in oily & sensitive skin. Well-hydrated skin is always glowing & supple. This lotion helps the skin to balance it’s moisture levels by locking the skin’s own moisture level inside. Price Rs. 210 for 100ml. Buy here. Ingredients Only some active ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Apple, Peach & Sandal Extracts are mentioned. Other ingredients are missing from the packaging. Packaging The moisturizing lotion comes in an opaque white bottle with a pump fitted at the top. The packaging is convenient and leak-proof since there is a transparent plastic cap covering the pump. On the bottle, Aloe Vera slices are shown and it is mentioned that the product is especially for Oily & Sensitive Skin. Other information about the product such as the product specification, price, ingredients, etc. are is also mentioned at the back. Colour, Texture & Smell This is a very lightweight moisturizer having runny consistency. The lotion is white in color. It absorbs really fast without leaving any oily feeling behind. The lotion has a faint smell of Aloe Vera which does not last for long after application on the skin. My Experience I have been using it from last month and I think it is a decent moisturizing lotion for oily & sensitive skin. I have the same skin type plus it is acne-prone. I can easily get blocked pores in case I use a heavy cream/lotion. But this lotion is very lightweight & water-based. It has just the same consistency as that of the Clean & Clear Oil-Free Moisturizer if you have used the later. Since I have oily skin, I do not need heavy moisture when the winter is saying goodbye. My T-Zone has already started getting oily. The sticky feeling is very undesired & I detest it totally. But this lotion from Jovees gives only the required amount of hydration to my skin. I do not feel like I have applied anything on my skin once the lotion has been fully absorbed. My face feels & looks calm & hydrated. My skin feels little oily after 3-4 hours, but that’s normal for my skin type. Other than this I have not found anything amazing happening on account of this lotion. Likes Very lightweight water-based texture. It contains Aloe Vera, Apple, Peach & Sandal extracts. Suits Oily & Sensitive skin. It does not break out or clogs pores. Smells nice. Affordable. Lasts long. Convenient packaging. Dislikes The complete ingredient list is missing. Summary: 4/5 This is a decent moisturizing which gives the desired amount of hydration to oily skin & combination skin. The water-based texture makes it very desirable. This lotion is affordable & economical. Dry skin beauties need to look elsewhere until they want to use it only in humid conditions. Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer Combination Skin is a light weight moisturizer that is specially formulated for combination-oily skins while giving required amount of moisture to skin without making it oily or greasy. It takes care of all dry spots without clogging pores. The price is little on higher side but totally worth it. A must have for combination skin.

Miss Claire Mini Haul : A Glimpse

Hi Girls, At a local store yesterday, I wanted to grab a bottle of Maybelline Fit Me foundation but the SA lured me into buying some Miss Claire products. Miss Claire is quite a popular brand among bloggers since it brings out dupe for NYX products mostly. I have used some lip creams before, from Miss Claire, today got few more. The lip creams from Miss Claire are no doubt one of the best product from the brand. I was so amazed to see the wide range of the shades at the local store. Plus they are so affordable, I felt like grabbing whatever I my small eyes could see. I got 5 shades from Miss Claire Lip Cream Range – 02,13, 28, 39 & 41. Sadly the store did not have any testers, so I just picked up judging the packaging. I also got Miss Claire Born To Glow Illuminator, which comes in almost exact packaging as NYX Illuminator. I was also shocked to see that it was titled as ‘Born To Glow’ same as the NYX Born To Glow Illuminator. The illuminator also comes in many shades as the NYX illuminator. Miss Claire seems to be following NYX very closely, I guess. There were too many blushes, eye shadows, and what not at the store. I also got blue shimmer dust since blue glitter was not available. Only I know, how I pushed myself away from the blushes. I might be visiting that local store again soon. This Miss Claire Lip Balm is favourite of my sister. She was constantly looking for it around her place but was not available. Glad I found it. Though she uses the strawberry flavour, but efficacy would be the same, I am sure. I also got Lotus Ecostay Primer & Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 128. Will let you know how the primer fared on my skin since I will be using it for the very first time. Coming to skin care items, I got Himalaya Natural Glow Fairness Cream which is doing very well on my skin after horrible breakout from The Face Shop White Seed Moisture Cream. For the very first time I got Neutrogena Oil free moisturiser, which is a popular moisturiser among bloggers who have combination to oily skin tone. I have very thin eye brows, so I mostly use an eyebrow pencil to thicken them up. Cameleon eye brow pencil in brown, has a lash brush attached at the end, so eye brow can be groomed with just single product. It was under 100 bucks. Colorbar has same kind of product which is waterproof, but that costs about 650 bucks. Will try to put some swatches of the lip creams pretty soon. Hope you will like the shades I got.
