Time flies. It feels like yesterday only I was reviewing the Fab Bag September 2019 and October is here. So here I am with Fab Bag October 2019 review. October is very special. Not only because it marks the start of the fall season, it is also full of festivities. So gear up ladies, as Fab Bag promised this edition to be a Festive Fusion. Let’s see how far it holds true. Fab Bag October 2019 – The Festive Fusion For those who are new, Fab Bag is a monthly subscription bag. It comprises of a beautiful pouch, 4-5 makeup, skincare and hair care products. Most of the time they let you choose one makeup product. You can take a one-month’s subscription or subscribe for 3,6 and 12 months in one go for interrupted supply of fab bag. This month, the thee of the bag is festive fusion. Which I think they meant to give you a bag full of beauty supplies to get you ready for the festive season. Let us decide if they succeeded to deliver it. The Bag The bag is beautiful. It’s a golden colored patterned pouch that can hold a lot of stuff. It can be used as a party bag if you wish to. The quality is good. What I got Inside My Fab Bag October 2019 SUGAR Base Of Glory Pore Minimizing Primer (Full Size Rs. 799/-) INARA Cosmo Beauty Nail Lacquer (Full Size: 450/-) The Nature’s Co Lemongrass Foot Spray (Rs. 285/- for 50 ml) Urvija Lavender & Mint Facial Spray (Rs. 120 for 50 ml) Swiss Tempelle Total Clean Face Wash, Scrub & Mask (Rs. 110/-) I received 2 makeup products, and 3 skincare products, out of which 2 are sprays. Fab Bag From Recent Months: Fab Bag November 2019 Fab Bag September 2019 SUGAR Base Of Glory Pore Minimizing Primer It’s the second time, that I am receiving this primer via Fab Bag. I have seen some you tubers received The Balm highlighter in place of this pore minimizer, so I am really disappointed. I hate to receive the same product in my bag, especially when others are receiving a very popular product. SUGAR Base Of Glory Pore Minimizing Primer is an okay product. It does help in making the pores a bit unnoticeable. It helps your foundation to go more easily on your skin. But it can not control oil. It actually makes my skin feel greasy. So I hardly use this primer. INARA Cosmo Beauty Nail Lacquer This is another repetition in my bag. I received the same nail paint (even the same shade) a few months back and I received it again. I received INARA Cosmo Beauty Nail Lacquer in red shade. The color is at for the festive season. The nail lacquer is free of 15 harmful chemicals and maybe that’s why it’s priced at Rs. 450. The Nature’s Co Lemongrass Foot Spray I am not a fan of the Nature’s Co. Somehow the products never agreed with me. Either the smell or the consistency was too aggressive for me. In Fab Bag October 2019, I received The Nature’s Co Lemongrass Foot Spray which also contains Tea Tree Oil & Patchouli. The spray gives a cooling sensation that stays for a few seconds and then evaporates. But I like that the feet smell fresh. This spray is good for the people who generally wear closed shoes for long hours. It is advised to use this spray before you wear your shoes and later before you retire to bed. Swiss Tempelle Total Clean Face Wash, Scrub & Mask I received the Swiss Tempelle for the first time. I have never even heard about the brand. The product is a 3 in 1 product. It’s a face wash, scrub, and mask. I remember using Garnier Total Clean up and it reminds me of the same. I feel the texture and the result is better than Garnier’s total clean up. Post clean up it leaves skin nongreasy and matte, which I like. The granules are not harsh and are of even size. The product is used as it also does not contain parabens. Fab Bag October 2019, is a let down for me. I don’t think the products match the theme. There should have been some more makeup products, to achieve festive looks. In the name of skin care, mists are not justified. Glad the pouch is usable though. Fab Bag did it again. Last month’s products were so good that they played low this month. It’s a pattern. I just received Fab Bag September 2019. It’s the 7th anniversary of Fab Bag. This month’s bag is supposed to be fulled with lots of charm and beauty. The bag is themed – Made in Seven. As I un-boxed my bag I was super thrilled to see SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Minis Set, an eye shadow singlet, a de-tangling hair spray from Nirvana, the latest Garnier Sheet mask, and a face wash from W2. I think, this time, Fab Bag team has done a fabulous job in putting together a really special bag for us. Fab Bag September 2019 – Made In Seven The theme of the 7th anniversary Fab Bag is Made in Seven. It’s colorful and exciting as an anniversary theme should be. The minis from SUGAR are definitely the star of the bag, but I also look forward to try out some new brands and products with this bag. The bag itself is very stunning. I received a two toned zipper bag. The grey and black glittery bag, doubles up as a party clutch too. What I Got #InMyFabBag There are total of 5 items in the bag. The first two items are makeup, one is hair product, while the rest two are skin care products. SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Minis Set 3 – Pretty Pinks & Rusty Reds (Full SIze: Rs. 999) TS Cosmetics Pressed Glitter (Full Size : Rs. 300) Nirvana 100% Pure & Natural Hair Spray (Full SIze Rs. 299) Garnier Skin Naturals Mask (Full SIze : 99/-) W2 Face Wash (Full SIze: Rs. 225/-) SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Minis Set 3 Whenever I receive a SUGAR product in y Fab Bag, the cost of the bag is paid of with that product alone. This time, I received a set of 4 mini SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipsticks, which is like an amazing deal. The mini lipsticks are quite mini, but I love to collect travel size lipsticks and it’s definitely a beautiful addition to my travel bag. I received SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick in 01 Brazin Raisin, 07 Rethink Pink, 08 Wine And Shine, 42 Toast Roast. 01 Brazin Raisin is a Burgundy shade. Very beautiful and vibrant. Will suit all skin types. 07 Rethink Pink, it’s another vibrant pink shade with warm undertones. Suitable for all skin types. 08 Wine And Shine is a wine shade – a cool toned pink with purple. 42 Toast Roast – This is a Redish Brown shade. It’s wearable, just I am not fan of such shades. There are 2 pinks and 2 Rusty shades in the Mini Set 3. Hope this helps you choose the product. Looking For These? SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Mia Sangria 22 SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Tan Fan 03 SUGAR Suede Secret Matte Lipcolor- 15 Fleece Fuchsia TS Cosmetics Pressed Glitter Girls loves Glitter, I know you do. So do I . Pressed Glitter Eye Shadow is always welcomed. TS Cosmetics Pressed Glitter Bomb – Cappuccino is a beautiful brown shade with lots of copper glitter. The shade is very apt for party looks. Since the shadow is pressed, it does not fall out during or post application. Nirvana 100% Pure & Natural Hair Spray Detangling dry is quite difficult while damp hair could be detangled very easily. Nirvana hair spray presents a hair mist which contains distilled water, Aloe Vera Gel, lavender and rosemary essential oils. This is claimed to be 100% natural. I tried it this morning and it has very mild and pleasant fragrance. But the fragrance does not last on hair. Texture wise it’s just like water. Garnier Skin Naturals Mask – Green Tea And Hyaluronic Acid Garnier sheet masks have been around from few months and I have not tried them yet. I will be using this mask pretty soon since it’s meant for oily and combination skin. It contains Green Tea and Hyaluronic Acid. The sheet mask is said to contain 1 week worth of serum to moisturize skin. I am not sure if my skin would be able to handle it. Let’s see how it fares on me. W2 Neem And Turmeric Face Wash The face wash smells heavily of Turmeric, not very pleasant. It is gel based face wash. It is supposed to get rid of pigmentation and acne. This is the first time I will be using a turmeric based face wash. Turmeric is high in anti bacterial properties and it is used internally and externally to treat skin issues. It could be a good face wash for oily and combination skin. The worth of Fab Bag September 2019, comes out to be around Rs. 1922. It is quite impressive given the products are also chosen very carefully. I think all the products are good and usable. The anniversary bag is composed very thoughtfully by the Fab Bag Team. Kudos. Hola Girls. I am back from the most wonderful vacation of my life. I am still dreamy and drowsy from a flight full of turbulence. But I feel wonderful. As I reached home, Fab Bag June 2019, The Checklist was waiting for me to be un-boxed and reviewed. So let’s do it. Fab Bag June 2019 – The Checklist Every single month, Fag Bag ships out beautiful bags with makeup, skin care and some times lifestyle products, so that you can try out the new brands and latest launches. The fab bag crew packs the contents of the bag based on a theme. This month, the theme is Checklist. I think, the team is referring to the checklist for the summer vacation. The bag is packed with summer essentials to enjoy a nice day out. Contents I got 5 products in a very beautiful tan bag. There are two makeup products, and three skin care products. All of these are new launches by several brands. It’s a high quality, tan/almond colored, leather pouch with beautiful self cut design. The design makes it very apt to be carried around during casual outings. It is big enough to carry your cell phone, some cash, cards and a lipsticks 🙂 Latest : Glamego July 2019 Review – 10 Brands in 1 Box DISGUISE Feather-Light Liquid Lip Cream – Relaxed Mocha DISGUISE is a new brand to me. I have received few lipsticks in the past via fab bag only. But haven’t tried even those. DISGUISE Feather-Light Liquid Lip Cream is a new launch from the brand. I found the packaging of the lipstick is bit weird. It looks like a color tube. On the other hand, I loved the formula inside. It’s way too light weight for a lip cream. It does not feel tacky on my lips even after it’s set. I chose Relaxed Mocha for myself. This shade is bit of brown, which I never wear, I after returning from my beach trip, Relaxed Mocha, looks very flattering on my skin tone. I would love to explore more shades from the range. Eyezamate Matte Look 100% Waterproof Non Transfer Soft Kohl Kajal Matt Look is another brand that was introduced by Fab Bag March 2019. I have got an eye liner, few lipsticks and a mascara from the brand. I forgot to use them, so have no idea how the brand performs overall. Eyezamate Matte Look 100% Waterproof Non Transfer Soft Kohl Kajal is an auto eyeliner pencil. It could double up as a kajal. I got jet black version of the kajal. But, I don’t prefer auto liner pencils since they go bland after 2-3 uses. You can’t even sharp them. So it’s impossible to achieve sharp/thin lines with an auto liner pencil after you have used up it’s sharp tip. Matt Look Eyezmate kajal, claims to be 100% water resistant and non transferable, which I found to be true to some extent. It does not smudge on it’s own, which is a good thing. It comes in a black retractable pencil with a long golden colored cap. It’s quite sleek. Will try it soon. Bellapierre Cosmetics Milk Cleansing Face Wash I have used a mineral powder from Bellapierre few years back and it was beautiful. Had no idea, the brand also has a skin care line. This face wash contains milk enzymes which cleanse skin deeply. The face wash is gel based, lathers well, and is non drying. It has a very refreshing and mild fragrance. Skin feels soft and fresh. Tuzba Naturals Eyes Tea Under Eye Roll On Tuzba Naturals, is totally a new brand to me. I received an eye roll on from the brand. It contains very fancy ingredients. I applied the roll on lightly on my under eyes, it gave a cooling sensation. But the flames from the essential oils, got into my eyes. I could not open my eyes for good 10 minutes after which even the cooling sensation vanished. I am not feeling very good about this product. This product is my least favorite from the bag. Organic Harvest All Skin Types Sunscreen – SPF 60 Organic Harvest recently launched a number of sunscreens suitable for different skin types and with different SPF levels. I received an all skin type sunscreen with SPF 60. The product protects against the sun as well as the blue lights that we find indoor. It gives dual protection. The sunscreen is lightweight and quick absorbing. It sets into matte finish. I tried out another version of sunscreen from Organic Harvest on my beach trip and it saved my skin from the harsh sun there. Fab Bag June 2019, the Checklist, is a beautiful and useful edition by Fab Bag team. All the products are quite usable and fits into my requirement to cope up the heat wave. The total cost of the bag comes out to be 2100 bucks which is very impressive. The DISGUISE lips cream alone served the cost of the bag. I am very happy with the June 2019 edition of the Fab Bag. Hello There, I received, Fab Bag May 2019, Keep It Chic, yesterday. So it’s going to be the un-boxing and review post for Fab Bag May 2019. Love it or hate it, but you can’t ignore Fab Bag, I have seen the best of this subscription box and criticized the worst times. But I still subscribe to it, because I feel a connection. This box started when I started with my journey into a dreamland of makeup and beauty. The very idea of trying out new things back then (a decade ago), sounded really exciting. I was among the early birds to take up the service. Fab Bag really set standards with its launch and now it’s a veteran in the subscription sector. I have discovered a few really amazing products via Fab Bag that are regular in my vanity. And I hope to explore more with Fab Bag. Let’s talk about the May 2019 Fab Bag, what is it offering. Must Read : Why I am happy receiving Fab Bag June 2019? Fab Bag May 2019 – Keep It Chic Fab Bag always comes with a theme. May 2019 box comes with a chic theme. So all the products should make you feel chic. Maybe this is overrated. You decide by the end of the review. I got 4 products in the box along with a bonus product. The Bag This time, it’s quite a small shiny tan pouch they are shipping. Quality-wise, it’s alright, and it can still hold nice stuff. It comes with a loop attached to it so that you can carry it easily. To give you an idea of its size, it can carry your mobile as well as some money easily. The Contents Of Fab Bag May 2019 La Mior Illuminating Blush – Mama Mia (Full Size : Rs. 799-/) Acnes Skin Soothing Gel (Full Size Rs.125/-) The Herbal Blend Lip Scrub (Full Size Rs. 285/-) The Soap Company India Intense Body Wash (Full Size: Rs. 200/-) Colombian Brew Instant Coffee (4 Sachet , Rs. 8/-) Bonus Product – Mond’sub Collagen Forehead Mask (Full Size – Rs. 200/-) There are 5 full-sized products and 4 samples of coffee which I am dying to try out. Here is what I think about the products. La Mior Illuminating Blush – Mama Mia La Mioris a new brand to me among the others. Fab Bag asked to choose the shade for the blush, there is Mama Mia which is pinkish and another one is coral. I chose Mamma Mia, because somehow subtle pinks work for me as my blush as I have noticed instead of wearing a coral one (Not that I wear blush, In case I decide to wear it someday) La Mior Illuminating Blush is talc-free, weightless formula and gives illuminating finish. The subtle color looks very natural as you could see in the swatch. I think I chose a nice shade. The blush is also free of parabens, mineral oil, gluten, and synthetic fragrance. I totally love this as I have quite sensitive skin. The first product paid of the price of Fab Bag full-fledged. I am not missing SUGAR product in this subscription. Maybe I need to get over my obsession for SUGAR products. Acnes Skin Soothing Gel Acnes products are specially formulated for acne-prone skin. Acnes Soothing Gel contains Aloe Vera and Neem which makes it quite a promising product for acne-prone skin. I liked how lightweight the product is. It sinks into the skin very instantly. No stickiness or dryness noticed. The Herbal Blend Lip Scrub A lip scrub comes very handy in case you have chapped or dry lips. Use a lip scrub to buff away the dead skin cells and then apply a lip balm to heal the dryness. The herbals Blend Lip Balm has a nice scrubby texture. Its main ingredients are castor sugar, coconut oil, mango butter, cocoa butter, and Vitamin E. It definitely looks good to be used on daily basis. Also Read: Neemli Green Tea Lip Scrub The Soap Company India Intense Body Wash Using a body wash to shower definitely adds to the showering experience. I prefer using body wash during the summer. The Soap Company India Intense Body Wash looks minty in the bottle but has a clear and runny texture. It lathers well and smells very very nice. Can’t wait to use it. Few of my favorite body washes : The Nature’s Co Mango Creme Body Wash Palmolive Body Wash : Thermal Spa & Heavenly Vanilla Dove Go Fresh Nourishing Body Wash – Fresh Touch Colombian Brew Instant Coffee Honestly not a coffee lover, but I would love to try out these instant brew samples. They can fix some quick mugs on a lazy afternoon. I got 2 samples in Vanilla flavor while 2 in Double Chocolate Mocha. I might drink it tomorrow. Mond’sub Collagen Forehead Mask I detest Mond’sub masks. They don’t suit me. I have plenty of forehead mask, eye mask, gold mask, collagen mask, 3D mask, pearl masks from Mond’sub lying in my vanity unused. All of them came in different subscription boxes. I should held a giveaway I guess. What do you say? This came as my bonus product. Fab Bag May 2019, Keep It Chic, comes with 4 full sized products and few sample of instant coffee. The blush from La Mior Illuminating Blush is the star of the bag. I also like the body wash and the face gel. The products are usable. The bag is nothing fancy but cute. You can go for this month’s fab bag, in case you are thinking too. The worth of the products shipped is around 1400 excluding the bonus product. Hola Girls, I am back with Fab Bag April 2019 Unboxing and Review. Spring is here and the team at fab bag also sent a Spring themed bag and products (yet to relate). The bag is very pretty and has a flowery design. I received five products along with the bag including makeup, skincare and hair care. I am glad this time they managed to ship a SUGAR makeup product. In March Fab Bag, there was no SUGAR product and I was disappointed. After all one of the greatest reasons to subscribe to Fab Bag is SUGAR (at least for me). Fab Bag April 2019 – The Spring April receives a full-on Spring but in Delhi, we are experiencing Summer full throttle. Wonder how hot the rest of the months are going to be. It’s nice to have floral and spring-themed pretty things around. With Fab Bag April 2019, you receive products form SUGAR, Organic Harvest, Kronokare & INARA. A bonus product is also added by the team, which turned out to be HipHop Nail Polish Remover (A pack of 2 stripes). The Bag Let’s talk about the bag itself. The bag has a mustard-colored. It has a patch self-design in beige. The pattern definitely looks catchy. The bag is of high quality, as opposed to the bag I received in Fab Bag March 2019. It makes it a nice gift option too. I have tried SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick before and yes it was impressive. The latest range is actually way more lightweight than the smudge me not range. Also, it does not go super dry on the lips as the former range used to go. SUGAR Suede Secret Matte Lipcolor – 15 Fleece Fuchsia is a deep Fuschia shade. It will flatter all skin tones, including fair, light, medium, wheatish, and dark. It is priced at 799/-. Receiving it in Fab Bag, kind of covers your cost for the bag straight way up. INARA Cosmo Beauty Nail Lacquer INARA Cosmo is a new brand introduced by Fab Bag. I remember in March Fab Bag, there was a transparent nail lacquer that highly disappointed me. I received a lively red shade of INARA Cosmo Beauty Nail Lacquer. The quality of the nail lacquer is good. It has a soft shine. It is 15 Free Formula, which is very impressive. Maybe that’s why it’s priced at Rs. 450/- Organic Harvest Diamond Shine & Glow Facial Kit Organic Harvest is slowly expending it’s product-based. Recently I tried its new soaps (loved them all), sheet masks, etc. In Fab Bag April 2019, I received a set of Organic Harvest Diamond Shine & Glow Facial Kit. The kit has 6 steps to follow. It contains Cleansing Milk, Exfoliating Scrub, Massage Cream, Mask, Serum & Sunscreen. It is marketed as suitable for all skin types. The packaging is clean. I don’t know why. All the products are getting accumulated in my closet in a corner, I just can’t start using them. Maybe I should give them away. Kronokare Pollu-Stop Hair Mist is quite a practical product concept-wise. I can comment on its efficacy to protect hair from pollution. Texture-wise it’s watery and has a very mild sweet fragrance. It is free of sulfates, mineral oil, and artificial fragrance. I find these facts really and I think I am going to try at least this product form Kronokare for sure. I received a 30ml spray bottle which is good for travel purposes but won’t last for long is used daily. The hair mist is priced at Rs. 395/-. Hiphop Nail Polish Remover Wipes Last month also I received these wipes. They do work They are good to go in your handbag for emergencies or travel. I think I am going to keep these in my handbag. I wish they had supplied some more instead of just one pack. This certainly does not feel like a bonus product. Fab Bag April 2019, is a decent deal. The bag is pretty and usable. The subscription fee is Rs. 599/- and goes down in case you subscribe for longer. You get worth 1900 products in April bag. The products are very usable and of high quality.
