Hey Girls, How about making a tea light candle holder out of your unused glass jar. Being beauty junky, I buy lots of stuff, and some only because they had beautiful packaging. I never through an empty container, I just can’t. I have huge boxes filled with empty jars and containers. I always feel like I can recycle them. I can use them anyhow. Actually it’s true. There had been times, when I really needed to use some old container. And that’s when I thanked myself. So today, I will be using a long stored glass jar. Remember how much I loved, Botanic Love Acne Mask ? After I used up all the face mask, I saved this cute little jar. It’s adorable. I could have used it in many ways. I could have put some colorful marbles and it would have attracted attention. But I planned to use it some other way. I chose this glass jar to make a cool tea light candle holder. Tea light candles are very small and they tend to look very basic if not arranged in a special way. A candle holder actually multiplies the beauty of a candle. When it comes to teal light candles, you just can’t ignore a beautiful holder. What You Need To Make A Tea Light Candle Holder There are numerous ways you can make a candle light holder. I am going to share a very quick tutorial. A very simple way, because I like it to be simple yet mesmerizing. You don’t need much things. Most of the things are very much subjective to your choice & their availability. A Clean Glass Jar A glass jar, be it of any size is the most basic requirement, because you want your candle to be shown through the container. A mason jar is an ideal choice. But even a glass wine would work just fine. I cleaned the empty jar of Botanic Love Face Mask thoroughly and it was ready to serve me very well. Colorful Bath Salt / Marbles / Sand Next thing in the list is something that you can use to fill up the jar with. You can use as basic as sand, stones, marbles, basically any thing that serves the purpose well. I opted for Soul Flower Germanium Bath Salt because it smells heavenly. It kind of pumps up the ambiance. The beautiful rich pink color of the bath salt adds charm to the jar. Tea Light Candles You need to decide how many candles you want to put inside your jar. It depends upon the size of the jar. If you are using a big mason jar, it can hold more than one candle. My jar is very small, so I opted for single candle. A String (Optional) I wanted my glass jar to hang in my balcony and so I arranged for a decorative string. In case you want the holder to lay on a flat surface you don’t need this string. How To Make Tea Light Candle Holder At Home Easily Pour bath salt/ sand / marbles/ stones in your pre cleaned glass jar till the jar is 3/4 full. Place your tea light candles over the base. If you want to hang your holder, wrap the string around the neck of the jar and secure it with few knots. Lay or hang your holder wherever you want it. Lit the candle and enjoy the beauty of night. Quick Tip: You can also add glittery particles to the base that you are using to fill your jar. Run your imagination and see some real magic happen. Later. Much Love. Nisha ❤

Steps To Prepare The Scrub Take 1 teaspoon Coffee in a dry bowl. Add ½ teaspoon Sunflower Oil to it and mix. Add 2 drops of Lemongrass or any other citrus essential oil and stir. Store the scrub in an airtight container for future use. Usage: Dampen the area to be exfoliated and remove the excess moisture using a soft towel. Take appropriate amount of scrub and exfoliate the skin using firm circular strokes for 2-3 minutes. Leave it for 3-4 more minutes so that the oils get seeped into the skin and then wash it off. Continue with your razor hair removal routine after 10-15 minutes as per the sensitivity level of your skin. Precautions Though all the ingredients used in this exfoliator are either natural or food grade, but it is good do a patch test beforehand to prevent any skin irritation, breakouts etc. Do not keep the scrub in any moist place like shower area or touch it with moist hands. This may cause the coffee granules to lose its grittiness which in turn will lessen the effectiveness of the scrub. It is best to use the scrub freshly made. Feet are very prone to get the least attention when it comes to body pampering. I myself feel lazy to give little more than a regular wash & moisturizer to my feet. Result? Dull & tanned feet crying for little love. Thanks to this article, I gave some love to my feet, trust me they were in very bad shape. They need more care, which I promised to give on regular basis. So I was saying, we do not need many things to take care of our feet. We can do pedicure at home with the things that we already have. We just need to skip being lazy. Let’s do a at home session with me today. What You Need To Clean Your Feet? Water tub with little warm water filled in it so that your feet are fully submerged into it. A Nail Clipper / Nail Filer Nail Paint remover & Cotton A Mild Shampoo /Body Wash Scrub / Bath Salt / Loofah Light Massaging cream / Glycerin Love For Your Feet That’s all going to do what it takes to pamper your feet. You can use a nail clipper or a nail filer, depending on what you have handy. Also In case you have your nail paint on your toes, you will need to have a nail paint remover with some cotton. A shampoo or a body wash in warm water, works to bring down the hardness of your soles. Which could be scrubbed away with a loofah or scrub. Bath Salt gives kind of luxurious feeling & have some therapeutic properties attached to it. Since I have Soul Flower Germanium Bath Salt lying around, I would like to use it. You can use any scrub or loofah to scrub away dead skin. A massage cream seals the moisture in the skin making it soft & supple. You can use any moisturizer or even Glycerin. If you would like to use Hydrogen Peroxide (to treat tan), you must use Glycerin or a nice massage cream since Hydrogen Peroxide can be harsh & drying on your skin. I do have Hydrogen Peroxide with me, but I do not like to use it I do not consider it good for skin in long term. How To Do Pedicure At Home? Start by pouring some shampoo/ body wash (& some bath salt, if you are using one) in to the warm water tub. Dip your feet in the water. If you would like to use Hydrogen Peroxide too, pour 2-3 tablespoon of it into the water. In case you are wearing nail paint, remove it using a nail paint remover & cotton or ready made nail paint remover. Clip your nails, if you feel like to. Shape them. Clean the sides of your nails of any dirt deposited inside. Make sure your soles are still dipped into the water so that the shampoo is doing it’s job. Grab some scrub & give a nice scrubbing to your feet including in between your toes & soles. You can also use a loofah to remove the hard dead skin at your soles. Wash your feet in clean water & wipe them with towel. Now it’s time to moisturize them. Use a massage cream or glycerin to give a light massage to your feet. You can do this as long as you want. By this step your feet must have gotten clean of tan & dead skin. Now you can paint your toe nails or just leave them without any paint for few days. We all crave for a fair/bright tone, Right? God bless us with soft, supple & glowing skin. As we age due to the environmental pollution, hormonal changes and unhealthy eating & lifestyle habits we all lose the beautiful complexion. If you want that skin tone back nature can help us as it have magic in itself. So, here are some DIY face packs with easy to find ingredients which will help you to get fairer. 1. Castor Oil & Honey Pack Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid having antibacterial properties. Every day use of it makes skin fairer and younger also. For this mask take 1 tablespoon castor oil, 1 tablespoon honey and 3-4 spoon cream, now mix them well. Clean your face and apply it properly. Leave it for 10 minutes and then wash the face with lukewarm water. Now apply any moisturizer. 2. Orange & Sandalwood Pack Oranges are rich in vitamin c and have natural bleaching properties. Sandalwood is in use from ancient times to exfoliate and tone skin. In order to make this pack take 1-1 tablespoon orange peel powder and sandalwood powder. Take a bowl and mix these two with little water. Now apply it on clean face and leave for 10-15 min. Now wash with water. 3. Tomato and Oatmeal Pack Tomatoes have lycopene which is food for skin while oatmeal exfoliates it. To make this pack mix 3-4 tablespoon tomato juice into same amount of oatmeal. Apply it on clean face and leave for 20 minutes before wash. You can also add 3-4 drops of lemon juice in it. 4. Mulberry Pack Mulberry is used in many skin products. It has many skin benefits. Take 20-25 mulberry fruits and wash them properly to remove dirt particles. Now mesh them in a bowl with a spoon. Apply this paste on face and neck areas. Leave it for 15-20 minutes and then wash with fresh water. This pack is very refreshing also. 5. Aloe Vera Gel Pack Aloe Vera is a boon to us from nature as it has countless benefits. Take an alovera leaf and cut it to take out gel or you can use gel from market but take care as many of them contain chemical to preserve. Apply it on face and neck area or wherever you feel the skin tone is dark, leave for 15-20 minutes and then wash it. You can also apply it overnight for better results. 6. Rice Powder Pack We all use rice for eating purposes but it can also be used to whiten skin. For this pack take raw rice and grind then into fine powder. Add water or milk to make paste. Apply this on darker parts. Leave for 15-20 minutes and then rinse with water. 7. Gram Flour Pack Gram flour better known as besan is also beneficial to tone and clean skin. Take 3-4 tablespoon of besan and add some turmeric powder to it. Now mix it in water or milk to make a paste. Also you can add few drops of olive oil/ coconut oil. Apply it on skin and wash after 20 minutes. For better results repeat these packs twice in a week and use only one at a time. Also take care if you are allergic to any of the used products. Before applying the whole first try on little area on leg or hand. Along with using these ingredients you should take a nutritious diet which is full of vitamin C, this act as an antioxidant and it helps our body to produces collagen ‘the beauty protein’. A day look can be sweet & innocent, but a date night must be dramatic. What can be more dramatic than golden and glittery eyes. I tried one such look.
