Best Tunic Styles To Watch Out For

A Tunic is a versatile style. It does not need anything else to go with, but it can easily be incorporated with a pair of shorts/pants or skirt. There are very few styles that are as versatile as a tunic. I, usually, buy tunics online , and before buying one, I tend to visualize how I can use this piece in more than one way. And surprisingly, I could figure out more than 2 ways with every single piece just by looking at the picture. It’s not all my imagination, but it’s the flexibility of this style.

Fashion is the right mix of comfort with your unique taste. A tunic is, no doubt, one of the most comfortable pieces of clothing. You can wear a tunic in so many ways. There are no hard rules on wearing tunics, like, if you are in a hurry, and could not shave your legs, but want to wear a tunic dress?  Wear a pair of leggings and you are good to go. 

Tunics come in different forms and every body type can find it’s perfect cut. You choose the style that suits you the best. It could be a tunic top or an all-covering tunic dress, tunics are revolutionary in every sense.

Tunics have ruled a girl’s heart and wardrobe since it came into existence. You find it in every walk of life, be it casual wear, work wear or even when you are partying. Even though we love co-ords, but tunics are evergreen fashion. So what are the hottest tunic trends? Let’s have a look.

All Work No Play

When a chic decides to go on a full work mode, it serves her, all day long. Cotton which is an all-weather fabric is the most suitable for such work wear outfits. A well-fitted tunic, with a length at least till your waist but not more than your hips, looks the most flattering.

Choose the appropriate length, short length tunic tops suit tall and petite girls, but heavy hips should go for longer lengths, obviously. Slip into a pair of pants, straight fit or wide legs, your choice. 

A Lacey Affair

Instagram and every other fashion gram are being round up by the laced up tunic girls. And we are definitely loving them all. So you could choose from the lacework or patchwork, totally up to your preference. For an ultra chic and feminine look, pick few for yourself too.

Beach Babe

Tunics with shorts is the most preferred beach attire. This is a classic fashion for summers and especially if you plan to visit the beach. Nothing looks more exotic than, flowy tunics with unique beach hairstyles and denim shorts. Agree?

Tasseled & Embroidered

Most of the casual clothes and especially the regular wear tunics are designed using tasseled and embroidery. These two actually go hand in hand and kind of compliment each other. Grab a few fresh pieces of the long tunic (to go with shorts) for your daily wear. Prefer some light shades though.

Miss Boss – Shirt Style Tunic

The Shirt Style dress or tunic made a comeback last year. It’s actually one of the coolest summer fashion. Just slip into a button down long shirt and pair it with a belt (sleek or wide again your choice). This semi-casual look is good when you have to run errands and attend a few work appointments too.

Mind Some Fancy Sleeves

The ultra-chic goes an extra mile to get that perfect look. Frills are almost out, how about some umbrella or butterfly sleeves? Also, these types of sleeves look the best with synthetic material, so you might have to give up a bit of your comfort.

Sadly the cold shoulder and off shoulder tunics are going to bid goodbye this year, so they are not on the list. Being a broad shoulder girl, I personally never liked them as I find them really uncomfortable and high maintenance.
