If you are following me over Instagram, you must have seen my swatches of Vatenn 18HR Kissproof lipsticks. I got Vatenn Kissproof Lipstick in 03 Mahogany and 06 Light Pink. Vatenn Cosmetics is an Italian brand and has been launched in India very recently. The brand offers lipsticks, ink eyeliner, kajal, mascara, eyeshadow, compact power , foundation etc. So far I can say, I am experiencing only good things with the products that I got from the brand. Available in 15 gorgeous shades, Vatenn 18HR Kisspoof Lipsticks, are full coverage, waterproof and smudge proof matte lipsticks. The matte finish is smooth and soft. Packaging
Vatenn 18HR Kissproof Lipsticks are packed in beautiful gloss like tubes. The actually look like lip gloss. The tubes are made of sturdy transparent plastic material with a silver cap. Lipstick name, ingredients and other manufacturing details are provided on the tube. Shade name and shade number are mentioned at the bottom of the tube.
The packaging is attractive and travel friendly. I happened to drop one of these cuties and the tube did not break or did not crack. It shows how sturdy the packaging is.
Vatenn 18HR Kissproof Lipstick Mahogany 03
This is a mix a earthy brown shade. It belongs to the category of nude lipsticks. Mahogany has bit of rust-y hints too. It’s a beautiful shade and I see most of the bloggers reach for this shade. Vatenn 18HR Kissproof Lipstick Mahogany 03 is suitable for fair, medium, wheatish and even dusky skin tones as it is a warm shade.
Vatenn 18HR Kissproof Lipstick Light Pink 06
Don’t get fooled by the shade name. It’s not light pink. It’s actually a transition from red to pink and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I love it to the core. If you are not into absolute red shades, you can go for Vatenn 18HR Kissproof Lipstick Light Pink 06. This shade is also suitable for all skin tones as it has warm undertones.
Very less lipsticks are so versatile. Light Pink & Mahogany, both the shades are suitable for all the Indian skin tones.
Fragrance And Formula
The formula of Vatenn 18HR Kissproof Lipsticks is very rich. It’s high in color and goes very smooth on lips. I love how beautifully it spreads on my lips. It does not settle or accentuate fine lines on my lips which I generally develop during winter. The formula is very lightweight that once it sets, you actually start doubting yourself if you are wearing a lipstick or not. Vatenn kissproof lipsticks are totally different than other matte/ liquid lipsticks, that paint your lips and give a stretchy feeling to your lips.
There is a mild and sweet fragrance attached to the lipsticks. You can ignore it easily. It’s not overpowering.
Are Vatenn 18HR Kissproof Lipsticks Really Kissproof?
I actually tested this. Yes, it does not transfer to the objects or people you touch by your lips. They are transfer resistant. Just give it a bit of time to set like 60 seconds. You can totally have meal or enjoy your coffee. Finally we have found a lipstick that does not transfer to our white cups.
And this feature explains, the longevity of Vatenn 18HR Kissproof Lipsticks. They stay really long that by the evening you will have to take them off using a makeup remover. One of the nastiest lipstick out there.
Vatenn 18HR Kissproof Lipsticks, are rich in color, formula, offer wide range of shades and stays on lips without smudge or transfer. They are very lightweight and feels like feather on lips.
