Be My Valentine Forever

I am a hopeless romantic. I don’t need a special date to feel love or loved. I just need you, my love. How many times, I have told you this. How may times I have insisted you to spend a day with me, just with me, without bringing your gadgets between us. How many times, we started a long drive that just left us exhausted and sour without any perfect set of photographs as memories.

Are we running, love? I think we are running. We are running, fast. Very fast that we are loosing our breath. We are not running from each other, but together towards something that looks very unattainable to me. Something undefined. Why are we running? Can I tell you that I want to slow down? It’s pointless.

We have entered into our 30’s, love. You are such a great father. You have planned everything for our kid. You are a wonderful husband because you have planned our retirement too. But before that we have a wonderful life together at the present. Not perfect but a beautiful life. I just can’t rush to future right away. I am not ready. I don’t want to.

Let’s live the time we have right now. When we are still young and restless. When we have uncertainty in life, When we have fire in our hearts and desires… Speaking of desires, I have loads of them. I desire more laughs with you. I desire more time in your arms. I desire more of us and less of me.

I know you are doing this for us. For a better life, that you want me to live, that you want our kid to live, that you deserve to live. But trust me, it’s the time, you stop worrying and be more content with what we have right now. This time will never come back.

Just stop, take a look at life we have created together. When we started, we were immature and naive. We explored life together and learned our way out together. How amazing is that? I know you are smiling now. And let me tell you nothing else matters. Even my tantrums and anger episodes, are fake. I never mean to be mean to you, because, I know, it’s deep down there, it’s just love, be it your heart or mine.

We have never done this officially, but let me say this today, Be My Valentine, Forever. And no you can’t say No ….❤
