Keratin is a hair protein, a building block for our hair. Keratin is also the most talked-about treatment for troubled hair. I never got it on my hair and was very keen to try it. When I received this hamper from Trichup, I was happy to try it.

The shampoo comes packed in a green light color bottle with a dark green color flip top cap. The packaging is quite usual as a shampoo bottle. The bottle is sturdy and has slim edges to give a nice grip.

Fragrance & Texture
The shampoo has a very nice mild and pleasing fragrance. It actually refreshes my mood. It has a fresh appeal.
Texture-wise, the shampoo is very runny. The white colored shampoo lathers really well. I mix it with little water before applying it over my scalp. It cleanses well.
How To Use Trichup Keratin Shampoo?
This is a Keratin-infused shampoo, but it is to be used as a regular shampoo.
- Wet your scalp and hair.
- Pour a little shampoo on the palm of your hand.
- Mix some water to form a lather.
- Apply this mixture on to your scalp in equal proportion.
- Spread the lather on your hair tips as well.
- Massage your scalp and hair well.
- Pour clean water to rinse out the shampoo.
- Pat dry with a towel and proceed with the conditioner/hair mask.
My Experience
Using the right shampoo can change the way your hair looks and feels. I prefer using an ayurvedic shampoo that sans any kind of parabens and SLES. Trichup shampoo also sans these harmful chemicals.
Trichup Keratin shampoo cleanses hair and scalp really well. It takes away the oil and grime in one wash. Hair smells good after the wash but the scent goes away very quickly.
My hair feels softer, nourished, and bouncy after each wash. Though it takes time to improve the texture of the hair, I can see the hydration of my hair has improved a lot.
The quantity provided with the shampoo is good and I anyway need very little quantity to it will last me for a couple of months.

Fragrance & Texture
The mask has the same lingering fragrance as the shampoo. It’s mild and pleasant. It stays on hair till I keep the mask on my hair. As I rinse the mask the fragrance too slowly leaves my hair after air drying.
Texture-wise, Trichup Damage Repair Keratin Hot Oil Treatment hair mask is very creamy. This white colored mask has a thick consistency but it is easy to apply it on damp hair. While applying the mask on my hair I can feel the deep moisture sinking into my hair shaft.
How To Use Trichup Keratin Hair Mask?
- Start with damp and clean hair, preferably after using a shampoo.
- Apply from root to the tip of the hair.
- Massage from root to the tip using your thumb and index finger,
- Leave for 10-15 minutes or more if you have time.
- Rinse with clean water.
- Air dry and style.
My Experience
I do not want to sound too excited but I feel like this is one of the products I should have tried earlier. My hair type is dry and they are in the dire need to moisture.
Being high in porosity, they do absorb moisture, but the moisture is swept away as soon as I wash them. Keratin coats hair and forms a layer so that the moisture can stay locked in.
I have been using this hair mask for 2 weeks now and have used it 3-4 times, and I love the difference in my hair that I notice after every use. My hair feels softer and shinier. I feel they are less frizzy and more manageable. With every use, I hope to see better results.
