So the weather is becoming pleasant day by day. Delhi heat has subsidized to a great extent, but fall has not entered yet. For those fashionistas whose hearts are aching for fall, you can have it right away. You don’t need an official beginning of fall to flaunt fall fashion. All you need is just to master the art of layering. Layering is an evergreen fashion. You just need to pick the right fabric and the right styles. Be it summer, monsoon or winter, you can layer your clothes and charm the crowd.
In Delhi, it’s one of the amazing season that we are experiencing right now. The temperature has dropped to sensible point. We are not sweating or patting like crazy. We can think about a lot of important things other than to keep us fresh all day long. We can think about fall fashion before it has approached.
What Is Fall Fashion?
Fall Fashion is not limited to wearing jackets or hoodies. You can wear anything if you know how to layer your clothes. You can wear summer dresses under long jackets or overcoats. You can wear your favorite slip dress and get cozy with a fur coat. It’s all about balancing your style with comfort.
Why Do You Need To Fake Fall?
Basically fashion bloggers in Florida seem to be faking it already. Why not we? I love fall fashion. I love layering my clothes. I love walking all cozy yet stylish. But Fall is bit far. So let’s fake it.
What I Picked Up To Fake Fall?
I wish I had some dried maple leaves flying around me, but that’s not possible right now since it’s not fall. So what I can do is just to pick the right clothes and style them.
I am a sucker for summer maxi dresses. You must know this if you are following me from some time. Open my wardrobe and the clothes will come running on face. I hope you got an idea.
So this printed black maxi dress is an absolute sweetheart. It’s long, it has straps, it has side slits, and a beautiful hemline. Next, I wanted something that could add an element of fall. What could be a better than a trench coat to give the feel of fall. But I did not actually pick a trench coat, since it’s not that cold. I picked up my trench coat dress that I got for my birthday.
This trench coat dress can be worn as a jacket. And hell yeah, this peach colored trench coat style coordinated very well with my black maxi dress. I feel, Not just with this maxi dress, I can wear it with almost any thing. Like a pair of shorts, a skirt, a dress, just anything.
The fun part lies in the styling of the clothes. You don’t need to put much of science. You just need to have basic understanding of how styles work together. How colors go with each other. Just pick the right clothes and you are almost done.
Any Accessories? And What About Hair & Makeup?
Well, I did not use much of accessories. I just did not feel like to. A pair of sunglasses did the trick. But you can wear nice earrings if you decide to go with a hair bun. Here I let my hair open so earrings were not necessary. Makeup is just to highlight your face and you know what to do.
Heels Or Sneakers?
It’s bit tricky. I like the comfort of sneakers, but heels, I am a sucker for a nice pair of heels. These champagne colored pumps are my current favorite. I love them. They are so versatile I can wear them with anything. To flaunt a glamorous look a nice pair of heels is must but if you want to looks more relaxed and laid back you can choose a pair of sneakers. Boots would have been too hot for Delhi right now.
Yay Or Nay?
So girls, how do you like it? Are you, too, waiting for fall to arrive so that you can take out your stylish jackets & boots? What you think about this trench coat dress that I have styled differently?

I think this style can suit anyone as maxi dress hides all the flab and only gives you a more toned look. Do try it sometime ๐

Now that’s an interesting idea! I am not a fan of layering per se because I am on the heavier side and it makes me look bulky. But I like your style. Super chic!
