Colored Kajals & liners are fun ain’t they? Rimmel London ScandalEyes WaterProof Kohl Kajal in Brown shade is not that exotic & bright color, but I really like the earthy hint that it gives to my eyes while complementing my skin tone. Before taking off to Kodaikanal, I was religiously searching for a brown kajal which I could wear during my stay since I was really bored of wearing the regular black kajal. Luckily while stalking Google for ‘best brown kajal’ I came to know about this piece. I read some online reviews about the product & made my mind to give it a try. Rimmel London ScandalEyes WaterProof Kohl Kajal Ultra Smooth Texture. Intense Color Long Wear Waterproof Formula Crayon Packaging Price Rs. 345 for 1.2gm. Packaging It comes in the form of a sharpable, brown pencil with a transparent long cap on it’s mouth. ScandalEyes is printed on the pencil in Bold fonts, while pencil features are fine-printed. The shade Brown 003 is also printed at the other end of the kajal. The pencil is quite slim & easy to carry, but I need to sharpen it frequently which I totally detest, because, I just can’t maintain a fine tip, be it any kajal. Shade – Brown 003 As far as I know there are 15 shades of this kohl kajal. Impressive no? Black, Sparkling Black, Brown, Light Blue, Bright Blue, Deep Blue, Turquoise, Golden, Silver, Purple and few more, I just could not find name of all the variants. The brown shade is brown with shimmer, a lot of shimmer. So if you are looking for a matte / basic brown you will be bit disappointed. Even though it is not ultra shimmery, but does make your eyes shine a bit. Fragrance & Texture A very creamy kajal it is. Glides on my lash line & water line effortlessly giving nice color. It does not have any smell. Pigmentation Pigmentation of the pencil is nice, but I anyway swipe it at least twice, just out of habit. I get the exact amount of brown on my eyes, I glide it once or twice. Finish Color with shimmer. Not all the pencils from this range have shimmer I guess, but this one definitely has. So the brown shade won’t make your eye look dull. Longevity The pencil offers impressive staying power. I have worn it for full days. The fact that the pencil is waterproof definitely adds to it’s longevity. I use a makeup remover or some oil based cleanser at night to take it off completely. But it comes off easily with oil based cleanser or makeup remover, no excessive rubbing it required. Overall, Rimmel London ScandalEyes WaterProof Kohl Kajal  in Brown, is definitely a nice grab if you wan to try out a kajal in brown with shimmer.
