Happy July People. Beauty & makeup products attracted a rate of 28% under GST. That’s kind of sad, but at least daily essential stuff is cheaper. That’s a good news. No, I am not going to bore you with GST & it’s effects on our life. I know there are experts out there which will pour more insight on the same. Coming back to my area of interest, a month has passed since I last did an empty post so it’s the time to get together all the empties of the last month. Surprisingly, this month, it’s mostly hair care stuff that I have managed to finish off completely. Have a look… I have been using Aloe Vera – Lemon DIY Serum during most of the nights, but when I feel lazy to open my refrigerator and take out the potion, I use Garnier White complete Night Cream. This is a nice Vitamin C based night cream suits my oily skin without making it oily or breaking it out. It helps to brighten skin tone & fade away scars with regular use. Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Wash is a decent face wash which is non drying & brightening in nature. It contains Licorice & White Dammer which are clinically proven to enhance complexion with regular use. I use it once a day, it cleanses skin well without drying it out. Buy here. I got Blue Heaven Nail Enamel Remover with Vitamin E as a free gift with some purchase at super market. I have been using it to remove SUGAR Tic Tac Toe Nail Enamel & others, and it definitely is a nice product costing only Rs. 50. Since it contains Vitamin E, it does not feel harsh on nails or cuticles. I might get it again sometime. Tresemme Botanique Detox & Restore Shampoo And Conditioner was a nice experience. The combo got over pretty simultaneously. Do you know Tresemme bottles are mostly half filled only. That’s why it got over in few washes, given that I use Ketomac Anti Dandruff & Anti Itching Shampoo With 2% Ketoconazole every week once a day. Buy the combo here. Juicy Chemistry is an organic brand offering nice skin & hair care products. I have tried only 2 products form the brand yet, and am impressed. Juicy Chemistry Argan & Mango Butter Hair Masque is a pre-shampoo mask, which nourished my hair & made them healthy. It has Argan Oil which works the best on my dry hair. Buy here. It is always a good thing to keep your vanity clear of unused products. If you find a product is not good enough to be used as such, then you can find out some alternate ways to use it. This way you can always keep your vanity organized. Love.

Ingredients Packaging Tresemme Botanique is a new range from Tresemme which emphasis on using more natural ingredients to remove product build up from scalp and hair. The packaging kind of depicts the fact. Tresemme Botanique Detox & Restore Shampoo is contained in a forest green matte bottle with a black press-to-open cap which also can be unscrewed from the mouth of the bottle. The bottle is opaque which makes it easier for the brand to gimmick us of giving 190 ml only for 150 bucks while in reality the bottle of any Tresemme shampoo or conditioner are always half filled. Tresemme Botanique Nourish & Repenish Conditioner comes in a white colored opaque bottle with black press to open cap at the top. The conditioner bottle contains graphics of herbs (Ginseng & Neem), with other information printed at the back. I find the packaging to be attractive, informative, leak proof & sturdy. Fragrance & Texture The fragrance of Tresemme products is always good & this range too does fit for the statement. The fragrance is little on herbal side but not in a pungent way. I rather find the fragrance sweet & mild. Sadly, the smell does not linger on hair for long. The shampoo is very runny in consistency & clear gel in texture. It lathers very well, so I do not need to use a lot of product in order to clean my hair and scalp. On the other hand, the conditioner s bit thick in consistency because it is cream based. It is white in color and is not much runny. I unscrew the cap of the conditioner to take out the product because it takes a lot of time to take out the product otherwise. My Views My hair type is dry & dull. My hair ends are really always in dire need of moisture. I like to oil my hair before shampooing to boost some moisture in my hair. I also detest using those shampoos, conditioners & serum which gives silicon build up on my hair. This range from Tresemme is specially to remove product build up and induce the natural shine into hair. I picked up this combo of shampoo & conditioner with out any hesitation. It is important to use a clarifying shampoo every few days to keep your hair free of product build up. Talking about the shampoo I like the smell, consistency & the texture. It lathers well upon mixing when diluted with water. It cleanses my scalp & hair of any dirt, grim & oil that my hair might have. If I have oiled my hair, I do go for an another round of shampoo but with half the amount. My hair feels soft & smells nice while I am still rinsing them. Taking out the excess water out of my hair after shampoo, I take out some conditioner in the palm of my hand. I spread it across my hair till roots avoiding the scalp. It it not that utterly creamy conditioner, like I want my conditioner to be, but it still amazingly conditions & de-tangles my hair withing 3-5 minutes while I take my shower. After taking my shower, I rinse out the conditioner & take out excess water out of my hair. Let my hair dry naturally & then go for a hair serum. The texture of my hair has improved. There is definitely induced level of shine. My hair are more obi dent and less frizzy. I really am liking this hair care combo. Summary I really recommend Tresemme Botanique Detox & Restore Shampoo And Nourish & Replenish Conditioner, as clarifying shampoo & conditioner which are free of parabenes & dyes. The shampoo cleanses scalp and hair of dirt, oil & grim. Contains anti bacterial & anti fungal ingredients. The conditioner is nourishing and works even on dry & dull hair. The combo seem to be suitable for all hair types, as the texture of the combo is very light. I don’t realize it & I keep hauling up. Recently I found this new brand Assure Beauty & Personal Care, which seem to be really promising. I have been using it’s few products from few days and they are working pretty fabulously. I was introduced to this brand by a neighbor. The brand offers skin care & personal care products. The packaging is nice & sturdy. the price is reasonable too. I see myself buying more stuff from the brand. I got Assure Anti Ageing Night Cream, Assure Complete Fairness Cream & Assure Moisture Rich Shampoo. Neeraj got tanned very badly on the recent trip to Kodaikanal, since he didn’t care to wear a sunscreen. Now he wants to get rid of the tan. I spotted Tan Removal Orange range from Himalaya Herbals last week in a supermarket. The range includes Tan Removal Orange Face Wash, Tan Removal Orange Scrub & Tan Removal Peel Off Mask. Orange Peel is considered to be a great remedy for tan. Without hesitating I bought the trio pack. I also spotted the new Tresemme Botanique Detox & Restore Shampoo and Conditioner. This is a clarifying range form Tresemme. Why do you need a clarifying shampoo? Let me tell you. You use shampoos , conditioners, hair sprays, hair serums and what not to get & maintain gorgeous hair. But with time your hair tends to get loaded with silicons & other chemicals present in the hair products. This makes your hair rough, dull & dry. A clarifying shampoo helps to get rid of the build up. Makes them alive. I have started using the detox duo, shall be sharing my complete review. These were some new items in my vanity that I thought should share with you. I also restocked some regular items like Ayur sunscreen (he uses this while going for Sunday games in the morning) & Himalaya NeemVati which is working nicely for my skin problems. I will be back with some more reviews quickly.
