I was out of the station for some time and as I reached home in Delhi today, I was greeted with lots of packages containing goodies. Among the packages were also, Fab Bag & Glamego. This post is going to be about Glamego August 2017 Ingredient Magic. GlamEgo is currently one of the most sought after beauty box right now. It gives 4-5 products out of which 2-3 are full-sized while others are decently sized so that you can get nice use out of the products to decide your take. So let’s jump over to the details of the August subscription of GlamEgo. GlamEgo box can be subscribed from its official website starting from 299 only for one month. You can subscribe for 3/6/12 months in one go which subsequently reduces the cost per box. GlamEgo August 2017 – Ingredient Magic Ingredient Magic is the theme of the current box. GlamEgo presents 4 products that are based on Charcoal, Brahmi & Amla, Vanilla & Magnolia. The products seem to be handpicked. I am really excited to try out the brands, most of which promise to be chemical-free & paraben-free. Charcoal Face Pack of Neemli (Rs. 550) Brahmi & Amla Hair Cleanser of BioBloom ( Rs. 399) Face Cream Deluxe Size Of The Nature’s Co (Rs. 550) BB Cream Of Inveda (Rs. 150) Neemli Activated Charcoal Face Mask I have already use Neemli Coffee Body Wrap & Neemli Green Tea Lip Scrub, and I am a fan of this brand. I am really excited to try out another product from the brand which happens to be a Charcoal face mask. Really cool. I shall try it very soon and will let you know my experience with the same. Update: I used this face pack and it turned out to be an okay product. It did not do anything miraculous to my skin. I feel activated charcoal is not something my skin likes. I am more of a sandalwood powder person. BioBloom Brahmi & Amla Hair Cleanser I have used BioBloom Lavender Hand Cream, which I found lightweight & smelling nice. BioBloom Brahmi & Amla Hair Cleanser is paraben-free & sulfate-free. Nice no? Another great product in the box. Update: I used this hair cleanser once and then I could not use it ever again. Because it made my already-dry hair drier. So it’s lying in my closet unused. The Nature’s Co Face Cream Deluxe Size I have received many such creams form TNC but I never use them. I am always afraid they might break out my acne-prone skin. I might keep aside for colder days. Not really looking forward to using it right away. This is a deluxe-sized product, which will give many uses. Update: I tried using this cream, but as I opened it, a heavy and sweet smell made me uncomfortable. I closed the lid and stacked it with Bio Bloom hair cleanser. It’s heavily scented for no reason. I ignored the flimsy packaging, but the scent really put me off. Its texture is thick for my oily skin. Dry skin people might like it. Inveda 8 in 1 BB Cream SPF 20 Yesterday only, I was ogling on this BB Cream from Inveda in a store in Gurgaon, because my current CC cream from Lakme, is almost over. I was really wanting to try out something. Glad I did not purchase that yesterday. Actually I was not much impressed by the shade selection in the BB Cream. There is only one shade. A limited shade selection is such a letdown. By the way, this is a paraben-free BB cream. Also, if you look at the only shade available, it’s very odd. It looks pinkish-greyish. My wheatish skin would never agree with it. So another waste product for me. These were the products inside my GlamEgo box. Sadly, none of the products is exciting for me. This box is all waste of money for me. Maybe my hopes are too high to meet these beauty boxes. Just saying. Have you received your GlamEgo box yet? What you got this time? Please share in the comment section. Have fun.

I love mangoes! Who does not? But eating mangoes does not agree with my skin. It breaks out the very next day if I indulge in my mango tasting session. So this whole season of mangoes, I only smell them, watch other people in the house eating them shamelessly, and teasing me that I should taste at least one slice since it is so damn sweet. When it comes to eating mangoes, I don’t know from where I get this power of resistance and I really manage to find my way out of the dining room. So it’s alright that I can’t eat mangoes, but I can inhale their sweet aroma & also a have a bath with Mango based body wash – the Nature’s Co Creme Body Wash. A body wash literally smells like a fresh and pulpy mango. After rushing from the dining hall, I take myself on an evening bath routine which obviously includes this mango creme body wash. TNC claims that he body wash is rich in vitamins, minerals & anti oxidants and hence leaves skin looking healthy & nourished. Price Rs. 695 for 175ml. Ingredients I was amazed to see that the body wash actually contained mango pulp, and not just the fragrance. The other ingredients are quite natural too. Packaging The body wash comes in a transparent plastic tube depicting of Mangoes. Ripe & sliced mangoes with a Made In India tag on the front. While product information & ingredients list is provided at the back of the tube. Fragrance & Texture It’s no secret that it literally smells of heavenly mangoes. A very sweet aroma fills my nostrils and brings a smile on my lips. The body wash is quite runny in consistency & yellow in color for the obvious reasons. The body wash when poured on wet loofah & rubbed against the body lathers very well. Making my skin smelling of mangoes. My Experience I use it mostly during my evening baths since I like to smell sweet while going to bed. During my morning showers, I use something citrus-y/cool to smell fresh. Since the formula is creamy, runny & lathers well, I do not need much of the product to enjoy my bath. It leaves my skin cleansed of sweat & dirt while smelling sweet. Though the sweet smell does not stay for long. It vanishes away in few minutes after shower. I actually have not found any such body wash which can linger on my skin for long. It does not further dry out my dry skin. I can skip wearing a body lotion afterwords during summer/monsoon. TNC products are costly and so is this body wash. But it lasts very long because I need only a dollop of the product for every bath. So it is economical. It’s been around 2 months, that I have been using it once a day & it’s still half filled. Have you used this Mango body wash? Do you fancy a shower with mango pulp or it’s aroma? Let me know. Love.

Hello, I was already feeling little tired & lazy today and then on the top, my May Subscription Box from #MyEnvyBox turned out to be an average one. It arrived today in the morning. I was not expecting it, yet, it showed. Great. Next I opened the box to check out the products of this months. I was greeted by 2 broken ampoules which were supposed to be the samples of Omofree skin toner. There was nothing left in the tiny glass bottles and the small amount of toner packed in the bottles, was all soaked up by the box itself. Next I located few samples from L’Occitane. There was a sachet (the tiniest & the thinnest they could make) of hand cream. There were another two even more tiny sachets of face cream and serum. What’s the point? Single usage samples really put me off. They are useless. Here is the list of the products that I got in #myenvybox. The Nature’s Co Mango Creme Body Wash (Rs. 695 for 150ml) Cheryl’s Dermashade Sunblock SPF 30 (Rs. 550 for 50gm) GreCobe – Green Coffee (Rs. 70 for 1 Sachet, Rs. 540 for 30 sachets) Fuschia Herbal Fusion Shampoo (Rs. 450 for 100ml) L’occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream (Single usage sachet) L’occitane Reine Blanche Illuminating Serum (Single usage sachet) L’occitane Reine Blanche Illuminating Cream (Single usage sachet) Omorfee – Mellow Drizzle Skin Toner – Found broken 🙁 Let’s move on to the good part of the box. Actually the box itself is a treat to eyes. The light green colored box has water melon slices printed all over. My son really liked the box as he loves water melon very much. The Nature’s Co Mango Cream Body Wash It smells of Mangoes of course. I love mangoes (who does not), but I can’t eat them since they break my skin like hell. It would be relaxing to use a Mango body wash instead. After all, the aroma of mangoes is as exotic as it’s taste. Heavenly Sweet. Cheryl’s Dermashade Sunblock The sunblock is a nice addition to the box. I have used Cheryl’s Dermacleanse face wash for acne, and I was really impressed. The sunblock is something unspoken necessity all year long. This sunblock is supposed to suit all skin type. I shall try it on my oily & acne prone skin. It is bit costly than other regular sun blocks giving the amount of SPF it has (only 30). But may be it has got some other hidden benefits. Will let you know. GreCobe – The Green Coffee Just one sachet? Not fair. But I would try it. Though I am a tea lover, or would go for a cold coffee, if I have to. I have promised myself to get over my addiction to tea and try healthy alternates. Not a fan of Green Tea though, but who knows Green Coffee can hook me up. Fuschia Herbal Fusion Shampoo I have been seeing my fellow bloggers to rave about this new brand a lot. Now it’s time that I too try it. Fuschia claims that this is a handmade shampoo containing more of herbal ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Brahmi, Shikakai, Lemon Extracts, Amla Extracts and some very good essential oils. This sounds very exotic. Will be happy to try it. L’Occitane En Provence Samples This is a premium luxury brand and is really costly too. Hence, they send out only single usage sachets. Which I think does not serve much purpose. How can a cosmetic product be so potent that it will work in the very first use. I have used such a sample from Smytten Box also, which did not deliver much in single use. Omofree – Mellow Drizzle Skin Toner This is a new brand. I was not aware of Omofree, before receiving its sample in my box. The skin toner was packed in two 2ml glass ampules which were found broken as I opened the box. I can see a wet spot in the box. So this was My Envy Box for May 2017. I think you must be already aware of the products since the brand releases a video of the products even before shipping out the box. That kills all the suspense. Fab Bag is much good in keeping it’s products undisclosed (well, most of them) until you receive them. About the may box, It is a decent box, if I overlook the broken vile & single usage L’Occitane samples. The body wash, shampoo & sun block are decently sized products to deliver many uses. And I see some happy faces 🙂 I conclude this article here. Have a nice evening, fellas. Love.

Hi, After waiting for about 3 weeks, finally January 2017 Fab Bag arrived today in the morning. as soon as I unwrapped the package to find the bag, my son exclaimed, “hellofock”, he meant purple. Actually he knows all the colours by name, I don’t know why but he seemed to have nicknamed, the purple colour as “hellofock”. When I heard this word for the first time, few months back, I laughed a lot but I could not understand, what he was trying to say. So he pointed to things, by colour. Red, blue, hellofock (purple). When I point to something purple and say “It’s hellofock” , he would be like, “No, it’s puple (purple).” You see, only he can say “hellofock”. Coming back to this month’s Fab Bag, this time, as already seen on other blogs, I was expecting a clutch type bag, but the colour was a surprise. I got min in purple colour. Which is adorable. I would have liked the bag in pink colour also, just saying. In case you do not know much about Fab Bag, let me brief you. Fab bag is an innovative idea to make you experience luxurious skin/hair/body products from various international brands via providing you with samples in a monthly fee of Rs. 599. You can also also subscribe for 3/6/12 months which lowers the monthly cost of the bag subsequently. You can order your fab bag visiting their website Fabbag.com. From last 2-3 months I was not subscribing to Fab Bag, since I was not really impressed by the contents. But I was missing Fab Bag. On January 1st, I checked Fabbag.com to see, what could I expect this month. I saw this clutch type bag which looked really fancy. Also the product listing was decent. So I straight away subscribed for 6 months, which also entitled me for a bonus product, I will disclose later in the post. My fab bag got late this month since the fab bag people have a policy to ship new orders starting from the 3rd week of every month. But hopefully from next month my Fab bag will be on time. Have a look inside my Fab bag, see What I got. There is a welcome note in the bag, where all the products that I got in the bag are listed. It also states the product quantity & price. Sugar Lash Mob Limitless Mascara – Black With a Bang (Full Size: Rs. 699). O3+ Mattifying Gel Cream SPF 50 (Full Size : 385) MCaffeine Neem Caffeine Face Wash – 50 ml (Rs. 449 for 150 ml) The Nature’s Co, White Tea Night Cream – 20ml (Rs. 895 for 50ml) Wella EIMI Perfect Me Lightweight BB Lotion – 6ml (Rs. 900 for 100ml) Bonus : SUGAR Stroke Of Genius Heavy Duty Kohl The SUGAR Goodies After I placed my order on Fab bag’s website I got an email from them, asking me to choose a makeup product for January month fab bag. There were some lip crayons and Sugar goodies to choose from. I chose SUGAR Lash Bomb Mascara. Also, as a bonus for subscribing for 6 months, I got SUGAR Heavy Duty Kohl in Black. I am yet to test the mascara, but, I already have used their Kohl in the past. Since the Kohl is supposed to be sharpened after some use, a cosmetic sharpener is also shipped with the kohl. MCaffeine Neem Caffeine Face Wash Next I found a blue coloured face wash from MCaffeine, which supposedly contains Neem, Caffeine, Aloe Vera & Taurine. They call it face energizer. I loved the bright blue coloour and refreshing smell of this face wash. Will be trying it out soon. O3+ Mattifying Gel Cream SPF 50 The Fab bag team shipped a sunscreen this time. It is a gel based and mattifying sunscreen which contain SPF 50, O3+ Mattifying Sunscreen SPF 50. Now that’s really heavy duty but desirable for next summer months. Since I have oily skin, a gel based sunscreen is very great option. I have been using O3+ Agelock Vitamin C Booster Serum already which is an impressive product. Hope fully this sunscreen will also fare well on my skin. The Nature’s Co. White Tea Night Cream I have heard a lot about this night cream, but never bought it. Tight now I am hookedo n The Body Shop Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalising Sleeping Cream, but I would sure try this giving the TBS one a break. Wella EIMI Perfect Me BB Lotion I got a hair product too in my current fab bag. It is from Wella. It is a serum type thing in a sachet called BB Lotion for hair. Now brands are being really innovative with their product names, I feel. It’s 6ml, I think, I would be able to get one or, maximum 2 usage out of this for my mid length hair. Will let you know about the after effects. Update: Wella EIMI Perfect Me BB Lotion reviewed here. Overall, this month’s fab bag was a success to me. The products differ very much from the previous bags and seem to be much usable to me. My favourite from the bag are Sugar goodies and the Night Cream. So that was all about my current month’s fab bag. I hope you enjoyed the contents, as I did. I will soon put reviews of the products, I got in here. Take care, XOXO.
