At one end there is a pointy color pigment (kohl) while at the other end, a nice smudger is fixed. The kohl end is covered with an opaque white cap while the smudger end is covered with a transparent plastic cap. The pencil is easy to carry & convenient to use. Plum logo and some information regarding the kajal has been printed in purple color. There is a black band just before the smudger end to indicate the color of the kajal. I actually got the Plum Angel Eyes Kohl Kajal in a combo offer with Plum Nature Studio All day Wear Kohl Kajal, hence got a sharpner as well as nice compact mirror with the deal from amazon. That deal is over now but, another deal is still running on Amazon. It offers a free bag & a sharpner with the kajals. Shade – True Black The color is beautiful black. It’s not matte but does not ultra glossy. Once smudged, the shine goes away. Fragrance & Texture As such, while applying the kajal, I do not smell anything out of it. Only if I really hard to smell the pencil, then there is a very faint sweet smell. it’s very mild. Texture wise, it is very smooth despite of not being ultra creamy. I actually like the fact that it is not ultra creamy since, the ultra creamy ones keep on breaking off every now and then. It does not break off and still glides on my water line & lash line very easily without hurting my eyes. Pigmentation It is a highly pigmented kajal. I really like the intense color pay off it gives. One swipe makes the difference. 2 swipes & that’s all you will ever want. Finish Initially if you are not using the smudger thing, your eyes will have a bit of intensity & shine, but if you opt for more subtle look or smokey eyes, you will get matte and rugged-in look. The texture of the kajal makes it easy to blend the color for a nice black hue. Longevity Plum Angel Eyes Kohl Kajal does not smudge once set for 4-5 hours. I swipe the smudger once or twice on my water line, or use a layer of powder to ensure the kajal stays smudge free for long hours. You can wear it for 4-5 hours in a row even if you have not used the smudger. But after that you might find bits of the kajal under your eye area nothing major though. Likes 100% Natural & free of dyes, preservative & chemicals. Nice black shade. Smooth texture. Contains Jojoba Oil, Macadamia oil and soothing Chamomile extracts, The smudger is very handy to ensure smudge free look (ironic, I know) Quality product. Does not irritate my eyes. Stays intact for 4-5 hours. Can be used as a simple kajal as well as to achieve smokey eyes. Affordable for the quality it offers. Plum offers Vegan products & does not believe in testing on animals. Coming to today’s post, I am presenting 3 Elle 18 Color Pops Matte Lipsticks to you, Pink Kiss P21, Code Red R33, Grape Riot W13 . Elle 18 is very popluar among teens & budget queens. This is a matte range from Elle 18 with fabulous packaging. The range is dirt cheap. Let’s get into the details. Price Rs. 100 for 4.3gm. Dirt Cheap.. huh . Buy here. Packaging Comes in a round black tube with flat top. There is a cartoon of a chic printed on the cap of the lipstick with Elle 18 logo and range name on the lipstick. I like this new flat top packaging of these lipstick. This packaging make the lipsticks more classic in looks. One thing I would like to mention that I need to press the lipstick cover hard, over the bullet, to close it properly. Ingredients Not mentioned. Texture & Smell The texture of the lipstick is creamy matte. Since the texture is creamy hence you do not have to worry about drying out your lips due to matte lipsticks. The lipsticks have very faint chocolaty smell which is weird. But an added bonus. Shade – Pink Kiss P21 It is a nice warm toned pink which will flatter all skin tones. It can be worn to office as well as to casual outings. It is a daily wear color. Shade – Code Red R33 This is a very beautiful shade of red, a deep red. It looks burgundy if layered multiple times. This is a color that would suit evening outings very well. Shade – Grape Riot W13 This is a plum lipstick from the range a nice plum. When I see Maybelline Colorshow Violet Delight, & freak out, only a nice plum lipstick can calm me down. Grape Riot perfectly suits the picture. Pigmentation & Finish The pigmentation of Matte Lipsticks from this range is decent. 2 swipe gives enough colour to pigmented lips. The pigmentation is build able too. Even though the range is matte but when you swipe the lipstick across, there is sheen that you notice at first. The finish is nothing sort of matte. I really get confused if I am getting an original product or not. But this thing I have noticed with all the lipsticks from the matte range of Elle 18. They are not completely utterly matte, they have some sheen to them. They are moisturizing that way. Since I like to have matte finish more, I blot my Elle 18 lipsticks little. Longevity If I follow the proper steps of applying perfect lipstick, they last longer on my lips. Other wise the lipsticks stay only for maximum 2-3 hours. I think that is quite expected out of a under budget lipstick. The lipsticks bid goodbye leaving behind tinted lips. Likes Nice creamy texture. Does not dry out lips. The shades mentioned above will suit every skin tone. Very affordable. Vast range of shades. Liked the new packaging too. Quality product Dislikes Finish is not completely matte. Adds sheen to the finish. Staying power is average. Summary: 4/5 I feel the Elle 18 Color Pops Matte Lipstick range is worth the price. You can experiment with a lot of shades & fun colors. It can be worn as glossy or matte, as you may like. I just wish that Elle 18 also comes up with real matte lipsticks. The Least favourite from my Stash : Maybelline Colorshow Violet Delight 405

My stash is full of Maybelline Colorshow Lipsticks out of which there are some that are close to my heart while there are some which I like to use but does not flatter my skin tone, and there is that one lipstick that I just can’t stand. Violet Delight is the one, that I just can’t apply for even an hour. There is nothing wrong with the lipstick, but it’s just me. This is a plum lipstick. Why I got it in the first place if I do not like it? Well, I got it when I was down with “Plum” fever. I was hoarding everything plum. I got NYX plum palette too, but that was a worthy investment. I am still loving the palette. It has six different shades of plum & burgundy. Okay so coming back to the lipstick. It is plum, very plumy. The only problem is the finish that it gives to me. It is way to glossy for a plum lipstick. The NYX palette has satin finish but it almost set as matte. Plums are good as long as they are matte (atleast to my liking). Texture wise it is creamy as other lipsticks from the range. Glides on lips smoothly giving nice color pay off in the very first swipe. Pigmentation is good & buildable. 2 swipes are enough to cover pigmented lips. This is a dark plum shade hence pigmented lips too get a nice shade. The finish is glossy. I blot the glossiness, but I still do not like the look of this lipstick on my lips. I just do not like it internally. I apply it only when I just think, there must be some way I can look good with this lipstick. But no, I just can’t & I wipe it right away. I just realized I should try it as a creamy eyeshadow. Guest Review by Sreeparna Ganguly Today’s review is going to be on Street Wear Color Rich Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Rouge. The brand Street Wear is a sister concern of internationally renowned makeup brand Revlon. While Revlon sells medium-to-high end makeup items, their budget products are marketed under Street Wear. Street Wear used to have very boring packaging with average product quality until their recent relaunch. This time they are back with bang for sure! Both product’s quality and packaging have been improved to such an extent that they have outperformed many-a-one’s expectations. Now they have included interesting twists by featuring four imaginary ladies (Aisha, Susie, Shanaya and Simeran) on their products. Each of their makeup items comes under the favourite list of any of them. For example, this lip gloss shade is Simeran’s choice. About Street Wear Color Rich Mega Shine Lip Gloss Ultra-glossy, packed with moisturizing properties and a non-sticky formula, the StreetWear Color Rich Mega Shine Lip Gloss will add gorgeous shimmer and color in your life! Price Rs.170 for 7ml. Buy here. Ingredients Not Mentioned Packaging The lip gloss comes in a cylindrical tube with screw-open lid. The lid has a doe-foot applicator attached to it that helps to spread the product on the lips. The body of the gloss tube is made up of transparent plastic just like most other lip glosses but the main attraction lies in its lid. The lid has a depiction of Simeran who likes this shade a lot. The packaging is very simple but fully leakage proof. It is a sleek tube and it is very easy to carry. The packaging is up to the mark for this price range. Texture & Smell Consistency wise the lip gloss is medium; neither too thick nor too runny. It does not contain shimmer particles. It does not feel heavy on my lips either. It does not attract hair at least like some other lip glosses did to me previously. It has a sweet bubblegum fragrance that stays for 15-20 minutes. The scent is quite refreshing in itself. Pigmentation Its pigmentation is comparable to Maybelline’s new Baby Lips Bright Out Loud! collection. In one swipe of the applicator wand, it gives translucent coverage to my medium pigmented lips. If I do 1-2 coats more, the gloss becomes nearly opaque. That means, for naturally pink lips and light to medium pigmented lips it would give good coverage. For heavily pigmented lips it would look like light pink tint. Shade- 11 Rouge Just like the fragrance, the shade rouge is bubblegum pink in colour. The shade has subtle warmth to it. This kind of shade looks flattering on every complexion from extremely cool tones to warm undertones. This shade is suitable for everyday wear, school, college and even for workplaces. Finish As it is a lipgloss, the finish has to be glossy. The finish is perfect for using on bare lips as well as for using on top of matte lipcolours. Longevity It survives upto 2-3 hours without meals. The staying power, my opinion, is nice considering the price point. My Experience After constant lip moisturization and exfoliation, my lip pigmentation problem has lessened to certain extent. I have medium to normal pigmented lips now. On my lips this lip gloss, when applied on very less quantity, gives an illusion of naturally pink lips. It gives a moisturizing effect to my pouts and makes them look fuller. I like to apply lipglosses with wand to the central area of the lips and then spread it with my ring finger. At times I apply a single coat of this product on my bare lips and go out like that. When I want to doll up my matte lipsticks, I run the gloss-wand over the matte lip colour. I have used it as cream blush sometimes. It blends well with my flesh colour and makes my cheeks pink in health! Likes Nice bubblegum pink shade Does not feel heavy if used in correct proportion Looks good on everyone irrespective of skintone Travel-friendly sleek packaging Fresh fragrance Dislikes No usage instruction or ingredient list included Summary-4.85/5 I would suggest this true pink lip gloss to anyone (with any skin tone) who is in want of a good quality budget-friendly ‘colour+care’ type of lip gloss for everyday purposes or for parties.

I recently received SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Tan Fan 03 . I won an Instagram contest held by SUGAR. The contest was about their Liquid Lipstick longevity. You must be knowing about it, if you are following me on Instagram. SUGAR gave away Liquid Lipsticks as the prize. SUGAR asked me to choose my shade from Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick. It was really hard to choose one shade since all the shades are so desirable. I already have Rethink Pink which is very adorable. At last, I zeroed on Sauve Mauve & Tan Fan. You won’t believe, I actually tossed a coin to choose one shade among the two. Before getting my hands on this lipstick, I was thinking to put it in the giveaway I am going to host soon on HOG. I also thought this is going to be a nude shade. But to my surprise, it was a fabulous plum shade. Boy, I am so smitten. I already have a plum palette from NYX.It covers all my plum needs. I thought I am never going to need another plum shade any time soon, since it has all the plums including maroons. But what I knew. The NYX palette has satin finish, while the Smudge Me Not range presents Liquid Lipsticks which give matte finish. I would prefer a matte lipstick over a satin one, any given day. When I first applied this on my lips I was so lost in determining the actual color of this liquid lipstick. I was like, Oh My God, I have never worn such a beautiful lipstick ever. Trust me, this is one of the beautiful plum shade lipstick ever. Price Rs. 499. SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Tan Fan 03 The shade is brownish plum, my kind of plum. It is less of mauve and more of browns. Just the perfect blend. This shade will suit every skin tone, be it fair or dusky. The shade would never fail to impress. This shade can be worn at any time & at any occasion. It can be worn daily in office too because it gives matte finish. You won’t look like you are wearing tons of color. It gives a clean look to face. To bring out your party face while wearing this shade on your lips, I would suggest to throw on some subtle plum eye shadow on your eyes. Pigmentation SUGAR, has some magical wand for sure as this brand always comes out with highly pigmented & quality products. I am so impressed with every product I have ever used from SUGAR. As always, SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Tan Fan 03 is highly concentrated & pigmented. I take small amount on the tip of the applicator that comes with this liquid lipstick, and dab it at the middle of my lips, later swiping it all over my lips. This achieves the full fledged colored lips for me. Formula The formula is creamy, smooth & fast drying. So I make sure to be quick with the application, otherwise, I would get some uneven application. Once the liquid is set, I am free to eat, talk or take pout selfies 🙂 I am right now wearing Tan Fan on my lips while sipping on to my tea and there are no lip stains on my white tea cup. How cool is that. Trust me I feel really embarrassed whenever I am out dining and leave lip stains behind. This lipstick does not embarrass me . Longevity SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Tan Fan 03 is no less in performance also when I compare it too Rethink Pink which lasts so well that I won that Instagram contest. It does not go anywhere until next 6-7 hours. Touch ups are required only when you have to have your main meals. It can survive mini meals or sips very well. Finish The lipstick gives matte finish. The formula is quick drying hence you need to work fast with the application. Once set, it does not bleed or smudge, even when tried to. If you are not accustomed to wearing liquid lipsticks, this lipstick might feel little uneasy due to it’s dry finish. You should wear a clear lip balm before you go ahead with matte lipstick be it from any brand. Wearing a lip balm underneath a lipstick is the basic lip care & most of the time does not interfere with the finish of the lipstick. That was all about SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Tan Fan. These days I have been wearing BB/CC Creams most of the times. I do not like to wear foundation that much now. And why one would wear a foundation when BB/CC creams are so amazing. These days I have been using Lakme 9 to 5 CC Cream & Garnier BB Cream alternatively. Market is full of BB & CC creams. It’s just so hard to choose. Till now, I have tried BB/CC creams from Ponds, Garnier, Maybelline, Stila, Clinique, and maybe few more that I can not recall right now. So I can say, I have a real taste of many BB/CC creams out there. Some of them were good for oily skin/ some would suit dry skin better. Some provided coverage while others would give sheer glow. It’s a matter of choosing the one for you, the right one. I never hesitate from experimenting with stuff, I know that’s bad and can harm my skin, but I just can’t give up this habit of mine. I got to get my hands on if I see a new product launch. That’s one of the main reasons I started High On Gloss to blabber about my beauty purchases. Hope you don’t mind. Hope you enjoy the review. About Lakme 9 To 5 Complexion Care Cream- All In 1 Skin Stylist This complexion care cream instantly moisturizes, brightens skin while evening out skin tone and giving a fresh look to your face. This new version of CC Lakme cream is inspired from the trends at Lakme India Fashion Week. This is termed as skin stylist to give your skin the goodness of your daily skin along with the right amount of makeup to make you look fresh every day. The cream is All In One for your daily needs. It also contains SPF 30 PA++ to protect skin from Sun. Price Rs. 299 for 30g. Buy here. Ingredients Lakme 9 To 5 CC Cream Shades The cream comes in only two shades- Beige & Bronze. Now that’s kind of a deal breaker. Since The two are really extreme shades & the beauties that whose skin color lie in between these shades, get really hard time getting a match. I got Beige, since Bronze makes my skin look orangish. I have wheatish skin tone. Packaging There is slight change in the packaging of the new CC cream from Lakme. Lakme has relaunched this CC cream under Lakme 9 to 5 range hence it calls for new packaging too. The cream is enclosed in a hot pink card box packaging on which every single detail about the CC cream has been mentioned. Inside you find an opaque rose gold tube with rose gold-silver cap at the opening. The opening of the tube is very narrow. So I can really control the amount of the product. I like the packaging of this relaunched cream better than its earlier avatar. Texture & Smell This is one of the driest CC cream that I have ever used. This is so thick in texture that I sometimes find it difficult to blend it out perfectly like other BB/CC creams. I liked how Stila/Ponds/Garnier BB cream blend. If I take some product, dot it over my face and try to blend, it takes a lot of effort and the finish is not even too. I mix my Clean n Clear Moisturizer to ease the blending. Mixing with moisturizer also gives a subtle glow. Lakme has not changed the smell of this cream. It is still the same- mild & flowery sweet. I like it. My Experience With Lakme 9 To 5 CC Cream I have tried the older version of this cream & the newer version too. Lakme has came up with increased levels of SPF in this CC cream. Earlier this Cream had only SPF 20 but now it comes with SPF 30 PA++, which is a bonus. The raised level of SPF might be attributed to the thickness of this cream and the white cast that it gives. Yes there is a lot of white cast associated with this CC Cream. I never noticed this white cast in the Bronze shade, but the Beige one, surely has a lot of white cast to offer. I have wheatish skin tone, for which Beige is not a perfect match. This is a bit lighter than my actual skin tone. But, after few minutes when this CC cream is all set, I do not feel any weirdness in my skin tone. I like to see the matte glow that it gives me. Skin looks great for sure. It is not very good at moisturization part. Dry skin would need to layer on some heavy moisturizer before putting this CC Cream. Even I slather bit of my moisturizer on my oily skin before putting this up so that I can blend it well. Mixing this CC cream with light lotion works the best with this co The coverage that it offers is decent. It evens out my skin well and hides minor imperfections. Major things like big pimples or dark circles need a concealer. My oily skin stays matte for about 5-6 hours. The glow stays for long too. I am really impressed with this CC Cream. I can wear it every day (that’s what I have been doing these days). Sadly, it yields white cast though. Likes Suitable for oily to combination skin types. Gives matte finish & lasts for about 5-6 hours. Evens out skin tone hiding minor imperfections. Contains SPF 30 PA++. Affordable. No breakout to my oily & acne prone skin. Dislikes Does not provide enough moisture to skin. Sometimes, it’s tricky to blend because of its thick texture. Gives bit of white cast. Only 2 shades available. Summary : 3.5/5 Oily skinned beauties will definitely like it for it’s long lasting matte finish. Dry skin beauties can mix it with moisturizer to blend it beautifully giving a healthy glow to face. It evens out skin tone while hiding minor perfections. Creates a matte makeup base. Lakme should launch more shades for this CC cream. I shall be back with the reviews of more BB/ CC creams soon. Hello, Gorgeous Girls. I am back with another lipstick review. I got this lipstick in my recent Fab Bag. This is a new brand to me. I never heard about the brand- Seduction Las Vegas (SLV), before Fab Bag introduced it to me. I was not impressed with the packaging though. But seeing a brand new lipstick, I could not hold back for long. I opened the packaging & applied it on my lips. Let me tell you how was my experience with this lipstick. About Seduction Las Vegas Lipstick Seduction Las Vegas is famous for it’s nail colors. Now it’s bringing it’s lipstick range too. Seduction Las Vegas Lipsticks are highly pigmented & creamy textured, while giving moisture to your lips for smooth & semi matte finish. The lipsticks are Vitamin E enriched. Price The lipsticks are very easy on pocket. Priced at Rs. 180. The packaging is very matte. The packaging looks little flimsy. Shade – Nude Love 06 I have been hoarding a lot of bold colors. Fab Bag asked me to choose my shade for this lipstick range, I went for Nude Love. I have a secret crush for nude lippies. I am glad, I chose this shade. It is peachy brown shade, my type of nude. Even though the finish is semi matte, I can make it look totally matte by blotting it with a tissue if I want. But I do not blot it right away since it loses it’s glossiness after a hour or so. And after that my lips look more beautiful with peachy brown tint on my lips. Texture The texture of this lipstick is very creamy & smooth. I like how it feels on my lips. It does not feel waxy. The quality is good. The brand claims that it is enriched with Vitamin E, which I think is a plus point. This surely moisturizes my lips instead of drying them. Pigmentation The pigmentation of this lipstick is decent. It gives nice color pay off. The color shows well even on pigmented lips. The color can be built further on without making lips looking patchy. I apply at max 2 coats for perfect color on my lips. Finish The finish of this lipstick is semi matte. There is no utterly glossiness, but a bit of sheen is present. I generally prefer matte lipsticks. I blot my glossy lipsticks. I mostly wear it as it is since it loses its glossiness within an hour. Longevity Even though it loses it’s glossiness within an hour but it never loses it’s color. It provides nice tint to lips which stays for 3-4 hours on my lips. This totally works for me. I can have in between meals and still flaunt tinted lips. How cool is that? Likes Moisturizing on lips. Beautiful shade- Nude Love. Very very affordable. Lasts for 3-4 hours. Dislikes Flimsy packaging. Loses sheen after an hour. (not a con for me) Summary : ❤❤❤❤ This is a new range of lipsticks which are highly affordable but with quality product. The shade Nude Love, from SLV, is very nice peachy brown shade, makes a perfect nude color. The lipstick is moisturizing and enriched with Vitamin E. Would like to try more shades from this range. Lakme 9 to 5 Eye Color Quartet in Silk Route : Swatches & Review

Guest Review by Sreeparna Ganguly Today I am reviewing the Silk Route Eye Color Quartet from my all time favourite brand Lakme. This eyeshadow palette is not a new launch; it used to come in Lakme’s Fantasy range I think. Now the brand has worked on the formula and relaunched it in their 9 to 5 range. Though I like eye shadows, they are not included in my everyday makeup essentials. That is why I opted for this small palette where I can get the basic festive eye colours to match my ethnic wardrobe. After a lot of testing today I have come up with the review. Keep reading to know how it worked on me. About Lakme 9 to 5 Eye Color Quartet in Silk Route A versatile quartet of high intensity powders that color shape and highlight the eye. How To Use Use applicator to smooth-on shade over crease of eyelid. Blend outwards to merge with skin. Use one colour. Combine three or use all four. Go ahead. Experiment. Use dark shade only to line your upper eyelid, in a fairly thin line along the upper lashes. Use the medium shade for the crease. Use the lightest shade for the area under the eyebrow. Price Rs.550 for 7gm. Buy here. Ingredients Not Mentioned Packaging The 4 eyeshadows of this quartet is fixed in a rose-gold plastic square pan with transparent plastic lid. When you open up the lid, you will find a square shaped see-through cellophane flap to protect the shadows. The palette also has a small compartment where a tiny sponge-tip applicator is provided. The entire palette comes wrapped in a rose-gold cardboard slide-open outer cover. This cover contains most of the useful information regarding the product. Overall the packaging is sturdy, compact and very much travel-friendly. Shade & Texture- Silk Route As it is a quartet we are getting 4 eye shadows here. There is no way to distinguish them individually because company has not provided any name or number as such. For ease of understanding, I have marked them with numbers from 1 to 4. Let’s check out the colours one by one. Shade-1. This eye colour is a light pink with rose-gold pearly sheen. I did not keep my expectation too high for this shade but it stunned me with its awesome pigmentation and blending capability. The shade has golden tone to its shimmer particles that makes it suitable for majority of Indian complexion. Shade-2. This one is bronze gold. The ‘bronziness’ adds royalty to this shadow. Again pigmentation is superb. Shade-3. Now, this one is my least favourite from this palette. Not for the shade, for the texture. It’s a gorgeous pink shade with rose-gold fine shimmer. The shade looks flattering on everyone regardless of skin’s undertone. It, however, has a peculiar clinging tendency. To take out the product from the pan I need to literally scratch the surface. But once it is placed in the eyelids it shows its exact colour and does not crease a bit. Shade-4. This shade is a perfect steel grey colour with finely dusted shimmer particles. It is the darkest shade from this palette and is very pigmented. The shades 1, 2 and 4 are buttery smooth in texture that makes the application and blending process very easy. I have not experienced any fallout issues with any of the eye shadows of this palette. Fragrance This eye palette has a very faint medicinal smell. It goes off immediately after application. Pigmentation Every shade of this eye palette is quite pigmented and buildable. Even the light shades show their true colour on my pigmented eyelids in 2 swipes. The colours can be intensified further with 1-2 more swipes. The pigmentation is highest with wet application. Finish All the eye colours of this palette look shimmery in the palette but they give satiny finish in the eye. Longevity The staying power of the eye shadows is not bad in dry weather. They stay as it is for 3-4 hours without any eye primer. Then they start to fade little by little. With a perfect base beneath, the staying power is increased by 1-2 hours. My Experience I have experimented a lot with this palette. I used the shadows as per the instruction but it somehow did not suit my eye shape. So, I came up with my own eye makeup looks after a number of trials and errors. Shade-1 is pretty similar to Kareena Kapoor Khan’s eye lid shade in Lakme Eyeconic Advertorial. So, I kind of copy that minimalistic eye look for my daytime look. I use it all over the lid with dramatic winged liner. The 2nd and 3rd shade can be used like the 1st shadow. When I want to define my eyes, I keep them as the lid colour and for the outer V, I use the 4th shade. I love to create smokey eyelook with the 4th shade. As this quartet lacks a matte crease colour, I mix a darker shade pressed powder with a coral toned matte blush to come up with my own crease eye shadow. Likes Pigmentation and staying power is impressive considering price Buildable colours No fallout Warm toned colours that suit Indian complexion Helps to create a number of eye looks from minimal to dramatic Dislikes Shade 3 is quite hard to work with No matte crease shade is provided Ingredient list is not mentioned Summary-4.75/5 Overall I find Lakme 9 to 5 Silk Route quartet a beginner friendly compact eye shadow palette with highly pigmented satin finish shades. Incolor Matte Me Ultra Smooth Matte Lip Cream – Burnt Orange 419 : Swatches & Review

Hi, How’s your Monday going on girls? I remember, I used to feel like a Zombie on Monday mornings when I used to be a part of the corporate life. Sometimes I really miss it. I miss the hectic deadlines, the pressure, the appraisal times, the anxiety to be a part of a new project… wow. Life was so full of different things back then. Life is still full, but the concerns are different. Now I do not want to miss out a new lipstick launch, or a new fashion trend. This is more exciting, isn’t it? Moving on, I am going to share my views on a lip cream from Incolor under the range Matte Me Ultra Smooth Matte Lip Cream. Actually my little sister got it, but she did not like the loud color (Burnt Orange). She gave it to me. I too am not much into Orange lipsticks right now (there was a time when I got obsessed with orange lipsticks though). Fashion trends says that this year is going to be about bold lip colors, so I am expecting to see more of orange, pink & red. But I am just not over nude lipsticks yet. Never mind. We will see about that. Coming back to this lipstick this is Orange a very bright orange and it is a lip cream. I think you guys have got really accustomed to using lip creams by now since every brand is coming out with lip creams now. Let’s get to know about this product form Incolor. About Incolor Matte Me Ultra Smooth Matte Lip Cream Incolor also presents you the lip cream range which is ultra smooth on lips and gives ultimate matte finish. The lip creams are highly pigmented and lasts long on lips. The lip creams also does not transfers to other objects that touches your lips. You are in for a treat since the lip creams are very affordable too. Price The price varies from Rs. 199 to 299. Offline these lip creams are cheaper while online, the price is hiked. Buy here. Ingredients Packaging The lip cream comes in a transparent plastic tube with a black matte applicator fitted at the top. The packaging is very simple and practical. Since the tube is transparent it’s easy to spot the color of the lip cream. The applicator brush that it comes with the lip cream, is nice and I can use it to outline my lips too since it’s pointy. Incolor is printed at the tube as well on the black applicator. At the back of the tube, ingredients are also mentioned. The packaging is sleek & travel friendly since it is leak proof. Shade – Burnt Orange 419 This is a very bright orange. It is a beautiful & bold shade. It will suit mostly fair skin tones. I think dark skin tones might get wash out wearing this. But wearing it subtle makes it look like little rusty and that is wearable by all skin tones. Texture, Smell & Taste It is a thick & fine textured lip cream. It applies on lips very easily despite of the thick consistency. Initially the lip cream looks really glossy. It takes little time to set down and dry completely. Later also there is some shine on lips but nothing glossy. When I apply little bit extra lip cream, my lips feel little sticky. There is practically no smell or taste out of the lip cream. Pigmentation Thick consistency ultimately results in high pigmentation. All I need is one swipe across my lips & I am set with perfect color on my lips. Due to thick texture it takes little time to dry off and set as matte. Longevity The lip cream does not transfer. Not until I really force it to. Hence it lasts really long on my lips. I can have mini meals while wearing it, and it won’t smudge or transfer. I have worn it for 4-5 hours at max in a stretch without any touch ups. I think that is very impressive. Dislike The only thing I do not like about this lip cream is that it really sticks to my lips like Maybelline Super Stay range and it takes a lot of efforts to come off. I need a good makeup remover to take it off completely off my lips. Summary : ❤❤❤❤ Overall, this is a nice range, if you really wanting to try out lip creams. There are some nice shades that I would like to try out from this range, specially some dark colors. If you can spot an Incolor store offline it would be better. I no way need a lip balm beneath this range of lipsticks from Maybelline. I think the formula is widely appreciated by the lipstick lovers. I also like the parallel line of these lipsticks known as Creamy- Matte range.
