I hope SUGAR does not sue me for leaking this out 🙂 . I just got an email from SUGAR about early access to their new launch, SUGAR As Nude As It Gets SPF 15 Compact. I could not contain my excitement and thought I should let you guys know about this new product from SUGAR. I am a fan of SUGAR Cosmetics. Their products are awesome. Every single product, be it a lip color or eye liner, stands out among it’s competitors in the same range. Even I was wondering why SUGAR has not come up with face products, and here it is the very first product from the brand. I do not have any technical information about the product except the SPF factor that it states in the name. SUGAR has not started selling it yet on their website, but if you buy SUGAR products worth more than 1400 bucks, you can get one absolutely free, just right away. How cool is that? As far I know, the compact comes in 3 shades only as of now – 01 Latte – suitable for Porcelaine /Fair complexion 02 Cappuccino – suitable for Light Wheatish complexion 03 Macchiato – suitable for Wheatish to Dusky complexion Enjoy the only photographs of SUGAR As Nude As It Gets Compact, that SUGAR released… So, what I am going to do now? Hello Again. I know you must be feeling like I have been reviewing a lot of SUGAR cubes these days, but I just can’t help it. I want to share my excitement with you people. All the products from SUGAR are really fab. They deserve appreciation. I like to use colored eye liners & kajals. Blacks are too basic & monotonous. Though I loved using black Kajal from SUGAR, but when I laid my hands on the twist & shout kajal range, I chose “Still Got The Blues”, because, I already have too many black kajals/liners. I want SUGAR to come up with more shades in this twist packaging as it is easy to use & I do not have to worry about sharpening the product before using it. Though the creamy tip is not really pointed, but at least there is no need to sharpen it, every single time. Let’s find out more about this creamy & colored kajal from SUGAR Cosmetics. About SUGAR Twist And Shout Fadeproof Kajal SUGAR listened to our requests and came up with the twist to open version of it’s creamy kajals and that too in two shades. It’s creamy consistency & preservative free formula makes it wearable on water line as well as on lash line. The kajal is designed such a way that you get a firm hold on the stick while applying it. Packaging The kajal stick comes in the signature packaging of SUGAR Cosmetics. The kajal comes in an abstract sleek & long card box suitable to store a pencil. The colored kajal has multi faceted packaging. The tip part of the kajal is blue colored describing it’s shade. To give your hands a firm grip of the product for precise application, there is a matte black band from where you are supposed to hold the kajal to apply it. Rest of the stick is black & shiny with a dark blue colored twister at the end to open & close the product out of the stick. Logo of SUGAR, shade name & number are printed on the cardbox as well as on the stick. Variants There are only two shades available in this range. 01 Black Velvet – Black 02 Still Got The Blues- Dark Blue Shade- 02 Still Got The Blues As the name suggests this is a pretty blue shade. Dark Blue to be precise. This is a versatile shade, to suit all the skin tones & eye colors. The shade does not have any shimmers & sets off in semi matte finish. Texture & Smell The texture of the kajal is very creamy & smooth. It is easy to be worn on the eyes be it water line or lash line. Actually it is too creamy that it breaks off. I mostly break it whenever I wear it. Also I just can not maintain the tip of the kajal due to it’s creamy consistency. There is practically no smell out of this smell. Pigmentation It is decently pigmented. And the pigmentation is buildable too because of it’s creamy consistency. I need 2 swipes at max to get the desired color pay off. The final finish is semi matte which can be converted into matte by applying powder eye shadow over it. Longevity I have worn this kajal on my eyes for 6-7 hours at a stretch. I have oily eye lids and I also wear eye cream. I generally wear a primer before applying a liner, so that the color lasts for long hours. This kajal also stays for long on my eyes. The liner on my lash line stays intact for 6-7 hours, while on my water line, it stays for 4-5 hours after which it smudges little bit. If I apply a powder eye shadow over it, the color stays intact for long hours. Summary : 4.5/5 Overall, I like this colored stick because of its creamy texture, nice color pay off & affordability. The retractable packaging is a bonus. But I have to be really careful while applying it, as it breaks off easily because of its creamy texture. I think this is a good grab for those quick mornings when you don’t have much time to get ready.

Now this is some really heavy duty kohl or kajal as you may like to call it. I received it back in my January’s Fab Bag. Since then I have been using it. Whenever I feel like putting on some kajal I reach for this kohl. SUGAR is a new brand but have always impressed me with it’s products except the Lash Mob Mascara, that was not something I would rave about. I love it’s Liquid Lipsticks and the matte ones too. Every thing is just so perfectly & insanely pigmented and lasts long. Let me tell you why I skip my HG liner for years to wear this kohl. About SUGAR Stroke Of Genius Heavy Duty Kohl This is one of the most pigmented, creamy & smooth kohl I have ever used. SUGAR really nailed it this time. It gives the perfect black colour with just one swipe. SUGAR claims the formula to be wax based & waterproof hence no tugging rubbing or smudging for long hours. Price Rs. 499. Buy here. Ingredients Iron Oxides, Black 2, Mica, Ferric Ferrocyanide, Dimethicone, Synthetic Wax, Silica, Stearyl Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Trimethylsiloxysilicate/Dimethiconol Crosspolymer, Octadecene, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Isoceteth-10 Packaging It comes in a matte black pencil form with a black cap covering it’s mouth. The pencil is also shipped with a black coloured sharpener (made in Germany) since it is not a retractable pencil and needs to be sharpened very often. SUGAR’s logo is printed on the pencil in white colour also the kohl’s name & shade is printed horizontally. On the sharpener also, ‘SUGAR’ is embossed. The simplest packaging of all. Texture & Smell The kohl is very creamy and smooth since it is wax based formula. It glides on my water line and eye lid way too smoothly leaving intense colour behind. It surely is a stroke of genius. There is practically no smell out of the kohl. Shade – 01 Back To Black This is one of the blackest kohl I have ever used. The blackest black that I can ever ask for. Only one swipe and I find that intense colour on my lids/waterline. I wish SUGAR comes up with more shades with this formula. Pigmentation As I have mentioned above the piece is highly pigmented. I do not need another stroke, it’s that heavenly pigmented. I have tried layering up the products many times, but it does not alter the final finish. Finish The finish of this kohl is semi matte it’s not fully matte or fully glossy, it’s something in between, works for me. In case you desire to have a complete matte finish, you can dab a black matte eye shadow over it. Longevity It does stay for 7-8 hours without any smudge. Then I take it off. I have never worn it over 7-8 hours. The formula is waterproof but it is easy to take it off with my regular face wash and water. But I prefer removing my eye makeup with little baby oil. ** I have worn this kohl here. Likes Creamy & smooth texture. One swipe gives intense colour. The blackest black shade. Intense pigmentation. Does not smudge. Stays on eyes for long. Easy to take it off. Sleek packaging. Dislikes It needs to be sharpened with every use otherwise I can not draw precise lines. The sharpening leads to wastage of product which makes it little pricey. Summary : ❤❤❤❤❤ The blackest black and smooth textured kohl. This surely makes it a must have product for me. I used to love gel eye liners, but this is more convenient if I ignore the sharpening thing. SUGAR should come up with a retractable packaging with same formula and more shades. Mascara is one of those basic things that a girl, who is even a little bit into makeup, must have one. For that awake look, girls go gaga over their HG mascara. An ideal mascara should be good enough to give a curl, length & volume simultaneously. I too like to use one, since I have small and deep set eyes. A mascara is essential to look sharp. In my January’s Fab Bag, I received a mascara from SUGAR Cosmetics as a bonus since I subscribed for 6 months straight. I am a big fan of Sugar Lipsticks. The day I received Sugar Liquid Lipstick, I could not keep away and I have been wearing it every day. Never used any mascara from Sugar until now since Maybelline The Falsies is doing fine for my lashes. Let me tell you how the mascara fared on my lashes. About SUGAR Lash Mob Limitless Mascara SUGAR claims that this is a magic wand to turn you from Plain Jane to Queen Bee. It promises to provide a clump free formula while giving volume to your lashes with out making your eyes feel heavy. The mascara wand has micro bristles to coat each and every lash and giving dramatic eyes. The formula is clump free means only volume without clumsy lashes. The formula is free of parabenes, talc & artificial fragrances. Even taking off this mascara is super easy. Only massaging with warm water will loosen up the formula. And without rubbing your eyes you can take it off completely. Price Rs. 699 for 9ml. Buy here. The mascara is packed in a all black mascara tube with applicator wand at top. The outer packaging contains the mascara name and ingredients while the mascara tube holds only the name of the mascara and the shade which is “Black With A Bang” in white colour. The packaging is matte and classy. Shade – 01 Black With A Bang SUGAR released only one shade of this mascara- 01 Black With A Bang. May be it plans to release more shades in future. It is Black as the shade name screams loudly. I feel it is not the blackest black that you would want your black mascara to be. The colour could have been more intense. Texture & Smell It is creamy and smooth textured mascara, goes on eye lashes smoothly if I can manage to take out enough product from the mascara tube. I feel the mascara is little dried up or something is wrong with my piece. It does not smell strong but it has hints of a chemically smell. My Experience I have used it 4-5 times by now. After using L’Oreal’s mascara for a long time, I appreciate Maybelline The Fasies a lot. I like what it does to my lashes without making them feeling heavy. I was expecting the same thing from SUGAR’s mascara too. The formula is non clumpy, looks natural also does not make my eye lashes feel heavy, but it lacks the ability to provide that much claimed volume or high drama. The formula is lightweight and hence fails to deliver the volume claim too. Rest what you expect form a mascara. It’s good to wear nothing if it cannot provide you even little volume or length. It does not make much difference. Sorry SUGAR, but this mascara could not impress me, while I totally adore your lippies. Likes Lightweight & non clumpy formula. Looks natural. Sleek & classy packaging. Formula is free of parabenes, talc & artifical fragrance. Dislikes High on claims, low on delivery. Does not provide much volume. Pricey. Summary : ❤❤❤ Even though the formula is parabene free, lightweight & clump-free, this mascara could not impress me much. First it’s pricey, second it does not deliver that much promised dramatic eyes. I would not recommend this mascara. Don’t want to use a mascara? Grow those lashes naturally. Ciao.

I just could not stop my self from smearing my lips in Rethink Pink as soon as I opened my February fab bag and saw SUGAR Smudge Me Not Lipstick in it. I already knew I will be getting the recently launched Smudge Me Not lipstick in my fab bag since Fab Bag asked me to pick my shade few days back. I was just waiting for my fab bag to arrive so that I could see my self what is so good about this new girl in town. As I was telling you that I wore it in the morning and did not care to retouch until later in the evening. Yes it is that intense. So I decided I must show this bubbly girl to you as this range really needs review since it’s new. Also Read Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Tan Fan About SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick SUGAR recently launched this and has been constantly emailing the lipstick lovers about this new launch. No doubt we are all curious since the name itself says Smudge Me Not. SUGAR claims that this is one coat wonder and so intense that your lipstick will stay longer than your longest day. Now that’s huge claim. The lipstick is liquid that sets off in matte finish. SUGAR shouts for all the matte lipstick lovers to try stunning 10 beautiful shades. Price Rs. 499 for 4.5ml. Ingredients Packaging The packaging of this liquid lipstick does not look fancy at first sight, but when I really looked at it closely, it looked like I am actually seeing a lipstick enclosed in a transparent cover. But it is not a lipstick in bullet, since it is liquid, it is packed in the form of a lip gloss. The liquid lipstick comes in a transparent tube of pigment with applicator wand at the top. Smudge Me Not is printed horizontally on the transparent tube. The shade no and name are also printed at the bottom of the tube. Since the colour tube is transparent I can see the quantity and colour of the lipstick. The applicator wand is angled to line the lips while giving them intense colour. The applicator is smooth and gives perfect application. The tube has a rounded small opening for the wand to go inside the tube. The lipstick is very tiny. It will fit in the palm of my hand. Taste, Texture & Smell Initially there is no taste as such, but after the lipstick has set in matte finish there is little powdery feeling on my lips. It feels like I have literally painted my lips. Texture of the lipstick is really smooth but little thick so I have to immediately apply the lipstick before it’s dry. It dries up really quickly so messy application would ruin the look. I line up my lips with the wand provided with the lipstick and then quickly fill in between. There is a sweet yet chemically smell in the tube but it’s really mild and does not bother me until I sniff into the tube. It is not horrible as Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream. Pigmentation This lipstick reminded me of Maybelline Super Stay Range. This liquid lipstick is insanely pigmented. I have to be really careful while applying it so that I do not stain my skin in an unwanted manner. SUGAR already points out that it’s very pigmented so you need to apply this on your lower lip first and then press your lips together. But I am not sure if that would give an even application. So I just go the old way. I apply it as I apply a lip gloss. Pick as little as you can and start applying from the middle of you upper/lower lid and all the way around. Go for another swipe if required. That gives me perfect application. Shades SUGAR launched 10 beautiful shades in this particular range. Even though the shade range is limited, SUGAR has tried to touch every colour family. Following are the shades of this range: 01 Brazen Raisin , 02 Brink Of Pink, 03 Tan Fan, 04 Plum Yum, 05 Rust Lust , 06 Tangerine Queen , 07 Rethink Pink, 08 Wine & Shine, 09 Sauve Mauve, 10 Drop Dead Red. Shade – Rethink Pink 07 It is a beautiful pink shade which is going to suit every skin tone and will be loved by every one. My Camera did not do justice to the colour as it mostly looked more of Mauve, but it is really deep pink which can be toned down to subtle pink. If I use the colour in full throttle I get very deep colour, but I can use just a hint of the colour to get a perfect hint of pink which I prefer for every day look. Finish This is a liquid lipstick setting off in a completely matte finish. The formula is quick dry hence I need to be really quick and precise with the application. Longevity This range is here to stay. The performance is comparable to that of the Maybelline Super Stay Range. You can just apply it in the morning and forget for good 5-6 hours. Even after 5-6 hours you will need to retouch the formula and will be set for another 5-6 hours, while surviving full meals and sips in between. Likes Intense pigmentation. Smooth & quick dry formula. Matte finish. Compact packaging. Long lasting colour. Fabulous shades. Does not dry out lips on its own. Dislikes Limited range of shades. Little powdery finish when it sets off. Summary I think all matte lovers will the formula and the staying power. Some might feel the price is bit high but I feel the performance justifies the price and the compact design. I wish SUGAR comes up with more shades in this range. Hello Friends. Red matte lipsticks! I just can’t say no to a red matte lipstick. When it’s Scarlett O’Hara, Oh boy, no one can dare to say no. This crayon lipstick is way too hot to turn down. I have tried many variants from the Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick range from Sugar Cosmetics but Scarlett O’Hara is my favourite. I also loved Holly Golightly from this range, the tan one. But any time, I would prefer to wear Scarlett O’Hara. Let me tell you why I love it so much. I have used the kohl and mascara from this brand as well as the crayon lipsticks. They are all amazing and performed really well on me. I think this shade is really desirable for all who can’t get enough of Reds. Pigmentation This is one hell of a pigmented lipstick.One swipe or multiple swipe, I can’t tell difference. I try not to mess up the application since, it leaves stains behind due to it’s pigmentation intensity. Finish The finish is completely matte. When I apply this lipstick on my lips, there is little moisture, but the finish is still matte. True to the range name, it is Matte As Hell. Longevity I wear this shade on my lips in the morning and it would stay for good 5-6 hours. I think that defines the longevity of this lipstick very well. I love how it does not change the colour intensity or the even the original colour even after so many hours. The lipstick tend to lose the moisture over time that it initially has. Likes Beautiful shade. Instantly brightens up my face. Intense pigmentation. The colour stays for long hours. Wears off leaving a beautiful tint behind. Sleek packaging. Dislikes It is pricey. It needs to be sharpened. I totally detest sharpening my cosmetics. Limited shades. As the time goes by, the lipstick slowly start drying my lips, nothing major though. Summary This is a crayon lipstick range from SUGAR Cosmetics. The lipstick is highly pigmented and lasts long. The particular shade is very beautiful and a must have of you are Red matte lip colour lover. The price of the lipstick is little high though.
