I am sorry if I am sounding harsh but that’s a truth. Every salon is different, every salon professional is different. Yes they are trained and experienced, but I have had really bad experiences with many of them. Sometimes, I ended up with broken skin, sometimes with unsatisfactory results, and I stopped going to salons for skin treatments or regular facials. Last week I happen to try out Skeyndor Skin Diagnosis Machine which is actually a hand held machine that can diagnosis skin issues such as dehydration, keratin level in skin, wrinkles, acne etc and can accordingly also suggest some products. And I wanted to take it home. Skeyndor Skin Diagnosis Machine Skeyndor is a Spanish skin care brand. The brand is available in high end salons like Geetanjali, Affinity etc. The skin treatments from Skeyndor starts from 2000 and ranges up to 12000. There are various ranges for skin care including Aqua, Thermal, Anti Ageing, Anti Pollution as well as Men care. Skeyndor Skin Diagnosis Machine, is a very compact hand held machine which actually looks like a 90’s landline phone. The machine analyses skin on the basis of 7 essential parameters, Skin Type Hydration Level Pore Size Wrinkle Condition Pigmentation Acne Thickness of Skin The machine gives a reading on all of these parameters step by step on a scale of 0-100. It also tells you if the score your skin scored is good or bad. The machine suggests the kind of products that you could use from Skeyndor to address your skin concerns. How Does Skeyndor Skin Diagnosis Machine Work? Skeyndor Skin Diagnosis Machine is a very compact machine. There is a microscopic camera attached to the machine which is swiped across the skin to get photographs of the skin. These photographs are analysed by the machine and skin’s score is displayed by the machine. The score of skin can be saved by the machine so that it could be compared to post treatment skin condition so that the client could be assured of the efficacy of the treatment. Skeyndor Skin Diagnosis Machine is a machine that is meant to be used by Salons to help their clients figure out their skin conditions. This way a client’s skin can be treated in a better way. For example if the machine points out that the skin needs moisture, dark spot removal and pigmentation treatment, the client could get a relevant treatment at the salon. This way the client won’t feel that the salon is actually forcing a skin treatment, also the client is not entirely dependent on a salon professional’s suggestions. My Experience With Skeyndor Skin Diagnosis Machine I have oily, acne prone & sensitive skin. It’s very tricky to treat using salon products. I am always reluctant to choose a skin treatment. Acne treatments generally dry out my skin horribly, while moisture boost treatments clog my pores. Similarly de-tan treatments could leave my skin oily and irritated. Gel based treatments are not much hydrating while cream based treatments are a big no-no. So I just can’t rely on random human judgment. I need something more scientific. Skeyndor Skin Diagnosis Machine, analysed my skin based on 7 parameters. My skin needed a bit of hydration more and help with kertain buildup (dead skin). Other than that I was relieved to have scored well in terms of wrinkles, pores, acne (surprisingly) and pigmentation. The machine, at the end of the analysis, suggested that few products to use on my skin that would target on the problem areas. Skeyndor Skin Diagnosis Machine is something I would like to get my skin analysed again by. It is a nice tool to actually know your skin from the within and thoroughly. It can help you figure out the problematic areas. Also it can guide you better towards getting the right skin treatments. You can also compare the results before and after getting a skin treatment.  I wish Skeyndor Skin Diagnosis Machine was available in every single salon, for the instance it is only available with some high end and well known salons like Geetanjali, Affinity etc. The machine costs a bomb.
