I somehow missed reviewing this beauty from Za. Well, it’s never too late. So I am going review this serum now. This is the first product I got from Za when Za was launched in India for the very first time. I wanted a moisturizing yet lightweight serum to help me with my dark spots (they never leave me alone… you know?). Later I also laid my hands on Za Perfect Solution Youth Whitening Serum & Za True White Day Cream. I liked the Perfect Solution Youth Whitening in terms of moisturisation, but did not help me much with my dark spots while this True White Ex Emulsion was a good choice in terms of fading my dark spots. Za day cream was good but used to make my face sweat. About Za True White Emulsion This is a feather light, highly moisturizing & whitening lotion. The emulsion contains whitening agent 4MSK which suppresses Melanine production (responsible for dark skin tone). The emulsion is a mix of lotion, essence & emulsion. It works in 3 ways. Helps to whiten skin tone, Brings down dullness while moisturizing skin. The emulsion contains Olive leaf which helps in uplifting skin dullness. While White Lily extracts helps to moisturize skin and keeps it moisturized for 8 long hours. Clarity from dullness Even-Coloured skin tone Continuous moisturised skin Radiant Complexion Price It used to retail at a higher price an year before, but it’s price has been dropped to Rs. 899 for 125ml, now. On one side of the bottle Za Tue While Emulsion has been mentioned, while on the other side How to use has been mentioned. No ingredient list has been provided on the packaging. The bottle has no stopper and has a little wide opening so I have to be very careful every time I use it, otherwise I take out excess of product. The bottle comes in a transparent carton, which contains all the information about the product. It states the features of the product & other important product details. Color, Texture & Smell It is milky white, lightweight & smooth lotion. It feels very luxurious & velvety smooth on skin. It gets absorbed very quickly leaving skin completely moisturized. Only a dollop of the lotion, covers my face and neck. The lotion is highly frag ranted. It smells sweet but chemically & the fragrance lasts for few minutes after application. My Experience This is one of those perfect lotions which give you luxurious feeling and also work the best way for your skin. The very first thing I like about this lotion is how lightweight it feels on skin and gets absorbed into the skin that very instant. I do not need to reapply it be it any season. My skin is moisturized & feels very soft & supple afterwords. Skin does not feel stretchy or does not feel any irritation. Coming to the long term effects, yes it works in lightening the dark spots & evening out skin tone to a great extent. It works a fabulous job in giving a soft glow to the face. As I need a very small amount for each application, the product turns out to be very economical and lasts for 3-4 months. Hence it stands true to all the 3 claims the brand has made about it. – Whitening (erases dark spots), Anti Dullness (brightens skin tone) & Moisturization. I just do not admire the emulsion being highly fragranted. I wish it was either odureless or had little mild smell. Likes Milk like texture. Lightweight & quick absorbing formula. Does not make my face sweat. Works in 3 folds- provides moisture, brightening effect & helps in fading dark spots. Economical. Never breaks my skin. Attractive & sturdy packaging. Dislikes Little strong sweet yet chemically smell. Summary : 4.5/5 I really admire this emulsion for it’s beautiful & quick absorbing formula giving enough moisture to my oily skin (will suit every skin type), brightening my skin tone & helping me fade away dark (acne) spots. The price is little on higher side, but is economical in long term. Hope you too liked this review. I think this is the best lotion that I have ever found to work for my troubled skin. The cap locks with a sharp click and prevents the product inside from spilling. The bottle has a cardboard outer pack which again is colour coded in similar manner. The outer box contains claims, shelf life, elaborate usage instructions etc. The instructions are presented in both written and pictorial format for everyone’s convenience. Overall I find the packaging to be very travel-friendly, leakage-proof and sturdy. Colour, Texture & Smell The serum is basically a colourless and runny liquid. Though it is oil, its consistency is light and non-greasy. It has a very faint floral fragrance. The base note of the scent is similar to other products of the same range. The smell is very short-staying and it goes off within few minutes of application. My Views This hair serum can be applied in two ways; on damp hair and on completely dry hair. I like the first way more so, I apply it after my shampoo-conditioner routine on the day I wash my hair. It is very crucial to decide the correct amount for your hair otherwise the hair may feel limp (if used in excess) or unruly (if used less). When the hair dries completely there are noticeable shine on my hair. Due to the wavy texture, I tend to get tangles very easily. With this on my hair; the tangles are a bit easy to remove. That means less breakage. What I like most about this product is that, the dry and rough ends of my hair look healthier than they actually are if I am using this. But ‘the split ends getting united’ claim is not true. This serum has been able to control my unmanageable frizzy hair to certain extent which is a huge pro for me. Likes Tames frizzes & Reduces tangles. Does not feel heavy. Makes hair look healthier and shiny. Value-for-money product containing sunscreens. Smell is not overpowering Dislikes Not all claims are true. Temporary results Summary: 4.5/5 I would suggest this hair serum to someone who is searching for an affordable hair serum to control unmanageable and tangle-prone hair, add sun protection and shine to it. I was absolutely in love with L’Oreal Paris Absolute Repair Lipidium Serum, until I tested out Streax hair serum which is so much cheaper than the former. I got the Streax hair serum just because the SA pushed. He was insisting on try it once. Since it was not costly, I didn’t mind adding it to my shopping cart. Streax Hair Serum – Vitalized with Walnut Oil Streax hair serum is enriched with natural walnut oil which is known to nourish the hair & enhance its smoothness, keeping hair shiny & manageable all day. Price Rs. 95 for 45ml, Rs. 190 for 100ml. How To Use Work a small amount of the serum in the palm of the hands and apply evenly through damp hair. Reapply any time of the day for added shine & frizz-free hair. Availability Available online and offline. Get on discounted price. Packaging It comes in a light golden coloured transparent plastic pump bottle. Easy to carry and use. Texture, Colour & Smell The texture of this serum is same as that of the L’Oreal Paris Absolute Repair Lipidium Serum. I would describe it clear & runny. The smell is very sweet and pleasant. Once applied to hair, the serum instantly gets absorbed into the hair shaft. My Views I have dry hair ends, I have to use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Still my hair sometimes feel dry and frizzy. Not every hair serum work for me. Actually most of the hair serums fail on my hair. Some serums are so heavily loaded with silicons that my hair just dry out further. This hair serum tames my frizzy and dry hair. Making them manageable till the next hair wash, which is something remarkable for me since not everything works for my hair. I am really convinced that it contains walnut oil and that’s working on my hair, silicons just worsen my hair condition. I don’t think it unnecessarily coats my hair. There is no product build up. I require only 2 pumps of the product and my hair are set. They detangle easily. There are no fly-aways. They are frizz free. Initially it adds shine to the hair, but it does not stay for long. It does not weigh down my hair if I apply little excess product or re apply it later on. All in all, it is a very good hair serum. I am really happy with it. Likes Hair are manageable. Hair feel smooth. Hair detangle easily. The serum tames down the frizz. Contains the goodness of walnut oil. The serum does not weigh down my hair even if I apply it again or in excess. Convenient packaging. Easily available. Very affordable. No product build up on hair strands. Little quantity is required Dislikes The shine does not stay for long.
