Hair fall is a common problem during monsoon. I literally shed hair like a crazy during every rainy season. And then I would start looking out for solutions. I try not to leave any stone unturned and use almost every thing that comes to my mind to control my hair fall. I like to use my custom made hair oil which includes all the potent oils such as castor, almond, jojoba etc along with some essential oils like tea tree & lavender. This season, I did not use this hair oil, rather I kept on using Bhringraj powder hair pack , hair oil from Bliss Of Earth and an Anti Hair Loss Shampoo from Sebamed. In this post, I am going to speak about Sebamed Anti Hair Loss Shampoo. I was using mainly these 3 things, that brought back my peace of mind. Sebamed Anti Hair Loss Shampoo This Anti Hair Loss shampoo is infused with NHE formula, Caffeine & Ginkgo Biloba. The powerful ingredient blend increases blood circulation which stimulates hair growth. The shampoo is soap & alkali free. It maintains the pH level of scalp which protects scalp from fungal infections. It helps to reduce hair loss by activating scalp functions. The shampoo could be used for all hair types. Ingredients Packaging The shampoo is comes in an opaque white bottle with a flip top cap. All the detailing about the product is given on the bottle. Even though the packaging is sturdy & leak proof, a 200ml product is not really someone would want to travel with. Fragrance & Texture Every product I have ever used form Sebamed smells awesome. I am really smitten by the fragrance of this shampoo too. It’s refreshing & mild. It does not irritate my sensitive nose. The shampoo is like a clear gel which lathers well when mixed with water. It is really easy to pour out the product from the bottle & use. How To Use This shampoo could be used for daily hair care. Wet your hair, work a small quantity of shampoo into a lather in the palms of your hands. Leave the shampoo no your scalp for 2 minutes for the active ingredients to work upon your hair condition. Wash the hair massaging the scalp gently. My Experience As I explained above, I was desperate to try something for my falling hair. That’s when I received Sebamed Anti Hair Loss shampoo. I started using it every alternate day on my scalp. I used it in small amounts since, I received 2 samples of 20ml each. Hence I had to decide if the product is effective enough to make a purchase. I liked the fuss free consistency & the smell of course. I feel this is quite a mild shampoo and not like those strong shampoos that are used for hair loss or hair fall. In case I have oiled my hair prior to shampoo, I use some other shampoo first to get rid of the oil and then use a small quantity of Sebamed anti hair loss shampoo. I try to apply it only on my scalp and that too for few minutes before rinsing it off. After shampoo my scalp feels really clean. The shampoo really helped me get rid of the scalp itchiness which I usually develop during monsoon. It is not drying but also not really moisturizing, hence must use a conditioner afterwards. My hair fall has decreased by now. I would say, a combination of this Sebamed shampoo with Bliss of Earth Hair Oil has been working very well for me. I am able to see few new hair on my front hairline, for which I would like to give benefit of doubt to this shampoo. The shampoo contains SLES, it might dry out hair in long run. Sebamed Anti Hair Loss Shampoo lathers very low and this way you tend to use a lot of product which makes you shelling out more money. Will I repurchase this shampoo? I have already ordered the shampoo. The reason is simple, I really want to reverse the hair loss I have suffered due to excessive hair fall. The way the shampoo is working, I feel I would surely be able to regrow my hair back. Summary Sebamed Anti Hair Loss Shampoo is a treatment for hair loss. The shampoo increases blood circulation which stimulates new hair growth. It is gentle and effective in maintaining scalp health. Hence, it works as an effective anti hair loss shampoo if used consistently for few months. It does not dry out hair, but I need to use a conditioner post shampoo on my dry hair. The price is bit steep & it is not SLES free. But I know how desperate I get when I am on the verge of loosing my precious hair. I really can go to any measures. Hello All! Hope you are all doing fine. Sebamed does not need an introduction. It is a leading brand in medicinal skin care of every gender and age. The brand believes in maintaining a pH level of 5.5 for healthy skin. It’s products are gentle and does not destroy skin’s acid mantle. In this post I am going to talk about Sebamed Liquid Face & Body Wash. A wash which is meant for face as well as body. I was provided with the samples of Sebamed Liquid Face & Body Wash by the brand last week, and I have been using the wash since then. I am ready to review the products now. Sebamed Liquid Face & Body Wash This gentle wash contains mild active ingredients that cleanse sensitive and problematic skin.The wash contains a composition of vitamins, allantoin and the active moisturizing Pentavitin® which primarily protects skin from dehydration. The wash maintains the pH value of Skin to 5.5 which strengthens and stabilizes the ecological balance of skin. Soap and Alkali Free Gentle and Effective Deep Cleanses Pores What is Acid Mantle? We have a protective layer on our skin which is known as acid mantle or pH level as we commonly refer to it. This protective layer must never be disturbed to sustain healthy glowing skin. But whenever we use harsh chemicals on our skin in terms of cleansers or lotions, the pH level of our skin definitely gets imbalanced. There are labels on the both sides of the bottle where Sebamed logo is printed along with other information about the product. The packaging is really sturdy & travel friendly since the product is available in travel size too. Fragrance & Texture This mint colored gel based runny face and body wash from Sebamed smells exotic yet subtle. It has quite refreshing smell which make me want to smell it again and again. The smell is non irritating though and also does not longer for long after washing the liquid off the face and body. The gel based liquid wash is quite runny in consistency and lathers well but not extensively. I am fine with it. It does not leave any slippery feeling afterwards which is a plus point. How To Use Wet your face, take out a dollop of the product in your palm, add some water and make some lather out of the duo. Apply it over your face and gently massage for some time. Rinse well with water. Pat dry. My Experience It is a liquid face & body wash. I have tried it in both ways. Since the samples were tiny (only 20ml each), I got greedy and decided to use it as my face wash only, after using it once as body wash. Now the product is almost over, and I feel it is the right time to decide weather or not the product is worth the hype. As A Body Wash Firstly, I like how it smells, it’s really captivating. So when I used it as a body wash, I liked how my body smelled. It was a wonderful bathing experience. Since it does not lather as a body wash should be , I really had to take a lot of it on my loofah to cover my whole body. So I kind of used the half of the 20ml sample in one go. But it cleaned my skin well of sweat, dirt & oil. My skin looked, felt & smelled fresh. I did not feel any stretchy feeling any where, but I still went ahead with a light body lotion. The smell however does not linger on my skin for long. It just vanishes away pretty soon. As A Face Wash I have been using it as my face wash daily since last week. It does not leave behind any slippery feeling after rinse but takes away all the impurities, leaving skin smooth. Sadly, I feel bit of stretchy feeling on my cheeks. That I have always noticed. I would not say it’s nothing major, but obviously noticeable. I pat on some light moisturizer after using it. I think it brightens up my face and calms down my skin after every use. In long term it is something I would love to use for my sensitive skin. Summary Sebamed Liquid Face & Body Wash is a soap free wash for sensitive skin. It maintains the pH level of skin which ensures protection from germs and environmental factors such as pollution. When your skin’s acid mantel is intact, your skin stays healthy and glowy from within. I would like to use it as my daily face wash because of it’s ease of use, texture, consistency and it’s gentle effect on skin. As a body wash, it works great in the fragrance & cleaning section, but I want my body wash to lather nice.
