I have already shared my views over Botanic Love Anti Acne Mask & Botanic Love Grapefruit Lip Balm. I am also using an anti acne soap & body lotion from the brand. But today I am going to speak about Anti Acne Tea Tree Facial Exfoliate from Botanic Love. I twas another gift from the brand I received when I visited the brand last time at TAF. Botanic Love Anti Acne Tea Tree Facial Exfolliant It is a gentle, non irritating, non foaming hydrating exfolliant that removes impurities from within the pores without leaving skin feeling tight, dry or irritated. The added benefit of added anti acne teatree oil provides anti inflammatory action and soothes irritated skin. The gel based exfolliant serves as an antiseptic which deeply cleanses acne causing bacteria, removes excessive oil, dead cells & leaves skin fresh, healthy & revitalized. Price, Packaging & Availability A glass jar of 130gm with a metallic lid comes for Rs. 704. I received a smaller size from the brand. The brand is not widely available online or offline. But you can find the product at iHaat.in Ingredients Cucumber, Thyme, Peppermint, Neem, Basil, Teatree, Kaolin, Aloe gel, Lime & Mint. All natural & power packed. Fragrance & Texture This is a gel based mild exfolliant which looks bit greenish in the jar while clear in hand. It has a nice refreshing & cooling smell. The exfolliants in the gel are quite fine & does not feel harsh on skin or irritate it. My Experience I love using tea tree based skin care. I also use tea tree oil for spot treatment of acne on my face. When Tina from Botanic Love offered this Tea Tree based Exfolliant I was really over joyed. It is not a regular scrub. It is very mild. It has exfolliating jojoba beads but very fine. So it’s like a gentle cleansing of skin. The gel cools down my otherwise hot skin. It gives a nice cooling sensation. Also the refreshing smell fills my nostrils & the massaging effect becomes more exciting. A pea sized amount is enough to cover my face and take off the oil & dirt along with dead cells. The massaging action increases blood circulation which brings a nice glow over face. It leaves skin fresh & bright without drying it out. There is no stretching feeling afterwords. Summary : ❤❤❤❤/5 Botanic Love is a nice brand. It is an organic brand which uses natural ingredients without using preservatives. I have loved most of the products that I used from the brand. Anti Acne TeaTree Exfolliant is a nice gentle, non foaming, non drying facial cleanser. It does not dry out face nor does it irritate skin. It leaves skin bright & beautiful. I am so touched. Moving on to the post, I am going to talk about Ma Earth Botanicals Rose Facial Scrub, which is my very first product from the brand. This is relatively new brand to me. I recently started hearing about this from fellow bloggers. I felt really tempted to try it’s products. I was lucky to find this brand listed on Smytten under free trials. So I ordered my free trial & the very third day I was able to lay my hands on this scrub. Ma Earth Botanicals Rose Facial Scrub “Ma’s passion is to enhance and encourage a more natural and holistic path towards health, beauty and overall well-being.” All our products are handcrafted and contain no artificial ingredients, chemical preservatives, synthetic additives, artificial fragrances, SLES, parabens and sulphates. They are made from the highest quality 100% pure essential oils, sustainably sourced vegetable oils and unrefined butters that are cold pressed to preserve their natural goodness and healing properties. Rose Facial Scrub, is a luxurious blend of ground rose petals, oats & essential oils. Use this powder to regularly cleanse your skin to reveal healthy & glowing skin. It cleanses dirt, oil & impurities leaving your skin pure & nourished. Price Rs. 975 for 125gm. Ingredients How To Use It is a powered scrub, hence must be diluted water/rose water /milk. Since I have oily & acne prone skin, I avoid using milk and go for rose water/water. It softens to great extent once diluted. If you have used Forest Essentials Facial Ubtans, you will know how powdered cleansers softens after diluted. Packaging It is a powdered scrub/cleanser which comes in a transparent plastic tub with a black lid over. There is also a secure lid over the tub to avoid any spillage. The packaging tells you all about the product. The ingredients/ how to use/ about the product every thing is mentioned on the pack. Color, Texture & Smell It is a powder glimpse of pink crushed rose petals, almonds, oats etc. The powder is really finely grained. It is not hard to touch or use. When mixed with water/rose water/ milk, it softens to great extent further. It does not feel harsh on skin. Cleanses skin mildly. It mostly smells of Germanium essential oil. I was hoping it to smell like rose petals but disappointed. Germanium essential oil does not smell bad, but it is little strong for my taste. This scrub/cleanser comes in powder form since, it does not have any preservatives. My Experience I use it every day once, since it is advised to do so to notice the positive effects on skin. I can say it is good. I noticed a soft glow from very first use. I first used it few nights ago. Next morning, I liked how my skin looked fresh and glowy, I was like, what the hell did I use last night for this amazing soft glow. Later in the day I realized, it was the scrub from Ma Earth Botanicals. It has all the good things, oats, almonds, rose petals & some essential oils to effectively cleanse & nourish skin naturally & gently. Even though this is termed as a scrub, I would call it a cleanser, a mild one. It feels nothing like a scrub since it does not have (harsh) granules when diluted with rose water or milk. It softens to great extent, that I just keep on massaging my face for few minutes before rinsing it out with cold water. There is no stretchy feeling afterwords, since it actually nourishes skin while cleansing it. But I still put some moisturizer. or my night cream (since I use it at night). It is little pricey, but 125 gm will last for about 4-5 months, so eventually it will be economical or at least I would like to think so. I have not purchased the full sized product yet, I so want to have it, but wish the brand comes up with smaller sizes of this scrub. Likes Herbal composition. Contains Oats, Rose Petals, Almonds & Essential Oils. Very gentle on skin. Will suit all skin types. Does not irritate my sensitive skin. No breakouts. Gives Soft Glow. Sturdy packaging. No preservative/chemicals. Dislike It is pricey. Summary : 4.5/5 I really like this Rose Facial Scrub from Ma Earth Botanicals. It is a definite try for those who are into herbal /natural skin care. It feels very delicate on skin but is effective in lifting out dead skin & impurities off the skin. Gives healthy glow. Wish the price was bit lower. Would like to see what more Ma Earth Botanicals has to offer. Love…
