Hey Girls, NELF Cosmetics just introduced 2 Valentine Special Gift Sets of Lipsticks and Lip Gloss. One set contains 4 matte lipsticks with a nail lacquer and another set contains of 5 lip glosses. I will be reviewing these lipsticks and lip glosses for you so that you can get to know if these sets are worth buying. The lipsticks are matte while the nail paint is glossy. The lip glosses are known as NELF Velvet Sheen Lip gloss. NELF Valentine’s Day Special Gift I like NELF lipsticks because they are lead free. While even the big brands do not refrain from putting lead in their lipsticks. I have used NELF 9 to 6 All Day Long Lipsticks, NELF The Miami Stick Lipsticks and NELF Powder Matte Lipsticks. Had quite a wonderful experience too. NELF Valentine’s Day Special Gift Sets are improved version of lipsticks and lip glosses in terms of quality and packaging. Set 1 – NELF VT Lipsticks I got 4 shades from this newly launched range. The shades are very apt for the Valentine’s Day. Not just for the Valentine’s Day but actually will suit every special day. The lipsticks being matte are long lasting. I have been wearing a coral shade since the morning and I could still see a tint on my lips while I am writing this piece. Price: – The lipsticks are priced at only Rs. 199. Texture & Formula The lipsticks are matte but has very creamy formula. The formula really hydrates lips. You can notice bit of sheen when you apply these shades. It does not settle into fine lines neither it accentuates fine lines on my lips. The final finish is semi matte to matte. Packaging NELF has improved packaging of it’s lipsticks. The packaging of these lipstick is really of high quality. The shades come in an all black matte case. The lipsticks close with a sound of click which makes them travel friendly. NELF VT 18 Incense Pink This is a beautiful pink peachy shade. It has more of pinks and less of peach which makes it suitable wear for all skin types. NELF VT 19 Sizzle Red It’s an absolute gorgeous deep red. It’s a shade that will suit all the Indian skin tones as it has warm undertones. NELF VT 20 Delicacy It’s an earthy shade with bit of pinks. The shade will go well with smokey eyes, which might be your go to look for your special night. NELF VT 23 Fuchsia Obsession And lastly we have a mauve shade. Mauve is very wearable shade and really preferable for date nights. NELF Nail Laquer NSE03 Obsession I got a very beautiful bright red shade nail lacquer in my first gift set. The shade is very beautiful. I like the pigmentation as well as the glossy finish that it gives to my nails. Price: Rs. 99/- Set 2 – NELF Valvet Sheen Lip Gloss This is the first time that I have been using lip gloss from NELF. Actually I generally don’t use lip glosses. My first choice is always matte lipsticks. I received 5 lip glosses from NELF. They are all chosen to be as a Valentine’s Day set. The shades include coral, red, mauve and pinks. Price: Rs. 150 -/ Packaging The packaging of the lip glosses is again very sturdy. The shades come in a transparent tube with a black applicator fitted at the top. The applicator is bit tiny and hence gives clean application. The shade numbers are mentioned at the bottom of the tubes. Formula & Texture The lip glosses nice pigmentation, but to give an even finish, multiple swipes are required. Few shades are more pigmented than the others as you can see in the picture. The finish is absolutely gorgeous. It’s not ultra glossy but has a sheen, which make them wearable for day time too. NELF Velvet Sheen VSL01 Tangerine Flame It’s a subtle orange shade. The shade is very lively and gives a fresh look to the face. NELF Velvet Sheen VSL04 Berry Red This is a red shade in the set. The shade gives that glamorous look that you want on your special night. NELF Velvet Sheen VSL05 Winter Romance If you shy away from reds, this coral shade is a perfect fit for you. NELF Velvet Sheen VSL08 Passion Fruit This is a dark shade. It’s a deep wine shade which is very wearable for all skin tones. NELF Velvet Sheen VSL12 Mandarin Crush This is an earthy shade which you might want to go with a smokey eye. Summary : Mini review of Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Foundation Golden Beige, Wet n Wild Lipstick Bare It All, Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick – Nudist Peach, Wet n Wild Flat Top Brush, Innisfree The Green Seed Serum , Innisfree Orchid Kit, Essence Kajal in White Hi Girls, After a long time, I shopped some makeup & beauty products from Nykaa. I just wanted a nude lipstick and ended up with 8 products in my shopping cart. Just can’t resist makeup & such pretty things. Can we? But it’s alright. I have restrained myself from buying new makeup speclially lipsticks from a long time. I already have like tons of nude lipsticks in brown & peach. But I needed one more. Something in between peach and brown. I shortlisted Wet n Wild Lipstick in Bare It All because I saw it over some Instagram post. Right now Nykaa is so hot in terms of the best store online selling makeup & beauty products. It houses not just Indian but many International brands at affordable prices. Every week we kind of see a new brand over the platform. I had used few lipsticks in the past from Wet n Wild and they turned out well, so I kind of hooked onto getting Bare It All. But I got a bunch of some other stuff too. Wet n Wild Lipstick Bare It All It’s a brownish nude lip shade. It’s not ultra brown or chocolaty but has hints of peach. The shade is like an everyday or casual wear. And would also compliment smokey eyes. The lipstick is not completely matte but gives bit of satin finish which is quite wearable. Lasts fairly long for the price. It is priced at INR 299 only. Read it’s complete review here. Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick – Nudist Peach This is a a nice full on Peach shade. You can also wear it as a nude if you have fair skin tone. Wheatish to dark skin tone should wear it sparingly otherwise it may wash you out. I have some fetish to such shades. The shade lasts very long, It kind of survives meals too. It’s such a bad ass. The lipstick is priced at INR 499. Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation Golden Beige I kind of liked the feature of the foundation which says it has been tested in all kind of lights to give a natural finish. The foundation gives medium to high coverage. It sets quickly and smudge free. I am yet to test it in hot and humid summer but the first impression of the foundation has been very nice for the price. It’s priced at Rs. 599. Read complete review here. Wet n Wild Flat Top Brush I got another brush despite of having lots of brushes for makeup which are lying unused because I generally use a single beauty blender or my fingers to apply base and other makeup. I kind of liked this white & pink flat top brush which was highly affordable. I liked the soft fluffy bristles. It gave nice blending when used with Wet n Wild Photo Focus foundation. The brush lost 2 hair when I washed it for the first time if that counts. It costs only INR 299. Wet n Wild XXL Lash Mascara in Black This parabene free mascara is damn awesome. I love how beautifully it amplifies lashes. There is no falseness, but only beauty. Priced at INR 399 it can really put other high priced to shame when it comes to performance. Wet n Wild XXL Lash Mascara in Black. Essence White Kajal Pencil I have used few white kajal pencils before. After a long time, I got this one. It’s very cheap. The pencil is ultra soft too. It glides smoothly over lash line & water line. Also the pigmentation is superb. But it breaks easily because it’s way to soft. This breaks my heart too. Innisfree The Green Seed Serum I had had enough of this serum. Girls (bloggers) were raving so much about it, I was like damn. I must try this. But It’s nothing extra ordinary. It feels like plain water that I have been putting on my skin. It gives only 5-10% moisture to skin, So dry skin beauties stay away from it. My oily skin definitely don’t need much moisture. And that’s why I have been using it. But It does not make any difference in my skin after using it. I have been using it for 2 weeks now. Costing 1950 bucks, it’s kind of a pricey affair. My homemade Aloe Vera- Lemon Serum works way better than this overrated serum. I will try to finish it and will again write about it. Hope, by then, I could see some change in my skin texture or dark spot appearance. Read complete review here. Innisfree The Orchid Kit This is a new skin care line from Innisfree. This kit is mainly for dry to normal skin. It contains 3 products as Orchid Skin, Orchid lotion & Orchid Essence. The products inside the kit are not high in moisture and are non sticky, hence seems suitable for oily to normal skin types. Innisfree Orchid Skin – It’s milky watery lotion. Hence quite runny. Absorbs quickly without any greasiness. Innisfree Orchid Lotion – Is is bit thicker than Orchid Skin. It’s an effort to take it out from the narrow neck of the bottle. It is also non sticky though. Innisfree Orchid Essence – This comes in a pump. It’s consistency is of clear gel. It’s non sticky but kind of gives nice finish to skin. All these products are quite exciting to me. Skin feels nourished, clearer & brighter with every use. The K-Masks are travel friendly too. But don't get mislead by the term 'Fairness' associated with the masks as this term here only means brightness here. Also you might need to adjust the size according to your face structure, which is an issue with other sheet masks also.

This eternal garden range absolutely feels delight on my senses. I have tried Jasmine also and it was indeed another wonderful experience. But I would still call my self an Any-Day-Roses-Girl. Packaging : The classic romance comes enclosed in a white opaque sleek bottle with beautiful roses printed on it. The packaging of looks really classy. SUGAR launched 18 eye shadow quads along with 2 eye palettes. I was really getting anxious to try my hands on the new launch when I received it in my December Fab Bag, real perk of subscribing to fab bag. I really had a hard time choosing the shades of Blend The Rules Eye Shadow Quad. Every quad has two neutral and two string shades. The name of the shades too are quite quirky giving no help. I actually have quite mixed views about this squad and the range itself. Let me share my opinion about the same with you too. SUGAR Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quad With 17 captivating matte & extra creamy metallic shades SUGAR presents 18 Quads to bring out your inner artist and play with colors every day. Use these quads to create new eye looks every day. Every quad is packed with 4 colors to give complete your eye makeup. The quads come with dual ended sponge too. These are 18 shades in the range. 1. Stronger 2. Believe 3. Escapade 4. Chandelier 5. Irreplaceable 6. Disturbing 7. Applause 8. Respect 9. Diamond 10. Waterfalls 11. Promiscuous 12. Complicated 13. Paparazzi 14. Skyfall 15. Bootylicious 16. Roar 17. Goldeneye 18. Scandalous Price & Availability The quad is priced at Rs. 699. The quad is available at SUGAR. Packaging As compared to other palettes and eye quads, this range of Blend The Rules Eye Shadow Quads is packed in a card box rather than a plastic or metal frame. I like the outer cover of the quad displaying a girl with eye shadow on her eyes, so chic. But as you open the quad there is a black frame containing for shadows. There is a mini dual ended sponge provided with the eye shadow quad. I wish there was also a mirror provided with the quad. I think SUGAR has tried to keep the production cost lower. The dual ended sponge is alright in quality, but I don’t think you would like to use it. Better use your eyeshadow brushes for creasing and blending. The sponge is alright just to deposit color on the lashes. SUGAR Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quad – SkyFall Skyfall is for those girls who want a bit of everything. Just like me. It has beautiful shades cream, mauve, bright blue & metallic purple. This quad is idea to create a peacock look according to SUGAR. Honestly cream is very neutral shade for my wheatish skin tone. It really blends into my skin tone so I can’t really use it as a highlighter. Kind of waste for me. The mauve shade is very beautiful. I love the beautiful hue it gives to my boring eyes. Bright blue & metallic purple shade are no doubt amazing. How To Use SUGAR Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quad? Every quad has a light shade, dark shade a bright shade and a metallic shade. Use the dark shade to create define your crease. Blend from outward to inward to create nice hue. Apply the bright shade on eye doe while blending the edges seamlessly. Use the metallic color at the center of the lid or stretch it till the outer corner to create a more dramatic look. Pigmentation The pigmentation of the shadows is above average. The lighter shades, cream & mauve are alright in pigmentation while bright blue and metallic purple are more impressive. Texture The matte shadows are pressed powders while the metallic shade is bit creamy. The mattes are fine textured and the metallic of course contains glitter. I do not find any issue to pick the shadow and deposit on my lid. Also the blending is quite smooth. It’s always advised to use a nice eye primer before starting your eye makeup to create a nice surface, ease the blending and restrain creasing. Longevity The eyeshadows once applied do not crease. It is an awesome fact. Even without a primer the eye shadows give a nice performance. I have worn these shadows for 4-5 hours and did not face any smudge or fall out. Later the colors started fading slowly. The shadows are easy to take off too. If you do not have a makeup remover, you can just massage your eye area with few drops of almond oil/any nice oil. Then taking a damp cotton remove the shadows. SUGAR Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quad Skyfall is a lovely quad of cream, mauve, bright blue & metallic purple. This squad could be used to create multiple look out of its colors. One can use all the colors or just single color depending upon occasion. I wish SUGAR improves the packaging a bit. For 700 bucks we can expect a nice applicator and mirror too. This was my review of the eye quad from SUGAR. I really have mixed feeling about the squad. The color choice is nice but it offers nothing extra ordinary as we expect SUGAR products to be. How did you like the review? Leave your comments below. The natural lip balm contains Shea Butter, Natural Beeswax & Kokum Butter. Also it does not contain harmful chemical, parabenes or synthetic scents. Priced at Rs. 250 you can by it from Fuschia’s website & Amazon.in It does not give much color to lips though. Hence it is wearable beneath your matte lipsticks too. Just Herbs Marigold Mango Lip Contour Balm This is a clear gel like lip contouring lip balm which gives a nice sensation to lips upon application. If you are not a fan of tinted lip balms, you can use this clear & lightweight lip balm. It heals lips within few applications and protects them against further environmental damage . It is priced bit pricey among the others at 345 INR but does not contain parabenes or mineral oils. The ingredient list is also very impressive. Tvakh Midas Touch Ultra Nourishing Lip Tint With SPF This SPF infused lip tint is a great choice if you liked to use tinted lip balms. This is a 99% natural lip balm which gives a reddish/golden tint to lips. It is quite enchanting to use this lip balm. I ma not sure how many of you would really like to use this golden lip tint, but I feel it is quite unique. This lip tint is also free of parabenes, petroleum byproducts & GMO. Tvakh CE-NAMON Lip Plumper I know you all love lip plumper. They really works fab to give you a sensuous look. What could be more wonderful then using a Cinnamon infused lip product to get those ultra plumped lips. This lip plumper from Tvakh is a nice product which gives nice fluttering & tinted lips. The lip plumper is also infused with SPF 4. Argan Oil contained in the lip plumper nourish them for long lasting effect. The lip plumper is eco-certified as well as non-toxic. Botanic Love Grapefruit Lip Balm Botanic Love is a 100% natural & organic brand. I love everything I have tried from their brand. Specially the acne mask. I received this lip balm from Botanic Love as a token of love. This is a lip balm cum plumper. It works great to nourish lips & refine texture of lips. It is colorless but not tasteless. It gives bit of weird taste upon application which is not I look into my lip balms. But I like to use it at night, finally when I am drifting off to sleep. My Envy Box May 2017 : Review

Hello, I was already feeling little tired & lazy today and then on the top, my May Subscription Box from #MyEnvyBox turned out to be an average one. It arrived today in the morning. I was not expecting it, yet, it showed. Great. Next I opened the box to check out the products of this months. I was greeted by 2 broken ampoules which were supposed to be the samples of Omofree skin toner. There was nothing left in the tiny glass bottles and the small amount of toner packed in the bottles, was all soaked up by the box itself. Next I located few samples from L’Occitane. There was a sachet (the tiniest & the thinnest they could make) of hand cream. There were another two even more tiny sachets of face cream and serum. What’s the point? Single usage samples really put me off. They are useless. Here is the list of the products that I got in #myenvybox. The Nature’s Co Mango Creme Body Wash (Rs. 695 for 150ml) Cheryl’s Dermashade Sunblock SPF 30 (Rs. 550 for 50gm) GreCobe – Green Coffee (Rs. 70 for 1 Sachet, Rs. 540 for 30 sachets) Fuschia Herbal Fusion Shampoo (Rs. 450 for 100ml) L’occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream (Single usage sachet) L’occitane Reine Blanche Illuminating Serum (Single usage sachet) L’occitane Reine Blanche Illuminating Cream (Single usage sachet) Omorfee – Mellow Drizzle Skin Toner – Found broken 🙁 Let’s move on to the good part of the box. Actually the box itself is a treat to eyes. The light green colored box has water melon slices printed all over. My son really liked the box as he loves water melon very much. The Nature’s Co Mango Cream Body Wash It smells of Mangoes of course. I love mangoes (who does not), but I can’t eat them since they break my skin like hell. It would be relaxing to use a Mango body wash instead. After all, the aroma of mangoes is as exotic as it’s taste. Heavenly Sweet. Cheryl’s Dermashade Sunblock The sunblock is a nice addition to the box. I have used Cheryl’s Dermacleanse face wash for acne, and I was really impressed. The sunblock is something unspoken necessity all year long. This sunblock is supposed to suit all skin type. I shall try it on my oily & acne prone skin. It is bit costly than other regular sun blocks giving the amount of SPF it has (only 30). But may be it has got some other hidden benefits. Will let you know. GreCobe – The Green Coffee Just one sachet? Not fair. But I would try it. Though I am a tea lover, or would go for a cold coffee, if I have to. I have promised myself to get over my addiction to tea and try healthy alternates. Not a fan of Green Tea though, but who knows Green Coffee can hook me up. Fuschia Herbal Fusion Shampoo I have been seeing my fellow bloggers to rave about this new brand a lot. Now it’s time that I too try it. Fuschia claims that this is a handmade shampoo containing more of herbal ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Brahmi, Shikakai, Lemon Extracts, Amla Extracts and some very good essential oils. This sounds very exotic. Will be happy to try it. L’Occitane En Provence Samples This is a premium luxury brand and is really costly too. Hence, they send out only single usage sachets. Which I think does not serve much purpose. How can a cosmetic product be so potent that it will work in the very first use. I have used such a sample from Smytten Box also, which did not deliver much in single use. Omofree – Mellow Drizzle Skin Toner This is a new brand. I was not aware of Omofree, before receiving its sample in my box. The skin toner was packed in two 2ml glass ampules which were found broken as I opened the box. I can see a wet spot in the box. So this was My Envy Box for May 2017. I think you must be already aware of the products since the brand releases a video of the products even before shipping out the box. That kills all the suspense. Fab Bag is much good in keeping it’s products undisclosed (well, most of them) until you receive them. About the may box, It is a decent box, if I overlook the broken vile & single usage L’Occitane samples. The body wash, shampoo & sun block are decently sized products to deliver many uses. I am an avid user of essential oils, specially of Lavender oil. I have used Lavender essential oil form many brands be it Aroma Magic, Khadi, Soul Tree and many more in the past. When Ryaal Essentials approached me to try their Lavender Essential Oil, I gladly accepted. Lavender Oil is a popular essential oil. It is one of the most used essential oil in cosmetics. Also it has therapeutic effects too. I have been using Lavender oil from many years now, & I know if a product is authentic or not. I am going to review Ryaal Essentials Lavender essential Oil today. stick with me to know about the efficacy of this product. The Brand – Ryaal Essentials is a relatively new brand. The brand has come up with premium skin care range mostly comprising of essential oils. You can visit the brand’s website here, or go to it’s product list on Amazon.in. Let’s get to know the Lavender Oil from Ryaal Essentials. Price The essential oils are costly because it takes a lot of plants/roots/flowers to extracts few drops of any kind of essential oils. But Ryaal Essentials Lavender Oil has been priced very reasonably. It is priced at Rs. 269 for 15ml & Rs. 399 for 30ml. I got the 15ml version to test out the efficacy of the product. You can buy it from here. Ingredients 100% Pure Organic Lavender Oil. Packaging The essential oils must be stored inside dark colored glass bottles so that they do not loose their effectiveness in case they come in contact with direct sun light, similarly they should be packaged securely so that they air contact can be minimized. Ryaal Essentials has taken care of these measures and packed the essential oil in a lavender colored glass bottle with nozzle fitted at the top covered with a screw-in cap. The brand also ships a dropper so that product could be taken out with ease. But the nozzle dispenses the product drop by drop hence there is not much hassle & the dropper could be skipped altogether. The packaging is otherwise sturdy and would not pose any leakage problem. Color, Texture & Smell Lavender oil is a clear oil by nature but is not sticky at all. It is supposed to be absorbed when applied onto the skin or can evaporate otherwise. Ryaal Essentials Lavender Oil is also a clear runny oil which smells heavenly of Lavender of course. As I open the screw cap of the bottle I inhale the calming smell & it feels very good. How To Use It? Mix with your regular moisturizer to calm down skin irritations. Mix few drops in carrier oil such as Jojoba oil, Grape-seed oil, Olive oil or Almond Oil to replenish your skin. Relax your mind & body by using few drops in a diffuser. Pour few drops on a cloth and place it near your face while you go to sleep. It will induce better sleep. Wear it like a perfume. Use it for Headache by mixing it with peppermint & chamomile oil. My Experience I have been using this oil from last week more than once every day because I really liked it in terms of it’s texture, smell & efficacy. The oil is not sticky at oil because it is not exactly an oil but extracts of Lavender flowers. Lavender oil is my favorite because it does not sting my skin ever. I can apply few drops here and there on my body to smell nice & it would not hurt my skin. Though before putting it on my face I mix it with Jojoba Oil from Rouh Essentials (review lined up). I have few active acne and scars left by previous acne breakouts. It works great in calming down my skin irritations. Redness is taken down drastically. My skin feels good afterwords. I have used this essential oil in a diffuser to make my room smell nice last Sunday, and it really perked up my mood. I was very calm & cheerful later that evening. I am insomniac and Lavender oil really works to treat my problem. Ryaal Lavender Essential Oil works great in this area too. I pour few drops directly on my pillow before retiring to my bed. I also apply few drops on my inner wrist because it smells so nice. I don’t struggle to sleep anymore. I really am impressed with this essential oil & would love to try more variants from the brand like Tea tree Oil & Avocado Oil. Likes Authentic product. Works great in bringing down skin irritation & redness. Fast absorbing & non sticky. Freshen up environment. Sturdy packaging. Affordable. Dislike Available only online. The presence of the brand is not much felt online/offline. Summary : 5/5 Ryaal Essentials Lavender Essential Oil is a quality product. It is a multi facet product that could be used on skin, body, hair & for aromatherapy purpose. The product is also very affordable. I would recommend this product to someone who is looking for Lavender essential oil at affordable price. I will be happy to try out other products from the brand. The good effects that I have listed above are actually benefits of pure Lavender oil. Which kind of indicates the purity of the essential oil. Hope you liked the review.
