Happy New Year. A new year and new energy surround us. So pick up your last year’s resolutions, add some new charm, and get going. Following the same, today I am going to write about HUDA Beauty Liquid Matte Lipsticks in HeartBreaker, Trophy Wife, Vixen, because these beauties have been lying with me since so many months. Whenever I shop for lipsticks, I make sure to pick a nude lipstick. Then you cannot omit red lipstick and pink lipstick is something you can’t ignore for an everyday look. So I got 3 shades from HUDA Beauty Liquid Matte range. I was quite keen to get HUDA Beauty Foundation & HUDA Beauty Rose Gold Palette but I really held back keeping my budget goals in mind. HUDA Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick is a vast range. The range makes it hard to choose a few shades. It took me so long to choose these 3 shades. This range has too many pinks, reds & nudes. It can really give your mind a swirl. You can never go wrong with a HUDA Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick. Be it any skin tone, any season, any occasion, you have got few at your disposal. HUDA Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick Price & Availability You can get these liquid lipsticks in a range INR 200 -2000 depending upon the type of store you choose. I have seen them offline & online at major stores like Amazon & Flipkart. Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipsticks are available in more than 25 shades. This red lipstick, red matte lipstick from Huda Beauty is favorite of all whoever has tried this range. It’s a gorgeous, breathtaking and rich red. This warm-toned red is a perfect red for sensuous evenings. You can turn heads wearing this red and nothing else on your face. HUDA Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick Trophy Wife Young, Restless & Desirable just like a trophy wife. This cool-toned pink shade is really hot. It brightens up my face. This shade is perfect to give a hint of drama queen inside you. A dash of Trophy Wife on your lips gives a flirty look. It is suitable for most of the skin tones from light-medium. HUDA Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick Vixen Honestly, I love to wear nude shades as much I like to wear red lipstick. A nude shade makes you look mysterious. Like you are hiding your unspoken secrets behind your lips. Technically this shade is peachy-brown nude. A nude shade can make your complexion wash out if you are not being careful. But I still can’t get over it. I make sure to wear it very sparingly Buy it here. Fragrance & Texture HUDA Beauty Liquid Matte Lipsticks are quite fine-textured. These beauties go very smoothly & effortlessly on lips. The formula is quick to dry too hence sets very easily on lips. It’s important to avoid any mistakes during the application. These lipsticks have a sweet chocolaty smell which is not very noticeable. Pigmentation & Longevity The pigmentation of HUDA Beauty liquid lipsticks is the most obvious factor behind the success & fame of this range. The pigmentation is absolutely amazing. The lipsticks are one swipe wonder. You get opaque finish in just one swipe be it any shade. No wonder the lipsticks stay for long on lips. The matte finish sometimes could get powdery if applied more than required. I have worn these beauties for more than 4-5 hours in a stretch without touch-ups. No doubt these beauties have taken the world by their charm. Their performance is impressive so you can just wear them and forget. Sivanna Colors Lipstick Pencil 01, 09 : Swatches & Review

When I get bore, I buy lipsticks. This time I got Sivanna Colors Lipstick Pencils. These are chubby pencils with frosty shades. Or you can say we have another Crayon pencils. I generally buy matte shades but these are bit frosty and not complete matte. I am quite fascinated by the makeup products that Sivanna offers. There eye shadow & contouring palettes are very nice. I liked the chubby pencils & picked them. These pencils are bit small in size that they can fit in the palm of my hand. Look cute & adorable while being affordable. I am seeing them online every where. Most of the blogger & youtubers are reviewing & swatching them. So these pretty ladies caught my attention too. These are affordable but I got only two because I have a habit to pick a pink & a nude shade whenever I am trying out a lipstick for the first time. Weird huh? Price & Availability Sivanna Colors Lipstick Pencil (the name does not mingle, does it?) does not have a fixed price. You can get them anywhere in between 150 to 300 depending upon the shop you buy these. Since these are formulated and imported from Korea & hence the seller can charge anything according to his will. Availability is not a major issue. I got them offline at a store nearby me. Also these are available at most of the shopping websites such as Flipkart. No I did not find them over Amazon. Packaging The chubby lipstick comes in a very black pencil form with a colored band at the bottom and a transparent small cap at it’s mouth. You don’t need to sharpen it since it is retractable unlike Sugar Crayons or Lakme Crayons. Also the packaging is not really flimsy even if it’s cheap. Though I am not sure about the cap of the pencil. It needs bit of a pressure to fit properly on the mouth of the pencil. Shade Description Shade 01 It is a frosty baby pink shade. The color looks very lovely on the pencil but must be worn carefully if you have wheatish to dark skin tone. It might wash you out. I wear it only when I have nice bright skin. Shade 09 I took it as a nude shade. It is muted violet shade. I am not a fan of this shade since it washes me badly. It surely will wash out most of the skin tones. But people with ultra light skin tone, might flaunt it with bold eyes. Pigmentation & Texture Color pay off of these lipsticks is nice. One stroke gives nice shade. But 2 swipes are enough to provide full coverage to pigmented lips. The moisture amount is nice in these lipsticks and hence these do not dry out lips. But since these are frosty, might accentuate fine lines or look patchy if not applied carefully & evenly. Longevity They really stick to my lips for 2-3 hours surviving mini meals and sips. But might look bit patchy at the end because of there texture. Touch ups are required. Finish I took them as matte crayon lipsticks but these beauties give a frosty finish which I do not like. This kind of finish is alright if you want to accentuate your lips above all. Do I Recommend Sivanna Colors Lipstick Pencil? Maybe I picked up wrong shades, but I did not like the finish & the shades did not suit my complexion. I would not recommend at least these shades to Olive & darker skin tones. Sivanna Colors Lipstick Pencils are affordable with sturdy & attractive packaging and good color pay off. The finish is not matte like other crayon pencils. The finish is frosty which might be an issue for some girls. No matter how much I like Sivanna Colors Palettes, these chubby crayon pencils could not win my heart. Hi, Would you like to know about my current favorite lipstick? It’s Lotus Make-Up ECOSTAY Butter Matte Lip Color – Pink Petal Long Lasting lip Color. I grabbed it recently and I am loving it. Lotus Make-Up Ecostay was launched back in 2014. It consisted of Lipsticks, foundation, primer, eye shadow and every thing you ever need for a flawless look. The range still exist but we have witnessed some change in the packaging and formula. Hope you enjoy the review. Lotus Make-Up ECOSTAY Butter Matte Lip Color The Butter Matte Lip Color range is enriched with Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E & Shea Butter. The formula contains triple moisturizer hence you get buttery soft lips with each application the formula is intensely pigmented and rich. Price Rs. 625 for 4.2g. Hurts the pocket. Available on Nykaa & Other leading shopping websites. Also easily available on Lotus counter & local cosmetics shops. Ingredients No ingredient list provided. Packaging The lipstick comes in metallic card box. The card box has nice flowery design and also contains features of the lipstick. Inside you find a shining silver colored lipstick bullet. The cap of the lipstick has some purple colored flowery design imprinted over it. The packaging is very beautiful, sturdy& travel friendly. It kind of gives a luxurious feeling. Lotus Make-Up ECOSTAY Butter Matte Lip Color Shades Wicked Brown, Orange On, Burgundy Bliss, Red Rave, Wine Wish, rough Belle, Brown Bella, Rosetta, Pink Petal, Magenta Mist, Plum Pearl, Peach Pamela, Pink Precious, Sandstone, Orange Opal. Shade – Pink Petal It is a nice pink shade. It is cool toned pink but not utterly bright. It would look flattering on every skin tone. Wheatish skin tones will get most favored. The shade can be built upon, to achieve ultra glam look. Or you can keep it bit muted for everyday look. Fragrance & Texture Honestly, I just can’t smell anything out of it. But sometimes, there are sweet hints. That’s all. No weird, over the top chocolaty sweet smell. It is almost fragrance free. Texture is real creamy. It contains Shea Butter, Vitamin E & Jojoba Oil. Hence you can really expect some good moisturization for lips. It literally feels buttery smooth lips. No need to put lip balm underneath the lipstick. It takes care of all the dryness. Pigmentation The pigmentation of the lipstick is decent. With one stroke it gives semi opaque coverage while another swipe gives nice color. It’s a light shade, it does not have that much pigmentation as much we actually expect from a 625 bucks lipstick. So I would like to give it benefit of doubt. At the store though, the lipstick showed great pigmentation. Maybe the SA used quite a force upon the tester. While I am being ultra careful not to spoil the shape of the lipstick. Finish It give purely matte finish. Even though it contains triple moisturizing agents and feels like butter on lips, it still gives matte finish. that is really impressive. If you remember, my last lipstick review, Colorbar feel the rain gives semi matte finish since it is moisturizing too. But this lipstick from Louts, despite of being moisturizing, gives nice matte finish. Lakme 9 To 5 Primer + Matte range also gives matte finish but is 50% less miosturizing than Lotus Make-up Ecostay Butter Lip Color Range. Longevity It stays on my lips for decent time. It does not go away easily because of the finish. At most it has stayed on my lips for 4-5 hours, when I ate small meals in between. After about 5 hours, I could see the intensity of the color was bit down, but my lips were evenly pigmented with pastel pink color. I liked the fact that it does not go patchy or goes off the lips in patches. Summary ❤❤❤❤ I really like this range of lipstick from Louts Make-up Ecostay Butter Lip Color. It has some nice colors to offer. The lipsticks are highly moisturizing. Does not dry out lips or settle into fine lines. the color is long lasting and does not come off in weird way. It is pricey, no argument. I would have grabbed few more shades from the range, given the range was more affordable. Also the ingredient list is missing. Have you tried this range of lipsticks? This brand has always provided standard quality products within my small pocket money. Over the years, I have used a lot of their makeup products. Their nail paints, lipsticks, lip balms and eyeliners are my favorites. Last year, when I saw their commercial of the new Matte Lipstick range, I could not control myself from visiting their counter on my next visit to the local beauty store. As I was searching for a mute pink shade, this Mauve Date shade caught my eye and without losing much time I bought it. Today I am going to present my view of the Elle 18 Color Pops Matte Lipstick Mauve Date. Read on. About Elle 18 Color Pops Matte Lipstick Mauve Date Your new, essential lip color is here. Now you can get that bold and intense color in just one stroke of application. Available in 20 bold and vibrant shades that accentuate your overall look. Give your lips the spotlight they deserve with the New Color Pops Matte Collection! Price Rs.100 for 4.3gm Ingredients Not mentioned Packaging Elle 18 Color Pops Matte Lipstick Mauve Date comes in a black twist-up bullet. The lid that covers the bullet is also black in color. On the lid, you will be able to find the product name, some useful information regarding the product and a cute imprint of a girl’s face who is wearing a hot pink lip tint. The shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick bullet where the shelf life and some other important manufacturing details are also written. When this new range first came into the market, the heads of lipstick bullets were rounded (as you see in my lippy). After a short while, they started manufacturing flat headed bullets. Overall the packaging is quite sturdy and travel-friendly. Texture & Smell The texture of this lipstick is semi-matte and very smooth. It does not require any tugging or pulling while applying. It is not over moisturising of course, but it does not dry my lips out too. Fragrance wise it is different from normal Color Pops lipsticks from the same brand. It has a warm vanilla kind of smell with a hint of floral. It suits my taste. Pigmentation Elle 18 has done a great job in the pigmentation department I must say. The pigment is pretty intense when it comes to this lipstick. The actual bullet colour shows on my medium pigmented lips in one swipe itself. For even dark lipped beauties 2-3 swipes would be enough. Shade- Mauve Date Elle 18 Color Pops Matte Lipstick Mauve Date is actually a pink mauve shade. The shade has such warmth to it that it would suit every undertone of Indian skin be it warm, neutral or cool. It would look pinkish on fair skin tones. It will give tea rose kind of shade on the dusky skin. I use it for my day time as well as evening looks to achieve an understated look. As the shade name suggests, it will be great shades for your ‘Date’ looks. Finish The finish it provides is not fully matte. Semi-matte would be the best word to describe its finish. I actually like the finish because I have a control over the finish this way. When I wish to have semi-matte lips I just apply it and forget. On the other times, I turn the finish into full matte by blotting my lips with a tissue after application. Longevity For the price, the staying power is not bad either. It stays intact for 3-4 hours straight. Then it starts to fade evenly. After 6-7 hours I can still notice a muted pink tint. The only con here is that it transfers a lot if I do not do lip-blotting. Likes Nice warm and muted pink shade. Pigmentation is awesome. Semi-matte finish. Pocket friendly. Does not dry out lips Dislikes Ingredient list is absent. The shade transfers if not blotted. Summary: 4.75/5 If you are searching for a warm-toned muted pink semi-matte lipstick, then this one will be a nice budget choice. Beginners or people, who are not into the matte lippy world for long, would find this a good reference shade to go for the high-end lip shades. Feels like you first crush… huh? I am going to share two lippies from my kitty which suit your every day wear. I sometimes wonder, Indian brands are doing so good. They deliver nice products with comparable performance with that of the high brands at so much cheaper rates. You just need to lean to them and embrace them without shying of the cheap tag. Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color Put on Color Essence Mesmerizing Lip Color to look pretty in an instant. The unique coriander and basil extract with SPF-15 gives you a full coverage look with satin, smooth finish and long wear texture. After application it immediately brightens up your face. Soft, creamy texture makes application easy. Your lips will be moisturized for long time as it has staying power of minimum three hours. With good pigmentation it nourishes your lips from dryness. It has pleasant, soothing smell. Available in 32 different shades you have new color for each morning. Price Rs. 200 for 4gms. Texture & Smell These are creamy and moisturizing lipticks. I never noticed any weird smell. Pigmentation The pigmentation is average but build-able. Some colors are more pigmented than others. Like Forever Rose is more pigmented than Nude Suede. Packaging These lipsticks come in a black sleek packaging. I quite like the packaging. But you can’t make out the colour of the lipstick until you look at the bottom where the shade is mentioned. Finish They finish is little creamy. And hence these lippies transfer while you drink or eat. Staying Power Since these are creamy lipsticks they don’t stay for long. Nude Suede lasts for maximum 2 hours while Forever Rose lasts for 3-4 hours and leaves a tint behind. Shade Description Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color in Nude Suede This is a nude shade, and I just love this color. This particular lipstick contains very fine shimmer. Not much visible on lips though. Buy from here. Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color in Forever Rose This is a bright pink (my kind of pink) colour. It instantly brighten up my face even on a dull day. This lipstick is quite pigmented since it’s bright colour. Buy from here. Summary : 3.5/5 Not all shades are equally pigmented and stay on your lips, but these are quite a bargain for the price you pay. Bright colors from this range are more pigmented and stay longer than the dull colors. Choose accordingly. I have found Blue Heaven Lipsticks perform better and are cheaper.
