Hey Girls, ready for a lipstick review? I got SeaSoul Moisture Matte Lead Free Lipstick ML 12. I got this lipstick in my September Fab Bag and is also my first lipstick from the brand. I have got Seasoul HD CC Cream but it’s bit dark for my skin tone. Hence lying unused. Coming back to the lipstick. It’s a very pretty peach/coral shade. It is a nice coral shade for Indian skin tones. It is a moisture rich lipstick which gives semi matte finish. I think I just gave an overview of the lipstick already. Interested in details? Follow Me… SeaSoul Moisture Matte Lead Free Lipstick SeaSoul Moisture Matte Lipstick is an everyday use lipstick which is lead free. It is a perfect combination of Color & Care. The lipstick is infused with Vitamin E to hydrate & protect lips. Using a lead free lipstick everyday makes sure you sure that you are not risking your health. Why You Should Use A Lead Free Lipstick? Lead is very harmful for our health. When you use a lipstick everyday for continuous hours which contains lead (most of them do unless stated otherwise), you actually are inhaling and licking some of lead whenever you eat or sip something. Using a lead based for a prolong period you can accumulate some lead in your body which could pose health risks. Price Rs. 450 . Available at Seasoul & Nykaa as well as other leading shopping websites. Packaging I am not much impressed by the flimsy packaging of the lipstick. It comes in a matte black, hourglass shaped, case with Seasoul written over it. It’s quite boring. The shade number is printed at the bottom of the lipstick. Ingredients Isononyl Isononanoate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride,Cera Microcristallina,Candelilla Cera, Hydroxy Stearic Linolenic, PCA, Nylon-12,Propylparaben, BHT,Tocopheryl Acetate, Cety Lactate(may contain): Red 30 CI 73360,Red 21 Lake CI 45380,Bismuth Oxychloride CI 77163, Titanium Dioxide CI 77891, Iron Oxides CI 77491, CI77499,CI77492, Red 7 Lake CI 45410, Yellow 5 Lake CI 19140, Red 27Lake, Red 28 Lake CI 45410, Red 36 CI 12085, Carmine CI 75470. Shades Available There are 15 shades in this range and they are named from ML 01 to ML 15. I really hate when some brands give these numbers to shades instead of some descriptive names. It’s hard to remember the shade number or figure out a desirable shade. Shade – ML 12 It is peachy-coral shade. It gives just the right amount of peachiness to my lips. Even though my skin tone does not agree with the shade, but I just can’t get enough of this color. I wear it almost everyday. But the shade can turn bit patchy if applied more than required. Or can wash out medium to dusky skin tones. Fragrance & Texture It is moisture rich lipstick. It glides nicely on lips. It does not dry out lips or settle into fine lines. It smells nice and mild. It contains Vitamin E which nicely hydrates and protects lips. Pigmentation The pigmentation of this lipstick is good. One swipe gives nice color to my lips. It actually brings a nice Peach shade. To get a coral shade, I swipe the lipstick across my lipstick again. Finish The finish of the lipstick is semi matte for the initial hour. But later it becomes complete matte. I sometimes blot it off with a napkin when I really need to flaunt a matte look. Longevity The lipstick transfers a bit in the initial hour of the application because it has some moisture in its texture. But it can survive mini meals and few sips. Altogether, it stays on lops for 3-4 hours and leaves a pink tint behind. Summary No doubt, I would like to use a lead free lipstick everyday. This particular shade is also nice. I might consider other shades from the range. I like the fact that it does not dry out my lips rather hydrates them very well. What I do not like about the lipstick is the flimsy packaging. I am also not impressed by the staying power it offers. Being Lead Free is the only unique feature it offers. If you are into natural makeup, you can opt for this range. The shade range is nice too. Hey Pretty Girls!! My Fab Bag is super early this time. It reached me on the very first day of the month. Awesome… right? So let me take you on a virtual tour of the products and the bag that I got this month. September Fab Bag 2017, is themed as The Object Of Desire. It is actually an anniversary bag. Congratulations to Fab Bag Team for the 5 fab years they have completed among us. It has been quite beautiful & glamorous time, I would say. I experienced a lot of self pampering since the day I started subscribing for Fab Bag. Making this bag a special one, Fab team packed 6 fabulous products out of which 3 are lip products. Supercilious. So let’s jump on to the bag and it’s contents. Hope you like them as much as I did. Fab Bag September 2017 – The Object Of Desire The theme sounds really sensuous. And the products quite justify the theme.The bag itself is quite a basic bag. It’s a cream colored, bit shiny & quality leather pouch that the Fab people has shipped this month. The bag could have been more desirable matching the theme. Here are 6 products that I received: Seasoul Moisture Matt Lead Free Lipstick – ML 12 ( Rs. 530/-) SUGAR Tic Tac Toe Pro Nail Lacquer – Rose And Rock (Rs. 299/-) Iraa Instarenew Multi Renew Under Eye Cream (Rs. 490 fr 20gm) Tvakh CE-Namon Lip Plumper (Rs. 225 for 6gm) Tvakh Midas Touch Ultra Nourishing Lip Tint ( Rs. 195) Seer Sedative Jasmine & Orange Soothing Yogurt Enzyme Body Cleanser (Rs. 72/- for 30ml) Seasoul Moisture Matt Lead Free Lipstick – ML 12 We just can’t get enough of lipsticks and Fab Bag knows this. With this bag, I received Seasoul Moisture Matte Lead Free Lipstick in ML 12 which is a pretty peach / subtle coral shade. The lipstick is moisturizing yet gives matte finish. It is bit pricey at Rs. 530, but is lead free lipstick which is a very big thing. Hence the price is justified. I have not tried the lipstick over my lips yet, hence can’t comment on it’s performance. SUGAR Tic Tac Toe Pro Nail Lacquer – Rose And Rock I love the Tic Tac Toe nail lacquer range from SUGAR. The range is vast, performing & affordable. The shade I got is Rose & Rock. It is a very pretty Shiny Rose shade. I was kind of hoping to get a similar shade for myself. Swatches will be out soon. Iraa Instarenew Multi Renew Under Eye Cream A fellow blogger reviewed this under eye cream from Iraa, and I quite liked the review. I have been using Oriflame’s eye cream from a while and kind of bored. I am going to switch to this new eye cream now. The texture of the eye cream is very lightweight. It absorbs very quickly under the eyes, leaving it moisturized without giving any shiny look. Looks quite promising. Need to test it’s efficacy on my dark circles. Tvakh CE-Namon Lip Plumper Fab Bag has been shipping out Tvakh products every month. This time I received two lip products from the same brand. I don’t know if it’s a mistake, but no issues. Tvakh CE-Namon Lip Plumper, of course contains Cinnamon which is a popular ingredient to give plumping effect to lips. The lip plumper also contains Argan Oil to condition the lips. Seems like a really nice lip treatment to me. Tvakh Midas Touch Ultra Nourishing Lip Tint It is another lip product from Tvakh. It is a lip tint which contains SPF 4. I don’t know how much effective SPF 4 is to protect lips. I think it’s as good as not having any SPF. But I am sure loving the gold colored flakes this lip tint has in it’s texture. It looks so beautiful that I do not want to use it. Seer Sedative Jasmine & Orange Soothing Yogurt Enzyme Body Cleanser It is a body cleanser sample from Seer Sedative. My first product form the brand. It smells heavenly of Jasmine. I have nice feeling about this product. I like to use flower based body washes & cleansers. The product is only 30ml, hence won’t last for long on my loofah. Tell me, isn’t the bag fabulous. The total cost of the products in the bag comes approximately 1800 bucks, which makes it a nice deal. I wish the bag could have been better, like I was smitten by last month’s bag. This month’s stars are the lip products that I received in the bag. I am also hopeful about the under eye cream. Will let you know, how the products fared on me. Maybelline Colorshow Creamy Matte Lipstick Peach Personality M303 : Swatches & Review

Hi Girls, Peach is a very girly colour and attracts me a lot, be it a peach dress or a lip color. While a peach dress suits me very well, a peach lip colour is tricky to flaunt. I still have got a lot of peach lip colours. Maybelline Colorshow Creamy Matte Lipstick Peach Personality is a very lovely peach as the name suggests. I own Maybelline Colorshow Creamy Matte Lipsticks in Rock The Coral, Peach Personality, Bold Crimson & few more. Where Rock The Coral is my go to pink, Peach Personality is definitely not an every day lipstick for me. But I try to wear it as often as I can. About Maybelline Colorshow Creamy Matte Lipstick This range is matte but creamy. This is a fabulous formula. The finish is matte without feeling dry on lips. The range contains a lot of colours to suit your every mood. Maybelline Claims about this range: Enriched with ultra-care hydrating formula Lip color doesn’t fade in extreme heat and humidity Shades stay true without drying up your lips Price Rs. 325 -250. Buy here. Packaging It comes in a black tube with a colour coded band at the waist of the lipstick. The band denotes the shade of the lipstick. The shade no and name are also printed at the bottom of the lipstick. The packaging is sturdy and classy, I feel. I like square packaging when it comes to a lipstick rather than round tube. This tube also comes in square packaging but the edges are not that sharp. Shade The shade Peach Personality M303, is a pure peach lipstick, which is going to suit fair tones mostly. I am wheatish, but the shade washes me out if I wear more than 2 swipes of this lipstick. I mostly blot down the lipstick after first swipe, it looks little pinkish peach. Later after the second swipe, it looks more peachy but does not wash me away. I feel light & fair skinned girls can flaunt it fabulously but if you have wheatish to medium skin tone, you have to take it really easy. Less is more. Blotting it with a tissue may help and can bring down the tone to pinky peach. Taste, Texture & Smell I detest those lipsticks & lip colours which give some kind of taste. The Creamy Matte range of Maybelline lipsticks does not have any taste to offer. The lipstick smells mildly sweet, does not bother my sensitive nose much. This lipstick belongs to the Creamy Matte range, but it is more of a creamy lipstick and less of matte. The lipstick is way too creamy to offer matte finish. It glides on my lips like butter. I notice there is very fine shimmer in the lipstick though hardly visible on lips. Pigmentation I am impressed with the pigmentation of this range of Maybelline lipsticks. Peach Personality is a light shade but it is decently pigmented. One swipe will give the exact amount of peachiness to lips. Finish It is very very creamy. If I apply more than 2 swipes of this lipstick, it gets little patchy. It never gives a matte finish until I blot it with a tissue, but then the real colour of the lipstick is also lost and I find a pinkish peach tint on my lips. Longevity Since the lipstick shade is very light and the texture is very cream, it does not last as long as the other shades of Creamy Matte range. It stays on my lips only for about 2-3 max. But I love the tint it leaves behind. Likes Creamy consistency. Does not dry out my lips. Very pretty colour. Affordable. Easily available. A wide range of shades available. Dislikes This particular shade, washes out my wheatish skin. This shade does not last long on my lips. Does not give matte finish as compared to other darker shades. The bullet keeps on breaking while applying it since it is very creamy. Summary The Maybelline Colorshow Creamy Matte Lipstick is high quality range with wide verity of shades. The range is very affordable too. But this particular shade Peach Personality is not for every one. Also since it is very creamy you can not expect matte finish out of this shade. I would not recommend this shade to medium to dusky skin tones.
