Makeup Studio Professional Lipstick Gypsy Coral This is a peachy nude shade which has been termed as coral only because, it has bit of coral hints too. This way it does not wash out complexion. The color is beautiful, very apt for day wear and goes with smokey eyes. Makeup Studio Professional Lipstick Fuchsia Foxy It’s a glamorous shade. It’s a cool toned pink. It sets you up in a flirtatious mode. For ultra glam look, you can go full throttle, otherwise you wanna play bit low with Fuchsia Foxy. It might wash you out if you are wheatish or dusky. Pigmentation, Texture & Longevity These lipsticks are highly pigmented as they are form a professional range. Just by looking at the bullet one can tell the intensity of the color these lipstick would deliver. The colors are insanely beautiful. I have not been able to choose my favorite among the three. Texture wise the lipsticks are very creamy and give out pearly finish which could be easily set to soft matte look. The creamy formula nourishes lips and does not feel uncomfortable when worn for long hours. The lipsticks can stay for long hours on lips even if you are munching constantly. You can expect nice 5-6 hours full color stay. Later the lipsticks leave nice tint which can be removed via a makeup remover only. Makeup Studio Pro Lipsticks, delivers high performance in terms of color and staying power. The shade collection is vast and beautiful. The professional range is very suitable for bridal affairs and for festivals when we are busy doing more important thing than checking on our lipsticks every hours. Hi. How are you holding up? This is the worst season in Delhi. There is no relief to chip-chip & sweating if you are not seating in an air conditioned room. Running errands seems like a mission. I was presented with few shades, I chose Debutante. This is a very beautiful muted pink with a hint of brown. Packaging The packaging of MyGlamm Perfect Pout 2 in 1 Matte Lipstick & Lipliner is very classy. It comes in a white & gold packaging. The outer card box contains all the product information like about, ingredients, and product manufacturing details. Inside you get a white chubby retractable pencil. The best thing is that you don’t need to sharpen the product, But the tip goes blunt after some usage. Hence using it like a lip liner becomes tricky after some time. MyGlamm Perfect Curves 2 In 1 Lipstick & Lipliner Ingredients Pigmentation & Texture This lipstick cum lipliner has a mild chocolaty fragrance. There is no weird taste. The texture is ultra creamy hence it glides on my lips very smoothly. It does not accentuate fine lines. The texture of the lipstick is very comparable to SUGAR Matte As Hell lipsticks. Pigmentation wise too, the lipstick is very good. It delivers nice opaque color in one swipe. But two swipes are more than enough to seal the color. Since the texture is creamy, the lipstick has a tendency to transfer to the objects it touches. The shades vary from pinks, peaches, nudes to bold shades in reds, plums & browns. Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick Bare It All This is a brown based nude which has some peachy hints. I generally prefer more of peachy nude, but, I kind of fell for this brownish nude as it suits my wheatish skin tone beautifully. This shade is very wearable for everyday office, casual look. And this shade is suitable for all skin types and ages. Fragrance & Texture There is very faint sweet fragrance to the lipstick. Only if you sniff it closely. Hence the fragrance does not bother sensitive noses. Texture of the lipstick is velvety soft. It glides on lips very smoothly. The texture, though, does not feel heavy like the texture of a moisture rich lipstick might feel. The lipstick gives hassle free application. Pigmentation & Finish The pigmentation of the lipstick is very nice. I really like how beautifully it covers my lips in just one swipe. The color pigments present in the lipstick give opaque finish with each application. The finish of the lipstick is semi matte which turns matte in few minutes after the lipstick has settled. I like the finish very much as it does not feel uncomfortable while looking matte. Longevity I was really awe with the performance of the lipstick when I used it for the very first time. It kind of survived mini meals and stayed for more than 3 hours on my lips. I was really impressed. Later I re applied the lipstick and it survived another few hours. For the price that we pay, the longevity is nice. Wet n Wild MegaLast Lipstick in Bare It All, performs well in all the sections as pigmentation, finish, performance & price. The lipstick glides smoothly on lips giving opaque finish which stays for long surviving mini meals in between. The price is like bargain for the quality & the performance of the lipstick. I recently came to know about Le-Felix which is a cosmetic brand from Thailand. This brand offers beauty, cosmetic & personal care for women. Thai beauty bloggers are already going gaga over the brand. The brand’s tagline is ” because everyone deserves to be beautiful…!!“. I got two liquid lipsticks & 3D Mink Eyelashes in two styles. I usually don’t wear fake eyelashes since I already have nice thick eye lashes. Also wearing and taking them off requires bit of an effort. But sometimes you make an exception. Specially when you can’t shake off the beauty of a product. Today I am going to take you on a virtual tour of Le-Felix Cosmetics including the lipsticks & eyelashes. Hop on & buckle up. Le Felix Matte Lipsticks I consider matte lipsticks a blessing. I really want to thank whomsoever invested them. They are like God Sent for me. I have really oily face and wearing a glossy finish over my lips, really accentuates my problem. Though I don’t mind flaunting a satin finish during winter, but that’s all. Le-Felix Matte Lipsticks are very light weight despite of being matte. Yes that’s actually a huge concern for me. When you talk about matte lipsticks they mostly feel like paint. They literally coat lips unnaturally and give a very cakey finish. Le Felix Matte Lipsticks give a soft matte finish to lips. The formula of the lipsticks is very fine. I like how buttery soft the formula feels on lips. The wand goes pretty smoothly over lips. The consistency of the liquid lipsticks is just perfect. It’s neither too runny nor too thick. Just perfect. The lipsticks come packaged in beautiful transparent tubes. There are some gold accents at the opening of the tube with a black wand. The packaging is nice and appealing as well as sturdy and travel friendly. Pigmentation of the lipsticks is impressive. One swipe gives opaque finish while another swipe brings beautiful color to lips. The colors set very quickly and do not transfer much. The longevity of the lipsticks is very relative to the shades though. Le Felix Matte Lipstick – LE02 This is a very pretty Deep Red shade. It is so damn flattering. It will suit every skin tone. The shade stays for about 3-4 hours on my lips and then it starts fading a bit. Le Felix Matte Lipstick – LE04 Every lipstick range must have a nude shade. LE04 is a Beautiful Nude shade from the range. I think this shade is more for light to medium skin tones while dark skin tones might wash out using this shade. I really love this shade, but its staying power is bit lower than LE02. Le Felix Professional 3D Eyelashes When you want to look special, eyelashes can really make a huge difference. There are so many styles that you can opt for. If you have small eyes, you should go for lengthening eyelashes, otherwise you opt for any style. I liked the 3D eyelashes that I received from Le Felix. The two styles that I received from the brand has a very nice length to add to my eyelashes. The outcome is amazing. The styles work beautifully on my small and deep set eyes. The eyelashes are meant for professional use. Hence the quality is top notch. The eyelashes are made of synthetic hair. How To Use Le Felix Professional 3D Eyelashes At Home? Pick out the eyelashes from the case with the help of tweezers. In case the lashes needs to be trimmed to fit your eyes, trim from the outer edge to retain the natural shape. Apply a thin line of adhesive on the eyelash band starting from the middle of the eyelashes till the end. Wait for 30 seconds and then apply the fake lashes upon your lash line. Flaunt your lashes. How To Take Care Of Your Fake Lashes? Le-Felix 3D Eyelashes are reusable. You just need to make sure that you take care of the lashes after removing them. But don’t worry, it’s not that tough. Just follow these steps: Dip a cotton swab in your eye makeup remover. Gently swipe across the lash band and lashes to clean it thoroughly. Re-swipe if the eye makeup is still there. I love SUGAR Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick Scarlett O’Hara to the core, I was so wanting to own Holly Golightly from the same range. SUGAR crayon lipsticks are among the best lipsticks for Indian skin tone. The lipsticks are parabene free & do not contain harmful chemicals. SUGAR does not test on animals. Ain’t these really great reasons to buy another piece form the brand. I bought the lipstick along with SUGAR Tic Tac Toe Nail Liquor in the same shade- Holy Golightly. I will talk about the nail paint in some other post, but today I am going to review SUGAR Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick 04 Holly Golightly today for you. I was very impressed by the texture & staying power of Scarlett O’Hara & I was lately feeling to have a n*de lip color, so I thought, why not Holly Golightly. This lip crayon is very popular among makeup lovers. I really resisted myself from getting this until now. Because I didn’t only want this but I really needed this. SUGAR says go lightly nude with this lip color which is highly pigmented, super coverage & excellent staying power. The texture is creamy yet gives matte finish which does not require reapplication again and again. The lipstick is safe for skin. Price Rs. 799 for 5gms. Buy here. Packaging The crayon lipstick comes packed inside a cardboard with abstract print. The cardboard contains graphics of a red pout, while the brand name, logo and product name are also printed on it. The ingredients list is not mentioned anywhere. The lipstick bullet is packed inside a black matte chubby pencil with light plumish-pink matte band at the bottom and a black matte cover at the mouth of the crayon. Since this is a crayon lipstick, it is shipped with a black sturdy sharpner. The crayon & the sharpner are made in Germany (imported you see :)). Variants I am a fan of these crayon lipsticks. You can also call them chubby sticks as some other brands has come up with. There are only five shades in the range: 01 Scarlett O’Hara – My favorite of them all- a beautiful red shade 02 Mary Poppins – Bright Fuschia 03 Poison Ivy – Wine 04 Holy Golightly – Nude 05 Rose Dawson – Pretty Pink Shade Description – Holy Golightly This is a pretty nude shade with peach undertones. I love peach lipsticks but they hate my skin tone. But a nude lipstick with peach undertones will suit every Indian skin tone, like this one does. This shade flatters my wheatish skin tone beautifully. The shade may look little pinkish in natural day light but looks pinkish brown indoors. Works for me. Taste, Texture & Smell This is a powdery matte lipstick. It also tastes powdery in the initial hour of application. The texture is creamy and glides on lips very smoothly without any hassle. There is practically no smell out of the crayon. Pigmentation I have never had any issues at the pigmentation front of any product from the brand, SUGAR. This lipstick is also good in pigmentation. One swipe gives nice color pay off. 2 swipes seals the color for a perfect nude pout. Staying Power SUGAR Smudge Me Not lipsticks give the longest staying power. Next I love Scarlett O’Hara for it’s performance. But the staying power of Holly Golightly is average. It stays for 2-3 hours on my lips. After meals it’s gone. But I understand, it’s a light shade, and it can not deliver as much as a bright color would. Finish The finish of this lipstick is powder-y matte. No sheen is visible on the lips even though the lipstick has creamy texture. How To Use Holly Golightly? You can wear it everyday. It would go with everything & on everyone. With bold eyes, it’s a must to go with nude lips. That’s when you can use this lipstick. While going for a no makeup look, I would love to wear this shade on my lips. Likes Pretty Nude Shade. Creamy Texture. Nice color pay off. Everyday shade. Suitable for Indian skin tones. Free of parabenes & other harmful chemicals. Dislikes Pricey. Needs to be sharpened. Summary : 4/5 Overall, this is a nice nude lip shade which gives nice color pay off and stays for decent time on my lips. I am actually wearing it every day, (I just get obsessed with every new lip shade). I do not like the fact that I have to sharpen it every now and then. I wish it was a retractable one. The packaging is very matte. The packaging looks little flimsy. Shade – Nude Love 06 I have been hoarding a lot of bold colors. Fab Bag asked me to choose my shade for this lipstick range, I went for Nude Love. I have a secret crush for nude lippies. I am glad, I chose this shade. It is peachy brown shade, my type of nude. Even though the finish is semi matte, I can make it look totally matte by blotting it with a tissue if I want. But I do not blot it right away since it loses it’s glossiness after a hour or so. And after that my lips look more beautiful with peachy brown tint on my lips. Texture The texture of this lipstick is very creamy & smooth. I like how it feels on my lips. It does not feel waxy. The quality is good. The brand claims that it is enriched with Vitamin E, which I think is a plus point. This surely moisturizes my lips instead of drying them. Pigmentation The pigmentation of this lipstick is decent. It gives nice color pay off. The color shows well even on pigmented lips. The color can be built further on without making lips looking patchy. I apply at max 2 coats for perfect color on my lips. Finish The finish of this lipstick is semi matte. There is no utterly glossiness, but a bit of sheen is present. I generally prefer matte lipsticks. I blot my glossy lipsticks. I mostly wear it as it is since it loses its glossiness within an hour. Longevity Even though it loses it’s glossiness within an hour but it never loses it’s color. It provides nice tint to lips which stays for 3-4 hours on my lips. This totally works for me. I can have in between meals and still flaunt tinted lips. How cool is that? Likes Moisturizing on lips. Beautiful shade- Nude Love. Very very affordable. Lasts for 3-4 hours. Dislikes Flimsy packaging. Loses sheen after an hour. (not a con for me) Summary : ❤❤❤❤ This is a new range of lipsticks which are highly affordable but with quality product. The shade Nude Love, from SLV, is very nice peachy brown shade, makes a perfect nude color. The lipstick is moisturizing and enriched with Vitamin E. Would like to try more shades from this range. Feels like you first crush… huh? I am going to share two lippies from my kitty which suit your every day wear. I sometimes wonder, Indian brands are doing so good. They deliver nice products with comparable performance with that of the high brands at so much cheaper rates. You just need to lean to them and embrace them without shying of the cheap tag. Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color Put on Color Essence Mesmerizing Lip Color to look pretty in an instant. The unique coriander and basil extract with SPF-15 gives you a full coverage look with satin, smooth finish and long wear texture. After application it immediately brightens up your face. Soft, creamy texture makes application easy. Your lips will be moisturized for long time as it has staying power of minimum three hours. With good pigmentation it nourishes your lips from dryness. It has pleasant, soothing smell. Available in 32 different shades you have new color for each morning. Price Rs. 200 for 4gms. Texture & Smell These are creamy and moisturizing lipticks. I never noticed any weird smell. Pigmentation The pigmentation is average but build-able. Some colors are more pigmented than others. Like Forever Rose is more pigmented than Nude Suede. Packaging These lipsticks come in a black sleek packaging. I quite like the packaging. But you can’t make out the colour of the lipstick until you look at the bottom where the shade is mentioned. Finish They finish is little creamy. And hence these lippies transfer while you drink or eat. Staying Power Since these are creamy lipsticks they don’t stay for long. Nude Suede lasts for maximum 2 hours while Forever Rose lasts for 3-4 hours and leaves a tint behind. Shade Description Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color in Nude Suede This is a nude shade, and I just love this color. This particular lipstick contains very fine shimmer. Not much visible on lips though. Buy from here. Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color in Forever Rose This is a bright pink (my kind of pink) colour. It instantly brighten up my face even on a dull day. This lipstick is quite pigmented since it’s bright colour. Buy from here. Summary : 3.5/5 Not all shades are equally pigmented and stay on your lips, but these are quite a bargain for the price you pay. Bright colors from this range are more pigmented and stay longer than the dull colors. Choose accordingly. I have found Blue Heaven Lipsticks perform better and are cheaper.
