Guest Post by Sam Sheokand Oil control, acne control, neem, tea tree oil etc are the key words, that attracts me towards face washes specially during summer. I have oily skin, which is acne prone too. For me oil control leads to acne control too. Oil & dirt are the basic reason behind my acne spots. I make sure to keep my skin oil & dirt free. Aroma Magic is a trusted brand. It hardly fails on my skin. When I spotted Aroma Magic Neem & Tea Tree Face Wash online, on Amazon, I instantly added it to my cart. I am going to share my experience with this face wash. Hope it helps you too, if you have oily skin like mine. About Aroma Magic Neem & Tea Tree Face Wash Aroma Magic is an old & very reputed brand. It caters to our skin, hair & body care needs. It offers quality products at affordable prices. Aroma Magic Neem & Tea Tree face wash, is formulated with Neem, Tea Tree oil, Rose Extracts & Lavender Oil mainly. The face wash is free of artificial coloring, alcohol, parabene, soap & fragrance. Neem & Rose extracts helps to cure acne while Tea Tree Oil & Lavender Oil soothes skin irritation and prevents blackheads. Vitamins present in the face wash helps to lighten the ark spots while revealing even toned skin. Price Rs. 135 for 100ml. Buy here. Ingredients Packaging The face wash comes in a very attractive & refreshing packaging. It comes in ombre green colored plastic bottle with a flip top cap at the top. On the front of the plastic bottle there are some beautiful flowers printed while at the back all the information about the face wash has been printed. Color, Texture & Smell It is yellowish green colored gel type face wash which lathers well while diluted with water. face washing with this face wash becomes a rejuvenating experience as it smells mainly of tea tree oil. The smell is not overpowering but is pleasant. Washing off the face wash does not require much effort, but requires as much water as any other gel based face wash would require. My Experience With Aroma Magic Neem & Tea Tree Face Wash Acne control/oil control face washes are generally drying in nature. They dry out skin so much that skin produces more oil as a result. Which totally beats the benefits of using an oil control face wash. Aroma Magic Neem & Tea Tree Face Wash, is a non drying face wash. It does not dry out my skin even a bit. I do not feel any stretchy feeling after washing my face with this face wash. I think Rose Extracts moisturizes skin while Neem & Tea Tree Oil cleanses it. This is my second bottle of this face wash. Since summers knocked on our doors early this year, my skin was producing a lot of oil and would feel sticky after 2 hours of through cleansing. But this face wash is proving to be very effective. My skin feels normal & balanced, no dryness, no oiliness. My skin is behaving like a good girl. As a result my face is spots free too. The face wash is economical, as little amount of the gel face wash is required for each application. Likes Gel based refreshing face wash. Contains Neem, Tea Tree Oil, Lavender Oil & Rose Extracts. Free of parabenes, artificial colors, fragrance & soap. Lathers well. Does not dry out skin. Controls oil & keeps skin fresh for long hours. Normalizes skin with regular usage. Specially meant for oily skin. Affordable & economical. Dislikes None Summary : 5/5 This is one hell of an oil balancing face wash that I have come across. I love everything about it, the herbal composition, the gel based texture, the smell & the affordable pricing. It is a must try face wash for oily skin beauties. Which face wash do you use during summer? Have you used this face wash? Leave your comments. Love.

Guest Post By Sreeparna I have extremely pimple prone skin since my teen years. Especially in summer time, my super oily skin invites more and more acne breakouts. Over the years I have seen that Neem based cleansers seem to suit me. So, whenever I discover a new Neem face wash I promptly buy that. Today I am going to compare the performances of two of the bestseller Neem face washes. Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash Vs. Patanjali Neem & Tulsi Face Wash Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash To begin with, Himalaya Herbals’ Purifying Neem Face Wash is the most effective and fuss-free face wash of all the facial cleansers that I have come across till now. I am using it on and off for 5-6 years now. Over the years, I have noticed no difference in quality of this product for which I must appreciate the quality control at Himalaya Herbals. I get bored of using the same face wash every time for long so every now and then I reach for other products. But, whenever my acne prone combination skin gets into trouble I promptly come back to this. That is why you will be able to find this product in my vanity all the time. I generally buy the 100ml or 150ml tube but this time I opted for the biggest pack, their shower friendly inverted bottle pack to minimize the number of repurchases. Below are a few points, I thought, are worth mentioning about this amazing product: The active ingredients are Neem and Turmeric Available in 6 sizes; priced at Rs.15 for 15ml, Rs.60 for 50ml, Rs.110 for 100ml, Rs.140 for 150ml, Rs.170 for 200ml and Rs.230 for 300ml Cleanses skin deeply without over-drying Fragrance is good but minimal Does not cause new breakouts or aggravates the existing ones Patanjali Neem & Tulsi Face Wash I saw this Neem & Tulsi face wash by Patanjali at a friend’s vanity and the packaging kind of attracted me. Finally, I had a chance to buy it last summer. I used it for a week or two but did not like it that much then because I needed a stronger cleanser back then. It sat there in my washroom closet for months before I started using it in the end months of winter this year. This time, however, it performed well as my skin was not that much oily and pimple-prone in those colder days. Though this cleanser has nice fragrance and decent oil cleansing capability without over-drying the skin it felt like just another cleanser to me due to two major reasons. Firstly, it was unable to cleanse out my pores properly so small bumps of clogged pores started to appear after a few days of continuous usage. I think, people who have normal skin which is not very pimple-prone like mine would not face this problem. And secondly, to getting rid of this cleanser from the face completely is a tedious task involving extra time, extra water and extra effort. Here are a few goods and bad-s of this product from my point of view: Key ingredients are Neem, Aloe Vera and Tulsi (Holy Basil) Priced at Rs.45 for 60gm Cleanses skin from oil and dirt without making it extra dry Smells really nice (my favourite part!) but the fragrance seems artificial Caused me bumps of clogged pores SUMMARY Himalaya Patanjali Suitable For Oily-to-combination skin Oily-to-combination skin Availability Easy Easy Consistency Medium Medium Colour Greenish Yellow Yellow Texture Gel based Gel Based Lather Production Less Less Fragrance Mild, Herbal Floral, more intense Cleansing Capability Better Good Causes Pimple No Zits of clogged pores Dehydrates Skin No No These were my experiences on two of the most popular Neem based facial cleansers in India. Hope these points would help to choose the best affordable product for your skin type. Love.
