Black Mess, the name may sound a bit unconventional for a beauty product but that’s what makes it more exotic. After a long time, Ryaal Black Mess, came as something, that I really wanted to try out. Its name, its packaging, its ingredients, I mean everything was just very intriguing. It’s one mess that I really wanted to slather myself on. Thanks, Ryaal for sending out this tub, it’s such a luxurious experience to use this 3 In 1 product i.e. mask, scrub & cleanser. Let’s check out what makes it so magical apart from being a messy kid. Ryaal Black Mess Mask, Scrub & Cleanser It is a specially formulated 3 in 1 product that contains Activated Charcoal, Fullers Earth, Moroccos Lava Clay & Organic Dead Sea Mud, etc. Activated Charcoal along with other clays soaks up all the oil & other impurities. Sugar & Walnut extracts exfoliate skin mildly while Aloe Vera & Glycerin moisturizes the skin. Peppermint & Tea Tree oils keep trouble away. Use this mask-scrub-cleanser every day to maintain healthy skin. The product can be used as a cleanser daily and as a mask twice every week. Ingredients I have pretty messy skin myself loaded with acne, oil & dark spots. So when I read the ingredients I was pretty impressed. Activated Charcoal, Kaolin Clay, Fullers Earth, Rhassoul Mud (Moroccos Lava Clay), Organic Dead Sea Mud, Aloe Vera Extract, Peppermint Oil, Australian Tea Tree Oil, Sugar (Sucrose), Juglans Regia (Walnut) Shell Powder, Glycerin, , Xanthum Gum Price & Availability Rs. 499 for 125g. The product is available at Amazon Shelf Life 24 Months from the manufacturing date. Packaging It comes in a black matte tub which makes it really tempting. The tub packaging is a bit unhygienic so I always use a spatula to take out the product. There is also a transparent plastic lid over the tub mouth to avoid any spillage. The details about the product are labeled across the tub. I bet you can’t miss the quirky tag line this product has -” I maybe messy myself, but I promise to leave your skin mess-free” Fragrance & Texture It mostly smells of Peppermint Oil and gives a nice cooling sensation to my skin upon application which proves that the mask contains a nice amount of essential oils. This dark grey colored face mask is really smooth in texture and spreads easily on my face. It is a clay mask hence goes dry pretty soon. How To Use Ryaal Black Mess? This dark-colored mask looks really messy and feels like it will stain everything it will touch. But no, it’s really easy to use it without staining your bathroom sink. Scoop out some product out of the tub. Spread it over your face & neck. Leave for a few minutes until it’s semi-dry. Gently massage the face mask moist hands. Rinse with cold water. Don’t forget to wipe off your bathroom sink. 😛 My Experience I love smearing it over my face. I am in love with the smooth velvety texture of this mask. The way it smells, makes me wanna sniff it again and again. I actually love myself seeing all clad in this mask. “Baby, I am addicted.” It does not happen very often. It happens seldom that I like something so much. First of all, it was the cute black packaging of the black mess. Next is it’s texture & fragrance. The real deal is its efficacy on my acne-prone & sensitive skin. I actually like Ryaal Black Mess so much that I made my husband try out this product. Let me tell you why I am so impressed with this mask apart from the superficial factors. I am going through a crazy skin phase with a lot of eruptions. I am actually on medication. When I used this mask for the very first time, it really healed one of my big cystic pimples. Really in just one use, there was a huge difference. Even though my Dermatologist has asked me not to use any face pack sort of thing over my face, I still sneak into this luxurious experience. It really helps to calm down active acne. I find myself reaching for it every now and then. How Messy Is Black Mess? It is a bit messy like any other clay mask. Since it is an activated charcoal-based mask it definitely is messier but as I said earlier, it does not stain. It washes off from your skin as well as the bathroom sink very well. Do I Recommend Ryaal Black Mess? Hell Yes. It’s an amazing product. I am really glad Ryaal formulated something so potent. Packaging The sachet facial scrub comes in a light brown colored sachet which is to be cut at the top to take out the product. The sachet has labels describing the product, ingredients and usage directions. The sachet is not reusable hence the product must be transferred to an air tight container to avoid any moisture. How To Use? Cut the sachet from the top, take out some powder in a clean glass bowl. Add milk, curd, rose water or water to make a spreadable paste. Apply a thin layer over your face and neck. Rub gently over skin. Rinse with water. In case you have dry skin add few drops of honey. Fragrance & Texture It has quite herbal smell and mostly smell of grains & pulses. I can’t exactly put my finger on the specific ingredients though. It is a fine powder, so I was bit skeptic if it would be able to give a scrubbing effect. I leave it on my face for 2-3 minutes and start scrubbing gently. That way it works as a regular scrub. My Experience As I mentioned above, it is very fine powder, not much grainy as you would rather want a scrub to be. The reason behind this fact is that this scrub from Vedantika is a daily scrub and hence gives mild exfoliation. You can actually use it as a cleanser cum exfoliater. I mix it with rose water or water since I have oily skin. And then apply it in a light layer over my face and neck. I let it stay for about a minute or two so that I can get some nice scrubbing effect form this daily scrub. It does not feel harsh, drying or uneven while rubbing the still moist paste. It actually feels like a homemade ubtan. Post rinse, my face is all smooth & soft. No dry flakes or dead skin cells to be noticed. Also it does not dry out skin. I like there is not even a single chemical used in the scrub. It’s totally natural & safe for every skin type. But make sure to patch test before using any organic or natural product, since natural ingredients can too sometime create trouble for sensitive skin. Do I Recommend Vedantika Herbals Natural Spa Facial Scrub? Yes, I do. This is an all natural facial scrub which is also mild yet effective for daily use. Even though I do not use it daily since I am on medication right now, I used it last week twice before Karwa Chauth. It definitely helped giving a naturally soft & supple skin. Skin did not feel stretchy or dry afterwords. Verdict Vedantika Herbals Natural Spa Facial Scrub, contains all natural ingredients while being affordable. It works for every skin type and does not irritate sensitive or acne prone skin because it is gentle enough. It gives a feeling of homemade ubtan. Fuschia Activated Charcoal Detoxifying Face & Body Scrub : Review

It does not matter how many Parabene & Cruelty free brands are present in market, Fuschia have marked it’s presence brilliantly. I took it as just any other brand. But no, it’s not. It’s USP, is the fact that it’s products are handmade, curated to have a special experience by it’s users. The natural ingredients that it uses may not be unique but surely are picked carefully from around the world. Today I am going to speak about Activated Charcoal Detoxifying Face & Body Scrub by Fuschia. Activated Charcoal is the hottest topic on the web right now. Every brand is coming up with activated charcoal based products. Fuschia shipped this charcoal based face & body scrub few days back to me along with a face pack and a beautiful lip balm. You can check out my instagram post about the products here. I have been using the products since then. And I feel I should review the scrub today before it’s over. Fuschia Activated Charcoal Detoxifying Face & Body Scrub The scrub is enriched with activated charcoal, aloe vera & wheatgerm oil. Activated charcoal absorbs toxins & germs from skin while Aloe vera soothes and wheatgerm moisturizes skin gently. The scrub is ideal fit for oily & acne prone skin. The scrub is free of parabenes, SLS & phathalets. Ingredients Activated Charcoal, Aloe Vera, Wheatgerm, Olive Oil. As simple as it could get. Price & Availability The scrub is priced at Rs. 450 for 100gms. This is looking bit pricey at fist glance. But scrubs generally lasts for long duration since, you always need just a bit to work with every time. The scrub can be bought from Fuschia website or other shopping websites. The brand is not available offline though. Fragrance & Texture This is a fine grained grey colored scrub. It actually works like a skin polish would. It has bit of slippery texture when you first apply it on skin. But after you start working with it, it gives a nice experience. It is easy to wash away. Also does not dry out skin since it contains the goodness of olive oil & wheatgerm oil. Fragrance wise, I can’t really put down my finger on it. But it is mild yet intriguing. Does not irritate my nose. My Experience This scrub is meant to be used for oily to acne prone skin mainly, which is exactly my skin. I also like to use scrub every 2-3 days to get rid of dead skin, otherwise my pores get clogged. So I mostly like to use tea tree based scrubs but I was quite impressed by the ingredient list of this charcoal based scrub. Charcoal is supposed to draw out impurities out of your skin. This scrub does nothing less. I apply this scrub over my face and let it stay there for 2-3 minutes and later scrub it off gently massaging. The scrubbing gr annuals are gentle yet effective. I really can see a clearer skin after taking off the scrub. It means it takes away the dead skin very effectively without hurting my sensitive skin. Since I received a sample only, I did not use it over my body, otherwise I would have gotten only one use out of it. I am sure it would work as an excellent body scrub too. Will I Repurchase Fuschia Activated Charcoal Scrub? I absolutely want to. I am sure the 100gm version would last me for many months since I am going to use it for my face only. I am also trying out Botanic Love Tea Tree Scrub, which is another delicacy. I have been alternating between these two scrubs and feel like this is a nice combo. Likes The product is from a brand which is cruelty free. Also uses all natural ingredients. The scrub is free of parabenes, SLS, Phathalets, synthetic dyes etc. The grannuals of the scrub are even and are gentle on skin. Suits my oily, acne prone & sensitive skin. Does not irritate existing acne on my face. Gives a clearer & brighter face. Does not dry out skin. Does not feel sticky over skin. Dislikes The tub packaging is not really preferable when it comes to skin care. One must take utmost care of hygiene before touching the product or use a spatula. The price is bit on higher side but I don’t see this much of a con since it is all natural, effective & would last for a long time. Do I Recommend This Face & Body Scrub? I absolutely would want you to try it out. Even if you have dry or normal skin type, you would love it’s effect. The oils present in the scrub nourishes skin without making it feel oily or sticky. The even grannuals work effectively to get rid of the dead skin. Activated Charcoal really suck out all the impurities out of skin.
