My Envy Box May 2017 : Review

Hello, I was already feeling little tired & lazy today and then on the top, my May Subscription Box from #MyEnvyBox turned out to be an average one. It arrived today in the morning. I was not expecting it, yet, it showed. Great. Next I opened the box to check out the products of this months. I was greeted by 2 broken ampoules which were supposed to be the samples of Omofree skin toner. There was nothing left in the tiny glass bottles and the small amount of toner packed in the bottles, was all soaked up by the box itself. Next I located few samples from L’Occitane. There was a sachet (the tiniest & the thinnest they could make) of hand cream. There were another two even more tiny sachets of face cream and serum. What’s the point? Single usage samples really put me off. They are useless. Here is the list of the products that I got in #myenvybox. The Nature’s Co Mango Creme Body Wash (Rs. 695 for 150ml) Cheryl’s Dermashade Sunblock SPF 30 (Rs. 550 for 50gm) GreCobe – Green Coffee (Rs. 70 for 1 Sachet, Rs. 540 for 30 sachets) Fuschia Herbal Fusion Shampoo (Rs. 450 for 100ml) L’occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream (Single usage sachet) L’occitane Reine Blanche Illuminating Serum (Single usage sachet) L’occitane Reine Blanche Illuminating Cream (Single usage sachet) Omorfee – Mellow Drizzle Skin Toner – Found broken 🙁 Let’s move on to the good part of the box. Actually the box itself is a treat to eyes. The light green colored box has water melon slices printed all over. My son really liked the box as he loves water melon very much. The Nature’s Co Mango Cream Body Wash It smells of Mangoes of course. I love mangoes (who does not), but I can’t eat them since they break my skin like hell. It would be relaxing to use a Mango body wash instead. After all, the aroma of mangoes is as exotic as it’s taste. Heavenly Sweet. Cheryl’s Dermashade Sunblock The sunblock is a nice addition to the box. I have used Cheryl’s Dermacleanse face wash for acne, and I was really impressed. The sunblock is something unspoken necessity all year long. This sunblock is supposed to suit all skin type. I shall try it on my oily & acne prone skin. It is bit costly than other regular sun blocks giving the amount of SPF it has (only 30). But may be it has got some other hidden benefits. Will let you know. GreCobe – The Green Coffee Just one sachet? Not fair. But I would try it. Though I am a tea lover, or would go for a cold coffee, if I have to. I have promised myself to get over my addiction to tea and try healthy alternates. Not a fan of Green Tea though, but who knows Green Coffee can hook me up. Fuschia Herbal Fusion Shampoo I have been seeing my fellow bloggers to rave about this new brand a lot. Now it’s time that I too try it. Fuschia claims that this is a handmade shampoo containing more of herbal ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Brahmi, Shikakai, Lemon Extracts, Amla Extracts and some very good essential oils. This sounds very exotic. Will be happy to try it. L’Occitane En Provence Samples This is a premium luxury brand and is really costly too. Hence, they send out only single usage sachets. Which I think does not serve much purpose. How can a cosmetic product be so potent that it will work in the very first use. I have used such a sample from Smytten Box also, which did not deliver much in single use. Omofree – Mellow Drizzle Skin Toner This is a new brand. I was not aware of Omofree, before receiving its sample in my box. The skin toner was packed in two 2ml glass ampules which were found broken as I opened the box. I can see a wet spot in the box. So this was My Envy Box for May 2017. I think you must be already aware of the products since the brand releases a video of the products even before shipping out the box. That kills all the suspense. Fab Bag is much good in keeping it’s products undisclosed (well, most of them) until you receive them. About the may box, It is a decent box, if I overlook the broken vile & single usage L’Occitane samples. The body wash, shampoo & sun block are decently sized products to deliver many uses. My Envy Box – April 2017 : Review

#MyEnvyBox has a great timing. It comes in the mid of every month. Fab Bag arrives the very first week of every month. My Envy Box arrives about the 15th of every month. So I get to enjoy new products every 15 days. That really calms down my inner shopaholic & hoarder. Above all I love the sturdy boxes that My Envy Box sends out. The boxes are uniquely designed and makes a nice gift too. I mostly gift away the subscription boxes/bags that I receive. This month’s Envy Box is unqily designed and has handpicked items that I would love to try out this month. I really admire the Suitacase-Box into which my 5 products were packed. There are 2 makeup products, 2 face care products & 1 foot soak. What I received in #MyEnvyBox April 2017: Ruby’s Organics Lipstick – Burgundy 016 (Rs. 990 for 3.7gm) Organic Mill – Foot Soak (R. 250 for 100gm) Kinetics SolarGel Nail Polish – Splatter It (Rs. 475 for 15ml) Tvakh – 5% Vitamin CGlow Booster Exfoliating Water (Rs. 525 for 200ml) Kronkare Body Lotion ( Rs. 1095 for 500ml) I got 3 full sized while two decently sized samples. Let me give you an overview of the products. Ruby’s Organics Lipstick – Burgundy 016 Lipsticks are always welcome in my vanity. I don’t know how many burgundy lipsticks I already own, but this is the latest addition to my lipstick stash. Ruby’s Organics uses natural & organic ingredients to formulate it’s products. This lipstick is creamy on lips but gives soft matte finish while giving the benefits of Mango & Shea Butter to help lips soften. The lipstick also contains castor oil & Almond oil providing lips a boost of anti oxidants. The lipsticks comes in retractable pencil form, which makes it easy to use & travel friendly too. Organic Mills- Foot Soak Peppermint based foot soaks really does the trick to sooth down foot aches after a long hot day. This foot soak from Organic Mills is definitely going to come handy while I need some relaxing time at home for my feet. I got this foot soak in full size of 100gm. I think this is quite an affordable product. Kinetics SolarGel Nail Polish – Splatter It This is another full size product in my envy box, a nail polish from Kinetics. This can actually work as a top coat, or as a nail polish as well since it is clear gel containing some random colored particles inside. Kinetics promises 10 days of wear. Shall test it out. It’s just little costly at 475. Tvakh 5% Vitamin C Glow Booster Exfoliating Water My acne prone skin loves Vitamin C based products. I literally jumped with joy when I saw this Glow Gel from Tvakh in my envy box. This is just like water containing Vitamin C, Glycolic acid & Tea Tree oil, an ideal composition for oily & acne prone skin. It has mild & pleasant smell. Very excited to test it out. I got a 100ml bottle which will give many uses out of it. Kronkare Body Lotion As I opened the sample bottle of body lotion from Kronkare, there was a strong smell which I didn’t like much. But the body lotion is very lightweight & got absorbed into the skin very quickly. Will be using it on my forthcoming trip. These were the products from my latest envy box. Most of the products are usable. The box is not that exotic as was the last month, but still, it makes a good deal. Shall post my reviews on the products very soon. Keep calm & stay happy. Love.

Have a sneak peak inside My Envy Box: All good Scents – Vials – Rose & Jasmine Who does not like a nice fragrance, and I am a fan of All Good Scents fragrances. I was thrilled to see two vials in my box – Rose & Jasmine. First I opened & applied Jasmine, I liked it. Then I sniffed Rose, & I liked it more. No doubt I would prefer Rose over Jasmine any day. These fragrances are definitely delicate, feminine & wearable. The full product (50 ml) is priced at Rs. 1190. Will make a nice gift. Essence Lip Liner – Red Blush This is a full size product that I got in my box. We mostly let go the need of a lip liner since it is tedious to get a matching lip liner every time we buy a new lipstick. But I will be able to pair up this Red Lip Liner (Red Blush) with all of my red lipsticks. The full product (1gm) size comes at Rs. 129. Gardner Street Tea- Glow Okay, this is not a beauty product since it is a tea, but this product works from the within. This is a wonderful blend of Hibiscus & Marigold giving you a detoxification recipe while enjoying that evening tea. I received 3 tea bags priced at 70 rupees. While 20 sachet will cost about Rs. 450. Eyova- Hair Oil I have read about this hair oil a lot. Never gave it a try. This is a natural egg oil for hair. It is little pricey but promising. Happy to receive this oil in my bag, that too in full size. This is priced at Rs. 590 for 50ml. Wikka – Beauty Potion As the name suggest it is an anti ageing potion, with the goodness of Aloe Vera, Avocado, Patchouli & Chamomile Essential Oils. Wikka claims that the potion reduces, fine lines, age spots & wrinkles making your skin feel younger every day. The is priced at Rs. 700 for 15 gm & I received it in full size too. Wow. Hope it works for my oily and acne prone skin. Neroli Coffee & Cocoa Body Wraps Body wraps are so in to reduce cellulite & achieve healthy skin. Neroli makes natural products & I have used few ubtans from this brand earlier. This is going to be helpful in calming down my senses in coming summer days. It is priced at Rs. 550 for 75 gms. Another full size product for me. Overall I totally loved this edition of My Envy Box, it’s worth more than 2k bucks. I am going to enjoy using all the products from this box.
