I feel a mascara is an amazing invention. Just this one product can make your eyes talking. Most of the women would choose a mascara if they are asked to choose one makeup product they cannot survive without. Even if you have naturally thick eyelashes you still love the dramatic effect a mascara gives to your eyes. That’s what I use a mascara for. Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara is from my birthday haul. My Maybelline Volume Express Falsies Washable was getting over and I was thinking to get a water proof mascara this time, but my fickle mind. I again settled for a washable one. But I do not regret getting another washable mascara because I kind of find it a nuisance to get rid of wash proof mascaras without loosing some of my lashes in the process. I like to dress up specially in this festive occasion and this beautiful tube of mascara accompanies me every single time. Does that give you an idea how much I have been liking it? So let me make you walk through the more details of Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara in Extreme Black. Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara creates the magic you seek. It is a lash multiplying & hence volume enhancing mascara. The non clumpy Extreme Volume formula creates extreme volume for those dramatic pair of eyes. It gives a lift to the lashes & curves them perfectly. Eyes look brighter, wider & more seductive. Price & Availability It does not just mean Sumptuous but it is expensive for a mascara… We can’t complain since it’s from Estee Lauder. In Indian market it is available anywhere between 2000-2500 INR for 2.8 ml. You can find it our Nykaa as well as some international shopping websites such as Strawberry. Offline it is available at the Estee Lauder counters. Packaging The piece I have got comes in a conventional black tube with a beautiful gold long cap cum applicator. Estee Lauder logo, mascara name, and other details are printed over the black tube in gold. It gives the tube a very luxe feeling. The tube is really small you can hide it in the palm of your hand. The applicator brush of the mascara if coarse and literally gives a nice combing effect to lashes while coating them effectively. Shades 01 Extreme Black 02 Brown I got Extreme Black which is utterly black and shows on eye lashes very beautifully. My Experience With Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara A black mascara is like a basic necessity. If you use one, then only you realize what difference it can make instantly to your eyes. You an skip kajal if you are using mascara as kajal. I am sure Indians have craze for kajal too but no one can deny the importance of a mascara we have in our life.. errr.. on eyes. Coming to Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara, it is nicely pigmented. Has great non clumping formula which coats eye lashes beautifully & effortlessly. Even though I have small eyes, but my lashes are naturally curved and hence it works perfectly in shaping them more curvy while enhancing the volume. I also like the fact that the formula does not chip off after wearing it for hours. It can last all day long if I do not wash my face. It is easy to take off the mascara. A normal face wash can take it off completely. But I would suggest to rather dissolve it using almond oil or oil based makeup remover to prevent drying off the eye area. Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara in Extreme Black is a luxurious way to treat your eye lashes. It lifts eye lashes while giving nice volume. The non clumpy formula is quick dry too. The luxe packaging catches your eyes but will surely burn a hole a in your pocket. That was all about this beautiful mascara from Estee LAuder. There is one more thing that I like from Estee Lauder, it’s Double Wear Foundation which is another popular product from the brand. Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara is a chubby lady promising to give extreme curl, length & volume to your eye lashes. Essence is a lovable brand I have used many lipsticks & eye shadows from the brand. I like the quality and pricing of the brand. Let’s go ahead with the review of I ❤ Extreme Volume Mascara, for your eyes only – pun intended 🙂 Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara contains ultra black pigments covering each lash color intensive and a large brush for stunning volume. Mascara for Extreme Volume Ultra Black Opthalmologically tested. Price Rs. 349 for 12ml. Buy here. Packaging I love Extreme Volume Mascara is packaged in a chubby black plastic tube with a black wand screwed-in at the top. I ❤ Extreme Volume Mascara is printed in bright pink fancy font while few lines about the mascara are printed horizontally along the tube. The packaging appeals to me. The applicator provided with the mascara is quite dense & has criss-cross bristles (as they say in any toothbrush ad). That is how Essence plans to deliver volume to eye lashes coating every single lash with rich pigmentation. My Experience The pigmentation of the mascara is decent. Although it is a black mascara, but when I swatched it on my hand the color looked more of kind of black and not super black. But as long as it works in lengthening & Curling my eye lashes I do not have any issues with the color of the mascara. Also full throttle black colored mascaras give you very dramatic eyes which does not suit to everyday look. Coming on the effects of the mascara, I like that it does a wonderful job in giving curl & little more volume to my eye lashes. It won’t give you falsies effect, but will give you a totally awake look. This is not a water proof mascara, so ladies do not wear it on rainy days or during swimming. The mascara can give you racoon eyes if you splash water on your eyes. The mascara does not require much efforts to get off the eyelashes, because it’s not a washproof version. I personally do not like to use water resistant mascara until it’s a must. I feel it is one affordable & affordable mascara like Maybelline Falsies one for your everyday mascara needs. Likes Gives nice curl & volume. Comes with nice applicator. Attractive packaging. Quick dry formula. Does not clump much. Good for every day purpose. Easy on pocket. Does not irritate eyes. Dislikes Not washproof. No ingredient list is provided. Concluding the post, Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara, is an everyday budget friendly mascara to give nice lift & volume to eyelashes. The mascara packaging is easy on eyes & the applicator is a nice one with dense bristles packed in a criss-cross pattern. The mascara is not washproof. Mascara is one of those basic things that a girl, who is even a little bit into makeup, must have one. For that awake look, girls go gaga over their HG mascara. An ideal mascara should be good enough to give a curl, length & volume simultaneously. I too like to use one, since I have small and deep set eyes. A mascara is essential to look sharp. In my January’s Fab Bag, I received a mascara from SUGAR Cosmetics as a bonus since I subscribed for 6 months straight. I am a big fan of Sugar Lipsticks. The day I received Sugar Liquid Lipstick, I could not keep away and I have been wearing it every day. Never used any mascara from Sugar until now since Maybelline The Falsies is doing fine for my lashes. Let me tell you how the mascara fared on my lashes. About SUGAR Lash Mob Limitless Mascara SUGAR claims that this is a magic wand to turn you from Plain Jane to Queen Bee. It promises to provide a clump free formula while giving volume to your lashes with out making your eyes feel heavy. The mascara wand has micro bristles to coat each and every lash and giving dramatic eyes. The formula is clump free means only volume without clumsy lashes. The formula is free of parabenes, talc & artificial fragrances. Even taking off this mascara is super easy. Only massaging with warm water will loosen up the formula. And without rubbing your eyes you can take it off completely. Price Rs. 699 for 9ml. Buy here. The outer packaging contains the mascara name and ingredients while the mascara tube holds only the name of the mascara and the shade which is “Black With A Bang” in white colour. The packaging is matte and classy. Shade – 01 Black With A Bang SUGAR released only one shade of this mascara- 01 Black With A Bang. May be it plans to release more shades in future. It is Black as the shade name screams loudly. I feel it is not the blackest black that you would want your black mascara to be. The colour could have been more intense. Texture & Smell It is creamy and smooth textured mascara, goes on eye lashes smoothly if I can manage to take out enough product from the mascara tube. I feel the mascara is little dried up or something is wrong with my piece. It does not smell strong but it has hints of a chemically smell. My Experience I have used it 4-5 times by now. After using L’Oreal’s mascara for a long time, I appreciate Maybelline The Fasies a lot. I like what it does to my lashes without making them feeling heavy. I was expecting the same thing from SUGAR’s mascara too. The formula is non clumpy, looks natural also does not make my eye lashes feel heavy, but it lacks the ability to provide that much claimed volume or high drama. The formula is lightweight and hence fails to deliver the volume claim too. Rest what you expect form a mascara. It’s good to wear nothing if it cannot provide you even little volume or length. It does not make much difference. Sorry SUGAR, but this mascara could not impress me, while I totally adore your lippies. Likes Lightweight & non clumpy formula. Looks natural. Sleek & classy packaging. Formula is free of parabenes, talc & artifical fragrance. Dislikes High on claims, low on delivery. Does not provide much volume. Pricey. Summary : ❤❤❤ Even though the formula is parabene free, lightweight & clump-free, this mascara could not impress me much. First it’s pricey, second it does not deliver that much promised dramatic eyes. I would not recommend this mascara. Don’t want to use a mascara? Grow those lashes naturally. Ciao.

My Budget Makeup Essentials

It’s going to be a quick post about the makeup products I use mostly everyday. All the products are budget products, easily available. Suit my and skin tone & type. I started wearing the Pond’s BB Cream about 3 years ago, and since then, it’s been with me. I like the natural finish it gives to my skin. Unlike Lakme’s CC cream, it does not give any white cast. Maybelline’s Super Fresh Compact is new addition to my vanity, but is really promising. Before this I used to wear Lakme 9 to 5 compact. I will review these two very soon. On good skin days, I like to wear some blush. Mostly it’s cheeky Glow, but winters are good to fluent creamy blushes too. City Color Cheeky Stain is a warm toned cream blush which I mostly prefer because of it’s natural finish. Cover Girl Lip Gloss was another budget find incidentally. It’s very beautiful every day wear shade. L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique, was unintentional buy, but proved to be a good buy. Will try to review it soon. I don’t like high drama mascaras for daily wear. Maybelline’s The Falsies gives very natural looking eye lashes. I don’t know why but I am just so in love with this eye palette from Makeup Revolution. It has got versatile colors to give you awesome looks for day and night. I am just short on time today, otherwise would have added more stuff to the post. Gotta run some errands before the day ends. High On Colour : MUA Coloured Mascaras

I think you know how much I like coloured mascaras. Coloured Mascaras are a new way to add colours to eyes. Just a wand of colour and all eyes are on you. I have written about the coloured mascara from Colorbar. Today while I was looking for something, I found 3 sleek tubes of coloured mascaras lying at the back of my dresser. Thought let me introduce you to hidden stars of my my vanity, MUA Coloured Mascaras in Mint Green, Blue & Pink i.e. shade no 2,6 & 7. MUA Coloured Mascaras are available in many shades like black, brown, green, pink, blue etc. They are all gorgeous shades. Full of colours. I have got three shades, but I always kind of want more of them. Maybe someday I will get all of them. Price: Retails at Rs. 700 for 5 ml, but available on Jabong.com for only some 200 bucks. (Great deal I guess) Packaging: Comes in a colour coded opaque tube with wand at the top. Travel Friendly. Does not leak. Pigmentation & Consistency: Among all the three shades I got, blue & pink are the most pigmented, while the green one does not pay off much colour wise. Texture is smooth. Goes on the lashes easily. The formula dries off quickly. Staying Power: The mascaras are water proof. The colour stays for good 4-5 hours. Sometimes the mascaras flake off if more than 2 swipes have been applied. Being water proof, it is very hard to remove at the end of the day. I go for an oil based makeup remover for my eyes. MUA Coloured Mascara- Shade Description Shade 2 – Minty Green: I don’t think these shades have some name attached to them, so I will just address them by their colors. The green shade is dark mint green, which is a flattering colour to me. But it does not come on eyes as beautifully as it looks on the wand. I need to apply a lot of coats of this shade as compared to the others to bring on the colour. This should have been a neon colour. Shade 6- Blue: A very basic shade of a coloured mascara. It is similar to the Colorbar Starry Blue Mascara shade. I find this shade is less dramatic and intense than the one from Colorbar. Looks good on eyes. Will suit all skin tones and eye colours. Shade 7- Hot Pink: It is the most flirty & flattering colour among the three. The colour is really gorgeous. This shade pops up the eyes beautifully. I like it the most among the three shades. This shade lightens my mood. Summary: 4/5 I find these coloured mascaras a good buy, especially if they are available on discount. They are not every day wear. Colorbar Starry Eye Mascara 01 Starry Blue : Review

Hello. How are you all doing? Coloured Masacara anyone? I always have been a fan of coloured mascaras as they are so playful. They add color to eyes with minimal efforts. You don’t need an eyeshadow palette or an eye shadow brush and your eyes will still attract all the attention. It’s shame that we don’t have much choices in India for coloured mascara. I have tried MUA Coloured mascaras in pink, blue & green colors in past. I was not impressed with the quality and consistency. So when Colorbar launched coloured mascaras I jumped right into grab few shades. Colorbar launched coloured mascara in 3 shades, so you can choose which shade will flatter your eye color. It’s a nice way to add color to your eyes. No other eye makeup is required and you can rock the look. Here are the shades: Starry Blue Starry Mauve Starry Green What Colorbar says about Starry Eye Mascara: Smudge Proof with Exclusive Applicator Sexy & Dramatic Colored Mascara Long-Wearing Formula Price: Rs 650 for 9.0 ml. Availability: Available on most of the online websites & Colorbar counters. My Views: I got the starry Blue shade, as this was the only shade, available at the Pacific Mall, colorbar counter. I have been there many times just to grab the other two shades but, they are always out of stock. So moving on to this particular shade, it’s a bright electric blue shade. I think this shade will suit every skin tone. It brightens the face instantly. The consistency of the mascara, is creamy & quite pigmented. Still 2 coats of mascara are required to pop up the eyes. It takes little long to dry up as compared to those super-fast drying mascaras. If you put more than 3 coats it starts clumping, but then you don’t really need more than 3 coats (gotcha!!). It starts coming off after 3-4 hours. I find little blue particles beneath my lower lashes. Still, it takes time when you really want to take it off. Like: Very beautiful shade. Creamy consistency. Will suit all skin tones. Nice pigmentation in just 2 coats. The applicator is quite nice. Sleek & safe packaging, travel friendly. Dislikes: Takes forever to dry. After wearing it for 3-4 hours, it starts shedding off. Rating: 4/5 Final Words: I forget every con after I putt this pretty shade on my lashes. I will keep it in my kitty, for those feeling blue days.
