One paper will be enough to color your cheeks perfectly. Press the colored side of the paper against your skin gently on the apple of your cheeks and swipe towards your ears. Now turn for blending. Blend the color to achieve your desired look. I am really excited to try out my hands on this new trend in makeup. It sounds so good while you are on move always. BB & CC Creams are my everyday’s staple but when it comes to special events no doubt I need a matte, transfer resistant, sweat proof, shine-proof & with build-able coverage foundation. I loved using L’Oreal Tue Match, few years back, and hence I picked up L’Oreal Infallible Stay Fresh 24H foundation 140 Golden Beige without hesitation. Today while looking for something, I stumbled upon this foundation and realized I have not reviewed it on the blog. So here I am presenting my views on this foundation. L’Oreal Infallible Stay Fresh 24H Foundation 140 Golden Beige Price Rs. 1400 for 30ml. Buy here at discounted price. Ingredients Packaging It comes in a transparent glass bottle with a pump fitted at the top. The pump is covered with a red cap to avoid accidental pumping. The shade name & number are printed on the cap as well as at the bottle. Ingredient list can be found ta the back of the bottle by peeling the label. The packaging is leak proof as I have traveled many times with this foundation in my luggage. And never experienced any leakage. L’Oreal Infallible Stay Fresh 24H Foundation – Shades Infallible foundation is introduced in many shades covering the pales to the dusky beauties. All the shades are provided below: 120 Vanilla, 125 Natural Rose, 140 Rose Beige, 150 Radiant Beige, 200 Golden Sand, 220 Sand, 235 Honey, 250 Radiant Sand, 300 Amber, 320 Caramel toffee L’Oreal Infallible Stay Fresh 24H Foundation 140 Golden Beige I got this foundation online. I literally went through every single review and swatch for this particular foundation to find my shade. I know I should have visited a physical store to get my shade matched, but I was really occupied by then and I had an event coming up. So I decided to buy this online. Golden Beige is a universal shade for me in terms of bases. The are the closest. Hence I decided to go with this shade. UPDATE: I also got L’Oreal Infallible Stay Fresh 24H Foundation Radiant Beige 150 as it is closest to Golden Beige 140 and matches my skin tone more. The shade has yellow tint to match my undertones, but somehow, I find the finish is more of grey-pink. Which kind of put me off. It’s nothing major, but it is not a perfect match for my wheatish skin tone. After blending a bit of pinkish hue can be seen. Fragrance & Texture It is a nice creamy foundation but goes matte very soon, hence one needs to be quick with the application. I would advise to moisturize skin thoroughly as it is a matte finish foundation otherwise you would not be able to blend in the foundation properly. A primer would ease the blending & perfect the finish. I mostly use my fingers to blend it, but it can be blended very well using a brush or a beauty blender. Pigmentation / Coverage The pigmentation of this foundation is very impressive. A coin sized foundation would nicely cover acne scars & even out skin very well. It gives medium to full coverage because it is buildable. Finish It sets off in matte (bit of powdery) finish. It kind of last really long since it does not transfer or smudge once set. As it has quick drying formula, I do not have to wait for my other makeup to put on. The finish is non oily & shine free for hours. Longevity As I mentioned above due to it’s texture & finish, it lasts very long on my oily skin even during summer. That’s the best feature of this foundation. A foundation should last really long so that other makeup can stay intact. It can really stand the Delhi heat & humidity. I have worn it for full days. Likes Smooth & fine texture. Gives a very natural finish while hiding imperfections. Does not transfer or smudge. Stays intact for long. A wide range of shades to choose from Does not look cakey. No whitecast. Contains SPF 18. Gives Medium coverage which is build-able. Does not break my skin. Dislikes Pricey. Golden Beige shade gives grey-pinkish hue to wheatish skin Summary : 4.75/5 L’Oreal Paris Infallible Stay Fresh 24H Foundation is no doubt a favorite of makeup junkies because of it’s smooth texture, build-able pigmentation, long lasting formula & matte finish. Also the shade range is impressive. I would grab another close shade soon. The high price can be ignored for the performance it gives. So girls, do you buy your foundation online? If you know your shade, you can go ahead with the purchase, but do you risk buying a new range without swatching it on yourself? I have been ditching foundations from many years unless I have to attend a function or I must skip wearing SPF better photographs. I like to wear BB & CC creams more because they are handy & have a lot of skin benefits. They are better in moisturization, texture & finish than foundation, I feel. The shades are not techie. Why not choose a BB/CC Cream over a foundation then? today I will be talking about Faces CC Cream which is a new addition to my BB stash. Faces Correct & Care CC Cream – Primes, Perfects & Protects Faces brings a BB cream to you with multiple benefits to give you flawless looking skin in single step. It primes, perfects & protects. Primes: It conceals imperfections giving an even toned skin & radiance. Perfects: This is a non-oily formula , that gives dewy look. It is made with organic ingredients it provides anti ageing benefits. Protects: Infused with SPF 20, it protects skin from the UVA & UVB skin rays. while giving 12 hours hydration. Price Rs. 399 for 35ml. Buy here. Ingredients Shades Available in 2 shades – Natural & Sand. For light – wheatish skin tone one should go for Natural, while Sand is for dusky skin tones. Packaging The Faces CC Cream comes packed in a black matte card box with all the product information printed over it. Inside the card box, there is a black slim tube with a narrow opening. The packaging is classy, leak proof & travel friendly. Fragrance & Texture Faces CC Cream has a bit of chemically but mild fragrance, which goes away very soon. Texture wise it is just in between Garnier BB Cream & Lakme CC Cream. It is not thick as Lakme CC Cream and not as runny as Garnier BB Cream. It has just the perfect consistency. It is high on moisture level. You would not need another layer of moisture using this cream during summer no matter what kind of skin type you have. The texture is ultra smooth & feels very nice to rub in. My Experience I really got confused between the two shades of the CC cream. They are very alike. I got Sand because, I already use Lakme CC cream in Beige, which is bit lighter for my skin tone. I thought about mixing the two & yes it worked. The cream offers nice moisture level. Without even wearing any moisture beneath I can layer this CC Cream which is a nice thing. I like the smooth texture that this cream offers. It blends into my skin beautifully & leaves behind matte finish on my oily skin. But this cream does not keep my face matte for more than 2 hours like Lakme CC cream does. The CC creams has SPF 20 which is fine if you are staying indoor, but if you are going outdoor, please layer a real sunscreen. I wish I had picked up the lighter shade, I would have been able to wear it more. Likes Smooth fine texture. Blends beautifully No need to use additional moisturizer. Gives matte finish. Ingredient list is long but impressive. Affordable. Suitable for all skin type. No allergies or breakout noticed. Dislikes During summer, the CC cream can not keep my face matte for more than 2 hours. Summary : 4/5 It is a nice CC cream for Dry-Normal skin types during summer. It does not provide much coverage though. It would basically even out the skin tone. It is affordable. If you do not have things to conceal on your face, you can go for it for it’s beautiful texture. Lakme has already done so in the past too, like Lakme 9 To 5 Quartet. That’s why you will notice the shade names are similar to the old range. So you can buy your favorite shade from the range but with a better formula, a formula that lasts upto 12 hours. Lakme 9 To 5 Primer + Matte Lipstick Lakme re-invents it’s 9 To 5 Lip Color giving it a long lasting formula infused with primer which preps lips for a smooth application and long lasting color. The shade name is provided at the bottom of every lip color. The lipstick bullet has Lakme 9 to 5 logo printed over it. Some of the bullets are easy to twist up while some takes bit of pressure to pop out of the shell. Shade – Red Letter MR9 A warm toned beautiful & bright red shade from the range. It won’t disappoint any skin tone. Any skin complexion can carry it well, because of it’s warm undertones. Shade – Blush Book MR 19 It is baby pink shade. It is an everyday shade for college/office/casual outings. It has bot of cool undertones, hence one should apply it in moderation. Also it kind of accentuates dry lines if you have them on your lips. It might look patchy if not applied with care. Shade – Ruby Rush MR 20 I take Ruby shades are generally a mix of red & pink. This shade too is a nice mix of pinkish red. If I wipe of the color off my lips, I will see a pinkish tint behind. Very wearable when you want to flaunt your luscious put on that eventful night. Shade – Fuchsia File MR 21 A true Fuchsia shade in the range. A bright, bold & loud shade. It can brighten up a dull day in no time. It is a cool toned pink, hence make sure your skin tone agrees with the shade. Shade – Scarlet Surge MR 22 I have worn many scarlets on my lips. It is also going to be a memorable one. It is another nice red shade just bit deep. Scarlet Surge is just a bit darker than Red Letter giving a mysterious look to my face. It is another versatile shade in the range. I wish I could grab all of the 30 shades in the range, but then most of them are repetitive. It was really hard to point out a different between Scarlet Surge & red Letter, unless I really took a close look. I opted only for the bold shades and left out nudes or brown shades, since this year is a celebration of bold shades. Fragrance & Texture The lip colors in this range do not contain fragrance neither do they taste weird. This is always a plus point when it comes to lip products, at least for me. Texture of the old Lakme 9 To 5 Lip Color range was wonderful and so is of this re-invented range. It is creamy & moisturizing, giving a smooth finish & intense color. Pigmentation The range presents highly pigmented lip colors. One swipe gives nice color pay off, while another swipe will seal the intensity in the shade. You can still go on for more swipes but the formula won’t feel weird. The intensity is buildable. Longevity Lakme claims to give 12 hours color to the lips with this re-invented 9 To 5 range. I have worn the bold shades for entire days, but at least 2 touch ups are required in the span of 12 hours. Because I can not stay without meals or caffeine which means, object touching my lips & stealing the moisture along with bit of the color every single time. The color did not wipe off entirely or went patchy, but yes, after 4-5 hours, one touch up is necessary. Finish It is matte. It is moisturizing but matte. Some of the colors might accentuate bit of fine lines, so make sure to prepare your lips before hand to wear the matte lipsticks. Summarizing, Lakme 9 To 5 Primer + Matte Lip Color range is a fabulous range from the brand. It is intense in color, offers 30 shades & classy packaging, under 500 bucks & gives very long stay on lips. Worth every penny. ❤❤❤❤❤ Are you too eyeing upon this range? {New} Incolor Matte Mousse Makeup – Warm Sand : Swatches & Review

Hi, From last few years mousse foundation are summer favorite because they are lightweight & give smooth finish. Being light textured they do not suffocate skin but still gives nice performance in hot and humid conditions. We already are a fan of Maybelline Mousse foundation & Lakme 9 to 5 Mousse foundation. Today I am going to talk about a new launch from Incolor Cosmetics- Matte Mousse Makeup in Warm Sand. It is the cheapest mousse foundation that I have ever come across. Price Rs. 210 for 9g. Buy here. Ingredients Packaging The outer cartoon is of light mustard color. Incolor Cosmetics is printed on the top and on once side of the box, while ingredients list is printed on the other side of the box. Manufacturing information etc are also printed on the box itself. Inside the carton, there is a very tiny small transparent plastic tub with a light mustard colored cap on the top. Once I dropped the tub accidentally & the tub cracked. It proves that the packaging is not really sturdy. The tiny tub must be handled with care. though it travel friendly. Fragrance & Texture There is very faint cosmetic smell in the mousse foundation. I try hard to smell it and it’s just so faint that I can’t capture much of it. It’s a good thing. Texture was it is very fine & smooth foundation as you expect a mousse foundation to be. It glides on skin smoothly. This foundation does not need a heavy layer of moisture underneath. If I apply some extra moisturizer before applying it, it turns bit patchy and hard to blend. On it’s own, it blends perfectly. Shade – Warm Sand Incolor presents 5 shades in the foundation which sounds great. But when I swatched the shades at the store, I was not impressed by the shade selection. The shades are mostly orangish & dark. The very first shade 01 Nutmeg is pink toned & light but that did not go with my wheatish skin tone. I was confused between 03 Warm Sand & 04 Natural, picked up 03 but this too is bit orangish for my yellow tone. The next light shade 02, was pink toned :(. Pigmentation It is a light weight foundation, hence the pigmentation needs to be build up layer by layer. One layer does help in evening out skin tone (giving a orangish hue to my complexion). To cover up scars, I need another layer. But that just makes my face look dull & dark since it contains a lot or orange pigments. Finish It gives matte finish without any heavy or greasy feeling. The matte finish that we desire during summer. That’s the magic of a mousse foundation. Longevity Honestly I have never worn it for more than 2-3 hours, because it is not a nice match for my skin tone. I have tries mixing it with other foundation but that totally ruins it’s texture. Likes Lightweight texture. Smooth finish. Evens out skin tone. Build-able consistency. Budget friendly. Dislikes Even though there are 5 shades in the range, but wheatish skin tones might find it hard to get their match. May give patchy application if used more quantity in single application. Summary : 3.5/5 After a long time I found a dud. I know it might not sound a dud to you, but, I just do not feel like using it because it doe nothing much for me. It’s tricky to apply it. Otherwise it is a budget friendly product with light weight texture. I would say if you have not tried any mousse makeup yet, and are bit tight on budget, you can go for it, only if you can find your shade in the range. Love.

About Lotus Herbals Make Up ColorKick Kajal Lotus Herbals bring a new range of colored kajals which are high in pigmentation, smudge free & stays for 8 long hours on your eyes. The smooth gliding formula, enriched with botanical extracts of Almond Oil, gives nice color pay off in single swipe. The kajal does not flake or smudge. The kajal is waterproof too. Price Rs. 249 for 0.28gm. Buy here at discounted price. Ingredients Not mentioned. Packaging The colored kajal in a hot pink colored retractable pencil stick form. The kajal is very slim. Lotus Herbals Make-Up Colorkick is printed on the kajal stick along with the features of the kajal. Every stick has a colored band at the bottom to represent the color of the kajal, like Mystic Green kajal has a green band while Royal Blue has a blue band at the bottom of the stick. The shade name is not printed anywhere on the stick, but only on the outer carton. Lotus Herbals Make Up ColorKick Kajal – Shades Black, Royal Blue, Mystic Green. Fragrance & Texture There is practically no smell out of the kajal sticks. The texture of the kajal is creamy. The creamy texture makes the kajal soft and prone to breakage if used with pressure. Also Read – How to wear kajal like a pro? Lotus Herbals Make Up ColorKick Kajal – Royal Blue This is a nice royal blue kajal darker in color than the Lakme Eyeconic Colored kajal in Royal Blue. Lotus Kajal in Royal Blue is a true Royal Blue shade, if you ask me. It’s a beautiful shade to flatter any eye color or complexion. Lotus Herbals Make Up ColorKick Kajal – Mystic Green As the name suggests this is a Forest Green color. The color is bit shiny if looked closely. Since it is a light color, it needs a lot of swipes to bring out desired colored on water line. While over lash line, it still needs more swipes than the Royal Blue shade. Pigmentation As I talked above, Royal Blue shade gives nice color pay off than Mystic Green. The reason is obvious, Mystic Green is a light shade while Royal Blue is a dark shade. While swiping Mystic Green on my water line, I break off the tip of the kajal many times, in case I apply little bit pressure to get desired color in lesser strokes. While Royal Blue shade gives nice color in 2-3 strokes only. To get a nice color pay off & finish, I suggest you to use a primer &/or concealer around your eyes. Finish The shades have bit of shine to them, but they look quite matte on eyes. I also like the fact that they do not feel sticky as come of the colored kajals do. Longevity I am really impressed with the staying power of the shades. Once set, they stay put on my eyes for about 7-8 hours. Be it my water line, which are very watery. The kajals are waterproof & they stay intact on my waterline as well as on my lash line, until I take them off at the end of the day. Likes Creamy texture. Does not flake or smudge. Stays upto 7-8 hours intact. Waterproof. Achieve multiple looks with colored kajals. Royal blue looks ecstatic on eyes. Does not feel sticky on eyes. Does not irritate eyes. Affordable & easily available. Easy to use & store. Travel friendly. Dislikes The brand should come up with more shades. Mystic Green being a light shade, needs to be swiped multiple times to get the desired color on water line. The sticks have a tendency to break off if not handled carefully. Summary The colored kajals have a nice staying power & are waterproof too, which makes them great pick if you are going outdoor for a long time. Being affordable they won’t hurt your pocket too. Above all, with these colored kajals you can perk up your everyday look. I just wish the brand comes with more shades. SUGAR Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick 04 Holly Golightly : Swatches & Review

I love SUGAR Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick Scarlett O’Hara to the core, I was so wanting to own Holly Golightly from the same range. SUGAR crayon lipsticks are among the best lipsticks for Indian skin tone. The lipsticks are parabene free & do not contain harmful chemicals. SUGAR does not test on animals. Ain’t these really great reasons to buy another piece form the brand. I bought the lipstick along with SUGAR Tic Tac Toe Nail Liquor in the same shade- Holy Golightly. I will talk about the nail paint in some other post, but today I am going to review SUGAR Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick 04 Holly Golightly today for you. I was very impressed by the texture & staying power of Scarlett O’Hara & I was lately feeling to have a n*de lip color, so I thought, why not Holly Golightly. This lip crayon is very popular among makeup lovers. I really resisted myself from getting this until now. Because I didn’t only want this but I really needed this. SUGAR says go lightly nude with this lip color which is highly pigmented, super coverage & excellent staying power. The texture is creamy yet gives matte finish which does not require reapplication again and again. The lipstick is safe for skin. Price Rs. 799 for 5gms. Buy here. Packaging The crayon lipstick comes packed inside a cardboard with abstract print. The cardboard contains graphics of a red pout, while the brand name, logo and product name are also printed on it. The ingredients list is not mentioned anywhere. The lipstick bullet is packed inside a black matte chubby pencil with light plumish-pink matte band at the bottom and a black matte cover at the mouth of the crayon. Since this is a crayon lipstick, it is shipped with a black sturdy sharpner. The crayon & the sharpner are made in Germany (imported you see :)). Variants I am a fan of these crayon lipsticks. You can also call them chubby sticks as some other brands has come up with. There are only five shades in the range: 01 Scarlett O’Hara – My favorite of them all- a beautiful red shade 02 Mary Poppins – Bright Fuschia 03 Poison Ivy – Wine 04 Holy Golightly – Nude 05 Rose Dawson – Pretty Pink Shade Description – Holy Golightly This is a pretty nude shade with peach undertones. I love peach lipsticks but they hate my skin tone. But a nude lipstick with peach undertones will suit every Indian skin tone, like this one does. This shade flatters my wheatish skin tone beautifully. The shade may look little pinkish in natural day light but looks pinkish brown indoors. Works for me. Taste, Texture & Smell This is a powdery matte lipstick. It also tastes powdery in the initial hour of application. The texture is creamy and glides on lips very smoothly without any hassle. There is practically no smell out of the crayon. Pigmentation I have never had any issues at the pigmentation front of any product from the brand, SUGAR. This lipstick is also good in pigmentation. One swipe gives nice color pay off. 2 swipes seals the color for a perfect nude pout. Staying Power SUGAR Smudge Me Not lipsticks give the longest staying power. Next I love Scarlett O’Hara for it’s performance. But the staying power of Holly Golightly is average. It stays for 2-3 hours on my lips. After meals it’s gone. But I understand, it’s a light shade, and it can not deliver as much as a bright color would. Finish The finish of this lipstick is powder-y matte. So, in my today’s post I will be comparing both of them to find out which one is the best quality wise, quantity wise and most importantly performance wise. Elle 18 Eye Drama Kajal in Bold Black Elle 18 Eye Drama Kajal is a simple and fuss-free twist-up basic black kajal that is a new addition to my makeup collection. These kinds of products are convenient for everyday purpose and even for occasional purposes because you only need a minute to go over both the eyes if you have practice and the eyes will be done. I have used Lakme Eyeconic, Maybelline Colossal and 1-2 other kajals of this sleek form but this one seemed to be the blackest one with amazingly smooth formula, pigmentation and staying power. Being the least costly one from this category of kohl, I expected it to be moderately good. But, I am really astonished to see the performance! For this price it’s no doubt a steal deal. It had everything that a perfect herbal kajal should have; good pigmentation, herbal formulation was two most important of them. After using it for a few days, the cons started to appear. It was not smudge-proof, waterproof and long-lasting. I did not take the pains to set the kajal with anything in powder form. So, at the end of the day I was left with racoon eyes. I remember making frequent washroom visits at college to remove the smudged kajal from the under eye area. After a few hours I used to get exhausted of clearing under eye and the panda eyes were what I would see after coming home. Finally I realized this formula is not for me and since then the Kajal is sitting in my vanity as it is. If you want my opinion on this product I would say, go for this if you are a pro with non-smudge-proof kajals or if you are allergic to chemical based kajals. Essence is a lovable brand I have used many lipsticks & eye shadows from the brand. I like the quality and pricing of the brand. Let’s go ahead with the review of I ❤ Extreme Volume Mascara, for your eyes only – pun intended 🙂 Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara contains ultra black pigments covering each lash color intensive and a large brush for stunning volume. Mascara for Extreme Volume Ultra Black Opthalmologically tested. Price Rs. 349 for 12ml. Buy here. Packaging I love Extreme Volume Mascara is packaged in a chubby black plastic tube with a black wand screwed-in at the top. I ❤ Extreme Volume Mascara is printed in bright pink fancy font while few lines about the mascara are printed horizontally along the tube. The packaging appeals to me. The applicator provided with the mascara is quite dense & has criss-cross bristles (as they say in any toothbrush ad). That is how Essence plans to deliver volume to eye lashes coating every single lash with rich pigmentation. My Experience The pigmentation of the mascara is decent. Although it is a black mascara, but when I swatched it on my hand the color looked more of kind of black and not super black. But as long as it works in lengthening & Curling my eye lashes I do not have any issues with the color of the mascara. Also full throttle black colored mascaras give you very dramatic eyes which does not suit to everyday look. Coming on the effects of the mascara, I like that it does a wonderful job in giving curl & little more volume to my eye lashes. It won’t give you falsies effect, but will give you a totally awake look. This is not a water proof mascara, so ladies do not wear it on rainy days or during swimming. The mascara can give you racoon eyes if you splash water on your eyes. The mascara does not require much efforts to get off the eyelashes, because it’s not a washproof version. I personally do not like to use water resistant mascara until it’s a must. I feel it is one affordable & affordable mascara like Maybelline Falsies one for your everyday mascara needs. Likes Gives nice curl & volume. Comes with nice applicator. Attractive packaging. Quick dry formula. Does not clump much. Good for every day purpose. Easy on pocket. Does not irritate eyes.
