From last few years, craze for pre wedding shoot has gained a lot of popularity in India. Pre-wedding shoot must be a part of your wedding planning. Like everything else, pre wedding shoot also requires a lot of planning and the planning starts with finding the best pre wedding photographer in your budget and perfect location for the shoot. Go to www.wedmegood.com or download the wedmegood app and you will find a lot of wedding photographers to choose from, pre wedding shoot pictures and ideas. India is a beautiful country and it offers exotic locations to shoot for your pre wedding photo & video album. To help you pick your ideal pre wedding shoot destination, I am presenting a list of such locations. Your Guide To Best Pre Wedding Shoot Destinations In India 5. Delhi NCR Including Gurugram, Noida & Faridabad, Delhi offers a lot of exotic locations that are perfect for pre-wedding shoots. If you live in or around Delhi, you should check out, Humayun Tomb, Lodhi Garden, Hauz Khas Village & Lake, Connaught Place, Lodhi Art District, Garden Of Five Senses, Rail Museum etc. Apart from these popular locations there are Okhla Bird Sanctuary, Neemrana Fort, Tikli Bottom, The Perfect Location in Faridabad, Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary are some other attractions in Delhi & NCR, that can give you nice picture locations. Tip: Some of the places have entry fee and camera fee to shoot. Please esquire before hand. 4. Jaipur If you are open to travel little bit, Jaipur is another beautiful city to explore. The pink city has a lot to offer for your pre-wedding Shoot, specially if you want to give your pre-wedding shoot a vintage touch with all the royal backdrop. There are numerous forts in Jaipur where Nahargarh is my personal favorite. Apart from forts, you can take into account the natural locations and lifestyle like landscapes as well as vibrant and lively houses & streets. 3. Goa If you are someone who loves beaches more than mountains, Goa is your ultimate destination for pre wedding shoot. Goa is not only about beaches, but it also offers colonial forts and beautiful landscapes. Apart from all these options, how about a pre-wedding shoot on a cruise? Now that’s quite unique. When you are done with your pre-wedding shoot, you can actually host your bachelor / bachelorette party too while you are still in Goa, what you say? 2. Kerala Kerala is not only the number one choice for honeymoon, but it is also a great location for pre-wedding shoot. This state is God’s own land and it offers the best of everything. Back waters, beaches, mountains, landscapes & architecture. You just can’t get enough of this place. This one place, can cater to different themes. Do consider it, if you have want bit of everything. 1. Udaipur Udaipur is the city of Lakes. It not only has lakes, but it also houses several royal palaces. As you enter the city, you start sensing royal touch everywhere. This is one of the most favorite location for couples for their pre-wedding shoot as well as to host their wedding. You can choose palaces turned hotels for your pre-wedding shoot such as Udai Villas, CIty Palace, Taj Palace or you can go for natural locations such as the several lakes which are again man made. I would recommend Fateh Sagar Lake for your pre wedding shoot as it is the most beautiful one. There is also an artificial island amidst the lake known as Nehru Garden. Apart from lakes, don’t miss the Monsoon Palace which is situated on a hill and offers great backdrop. An ideal pre-wedding shoot location is what offers ease of travelling, comfortable stay and that fits your theme. Depending upon your budget and time at hand, choose your pre-wedding shoot. Good Luck. Much Love, Nisha

Your Competition Is You. Once you start understanding the meaning of this golden phrase & start following this mantra, you become a better you every single day. But how do you compete with yourself? How often can you do that? How do you really decide which version is better? Today, I am going a bit off track because I have been to wanting to write about this for a long time. Mostly because I wanted to share my experience with you. I count myself as a hard-working and passionate person when it comes to my goals. Yet gloomy days can take anyone down. But I have a sure shot way to come out of those gloomy thoughts with some tips. I have found a way to self motivate myself every single time I find myself procrastinating. Stop Procrastinating: Get Up & Get Going You have been too much into hibernation. Get up now & hit the road. It’s never too late. You can still make it. You are not too young or too old. There are people doing it despite several hurdles. Starting a beauty and makeup blog of mine, while being into the IT sector for about 10 years, was definitely something, a bit unexpected from me. I opted for something I was secretly passionate about. Passion is the key. As long as you have it, you are good. Admit When You Are Wrong I cannot stress enough on the importance of learning from your own mistakes, because when someone else tells you that you are mistaken, you might not respond very well to that. Here is a tweak, if you find it hard to accept your mistake in front of others, don’t do it straight away. Take some time, accept it in your mind and heart. Think out ways to get out of it. Take things slowly. Start working on the things that could make up for your mistake. It works really well with me. Get Out Of Your Cocoon Things might be wrong, but until you start accepting them they are going to stay like that. Accept your mistake or defeat & get out of your shell with a plan B. If plan B fails, don’t worry, we have more alphabets. It’s only about trying harder. In life, we see ups and downs, but they are never constant. Stay ready for everything. Face Your Fear Everybody has them. Some are less bothered while some make a lot of deal out their fears. The first step is to live your fear as often as possible to get it out of your mind. Because it’s all in your mind. I am not asking to pull off stunts like X-factor or Khatron Ke Khiladi here, but something more practical, like approaching people if you are really shy. Yes, it could be as simple as that and as crucial as that. For me, the biggest fear was to come in front of the camera being of introvert nature. But I am dealing with it by facing it every now and then. I am only getting better with every try. Pat Your Back Only you owe to yourself. And only you know the taste of your success. Celebrate your victories no matter how small they are as much as you want to fuel up yourself for the next journey. Your efforts pay at the end, and you deserve that cheerful “YES”. Help Others, Inspire Others It feels so great whenever you help someone in need. It gives immense pleasure and makes you realize you have capabilities beyond your imagination. Plus it always pays you back. Good things come to those who do good things to others selflessly. I will be honest with you, I might never approach someone first to congratulate someone on their success, but I would definitely be the first person, in case he needs help. Express Gratitude The most powerful ingredient to be a better person is to express gratitude with every single thing you receive no matter how small it is. Your feelings are powerful. They attract alike things. If you are happy & saying thank you, you will receive more happiness. Wonderful no? I mean every single word I wrote. Tell me how far have you come to be a better you? Much Love ❤

Okay, I didn’t steal it, kind of borrowed it to wear it during the upcoming festive season. I just love this very recent piece she has added to her wardrobe. It is a Saree. A pretty pink half Silk Saree with golden detailing. The very moment I saw this piece in her wardrobe I was amazed. I was like, ‘ Oh Mom, how do you manage to get everything so pretty.” She has worn it just once in a party and her friends’ jaws dropped. Well, I could not resist it and decided to borrow it from her hoping to look as beautiful & graceful as she does. Last Sunday, it was a beautiful day. I decided to put on mom’s saree and pose for the camera. It went really well. We were all giggling & enjoying the weather. It was a fun shoot indeed. A cool breeze would come and go playing with my Saree pallu & leaving my hair messy. I paired this beautiful saree with a basic golden blouse in place of contrasting with another bright shade to keep this saree as a highlight. But yes I could not ignore few blue bangles that were hanging in my dresser. The last photograph is my favorite. I find it effortlessly innocent. Hope you too liked this piece from my Mom’s closet. I plan to wear this piece over Durga Pujan. Please leave your beautiful comments in the comment section. Much Love.

I was reading a beautiful post by a fellow blogger over bloglovin describing her blogging journey. It sure was fabulous & inspiring. Now, it’s almost one year since I have started my blogging journey. But within these 11 months, I am a completely different person, from within. I have evolved as a woman, as a mother and as a human being. Today, I am going to share my evolution within last 11 months. Who Was I? An introvert… a shy girl always leaning along the wall. Never uttering a word, no matter how tempted I was while sitting in a group of friends. Thinking about thousand times before giving my opinion on a subject I was well versed of. I never really went ahead to make new friends be it school, college and later corporate life. I had always been a kind of non social person generally taken as an egoistic person. I lost many friends after getting busy with life. Some long term friendships took a back seat and now they are limited to birthday wishes. Sometimes I really consider myself to be quite an unfortunate person. I might never find that perfect friendship, I once thought I had. How Blogging Changed Me Into A Better Person? I would not say, I am not an introvert anymore. I still find myself talking to myself. This is never going to change. I am self sufficient. I sometimes fantasize about a life where it’s just me on a never-found-land. Maybe it’s bit selfish, but I do want to live for me for a moment. Books Bring Out The Best Version Of You Blogging demands to think & read more. Reading takes you to another level of intellectual. I was never into self help books. Within last few months, I realized what I have been missing on. It’s not only fiction that can excite your mind, while I was reading “The Secret”, I felt another level of joy & motivation. ‘Friends’ Is Just A Word At every stage of life, we need different kind of people in life. I am in my early 30’s and I do not have time to go for long chat over coffee with my female friends. I am really not looking for shopping buddies. But I know I have a close knit group of women bloggers who are there to help me whenever I need any kind of help. Be it about my 3 years old or a wordpress plugin, they are pro in every department. Are we friends? Not necessarily. Being Messy Is Alright Organizing your life is a good thing. Planing really helps you achieve things within time limits. But I do not always go by clock. I have my setbacks and I do not regret taking a short break from my early morning tight schedule. Messy home does not look good, but it’s better than loosing your peace of mind over small things. Your home will stay messy until your kids give up being messy! I Have Become More Sensitive To The Environment I really can’t stand someone littering around. It’s once cause for which I can give up my shy nature for some time. There are wonderful people that I have come across online who are taking big initiative to protect environment. Until we do our individual duties, these initiatives can not succeed. Being Irrelevant Is Okay Sometimes, go out of routine. Do something weird and make memories to laugh later. Life is so short. Who knows what it is holding for us even if we are alive for longer than other. Plus You Live Only Once. Parents Never Give Up On You It does not matter if you are not doing good in your career or even if you fail. Your parents never judge you. Your happiness is their utmost importance. Your parents are always going to love you unconditionally. They always support you and care for your new ideas for life. Having A Supportive Husband Makes Life Easy I can’t ignore his love & support for my new passion. He exclaims with every milestone that my blog hits. I can share everything with him. He cheers me up when I am not in my usual “let’s do it” mood. He challenges me. There is no stopping for me now. About The Shoot- Well, thanks to my lovely sister, it happened on a Sunday afternoon, when we were looking into each other’s eyes and decided to make something better out of it. What would I do without her? Much Love.

Review Of MamaEarth Feel Better Tea – Coming from a teaholic. A herbal or Green Tea, is a tea for health. But it does not mean that it has to be bitter & tasteless. I have been trying to adopt green/herbal tea while cutting down my intake of the traditional milk-sugar tea. But the transition is not smooth. Most of the green/herbal teas that I have tried so far could not wean me off from having a milk tea at least 3 times a day. If I have to drink my regular tea after having a cup of green tea, it’s a total waste. Yes I have done that. It was quite a renowned brand that left me feeling gross. About 2 weeks back, MamaEarth contacted me to try out their new range of health tea – Feel Better Tea, I kind of crossed my fingers when I sipped it for the very first time. I really wanted MamaEarth Feel Better Tea to taste bearable. What happened? Did it pass my flavor test? You will know very shortly. MamaEarth Feel Better Tea The brand – MamaEarth is a startup By the parents For the parents which exists to solve seemingly little problems of young parents by providing certified toxin free, international standard products under the First MadeSafe Certified brand in Asia. MamaEarth Traditional Recipes brings MamaEarth Feel Better Tea to improve immunity & digestion. The tea is infused with Nettle Leaf, Chamomile, Ginger & Mint. The tea is sourced from the Himalayas. The tea is free of Caffine & does not contain GMO (Genetically Modified Organism), which makes it 100% natural. Ingredients Nettle Leaf – Nettle is a strong anti oxidant which purifies blood and cures upset stomach. It also helps with skin issues like Acne, Eczema, rashes etc. Chamomile – It calms the nerve system while building immunity and aiding in digestion. It also helps you sleep better by relaxing your mind. Mint – It boosts immune system, especially against the common cold and cough. It also helps to reduce menstrual cramps. Ginger – It aids in digestion, reduces nausea, helps manage imbalance in the gut & builds immunity. These 4 ingredients were enough to get me hooked onto this tea. I have been sipping it daily twice between meals as instructed. How To Brew A Perfect Cup Of MamaEarth Feel Better Tea? MamaEarth Feel Better Tea is herbal tea which needs to be prepared as you prepare other herbal teas. But even a herbal tea needs to be prepared the right way to reap all the benefits of the tea. Follow these steps to brew a perfect cup of this herb infused tea: Boil 200ml water. Pour it in your favorite cup containing a tea bag of MamaEarth Feel Better Tea. Cover the cup with a lid and let the tea bag sit in it for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, take out the bag and squeeze it slightely to get the essence of the tea into your cup. Your fresh cup of herb tea is ready. Drink it to your health. Why MamaEarth Feel Better Tea Replaced My Regular Milk Tea? I am a teaholic. I just have to get at least 3 cups of tea throughout my day. Sometimes even more. This leads to several health problems as I am experiencing. Acidity & Acne (sugar induced) are the most prominent. The taste of this tea is herbal no doubt but it is not bitter as I was expecting it to be. It has right amount of herbs with out any bitterness in the taste. I also add a pinch of Cinnamon to the boiling water to enhance the taste of the tea. Cinnamon can add more taste to any herbal/green tea. Fragrance of this tea is of course herbal & mild. I drink one cup of MamaEarth Feel Better Tea around noon which is generally a low point of the day for me. But this tea really boosts my energy levels. It has soothing aroma which calms down my senses & keeps me cheerful to sail through the day easily. About 5 O’clock I take another cup of this herbal tea. For better results, it is advised to be taken twice a day. I have been using it for some days twice a day and I feel my stomach is more healthy. I don’t get acidity problems as much as I used to before starting MamaEarth Tea. I definitely am going to continue using this herb tea. Who Should Drink This Tea? I think every woman should drink this tea. It tastes nice & boosts energy levels keeping you active throughout the day. Internally helps making you strong. It is a really nice replacement for the traditional tea. Price & Availability Priced at Rs. 599 for 30 Tea Bags of Herb Tea. It is pricey no doubt. The tea can be sourced from MamaEarth’s website. Summary Infused with Nettle Leaf, Ginger, Mint, Chamomile , Fennel Seeds & Fenugreek. Caffeine free & Non GMO No bitter taste. 100% Natural Boosts energy levels. Improves digestion & immunity. Pricey. Disclaimer: Green/Herbal Tea should be avoided during the first trimester of pregnancy. Also if you have a known hypersensitive to Nettle Plant or any plant within Persely family like Fennel seed. This product was sent to me by the brand for honest review.

If I give my heart to you, Will you promise to be true And help me, understand Coz I’ve been in love before And found that love was more than just holing hands Young, restless & ambitious when finds himself in a world which is free of restrictions, rich in ever evolving music & architecture, he does not forget his roots. He is responsible & sensible. He knows, he has a family back at home waiting for him. This describes the main protagonist of Harp -Ashok. The story is set in the late 60’s. Even though there are 3 main characters, Ashok holds them together. He is an ambitious, outgoing, outspoken, confident, handsome & young boy from India. His father wants him to take over his Dairy business. But Ashok is not ready to settle yet. Even though he has started to take interest in his father’s business, he wants to travel, explore his opportunities & encounter the unknown. He lands many internship opportunities from European companies operating in agriculture & dairy. How beautifully the author has described Europe. I literally can imagine the the places Ashok goes to, specially his train journey. I really enjoyed the depth, the author has added to describe the music, architecture, youth & world of the late 60’s. This time was a time of revolution in terms of sex, thoughts & technology. Not just the west but India too was becoming more habitual of pop culture, late night parties for youngsters & liberation of social norms. Ashok is a charmer. He meets several girls during his internships in the west. But he halts when he meets Lauren, a passionate musician from Poland, who plays Harp. They know they are soul mates, but they cannot give up their dreams. Lauren cannot move to India & Ashok cannot stay back. Ashok Comes back to India. He meets Aparna. Aparna is just visiting India from California. She is a successful & independent woman. They get emotionally involved. Marek tries to impress Lauren who is still lost in love of Ashok. I just could not put the novel down until I found out what really happened to the trio. I really got carried away with the emotional plot the novel offers. The novel has a lot of local language words & phrases that really fits in the flow. There is a glossary provided at the end of the book to understand the meaning of the local words. What I liked about Harp? Harp gave me an understanding of a revolutionary era. I realized how wonderful that time span was. Things were changing at a fast pace, throughout the world. This was a time when the greatest musician marked their footprints in the history. I loved having a virtual tour of Europe & America along with their respective culture in that era. I also liked the way, the characters were developed. They are all strong & clear about their goals. Open to take chances & enjoy life as may it come to them. Would like to mention, the songs of 60’s from various artists, that plays in background, really infuses some magic now and then. What put me off? I am an avid reader of romantic & fiction novels. I have read numerous best selling novels that take you to the depth of the emotions a human can ever have. Harp, is a nice read. I enjoyed reading it. I was bit lost sometimes, whenever there was a sudden shift of characters. The shifting is not spontaneous. It is too dramatic & forward. The too much technical details regarding dairy business are not that fascinating, actually it made the novel lengthy. About The Author – Nidhi Dalmia Nidhi Dalmia debuted with Harp. He is an alumni of St. Stephan’s College in Delhi. He pursued post graduate education at Oxford University and the Sorbonne and Management education at Harvard Business School. His professional life exposed him to diverse responsibilities especially in the manufacturing sector. Nidhi was in his college table tennis team at Oxford and also enjoys swimming. His interests include Cinema, Theatre and Indian philosophy. Price 295 INR. Available at all leading book stores and online. Page Count Contain about 401 pages out of including the glossary at the end of the book. Do you like to read? which genre do you prefer? What is your latest read? Leave you comments. Much Love.

Happy Independence Day & Happy Janmashtmi. It’s such an auspicious day, that we are enjoying two great festivals of India. All the enjoyment literally doubled up. Moving on, I am sure you must have heard about blotting paper/sheet. But now you have Makeup Paper too. What’s that, A makeup paper? Yes, Makeup over Paper, precisely. I too was literally blown away by this newest & innovative trend of makeup that recently started in the west. So you don’t have to carry all the little pots of your foundation, highlighter or bronzer with you. Just pick a makeup paper booklet, tear a sheet out of it and swipe it across your face. Magic? Yeah literally. When I get to hear something so unusual and different, I really dig it. I literally went to every website which was providing any information about paper makeup or makeup paper. The great deal about paper makeup is the fact that, you do not need to learn anything new. You know your shade, you know your blending technique and you are sorted. Mai Couture brings this innovative way to makeup. Blotting paper is already in our handbags, what if the same paper can refresh our makeup too. This is the idea on which Mai Couture worked and presented Highlighter paper, Bronzer paper, even Foundation paper. So basically it’s a booklet containing few papers inside but the papers are not ordinary and they are infused with color pigments. You can get paper makeup for your base, cheeks, lips, and everything you anyway use makeup for. The best thing about this makeup does not end here. It is parabene & talc free. Now you can give it standing ovation. Mahnga Hoga? err…Price? The brand is selling one such booklet of 50 papers around £12.5. Priecy… hmm? Plus shipping to India will definitely burn a hole in our pockets. How To Use Paper Makeup Effectively? The professionals suggests you to start with clean & perp-ed face. Let’s assume you want to test a blush paper on your face. The paper will have color on one side. Tear one paper from the booklet of blush paper. One paper will be enough to color your cheeks perfectly. Press the colored side of the paper against your skin gently on the apple of your cheeks and swipe towards your ears. Now turn for blending. Blend the color to achieve your desired look. I am really excited to try out my hands on this new trend in makeup. It sounds so good while you are on move always. Being compact in size, it’s easy to use and carry. I hope my sister could fetch me few such booklets while she will be visiting India again. How did you like the idea? Fascinating? Too much hyped? I hope Indian brands too come up with cheaper alternates. Let me know your thoughts on this. Much Love. Disclaimer : All the information & images has been taken from the official website of Mai Coutoure.
