Hi, Coral shades are like my weakness, specially in lip colors. With my June Fab Bag, I had an option to choose my makeup product. I was presented with a list of Johara Creme Rich Lip Colors, I had to choose my shade. Most of them looked deep shades, while I wanted something bright & bold. I picked up Poppy Coral. After receiving it in my recent fab bag, as I opened the cap of the lip color, I was bit disappointed, why? You will come to know in a while. Johara Creme Rich Lip Color Johara presents high in moisture lipsticks that are Parabens free, Lanoline free, Mineral Oil free & Nano-ingredient free. This rich lip color has rare Ricin Oil & Vitamin E to hydrate & nourish your lips. The lip color comes in 12 dazzling shades to suit your work place and party mood. Price Rs. 395 for 4.5g. Ingredients Johara Creme Rich Lip Color – Shades This lip color comes in 12 shades as listed below: Cranberry, Cherry Red, Cocoa Delight, Grape Wine, Mahogany, Pink Flash, Pink Petals, Poppy Coral, Princess, Saucy Red, Sunny Squash, Tempting Fudge. Most of the shades are deep. While Summer Trends 2017 calls for bright & bold shades. Packaging The lipstick comes inside a black card box. This is a signature packaging from Johara. It looks classy. The actual lip color is packed inside a silver bullet with gold interior. The bullet looks very pretty as you open the cap. You will find shade name at the bottom of the bullet. All other is information including ingredients, price etc is printed over the outer packaging. The packaging is sturdy & travel friendly. Fragrance & Texture I hardly notice any scent from lipsticks, but this is a highly scented lip color from Johara. It smells chocolaty sweet. Though I don’t taste anything weird on my lips after wearing it. Even after wearing for half an hour, I can feel a fainted chocolate smell. Since the smell is pleasant, I don’t mind it. This is a rich in moisture lip color, hence it glides very smoothly on my lips. I do not need to use a lip balm underneath this lipstick. The texture makes it give a satin smooth finish to my lips. I can blot the shine off my lips when I do not want it. Due to creamy nature of the bullet, it can’t stand heat much. Also I try not to apply much pressure otherwise it leaves behind little chunks. Shade – Coral Poppy If you have seen Poppy Coral flower, it is pretty coral in color. I mistook the shade name and thought this shade is going to be a coral one. It is nothing coral. It is a deep peach-brown shade. A shade which looks dupe of Nykaa PaintStix Peaches n Cream. It is an everyday shade which is going to suit every skin tone-. But it’s not coral which is heartbreaking. It leaves behind a peachy-pink tint. Pigmentation Pigmentation of the lip color is decent. Two swipes gives nice color pay off. I never really use one swipe of anything. It just does not give me satisfaction. The lipstick does not look patchy at all. The color is evenly distributed. Longevity It is a moisturizing lipstick, hence it transfers a lot in the first hour of application. It can’t survive meals, you would loose it completely or at least from the center of your lips a very dreadful look that is. If you are not having meals then also it won’t survive more than 3 hours without touch ups. Likes Creamy texture. Enriched with Ricin Oil & Vitamin E. Hydrates lips & does not accentuate fine lines. Gives satin smooth finish finish. Nice sturdy packaging. Has a nice fragrance. Poppy Coral is a shade suitable for all skin types. Free of parabenes, Lanoline, Mineral Oil & Nano-ingredient. Dislikes Misleading name. Can not survive meals. Staying power is low. Summary : 4/5 Highly moisturizing lipsticks have a tendency to transfer easily hence does not stay on lips for long. This lipstick is not a must have, but it is okay in terms of pigmentation. If you do not mind frequent touch ups, you can go for much better shades in the range. Johara is a new brand to me, I have not used much products from this brand apart form Johara nail paint which again I received in Fab Bag. But it looks promising to me. Fab Bag June 2017 – The Boho Chic : Review

Hi, The month started with a nice surprise. I got my June Fab Bag – The Boho Chic, on the very first day of the month. I was delighted to find it at my door step so early. I just can’t help but put the contents of the bag in front of you guys. With this bag my 6 months subscription of Fab Bag ends. Next month, I will be renewing it for another few months. I am also thinking to try Glamego and other beauty box in town, there are plenty actually. There are jewelry boxes, lifestyle boxes, beauty+food boxes and what not. So why not explore them all. What say? I will let you know in few days. Coming back to my fab bag of June 2017, It contains only 4 products and a 10% off renew coupon. The products look good though. The bag itself is made of Jute & defines the Boho style too. This month’s bag is quite opposite to the blingy & quirky bags of the past months. It’s simple & elegant. The products too are quite basic but high quality. Johara Creme Rich Lip Color – Poppy Coral (Full Size Rs. 395/-) SUGAR Twist And Shout FadeProof Kajal – Black Velvet (Full Size : Rs. 399/-) Biobloom- Foot Cream (Eucalyptus)(Rs. 335/- for 50gm) APS Cosmetofood: Activated OrganicSPring Water (Rs. 270 – for 50ml) The product list contains 2 full sized products while 2 decent sized products. All the products look quite promising and very usable during the summer. Johara Creme Rich Lip Color – Poppy Coral Fab Bag generally give a product of your choice. It sends you a link to choose your item of your choice. Genrally it’sm akeup. This time too, I got to choose Johara lipstick shade, & I chose Poppy Coral, which looks very pretty in the shell. I have not tried it yet, but, I will be coming out with it’s swatches very soon as it looks very tempting. Glad that I also got the black version of this kajal. Biobloom- Foot Cream with Eucalyptus I am getting a lot of foot products in beauty subscription boxes, & I do not ever use them. I just give them away. But this time, I am definetly going to use this foot cream from Biobloom, because it contains Eucalyptus which has a soothing aroma. APS Cosmetofood: Activated Organic Spring Water I am using Avene Thermal Spring Water (pending for review), which is good, but little costly. I will be happy to try out APS Cosmetofood spring water and see if it is as good as the Avene one. It’s always nice to find a dupe of a costly products. These were the 4 products that I received in my June Fab Bag, which look very promising, & I really, really plan to use all these four items as I mostly forget about the products that I get in subscription box. They keep on lying unused hidden in my closet. Overall, June 2017 Fab Bag is a nice edition. It is worth 1399 bucks, which qualifies it as a nice bag. Johara Pro Shine Nail Color Toffee Brown : Swatches & Review

Good Morning. I thought let’s start the day with some color on nails today. Here I am presenting review of Johara Pro Shine Nail Color in Toffee Brown. Johara says, that Pro Shine is a fabulous range which presents a range of wide colors speaking of romance, sophistication & style. So now fun is on your fingers & charm is on your toes. Let’s get to know this nail color more in detail. Price Rs. 250 for 10ml. Ingredients Packaging There is a small black card box with “Johara Pro Shine Nail Color” printed over it in white fancy font. The black card box also contains ingredient list & some more information about the nail paint. Inside is a cylindrical glass pot with silver cap cum applicator fitted at the top. The applicator of the nail paint is quite slim, hence won’t cover whole nail in one go. But I find that all right. I liked the simple & elegant packaging which is sturdy enough for travel purpose. Shade Description – Toffee Brown This is a beautiful light brown shade with lot of shimmer & shine in it. The color is beautiful & going to suit every skin tone due to it’s earthy nature. First swipe of the color over nails give a rose-gold color while the second coat brings out the true shade of the nail paint. Fragrance & Texture It has typical acetone smell. I think nail paints just can’t escape the smell because of their formulation. Right? The texture is more runny than SUGAR Tic Tac Toe Nail Lacquer, so have to be quick to apply it. Pigmentation The pigmentation of the nail paint is average. As I mentioned earlier, the color looks more of Rose-Gold than brown with first swipe. Even though Rose- Gold looks great on hands, but to bring out the true color of the nail paint, you must go for a second swipe. It’s not highly pigmented as Bowl of berries from SUGAR. Finish Pro Shine is a shimmery-shiny range from Johara, the finish of this shade – Toffee Brown, is also shiny with the hints of shimmer in it. The nails look really shiny. The finish is perfect for night outs & parties. Longevity The nail color stays intact for 3-4 days & later it starts fading off. After using SUGAR nail lacquers, I find this nail lacquer to be average in performance. I feel since the pigmentation of the nail paint is average, hence the nail paint starts fading off soon. Likes Beautiful shade. Quick dry formula. The range is full of shine & shimmer. Perfect for night outs & events. Elegant & sturdy packaging. Affordable. Dislikes The pigmentation & the longevity are average. Summary : 4/5 Johara Pro Shine Nail Color Toffee Brown, is a beautiful shade from the range, but for the same price, there are much better performing nail paints. If you do not mind touching up regularly or like to change your nail paint every 3-4 days, you can go ahead with the range. Have you used nail paints form Johara?
