Hey Girls, hows the new year treating you? I am receiving various subscription boxes almost every day and the new year fun has doubled up. Last evening I received my Fab Bag for January 2018 – The Beauty Blowout. Fab Bag is a vintage subscription bag. This is the first bag I ever subscribed to and I still do with a few misses in between. Most of the times, Fab Bag ships SUGAR newly launched products. This time too Fab Bag shipped the newly launched SUGAR Blush and a new shade of SUGAR Matte AS Hell Crayon Lipstick. I am quite content with the bag, and I shall tell you why. Fab Bag January 2018 – The Beauty Blowout The theme of the bag is The Beauty Blowout. Fab Bag has planned to blow your mind with all the beauty and makeup products this month. I see 3 makeup products while 3 skin care products in the bag. The Bag– The bag is very pretty. The leather bag has a chromium metallic texture and a sturdy zip. It is good sized and can hold a lot of products while travelling. SUGAR Matte As Hell Lip Crayon Lipstick 07 Viola (Rs. 625/- for 2.5gm) SUGAR Contour De Force Mini Blush 01 Peach Peak (Full Size – 299/- ) Nirvana Handmade Soap – Orange Honey (Full Size Rs. 200/- ) Johara Pro Shine Nail Color – Toffee Brown (Full Size : 250/- ) Vedantika Herbals Lemon Grass Face Wash (Rs. 150/- for 50ml) Acnes Purifying Clarifying Face Wash ( 2 Sachets) SUGAR Matte As Hell Lip Crayon 07 Viola SUGAR Matte As Hell Lip Crayon is pure love. I am a big fan of this range. I love the color range and the performance of these crayon lipsticks. SUGAR Matte As Hell Lip Crayon Lipstick 07 Viola is a kind of nude shade. It’s a mix of brown & peach, brown being the dominating shade. The shade is quite comparable to SUGAR Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick in Holy Golightly The shade is very wearable for everyday. Also it will go beautifully with loud eye makeup. SUGAR Contour De Force Mini Blush 01 Peach Peak SUGAR recently launched face makeup. So we have now blush, highlighter & bronzer from SUGAR. I got to select the shade for my bag so I chose the shade Peach Peak since it goes well with my wheatish complexion. The blush is fine textured powder and it goes smoothly on skin. I love the pigmentation it yields. The shade is peachy and looks very beautiful & natural on my skin tone. This piece is must grab girls. Don’t miss it. Nirvana Handmade Soap – Orange Honey This is my first soap from Nirvana. I am seeing this brand a lot online. I am quite excited to try it. The smell of the soap is heavenly. It smells very refreshing. I am sure the soap will give a nice bathing experience. Also I am expecting it to be moisturizing since it contains honey. Johara Pro Shine Nail Color – Toffee Brown I received this nail color in one of my previous bag in the same shade. This is a light brown shade with shimmer which looks like almost rose gold. It is a nice wearable shade. Read it’s complete review here. Vedantika Herbals Lemon Grass Face Wash Lemon Grass has a refreshing smell. I am really excited to try out this face wash from Vedantika Herbals. This gel based face wash looks quite promising. I have already used Vedantika Herbals Facial Scrub which was a nice product. This face wash looks very promising too. Acnes Purifying Clarifying Face Wash Acnes is a brand that offers products that target acne. I have used this face wash when it was launched few years back. Honestly, I don’t remember it’s effect on my acne prone skin, so I am again going to try it. I wish Fab Bag had provided some more quantity. Because it’s not something very costly. These were the 6 products that I received in my January edition of Fab Bag. All the products seem quite usable to me. I am very excited to try out SUGAR products. Above all the bag is very nice. Good Morning. I thought let’s start the day with some color on nails today. Here I am presenting review of Johara Pro Shine Nail Color in Toffee Brown. Johara says, that Pro Shine is a fabulous range which presents a range of wide colors speaking of romance, sophistication & style. So now fun is on your fingers & charm is on your toes. Let’s get to know this nail color more in detail. Price Rs. 250 for 10ml. Ingredients Packaging There is a small black card box with “Johara Pro Shine Nail Color” printed over it in white fancy font. The black card box also contains ingredient list & some more information about the nail paint. Inside is a cylindrical glass pot with silver cap cum applicator fitted at the top. The applicator of the nail paint is quite slim, hence won’t cover whole nail in one go. But I find that all right. I liked the simple & elegant packaging which is sturdy enough for travel purpose. Shade Description – Toffee Brown This is a beautiful light brown shade with lot of shimmer & shine in it. The color is beautiful & going to suit every skin tone due to it’s earthy nature. First swipe of the color over nails give a rose-gold color while the second coat brings out the true shade of the nail paint. Fragrance & Texture It has typical acetone smell. I think nail paints just can’t escape the smell because of their formulation. Right? The texture is more runny than SUGAR Tic Tac Toe Nail Lacquer, so have to be quick to apply it. Pigmentation The pigmentation of the nail paint is average. As I mentioned earlier, the color looks more of Rose-Gold than brown with first swipe. Even though Rose- Gold looks great on hands, but to bring out the true color of the nail paint, you must go for a second swipe. It’s not highly pigmented as Bowl of berries from SUGAR. Finish Pro Shine is a shimmery-shiny range from Johara, the finish of this shade – Toffee Brown, is also shiny with the hints of shimmer in it. The nails look really shiny. The finish is perfect for night outs & parties. Longevity The nail color stays intact for 3-4 days & later it starts fading off. After using SUGAR nail lacquers, I find this nail lacquer to be average in performance. I feel since the pigmentation of the nail paint is average, hence the nail paint starts fading off soon. Likes Beautiful shade. Quick dry formula. The range is full of shine & shimmer. Perfect for night outs & events. Elegant & sturdy packaging. Affordable. Dislikes The pigmentation & the longevity are average. Summary : 4/5 Johara Pro Shine Nail Color Toffee Brown, is a beautiful shade from the range, but for the same price, there are much better performing nail paints. If you do not mind touching up regularly or like to change your nail paint every 3-4 days, you can go ahead with the range. Have you used nail paints form Johara?
