With the start of summer the oily skin beauties start their hunt for oil clear face wash. It’s not like it’s tough to spot one, as the market is full of such products. Almost every brand has such an oil clearing or oil controlling face wash. For instance Himalaya Oil Clear Face wash is pretty hit already. Last year, Himalaya introduced Fresh Start Oil Clear Face wash range. This is the first time, Himalaya introduced fruity ranges for their face wash. Let’s have a look on the variants and their performance. Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face Wash Kick start your day with Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face wash in various fruity flavors. The goodness of citrus-y fruits is packed inside these face washes such as Blueberry, Lemon, Peach or Strawberry, along with Gooseberry, will help you achieve the fresh look you always desire. Each face wash contains natural beads to clear away oil and grime. Variants Available : Blueberry, Lemon, Strawberry, Peach Price: Rs. 140 for 100ml. Buy here. An Ideal Oil control Face Wash Now there is a catch with oil control or oil clearing face washes. If you use a really strong face wash, it will end up drying up your skin. Which will trigger your skin’s oil glands to produce more oil. So, even after using a strong oil clearing face wash, you might feel your T-zone getting oily with an hour. So never ever opt for a face wash that makes you feel stripped off of oil. Your skin should feel fresh, clear and plump after using a cleanser or face wash. Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face Wash Lemon Even the original oil clear face wash from Himalaya contains Lemon. Lemon is one of the most used ingredient used in oil control face wash. Himalaya Fresh start Oil Clear Face Wash is a pungent yellow colored gel based face wash which also contains very tiny colorful beads. These beads kind of dissolves when you massage the face wash over your skin. I love the scent of this face wash, It’s’ very fresh and pleasant. But it’s not strong, rather it’s something that would wake you up fully in the morning. The face wash lathers up pretty well, and washes away oil leaving behind clean skin. Skin feel taut and bright post usage. I quite like this variant. It keeps skin matte for 2 hours and then the oil returns. Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face Wash Blueberry First of all, it’s the scent of the face wash that makes me wanna use it. Mild yet addictive. This is a blue colored gel based face wash with beads in it. It also lathers up pretty well and cleanses skin beautifully. Blueberries and Gooseberry are the main ingredients of the face wash, which are full of anti oxidant and Vitamin C which brightens up skin. Not sure how many anti oxidants it delivers with that 1 minute of face washing ritual, but it surely brightens up my complexion temporarily. Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face Wash Peach Who does not loves peaches. But this variant from the Fresh Start range, has the most over powering fragrance. It’s utterly sweet. It has the same texture and performance as the other variants , but because of the smell, I use it the least. It is orange colored gel based face wash with multi color beads. Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face Wash Strawberry This strawberry infused face wash is another variant from Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face Wash range. This is another good choice as an oil clear face wash for oily skin. It has sweet fragrance to remind you of your favorite fruit. The face wash is red colored gel based face wash. It boosts complexion and hydrates skin. The Good Fruit based oil clear face wash. Clears oil and dirt in one wash. Does not dry out skin. Bright and beautiful packaging. Does not dry out skin. Controls oil for about 2 hours. Affordable and economical. The Bad I only don’t like the peach variant from the range as it has overpowering scent. Rating: 4.5/5 Himalaya Fresh start Oil Clear Face Wash is a new range from Himalaya with fruity variants such as Strawberry, Lemon, Blueberry and Peach. The face washes are gel based and contain beads too. They effectively clean skin of oil and grime. They also keep skin oil free for about 2 hours without drying out the skin. Being affordable is another plus point for these face washes. If you are also looking for an oil controlling face wash, Himalaya Fresh Start is a nice choice. The fruity variants are a plus. Let me know how you liked the review. Leave your comments below. Nisha Malik ❤ Facebook | Instagram

Your feet are precious. Your feet are as important as your face or hands. I am sure you know that already, but do you find it hard to give them the intensive care that they deserve? Are you fed up with your cracked heels? I know the struggle is real. I have been there. Post delivery, I could not take proper care of my feet and my heels cracked like hell. It took a lot of efforts to get them back to normal. Wish I had used Himalaya FootCare Cream back then. It would have been so much easier to treat my dry & cracked heels if I had known about this foot cream. Being a working woman, a homemaker, a mother, a superwoman, you still might miss caring for your feet. Himalaya Wellness bring FootCare Cream which is all you need to have soft feet & crack free heels. You don’t have to get regular pedicures to keep your feet but regular application of this turmeric & honey enriched foot cream can keep your foot worries away. Himalaya FootCare Cream Our feet carries our body weight which make them work extra hard. Skin at feet gets dry & rough. Heels crack giving the worst sight. Himalaya Wellness FootCare Cream, is enriched with natural moisturizing ingredients to heel the feet. Within one week it soothes, moisturizes & softens feet & heels. Replenish lost moisture via daily application of Himalaya FootCare Cream which is gentle yet effective to deeply moisturize skin. Use this foot cream daily to get soft & smooth feet. Sal Tree : Antimicrobial & anti – inflammatory Turmeric & Honey : Antiseptic & Germicide action Fenugreek : Heals crack & relieve inflammation Price & Availability Himalaya FootCare Cream comes in two sizes. 20g packaging is available at Rs. 49 while 50g is available at Rs. 110. The cream is available online & offline. Buy it here. Ingredients Packaging Himalaya FootCare Cream in the signature tube packaging of the brand, white opaque tube with green screw-in cap at the mouth of the tube. The tube describes the product very well giving out the ingredients & directions to use. The tube comes packed in a white card box with all the information printed over the pack. The cream is available in two sizes, 20g & 50g. Fragrance & Texture The fragrance of the cream is a nice of of herbal & flowery smell. It is mild and pleasant. It vanishes pretty quick. Similarly the cream vanishes into my feet very quickly because of it’s light weight and non oily texture. This is a big relief. I don’t have to rub it vigorously to get it absorbed. Gone are the days when foot creams would leave behind your foot prints. How To Use Himalaya FootCare Cream? Wash your feet with gentle cleanser and water. Pat dry. Apply a nice amount of Himalaya FootCream Cream all over your feet and heels. Massage gently and let the cream absorb. Use it twice daily. Once in the morning after shower & then again at night before going to bed. My Experience Apparently, I never considered foot creams to be an essential part of my daily routine. But constant negligence is not a good thing. When motherhood takes over, feet are the last thing you can think about or care for. That’s what happens with me too. I don’t have the luxury of time and getting regular pedicure is not my thing. So apparently cracked heels is inevitable specially during winter. As the cold days started I could see my feet were getting dull day by day. They were not tanned, but they lost moisture and started looking really dull. Also I started noticing some cracks in my heels. I got really distressed. That’s the time when I received Himalaya FootCare Cream. I liked the light weight texture of the cream. It absorbs very quickly. There is no stickiness in the texture of the cream. It does not stain my bed sheets or make my feet slippery. It also smells very nice. Himalaya FootCare Cream worked pretty well for my dry feet. It moisturizes skin from the very first use. Without making my feet sticky, it works deeply to repair damage. When skin is nourished it has a healthy glow, be it your face or your feet. So moisture is the first step to get soft feet. The cream has very impressive ingredient list. Honey is known to be great moisturizer along with being an antiseptic. Turmeric is anti bacterial and germicide to bring down inflammation. Sal Tree & Fenugreek works to heal deep cracks making heels soft & supple. Regular usage of this foot care cream can keep feet happy. The foot cream is also pocket friendly & available in two sizes. So now you can toss away your feet worries and continue your amazing-woman-job. I just wish it had been parabene free too. Because that’s the last thing I would want in my products. Himalaya FootCare Cream, is a lightweight feet cream which contains turmeric, honey , Sal tree & fenugreek as it’s main ingredients to moisturize & heel cracked creams. The cream absorbs quickly and has very mild and pleasant smell. It works beautifully to heal and repair dry & dull skin of feet which requires more moisture than our body. The cream comes in fuss free packaging as well as is very affordable. The only negative point of the cream is the parabenes that it contains. So ladies now don’t you worry about dry and cracked heels. Himalaya FootCare Cream, is going to be your one stop solution. You have more important duties rather than to worry about your feet. what you say? Also Read What Else Do I Own From Himalaya? Much Love Nisha ❤

Guest Post By Sreeparna Hi Guys! Summer is here and my sweaty face cannot bear anything more than a compact now-a-days. So, I am emphasizing more on Kajals and colourful lip balms. I can’t leave the house without makeup you know! Recently I got myself a new Kajal from Elle 18 because I heard good reviews about it. Previously I was switching between Lakme Eyeconic Green and Himalaya Kajal. Both Himalaya Kajal and the Elle 18 one are of black colour and both of them come under Rs.200. So, in my today’s post I will be comparing both of them to find out which one is the best quality wise, quantity wise and most importantly performance wise. Elle 18 Eye Drama Kajal in Bold Black Elle 18 Eye Drama Kajal is a simple and fuss-free twist-up basic black kajal that is a new addition to my makeup collection. These kinds of products are convenient for everyday purpose and even for occasional purposes because you only need a minute to go over both the eyes if you have practice and the eyes will be done. I have used Lakme Eyeconic, Maybelline Colossal and 1-2 other kajals of this sleek form but this one seemed to be the blackest one with amazingly smooth formula, pigmentation and staying power. Being the least costly one from this category of kohl, I expected it to be moderately good. But, I am really astonished to see the performance! For this price it’s no doubt a steal deal. Opthalmologically tested formula; would not irritate eyes Priced at Rs.135 for 0.35gm. Buy here. Comes in retractable stick form Gives jet black color in single swipe More or less Smudge-proof and Waterproof Although the tip is not sharp-able, the tip remains fine enough for both upper and lower lashline application Formula is buttery soft, no need to tug or pull at the time of application Stays intact for 6+ hours in my case; staying power is comparable to Maybelline Colossal Rating: 5/5 Himalaya Herbals Kajal Extra Smooth Water Proof Eye Definer Last year I was in an all-herbal fever when this Kajal from Himalaya landed into my stash. It had everything that a perfect herbal kajal should have; good pigmentation, herbal formulation was two most important of them. After using it for a few days, the cons started to appear. It was not smudge-proof, waterproof and long-lasting. I did not take the pains to set the kajal with anything in powder form. So, at the end of the day I was left with racoon eyes. I remember making frequent washroom visits at college to remove the smudged kajal from the under eye area. After a few hours I used to get exhausted of clearing under eye and the panda eyes were what I would see after coming home. Finally I realized this formula is not for me and since then the Kajal is sitting in my vanity as it is. If you want my opinion on this product I would say, go for this if you are a pro with non-smudge-proof kajals or if you are allergic to chemical based kajals. Contains the goodness of Damask Rose, Triphala, Castor Oil and Camphor Priced at Rs.120 for 2.7gm . Buy here. Comes in retractable bullet form; looks like lipstick bullet Gives dark black colour in one swipe itself Not Smudge-proof at all and Waterproof to some extent; smudges very easily giving racoon eyes Non-sharpable tip gets blunt after a few uses, precise application becomes tricky Formula is very smooth, glides easily Stays only 1-2 hours for the waterline and 2-3 hours for lower lashline Rating: 2/5 Few Comparison Pictures For You: Also Read Your Guide To Smudge Proof Kajal SUGAR Stroke Of Genius Heavy Duty Kohl In Black Lakme Eyeconic Kajal – Turquoise & Royal Blue Lakme Eyeconic Kajal – White VLCC Enchanting Eyes Kajal SUMMARY Elle 18 Kajal Himalaya Kajal Packaging Twist-up Sleek Stick Retractable Bullet Availability Easy Easy Formula Buttery Soft Soft and Smooth Shade Jet Black Jet Black Colour Pay-off Good Good Smudge-proof Yes No Water-proof Yes To some extent Staying Power 6-8 Hours Maximum 2-3 Hours Hope you liked the comparison and this post could help you choosing the best. Leave your comments what you think about the 2 kajals in comparison. Love.

Guest Post By Sreeparna In summer months I increase the frequency of hair washes to prevent dandruff from scalp-sweating. It eventually dehydrates my hair and makes them look dull. I like to oil my hair in hot summer days when I am not going to go out. That’s why I need good quality hair oils for summer. I am not much experimental with my hair products because I have hairfall problem too. But, this year I somehow managed myself to get a new hair oil. This is how Himalaya Herbals Anti-Dandruff Hair Oil came to my kitty. Stay tuned to know more on my experience with this low-budget scalp treatment oil. About Himalaya Herbals Anti-Dandruff Hair Oil Anti-Dandruff Hair Oil is a special treatment oil which is enriched with Tea-tree oil, the most effective natural anti-dandruff agent and Rosemary, an effective anti-fungal agent. Neem and Hyaramaka help treat scalp infections that can cause dandruff. Regular use keeps scalp healthy and dandruff-free. Price Rs.170 for 200gm. Buy here. Ingredients Each ml contains: Oils Rusmari Lf. 50mg, Hyamaraka Lf. 20mg, Kayaputi Lf. 5mg, Nimba Sd. 2mg How to Use Apply liberally on hair and scalp and gently massage, leave overnight. Wash with Himalaya Herbals Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. Packaging The Anti-Dandruff hair oil comes on a transparent plastic bottle with deep green plastic flip-open cum screw open cap. This bottle is packed inside a cardboard box with similar label graphics as the bottle. Both the bottle and the box have deep green written information over white. Colour, Texture & Smell This hair oil is colourless and transparent. The texture is not at all thick, but quite runny. Its non-oily formula applies very easily to the hair. This oil has weird herbal smell. I could identify traces of tea tree oil smell in it. Thankfully the smell is not long-staying. The fragrance vanishes within a few hours if I am doing overnight oiling. The smell does not stay after hair wash. My Views I have been using this oil for over one month now. I like to apply it as a pre-shampoo hair nourisher or a substitute of conditioner for the days I am feeling lazy to apply conditioner and let it stay put for 5 minutes. This oil moisturizes my hair quite well without making my head an oil-factory if I am using it as pre-poo. The days I am feeling impatient or I am to stay home I follow my regular shampoo routine with a few drops of this oil. In both these ways, this shampoo makes my hair soft and manageable. These were the pros of this product. Now, in the ingredient list of this ugly smelling product, there are only the names of active ingredients; nothing has been mentioned about the base material of this oil or the preservatives used. I have used some body oils from Himalaya which clearly mentioned all those details. I like to know about what I am putting in my hair so this is a con for me. This shampoo, after using a month, did very less in curing my mild dandruff problem. That means, this oil would take eternity to control heavy dandruff or scalp infection. To me, this one is just another hair oil with herbal formula and some nutrifying properties. Its anti-dandruff claim did not do any work for me. Likes Non-sticky and light-weight formula Contains hair nourishing herbal ingredients like Rosemary and Tea tree Gives nourished and soft hair Budget-friendly Dislikes Does nothing to heavy dandruff or moderate to high scalp irritation Smells weird Only the active ingredients are mentioned in the ingredient list Summary: 2.5/5 This Anti-Dandruff Hair Oil felt like an average product to me. This budget-friendly hair oil just nourishes and softens your hair, takes care of mild dandruff and scalp problems. If you have major scalp issues, then I am afraid this one might disappoint you.

Enough of drying & acne fighting face washes. Sometimes, even oily skin needs gentle cleansing action. I am going to talk about 2 face washes from Himalaya, which are creamy, & suitable for all skin types. The face washes give a glowing complexion with the natural ingredients that they contain. I am talking about, Himalaya Kesar Face Wash & Himalaya Clear Complexion Face Wash. In my stash, you will either find Kesar face wash or the clear complexion face wash. Because, Acne face washes can bring dullness to skin with continuous usage. I do not use acne washes every time I wash my face. I try to give my skin little boost of moisture with creamy face washes. They really revive my skin. I really admire these two face washes from Himalaya for their effectiveness. I have been using it for more than 2-3 years now. I have written about the Kesar face wash here, too. Himalaya Kesar Face Wash – Instant Glow I admire Himalaya for formulating its products with natural ingredients as much as possible. This Kesar face wash mainly contains Kesar & Mint. The face wash is soap free. The face wash gives clearer & brighter skin complexion with every use. The face wash is creamy in texture & hence does not lather much. To me, not lathering much, is not a big issue for me. The face wash feels very nice & minty cool while applied on to the skin. The minty fresh smell & cooling sensation makes me believe that I am using fresh mint on my face. Coming to the after effects, the face wash helps to give glowing skin by keeping tan at bay. I love the fact that it does not leave my skin dry after using it which makes it idea for every skin type. Priced at 120 for 100ml & Rs. 150 for 150ml, I feel this is very affordable for the amazing results it provides. You can buy it here. Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Wash This is another creamy face wash from Himalaya which is menat to be used for all skin types becasuse of it’s consistency & ingredients. This face wash also contains Saffron (kaser) in ot’s main ingredients. But in addition to Safforn, the face wash also contains Licorice & White Dammer to fade away dark spots since it is a whitening face wash. Pomegranate present in the face wash moisturizes skin while Cucumber soothes down skin. It is advised to be used evening and night to maintain healthy glowing complexion. The texture of the face wash is creamy almost same as the Kesar Fash wash, just little more runny. It also does not lather much. It has a very mild, sweet & pleasant smell different from the Kesar face wash. It is also easy to wash it off, does not require much water. Coming to the after effects of the face wash, the face wash does help in keeping complexion nice & glowing, but it leaves skin little stretchy. I just cannot skip moisturizer. The face wash is priced very reasonably though. It is priced at Rs. 130 for 100ml. Buy here. Which One Do I Prefer? I always prefer Himalaya Kesar Face Wash in place of Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Wash due to the fact that, the Kesar face wash does not leave my skin stretchy while the other one is not that good at moisturizing. There is not much difference in the quality & the performance of the face washes, since the active ingredients are almost the same. But there is always a preference among the same two, isn’t it? Hope you liked the small comparision post. Do you want me to compare any similar products? Let me know, I would try the best. Love.

A weekly skin pampering routine is never complete without a scrub. Actually it is advised to use a scrub biweekly. There are some people who does not feel clean until they use a scrub (guilty). A scrub contains a mixture of small granuals and some cream/gel base to clean the dead skin off your face revealing a radiant and smooth skin beneath. A scrub should not be abrasive but should be good enough to do the job well. Scrubbing helps to keep the blackheads away also skin care products penetrate well after a scrub has been used. Himalaya Herbals has a range dedicated to Neem, such as face wash, foam wash and a face pack. Every product from this range is very popular with oily and acne prone skinned beauties. Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Scrub does not require any introduction, I feel every girl (with oily skin) must have tried and loved this product. I thought let me share my views on this range too. I am starting with the scrub form Neem range of Himalaya Herbals. About Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Scrub This scrub mainly contains Neem, Apricot & Turmeric. The basic ingredients are natural and have anti bacterial properties so that skin stays problem free. Neem & Turmeric has anti bacterial properties to kill the acne-causing bacteria on skin giving it a purifying effect. While Apricot gently exfoliates skin and revealing bright skin. The granuals are gentle and does not harm the skin. All you are left is your new skin, problem free, soft & clear. Ingredients Key – Ingredients are Neem, Apricot & Turmeric. Inactives– Methylparabene IP, Propylparabene IP, Phenoxyethanol IP. Price Rs. 130 for 100 gms, Rs. 70 for 50 gms. Buy here. Packaging Himalaya Herbals has its signature packaging of white tube with green tube and accents. This scrub also comes in the same white tube and green flip top cap. This type of packaging is good for skin care products since its hygienic and easy to carry around. Colour, Texture & Smell It is light green cream based scrub with red, green & blue fine granuals. The granuals of this scrub are very mild but effective. The scrub has a mild and sweet smell. My Skin Type Oily, acne prone & sensitive. My Experience I do not remember when I first tried this scrub, but I remember using it on and off always. I stop using it when I get bored of using it. Himalaya’s Neem range is really effective and popular among acne prone skinned girls. The face wash is considered to be the very first product to be used when you suffer from teen acne. I suffer from hormonal breakouts, so the neem range can not really do much about it. But the scrub is really effective in keeping my skin free of dead skin and gives me effective exfoliation without hurting my skin. The scrub has very small granuals still I experience a good scrubbing effect. All I am left is soft, smooth & bright skin. It never irritates my skin nor does it aggravates existing acne. I would not recommend it for every day scrubbing job though. I suffer from bleak heads on my nose, but they never fully disappear even after using this scrub. The scrub is affordable and economical too. My SIL has dry skin and she loves it too. I feel this suits every skin type. Likes Natural & herbal composition. Contains the goodness of Neem & Turmeric. Has anti bacterial properties. The scrubbing granuals are mild yet effective. Leaves skin soft, smooth & bright. Does not cause or aggravate acne. Affordable & easily available. Travel friendly packaging. Suitable for all skin types. Dislikes Not much effective on my black heads. Contains Parabenes. Summary : ❤❤❤❤❤ A very popular, affordable and effective scrub with the goodness of Neem & Turmeric. It clarifies and purifies skin at the same time. I think this scrub replace any high end brand scrub. It does its job perfectly at a very economical price. A must have for oily & acne prone skinned girls.

Hi Girls. Am I the only one who is feeling that winter is bidding goodbye? I am just not ready for summers yet. Please God, make this winter season last little longer. I am just not done yet. Okay I will stop now, let’s hope God would listen. Before the cold season is totally over, let me tell you about another Cocoa Butter body lotion. The lotion is from Himalaya Herbals, our very trusted brand. Himalaya Herbals is one of the oldest Indian brand with huge skin and hair care lines. Also, since his birth, I am using Himalaya’s baby products for Aarav. His skin and hair are healthy. I have found that Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter are highly effective in keeping dry skin moisturised and healthy. Winter makes my hands and body really dry, and I lean on to Cocoa Butter based products to keep it calm. So let me tell you what you can expect from the Cocoa Butter Lotion from Himalaya. About Himalaya Herbals Cocoa Butter Intensive Body Lotion Himalaya says that this lotion targets very dry skin. It moisturises and heals dry skin. The brand claims that this lotion is a luxurious blend of carefully selected botanical that intensively moisturises skin and provides essential nutrition to our skin. The lotion is enriched with HYDRA- NUTRI Balance which works three fold. Hydration– It locks natural moisture within the skin and provides the required nutrition. Also skin’s own ability to absorb moisture and lock it within increases. Nutrition – Cocoa Butter repairs and moisturizes skin while improving skin texture. Wheat Germ Oil – Wheat Germ Oil contains Vitamin E which makes skin more elastic. It is Hypoallergenic which means it has been tested and is not likely to cause any kind of allergy. It has also been dermatologically tested. Also it does not contain harmful chemicals. Price Rs. 140 for 200ml. Buy here at discounted price. Ingredients The key ingredients of this body lotion are Cocoa Butter & Wheat Germ Oil. Below is the complete list of all the ingredients. Packaging It comes in Himalaya’s signature white bottle with green cap packaging. There is graphical representation of cocoa beans getting submerged into cream, depicting the making of this lotion. There is also a cream version of this product which comes in tub packaging. Colour, Texture & Smell Even though the lotion is Cocoa Butter based, but it is not sticky or oily. Once absorbed, there are oily finger stains on my laptop keyboard, only smooth, moisturised and sweet smelling skin. The colour of this lotion is something between off white and white. My Experience No matter how many body lotions I own, I still grab another if I like the packaging and the ingredients. I have something for Cocoa smell. This was another reason I picked this body lotion last year and loved using it. This year too, it made it’s way to my bathroom shelve. The lotion contains really impressive ingredients. Cocoa Butter is known for it’s repairing and moisturising properties. Wheat Germ Oil is another wonderful ingredient which contains Vitamin E providing excellent anti-ageing properties t skin. My skin becomes really dry during winter and cries for heavy duty moisturization. Himalaya’s Cocoa butter body lotion really helps reviving my skin. It definitely is an affordable and effective body lotion. It gets easily absorbed, and is nothing like a heavy oil based body lotion. There is no oily or greasiness afterwords. The lotion is little thick but surprisingly gets absorbed really fast into the skin. It leaves skin moisturised and calm. Moisturised skin looks healthy and glowy. My skin stays moisturised for long hours. I do not need to re apply it until later in the evening. There is no stretchy feeling or dry lines. It does what it promises to do. Likes Contains Cocoa Butter & Wheat Germ Oil. Even though it contains heavy ingredients, it gets absorbed into skin very easily. Skin feels smooth and soft. Skin stays moisturised for long hours. Hypo allergic. Dermatologically tested. Affordable & easily available. Dislikes Since the lotion is little thick it gets little tedious to take out the lotion out of the narrow nozzle sometimes. Also it tends to get deposited within the nozzle and needs to be cleaned every now and then. Summary : 4.75/5 It is a definitely a great body lotion during winter season for all skin types to stay moisturised all day long. It contains the goodness of Cocoa Butter & Wheatgerm Oil. Does not contain harmful chemicals. Also it is very affordable and easily available. Also Check Out Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Non Greasy Body Lotion Joy Cocoa Rich Intense Nourishing Body Lotion Lotus Herbals WHITEGLOW Skin Whitening And Brightening Hand And Body Lotion SPF 25 Joy Honey & Almonds Nourishing Body Lotion Nivea Nourishing Lotion Body Milk Vaseline total Moisture Cocoa Glow Nourishing Lotion XOXO

Hi Girls, At a local store yesterday, I wanted to grab a bottle of Maybelline Fit Me foundation but the SA lured me into buying some Miss Claire products. Miss Claire is quite a popular brand among bloggers since it brings out dupe for NYX products mostly. I have used some lip creams before, from Miss Claire, today got few more. The lip creams from Miss Claire are no doubt one of the best product from the brand. I was so amazed to see the wide range of the shades at the local store. Plus they are so affordable, I felt like grabbing whatever I my small eyes could see. I got 5 shades from Miss Claire Lip Cream Range – 02,13, 28, 39 & 41. Sadly the store did not have any testers, so I just picked up judging the packaging. I also got Miss Claire Born To Glow Illuminator, which comes in almost exact packaging as NYX Illuminator. I was also shocked to see that it was titled as ‘Born To Glow’ same as the NYX Born To Glow Illuminator. The illuminator also comes in many shades as the NYX illuminator. Miss Claire seems to be following NYX very closely, I guess. There were too many blushes, eye shadows, and what not at the store. I also got blue shimmer dust since blue glitter was not available. Only I know, how I pushed myself away from the blushes. I might be visiting that local store again soon. This Miss Claire Lip Balm is favourite of my sister. She was constantly looking for it around her place but was not available. Glad I found it. Though she uses the strawberry flavour, but efficacy would be the same, I am sure. I also got Lotus Ecostay Primer & Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 128. Will let you know how the primer fared on my skin since I will be using it for the very first time. Coming to skin care items, I got Himalaya Natural Glow Fairness Cream which is doing very well on my skin after horrible breakout from The Face Shop White Seed Moisture Cream. For the very first time I got Neutrogena Oil free moisturiser, which is a popular moisturiser among bloggers who have combination to oily skin tone. I have very thin eye brows, so I mostly use an eyebrow pencil to thicken them up. Cameleon eye brow pencil in brown, has a lash brush attached at the end, so eye brow can be groomed with just single product. It was under 100 bucks. Colorbar has same kind of product which is waterproof, but that costs about 650 bucks. Will try to put some swatches of the lip creams pretty soon. Hope you will like the shades I got. Want to check out my other haul posts? Lazy Saturday Ramblings Another Saturday Ramblings I really wonder why I wander on Saturdays 😀 Will let you know, as soon as I get to know. XOXO

Himalaya Herbals is a very affordable and trusted brand. It is a house hold name. It has vast product variety. The products offered are herbal. Be it face, body or hair, for every skin/hair type/condition, Himalaya has great products to offer. Today I am going to review a moisturising face wash, Aloe Vera Face Wash. If you think, you can use little harsh cleanser during winter and follow up with a heavy duty, it’s your call, but I feel, tempering with skin’s natural moisture only hurts it further. Harsh cleansers can deter the pH level of skin calling for trouble. Skin looks dull and rough if it is ripped off it’s natural moisture. Hence I believe in using a moisturising and gentle cleanser during dry days. About Himalaya Herbals Moisturising Aloe Vera Face Wash A soap-free, herbal formulation enriched with natural Vitamin-E that gently cleanses and moisturiser. Unlike soap, your face will not dry and stretched. Cucumber cools and soothes, and Aloe vera tones and softens your skin. Use regularly for clean, freah and glowing soft skin. Price Rs. 60 for 50ml. Rs. 110 for 100ml. Buy 100ml at discounted price here. How To Use Moisten face and neck; apply a small amount of Moisturising Aloe Vera Face Wash and gently work up lather using circular motion. Wash off and pat dry. Use twice daily. Follow with Himalaya Nourishing Face Moisturizing Lotion. Use Himalaya refreshing Fruit Pack once a week to refresh and rejuvenate the skin. Ingredients AQUA, AMMOINUN LAURYL SULPHATE, COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, STEARIC ACID, GLYCERIN, SODIUM LAUROYL SARCOSINATE, GLYCOL STEARATE, GLYCERYL STEARATE & PEG-100 STEARATE, CUCUMIS SATIVUS FRUIT EXTRACT, CETYL ALCOHOL, FRAGRANCE, XANTHAN GUM, PHENOXYETHANOL, ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, COCO-GLUCOSIDE & GLYCERYL OLEATE, METHYLCHLOROISOTHIAZOLINONE & METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE, METHANOL, TOCOPHEROL, DISODIUM EDTA. Packaging It comes in Himalaya signature packaging, i.e. transparent tube with green accents and flip top to disperse the product. This tube packaging is very preferable with cosmetics so that I do not have to dip your fingers into the product or grab a spoon to take it out. the packaging is quite travel friendly since 50ml size is small enough to fit into your handbag or vanity case. Colour, Texture & Smell The face wash is light green coloured to resemble it’s composition of Aloe vera & Cucumbers. The texture of the face wash is creamy and smooth. It smells quite refreshing but little artificial. My Experience I used this face wash during last winter. Also got it this year. Even my SILs use it. The face wash is definitely a must have for winter/dry days. Winter can take out moisture even from an oily skin, while dry skin is already devoid of natural moisture. Hence, winters call for a creamy/moisturising face wash so that the moisture level of your skin is maintained and it stays soft and smooth. Himalaya Aloe Vera Moisturising Face Wash, has a creamy consistency, but it does not mean that you will be left oily, shiny after washing your face. It certainly works as a face wash without stealing off skin’s natural moisture. It is gentle on skin. I quite like the experience of washing my face with this one. It does not deposit any cream/oil on your face. It does it’s job of cleaning the skin very well. It takes away dirt, oil, impurities and light makeup with it. It doesn ot lather much, because of it’s consistency, so it is massaged onto the skin. That way it dissolves all the impurities of the skin leaving it queaky clean. Also there is no soapy/slippery film after washing the face. Skin does not feel stretchy or dry. It does not rip off skin’s natural moisture, but a moisturiser can not be skipped even for my oily skin. A very little product is needed for every application, hence it is quite economical. The only problem with tube packaging is the fact that, it gets very difficult to take the product out once it is about to finish. I start rolling the tube starting from the end of the tube to the opening, and that’s how I disperse the product in it’s last days. Likes Herbal face wash, containing the goodness of Aloe vera and Cucumber, highly moisturising in nature. Contains Vitamin E. Cleans skin very well. Creamy texture. Skin feels fresh and soft. Formulated specially for dry skin, but suits all skin types. Smells nice. Does not dry out skin. Affordable and easily available Dislikes None Summary : 5/5 Non drying, effective in cleansing and affordable face wash for dry skin types. Works great even for oily skin during winter.
