With the start of summer the oily skin beauties start their hunt for oil clear face wash. It’s not like it’s tough to spot one, as the market is full of such products. Almost every brand has such an oil clearing or oil controlling face wash. For instance Himalaya Oil Clear Face wash is pretty hit already. Last year, Himalaya introduced Fresh Start Oil Clear Face wash range. This is the first time, Himalaya introduced fruity ranges for their face wash. Let’s have a look on the variants and their performance. Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face Wash Kick start your day with Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face wash in various fruity flavors. The goodness of citrus-y fruits is packed inside these face washes such as Blueberry, Lemon, Peach or Strawberry, along with Gooseberry, will help you achieve the fresh look you always desire. Each face wash contains natural beads to clear away oil and grime. Variants Available : Blueberry, Lemon, Strawberry, Peach Price: Rs. 140 for 100ml. Buy here. An Ideal Oil control Face Wash Now there is a catch with oil control or oil clearing face washes. If you use a really strong face wash, it will end up drying up your skin. Which will trigger your skin’s oil glands to produce more oil. So, even after using a strong oil clearing face wash, you might feel your T-zone getting oily with an hour. So never ever opt for a face wash that makes you feel stripped off of oil. Your skin should feel fresh, clear and plump after using a cleanser or face wash. Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face Wash Lemon Even the original oil clear face wash from Himalaya contains Lemon. Lemon is one of the most used ingredient used in oil control face wash. Himalaya Fresh start Oil Clear Face Wash is a pungent yellow colored gel based face wash which also contains very tiny colorful beads. These beads kind of dissolves when you massage the face wash over your skin. I love the scent of this face wash, It’s’ very fresh and pleasant. But it’s not strong, rather it’s something that would wake you up fully in the morning. The face wash lathers up pretty well, and washes away oil leaving behind clean skin. Skin feel taut and bright post usage. I quite like this variant. It keeps skin matte for 2 hours and then the oil returns. Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face Wash Blueberry First of all, it’s the scent of the face wash that makes me wanna use it. Mild yet addictive. This is a blue colored gel based face wash with beads in it. It also lathers up pretty well and cleanses skin beautifully. Blueberries and Gooseberry are the main ingredients of the face wash, which are full of anti oxidant and Vitamin C which brightens up skin. Not sure how many anti oxidants it delivers with that 1 minute of face washing ritual, but it surely brightens up my complexion temporarily. Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face Wash Peach Who does not loves peaches. But this variant from the Fresh Start range, has the most over powering fragrance. It’s utterly sweet. It has the same texture and performance as the other variants , but because of the smell, I use it the least. It is orange colored gel based face wash with multi color beads. Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face Wash Strawberry This strawberry infused face wash is another variant from Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face Wash range. This is another good choice as an oil clear face wash for oily skin. It has sweet fragrance to remind you of your favorite fruit. The face wash is red colored gel based face wash. It boosts complexion and hydrates skin. The Good Fruit based oil clear face wash. Clears oil and dirt in one wash. Does not dry out skin. Bright and beautiful packaging. Does not dry out skin. Controls oil for about 2 hours. Affordable and economical. The Bad I only don’t like the peach variant from the range as it has overpowering scent. Rating: 4.5/5 Himalaya Fresh start Oil Clear Face Wash is a new range from Himalaya with fruity variants such as Strawberry, Lemon, Blueberry and Peach. The face washes are gel based and contain beads too. They effectively clean skin of oil and grime. They also keep skin oil free for about 2 hours without drying out the skin. Being affordable is another plus point for these face washes. If you are also looking for an oil controlling face wash, Himalaya Fresh Start is a nice choice. The fruity variants are a plus.

Enough of drying & acne fighting face washes. Sometimes, even oily skin needs gentle cleansing action. I am going to talk about 2 face washes from Himalaya, which are creamy, & suitable for all skin types. The face washes give a glowing complexion with the natural ingredients that they contain. I am talking about, Himalaya Kesar Face Wash & Himalaya Clear Complexion Face Wash. In my stash, you will either find Kesar face wash or the clear complexion face wash. Because, Acne face washes can bring dullness to skin with continuous usage. I do not use acne washes every time I wash my face. I try to give my skin little boost of moisture with creamy face washes. They really revive my skin. I really admire these two face washes from Himalaya for their effectiveness. I have been using it for more than 2-3 years now. I have written about the Kesar face wash here, too. Himalaya Kesar Face Wash – Instant Glow I admire Himalaya for formulating its products with natural ingredients as much as possible. This Kesar face wash mainly contains Kesar & Mint. The face wash is soap free. The face wash gives clearer & brighter skin complexion with every use. The face wash is creamy in texture & hence does not lather much. To me, not lathering much, is not a big issue for me. The face wash feels very nice & minty cool while applied on to the skin. The minty fresh smell & cooling sensation makes me believe that I am using fresh mint on my face. Coming to the after effects, the face wash helps to give glowing skin by keeping tan at bay. I love the fact that it does not leave my skin dry after using it which makes it idea for every skin type. Priced at 120 for 100ml & Rs. 150 for 150ml, I feel this is very affordable for the amazing results it provides. You can buy it here. Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Wash This is another creamy face wash from Himalaya which is menat to be used for all skin types becasuse of it’s consistency & ingredients. This face wash also contains Saffron (kaser) in ot’s main ingredients. But in addition to Safforn, the face wash also contains Licorice & White Dammer to fade away dark spots since it is a whitening face wash. Pomegranate present in the face wash moisturizes skin while Cucumber soothes down skin. It is advised to be used evening and night to maintain healthy glowing complexion. The texture of the face wash is creamy almost same as the Kesar Fash wash, just little more runny. It also does not lather much. It has a very mild, sweet & pleasant smell different from the Kesar face wash. It is also easy to wash it off, does not require much water. Coming to the after effects of the face wash, the face wash does help in keeping complexion nice & glowing, but it leaves skin little stretchy. I just cannot skip moisturizer. The face wash is priced very reasonably though. It is priced at Rs. 130 for 100ml. Buy here. Which One Do I Prefer? I always prefer Himalaya Kesar Face Wash in place of Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Wash due to the fact that, the Kesar face wash does not leave my skin stretchy while the other one is not that good at moisturizing. There is not much difference in the quality & the performance of the face washes, since the active ingredients are almost the same. But there is always a preference among the same two, isn’t it? Hope you liked the small comparision post. Do you want me to compare any similar products? Let me know, I would try the best. Love.
