Even the process to formulate the products is adopted by Ayurveda. I have been trying out few products from the brand and I am quite impressed with the authenticity and quality of the products. Enriched with 13 vital herbs like Aloe Vera, Haldi, Mulethi, Manjishta, Ashwagandha etc, the this brightening & radiance green apple cream nourishes skin deeply while working on the imperfections. Skin looks even toned, brighter & radiant. Natural herbs present in the cream works on the dark spots leaving skin soft & smooth. You have nothing to afraid of as this cream is free of chemicals in the form of preservatives, flavor and color. The cream is available at Rs. 1295 for 50g at Blue Nectar & Amazon. Ingredients Packaging The packaging of all the products from Blue Nectar is very luxurious. Packaging of a product really matters to me. When a product is packed beautifully I enjoy putting it on my skin. It definitely triggers happy hormones. Blue Nectar SHUBHR Brightening & Radiance Green Apple Cream comes packed in a royal blue square box with mustard colored label on it describing the product. Ingredients and other details could also be found at the bottom of the carton. The cream itself is packed in a glass tub with golden screw-in lid along with a plastic lid just on the mouth of the jar to avoid any spill. The packaging reminds me of Forest Essential Eye Cream. The glass jar also has a mustard colored label describing the product. The tub itself is small and cute and looks quite sturdy too unless dropped from a nice height. In case you have to travel, you can ditch the outer carton and juts carry along the tub of the cream. Fragrance & Texture It most certainly smells of green apples, that too fresh ones. The fragrance is sweet and mild and does not irritate my sensitive nose. The cream itself is white, velvety and lightweight in texture. It is gel based hence suitable to oily and acne prone skinned beauties. The gel cream gets easily absorbed without leaving any greasiness or white cast behind. My oily skin gets enough moisture from the cream and yet stays matte for hours. My Experience With Blue Nectar SHUBHR Brightening & Radiance Green Apple Cream It’s quite tedious to choose a cream/moisturizer that works for my skin. I am sure it’s quite difficult even for a brand to formulate a product that can work for all skin types without showing any adverse effect. Like normal-dry skin types need moisture rich formulation while combination-oily skins need lightweight formulation. Ayurveda shows you the right ingredients that can provide enough moisture while being light weight at any skin type. Blue Nectar has done a great job in identifying and using those ingredients which are suitable for all skin type. I am really impressed by the ingredient list of the cream as all herbs are very beneficial for skin care in long run. This one cream can address the daily moisture requirement while up rooting dullness, roughness & tanning. I have been using it over a week now and the very first thing I noticed after using this cream was the plumpness in my skin. I was only relying on Clean n Clear moisturizer for moisturizing needs of my skin even during the harsh winter season. So my skin was silently crying for some moisture that would let it breath too. I liked how it made my skin happy in terms of moisture. It also felt very light weight & supple in texture. I use it once after morning bath daily under my sunscreen. It does not have any sun protection added which is a plus point for me as SPF infused creams generally breaks my skin. There is no white cast left by the cream but I can notice a subtle glow in my complexion which is very desirable and gives a nice confidence to face the world. I have not noticed any change in my dark spots yet, but one week is too less to notice a significant change. I will update you guys in few more weeks if it could lighten up my acne scars. Peas sized amount covers my face while another peas sized amount is enough for my neck. This cream is bit pricey at once but one jar will serve me for a long time. If you believe in the power of Ayurveda, if you believe in using chemical free products, you should try out this brand for the exotic product line it offers. You would admire the authenticity of the products. Specially this radiance cream is something you can not miss. Summer as well as Monsoon seasons, can be really tricky for skin.My skin needs moisture, but I do not want to slather the normal day creams, they just do not feel right. Gel creams are definitely something I look up to during summer & monsoon. Himalaya Herbals Oil Free Radiance Gel Cream is my today’s topic to discuss with you which is alcohol-free & parabene-free. It’s like the best herbal cream for oily & acne prone skin during summer. Himalaya Herbals is among such Indian brands, whose products speak. If you don’t already know, let me tell you, that I liked using Himalaya Herbals Natural Glow Day Cream during last winter, but that cream is not suitable for summer for my oily & acne prone skin as my skin does not need that much moisture now. Glad that Himalaya Herbals came up with the replacement of Natural Glow Day Cream for summer (according to me). Let me walk you through why I liked Himalaya Herbals Oil Free Radiance Gel Cream so much. Himalaya Herbals Oil Free Radiance Gel Cream Enriched with Barbary Fig & Winter Melon, smells heavenly & oil free gel based cream is an ideal day cream for oily & acne prone skin during summer. The cream is free of alcohol & parabenes. It hydrates skin while giving an oil free radiant glow to your skin. The light textured gel based cream absorbs quickly into your skin while giving 3 benefits: Oil Free Look Maintains Moisture Balance Non-Shiny Glow Barbary Fig: It contains poly-saccharides that are known to provide moisture, leaving your skin gently hydrated. Winter Melon: It exhibits anti-oxidant properties that keeps skin healthy, protected & rejuvenated. Price Rs. 250 for 50 gms. Buy here at discounted price. Ingredients Packaging The gel cream comes filled in a glass tub with a plastic mint colored lid over. The outer packaging, i.e. the card box contains all the information about the product like the ingredients, price, benefits etc. Himalaya generally packs it’s products in tube which are more travel friendly. Tub packaging is not really appreciated for hygienic reasons. Also glass tubs are bit prone to accidental breakage(don’t get me started on my shaky hands). Fragrance & Texture The fragrance of this gel cream is enchanting, it’s aquatic & flowery at the same time. I love to smell it again and again. But once I have applied the cream over my face, it goes away quickly. Texture wise, it is gel cream. The lightest texture you can have. It’s feather like light on your skin. It absorbs quickly as water drops. It is smooth enough to glide on your skin effortlessly. My Experience I am on the second tub of this cream. It took me about 1 and half month to use up the first tub. I use it daily once a day after my morning shower. I apply rose water on my face as a toner (going the nature’s way). After 2-3 minutes I dot this cream on my face & massage it going in circular motions. It instantly sinks into my skin. There is no stickiness as I would rather feel with another gel products during summer. It feels like I have applied nothing. But there is increased level of suppleness and glow in my skin. The glow is not that oily thing but is rather a very faint glow, an oil free glow. It keeps my skin matte for 3-4 hours. After 3-4 hours my T-Zone starts to get oily. I splash water on my face & then I am good to go. I have worn this cream under BB Cream & a foundation. It acted as a primer because of it’s finish. The makeup went pretty smooth. I really am going to use it until the next winter shows up. During winter I would switch back to the Natural Glow Cream from Himalaya Herbals unless my wandering eyes find something more interesting to try out. Update: I am using The Ordinary Skin Care for acne prone skin , and I have never seen such clear skin. Summary Himalaya Herbals Oil Free Radiance Gel Cream, is a parabene free, alcohol free, oil-free, day cream for oily & acne prone skin at affordable price. It is widely available & proves to be economical in long term. If you are looking for a gel based day cream, please look no where else.
