I have cried a thousand rivers while asking God- Oily Skin & Dry Hair? Seriously? But God does not seem to bother about the biggest concern of my life… phew!!! So I again gather my senses, wipe out my tears & type Google in my browser. Hundred times, I have searched for ‘Hair Mask for Dry Hair’, L’Oreal Hair Spa deep Nourishing Creambath For Dry Hair always topping the list. Fast forward 2 months, I am here, writing about my experience with L’Oreal Hair Spa deep Nourishing Creambath For Dry Hair. Whenever I have a hair spa at a nearby salon, even they use the same blue tub, so I got it finally. Why I am not using Juicy chemistry hair mask? Juicy Chemistry Argan & Mango Hair Mask was something really worked on my hair amazingly. It really quenched the thirst of my dry hair ends. But, I need almost a tub of the product (50gm). It does not spread that easily and I literally ate it up in the very first application. So in long term, it’s costly. Why I am not using Matirx Biolage Hydrasource Hair Masque? It is wonderful, has been with me for more than an year. Lasts very long. It is affordable & economical. There are no cons, but I just got bored of using it. I wanted to try something new. L’Oreal Hair Spa deep Nourishing Creambath With Water Lily For Dry Hair This hair masque, is enriched with Water Lily to nourish hair deeply leaving them bouncy & shiny. Through massage, it treats and infuses the hair fiber with nutrients & moisture. Ingredients Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chlorihexidine Dihydrochloride, Hexyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool, Cetrimonium Chloride, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Benzyll Alcohol, Nymphrea Alba Flower Extract. Price Rs. 600 for 490g. Buy here. Packaging It comes in a sky blue opaque plastic tub with a chromium lid over it’s mouth. The tub is a convenient packaging for salon use as it is supposed to be used in salons only. Whenever I travel, I transfer some amount of the masque to a travel size container. Fragrance & Texture This is an ultra creamy hair masque. You can feel the creaminess when you touch it for the very first time. The creamy white texture spreads easily on hair strand by strand. It coats hair with it’s moisture rich formula. It has quite pleasant fragrance too, mild & nice. Even my hair smell nice after using this mask for about half an hour. How To Use? I use it in two ways: As A Conditioner – Specially after using a clarifying or anti dandruff shampoo, it becomes inevitable to use a heavy conditioner to manage my dry hair. I follow up with this masque as a conditioner after shampooing once/twice a week. Keep it only for 2-3 minutes or until I am done with my shower. Rinse with cold water & am left with nice smelling, silky & soft hair which are easy to detangle. A Deep Nourishing Hair Mask – The obvious use of the masque is to use it as a hair mask. Whenever I have a professional hair spa at a salon, I have noticed them mixing L’Oreal Hair Oil with this mask before applying it on my hair & scalp. I follow the same. I use Olive/Coconut oil to mix with this hair masque. Apply the mix on my already shampooed hair & scalp thoughtfully. Tie up a bun and wear a shower cap. I keep it like this for 30 minutes to an hour & rinse it finally. It takes a lot of water that way. Efficacy It is damn effective in nourishing my dry hair. I found this hair mask to be less effective than Juicy Chemistry Argan & Mango Butter Hair Masque in terms of providing shine & more effective than Matrix Biolage Hydrasource Hair Mask in terms of hydration. Hair are manageable, soft & shiny. It has never weighed my hair down though despite of being ultra creamy & hydrating. I have been liking the mask very much. My hair are moisturized & behave well when used this masque. It is bit pricey but is going to last me for 3-4 months while used as a conditioner as well as a hair mask. The hair masque contains silicons, hence it creates product build up when used regularly, a clarifying shampoo must be used. Hope you liked the review. Dry hair, drier hair ends. That’s my hair type. Numerous of shampoos & conditioners I have used, with some success. Some were good some were better. Organix Argan Creame Shampoo & Matrix Biolage HydraSource Masque is a nice combo for my hair. But few weeks back when I checked out Juicy Chemistry’s website, I liked a hair mask from their hair care range- Juicy Chemistry Argan & Mango Butter Hair Masque. Since I have already used many Argan Oil based products, I was very sure, that this mask will be good too. I bought it along with few Juicy Chemistry Tea Tree & Charcoal Face Mask. Here is my review on the hair mask. About Juicy Chemistry Argan & Mango Butter Hair Masque Juicy Chemistry is an Indian brand with all natural skin, hair & body care products. I am very impressed by the price range of their products which is very affordable as compared to Forest Essential which also is an Indian brand dealing with natural hair & skin care products. Coming back to the hair mask, the brand claims that this mask will cure the dryness & damage of your hair. Achieve those soft & long tresses with the pre-shampoo home spa from which is enriched with Moroccan Argan Oil high in fatty acids. Argan Oil helps to tame down the frizz & roughness of the hair. Buy here. How To Use Use this mask before shampooing. This is a deep conditioning mask, I won’t advice to put it on shampooed hair as a conditioner. Apply in small quantities to sectioned hair. Massage some on scalp too. Keep on for 30 minutes to an hour before shampooing with a herbal shampoo. Ingredients Packaging The hair pack comes in a transparent tub with a screw-in lid over. The pack contains the ingredients, & other information. Color, Texture & Smell The color of the hair mask depicts of Mango pulp. It also smells more of lemons to my surprise while I was expecting to smell it more like mango pulp. Texture wise the hair mask is like a heavy & thick hair oil. The oil seem to be little separated from the rest of the mask. My Experience I am really confused about my views on this hair masque. I had a hard time in getting this hair mask out of my hair, while the results of the mask were good. Before I applied this hair mask, my hair were feeling really rough & looking dull. They were in the right phase of dullness, to see the result of this hair mask. I took this hair mask in small quantities and applied it from tip to end on sectioned hair. I consumed the whole tub in one go, since I did not realize the amount of oil I was putting on to my hair back then. I kept it on my hair for about 2 hours, being greedy. I washed my hair with Japakusum Shampoo since the shampoo is herbal. The shampoo was lathering much but, it could not get rid of the oil out of my hair. I washed my hair again & again. I think I washed my hair 4 times in a row the same day to get rid of the every single trace of the hair mask from my hair. I promised not to put this hair mask on my hair again. Aftereffects were marvelous, my hair was feeling way too beautiful than a normal hair wash. They were glossier, straighter & frizz free. All the hard work finally paid off. My hair felt very smooth & the effect stayed until next wash. Likes It is an all natural ingredient hair mask. No chemicals/parabenes. Contains Argan Oil, Mango Butter & Shea Butter as the main ingredients. Leaves hair very soft, shiny & hydrated. Affordable. Dislikes Too difficult to get the hair mask out of hair. Need to use a strong shampoo to get rid of the oil traces. The smell of the mask is very strong. Summary: 4/5 I am dicey about using Juicy Chemistry Argan & Mango Butter Hair Masque again on my hair again. The aftereffects of the hair mask are too good to ignore this all natural & affordable hair mask but it is quite hard work to get rid of the hair mask out of the hair.
