Good Morning Girls. Aroma Magic is one of the brands that I have complete faith in. Most of the products from Aroma Magic have fared really well on me. It has targeted lines for every skin and hair concern. The brand is really proud to be of all the natural ingredients it uses, also it does not believe in adding petrochemicals, parabenes or preservatives. This fact makes it more exotic to the people who like to use natural products. I am going to talk about a moisturizing lotion from Aroma Magic today which is very effective in healing dryness without making skin oily. This is mainly formulated with Almonds. It also contains SPF 15, which is great if you are not going out. About Aroma Magic Almond Moisturizing Lotion Enriched with the goodness of Almonds, this is a moisturizing lotion which is free of preservatives, artificial colours & fragrance. It also contain SPF 15, hence it moisturizes, protects and rejuvenates skin at same time. It also contains Almond fruit and lotus leaf heals the skin imparting natural glow. While Wheatgerm & Jojoba Oil with Mango Seed Butter, repair & sooth dry & damaged skin. It also contains Patchouli, Geranium & Rose Essentials Oil to revive the skin leaving it lustrous and healthy. Price Rs. 290 for 200ml. Buy here. Ingredients Packaging The lotion comes in a transparent plastic bottle with transparent flip top cap which can open by unscrewing too. The packaging contains all the information about the product including the ingredients. Colour, Texture & Smell This is a white coloured lightweight lotion which absorbs fast without leaving anything behind, no greasiness or oiliness. It has a powdery smell depicting of Almonds for the obvious reason. I am not much fan of the smell since it is little strong for my sensitive nose. My Experience I like to experiment with products other wise I get bored of using the same product all year long. I just can’t deny this fact that sometimes due to this habit of mine, I face skin eruptions. So I always try to choose lightweight products so that they do not clog my pores. Almonds are supposed to be heavy in moisturisation so I was bit skeptical about using this lotion. To my surprise, the lotion is lightweight hence it does not take much efforts to sink into my skin & my skin is moisturized the very moment. Since it is lightweight lotion, there is no oily residue left behind. Skin is revived and feels calm and soft. A pea size amount is required to moisturise my face and neck, the product is going to last very long. Also SPF 15 is good enough to provide sun protection if I stay indoor while won’t be sufficient if I step out. Likes Lightweight moisturiser. Contains goodness of Almonds, Jojoba Oil, Wheatgerm & many other essential oils. Absorbs fast without leaving any residue behind. Moisturises skin and provides healthy glow. Contains SPF 15. Affordable & economical. Free of parabenes, artifical fragrance & colours. Dislikes The lotion has a strong smell of Almonds which I personally do not like. Summary : 4.5 It is an affordable and economical lightweight moisturiser to provide intense moisture to skin without any feeling heavy on skin. It is suitable for all sin types. It is free of petrochemicals, artifical fragrance & colours. Hi girls. I was kind of busy today, so could not post. Also I was thinking about doing some fun post but nothing materialised. So I postponed it. I was postponing a review from quite a time, so am going ahead with the review now. Maybelline White Superfresh Compact, I got 2-3 months back. Lakmé Perfect Radiance Intense Whitening Compact is a permanent resident in my vanity, I still got the Maybelline one, to try it out and am really excited to share the review because, it’s wonderful. Maybelline White Superfresh 12HR Whitening Perfecting Compact – Shell Perlite: Natural mineral that lightens complexion Maybelline New York White Super Fresh Compact absorbs sweat and oil and keeps skin fresh for 12 Hrs!! Light fragrance Superior puff and packaging Price Available at Rs. 150. Buy at discount from Amazon.in Shades Pearl – Contains Pink tone, will suit fair skin tones. Shell- Contains Yellow undertones, suitable for medium skin tones. Coral- Suitable for Dark complexion. I got Shell, which is suitable for wheatish skin tones. Texture & Smell This is a very fine powdered compact, which gives very nice and even finish. The smell is almost non existent. Packaging Comes in a white sleek round container with a mirror and sponge applicator. My Skin Type I have oily, acne prone & sensitive skin. My Experience Foundations are not an everyday thing until your job demands it. a compact is an easy way to get some coverage, even tone without any heavy feeling. But not every compact can give a natural finish. I hate the cakey looks that most of the compacts give. But Maybelline Super Fresh Compact is different. It does not give cakey look at all. The shade, Shell is a perfect match for my skin tone, maybe that’s why it just gets invisible on my skin while giving a smooth and natural finish. The texture is super fine, so it goes on skin very smoothely. even though I have oily skin, I need to moisturise my skin well when I put this on. Otherwise sometimes, I see some dry patches on my skin. It controls oil for 2-3 hours, which is not very impressive, I need to touch up for freshness. It does brighten my face, which is a plus point of this compact. The brightening effect is not whitening, but very natural radiance. It just feels like my own skin is much more clear and vibrant. While I never had such an experience with Lakme Perfect Radiance or Maybelline Clearglow All In One Fairness Compact. It evens out skin tone but there but it does not provide much coverage. It cannot totally replace foundation since I have acne scars on my face. Likes Super Fine texture. Gives natural finish. Evens out skin tone. Face looks bright and fresh whole day long. Does not look cakey even if applied 2-3 times for touch ups. Does not break out my skin. Can be used as a setting powder. Very affordable Easily Available. Travel friendly packaging. Comes with a mirror. This perticular shade is a very close to my skin tone. Dislikes Very limited shades. Sometimes it gives me dry patches. Don’t expect much coverage out of it. Summary : 4/5 It is a very affordable, fine textured compact which gives natural finish and brightens complexion. Suitable for all skin types, just don’t forget to wear a moisturiser before using it.
