Hello Ladies, all set with your morning cup of coffee? I am a teaholic by the way. My morning just can’t take off until I have a nice cup of tea. That is the most relaxing part of my day. Coming back to our beeswax, recently I recovered from a very bad breakout due to La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo (another Love-hate story), I was looking for something to help me with the post acne scars. I recently finished off Za Perfect Solution Youth Whitening Serum. My perfect serum is which addresses my dark spots + ageing skin without breaking me out. This sounds pretty simple, and most of the cosmetics companies sell their products claiming the same. I have, too, came across so many products, in past, that seemed like my going-to-be-HG products. But soon I found them in my never-ever-use-again trash bin , like L’oreal Paris Youth Code Youth Booster Serum & Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 Anti-Ageing Day Cream to name the biggest duds. From my experience, I knew, Za can’t help me (with dark spots). I was intentionally looking for a Vitamin C serum, because of its ability to erase dark spots faster and provide anti-aging benefits to the skin. Somehow, I stumbled upon O3+ Agelock Vitamin C booster Serum via an online shopping website. I went through a few reviews online as I always do. It showed some potential and I bought it. O3+ Claims: O3+ Agelock Vitamin C serum helps in brightening & whitening the skin while unifying the skin tone and enhancing the glow. Price: Priced at Rs. 1350 for 30 ml. But I bought it for Rs. 1199 at a discounted price from Jabong.com. Ingredients: Aqua, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (orange) Peel Extract, Lactic Acid, Sodium PCA, Aloe Bardadensis Leaf Extract. Texture, Colour & Smell: Its consistency is watery and clear. And smell is pretty mild not irritating. Packaging: Comes in a see through orange-colored glass bottle with a dropper. How to Use: Apply tiny dots of serum on your face and once it penetrates in the skin, blend it lightly and quickly all over. What I do is I clean my face with a cleanser, then apply the serum on my face & neck blending it simultaneously. Availability: Available at online as well as offline stores. My Skin type: Oily, Acne Prone & Sensitive My experience with O3+ Agelock Vitamin C Serum: It has been about 20 days since I started using it. I use it during night because anti ageing products are supposed to be used during night only. The main ingredient is Vitamin C which can make your skin photosensitive. You must use a sun block during the day especially if you are using any anti-ageing product. Coming back to the product, it comes with a dropper so that you don’t have to dip your fingers into the product to take out the product. Initially, I applied the whole dropper, and within 2 days I got rashes at several places on my face. I was using too much. I took a break for like 2 days, and then started applying the serum only half the dropper on face and then rest on my neck. Continuing the same routine, it’s giving me results. Talking about the results, my recent acne scars has faded to about 50% within 15 days, which nothing has ever achieved for me ever. My skin has got little brightening effect too. And all this without getting any breakouts. Touch wood. Vitamin C is highly volatile in nature and whenever it comes in direct contact with air/sunlight, its effectiveness is ruined. This serum contains passive ascorbic acid, which gets activated only once it’s rubbed into the skin. Hence all the potency is directly delivered to your skin. I quite liked this innovative idea. Likes: Highly effective in reducing acne scars. Visible result within 2 weeks. Gets absorbed quickly without leaving any stickiness. No breakouts attributed by the serum.Little quantity required, hence lasts longer than other serums of same quantity. Delivers anti-ageing benefits. Suitable for all skin types. Hygienic Packaging. Dislikes: Price is little on higher side. Need to use sun protection since vitamin c can make your skin photosensitive. Need to be careful with the glass bottle. Word Of Caution: Start using small quantity of the product, otherwise, your skin may get rashes. Rating: 5/5 ( don’t care about the price when it delivers, what it claims to). Final Words: Oily skinned (+ acne prone) beauties, grab your bottle now. This serum works to lighten dark spots and pigmentation. Gives supple and soft skin.

Hi girls, today I will be reviewing Za Perfect Solution Youth Whitening Solution, which I bought because of its claims of being anti dark spots + anti-wrinkle. In the past, I have used Za True White Emulsion, which I quite liked. “Anti dark spots”, this is the no. 1 tag line which makes me buy skin care products. What can you expect from an acne-laden girl? So let’s find out, how it fared on me. Company Claims: Anti Dark spots + Anti wrinkle (As simple as it can get) Ingredients: Water, Alcohol, Diphenylsiloxy Phenyl, Trimethicone, Glycerin, Peg-20, Potassium Methoxysalicylate, Isostearic Acid, Triethylhexanoin, Phenoxyethanol, Trehalose, Aminomethyl Propanediol, Lauryl Betaine, Carbomer, Tocopheryl Acetate, Zanthan Gum, Fragrance, Acrylates /C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate, Crosspolymer, Disodium Edta, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Retinyl Palmitate, Prunus Armeniaca (apricot) Juice, Zea Mays (corn) Oil, Limonene, Magnesium Chloride, Hexyl Cinnamal, Calcium Chloride, Sodium Hyaluronate, Citrus Junos Seed Extract, BHT, Sodium Benzoate, Soluble Collagen, Prunus Persica (peach), Kernel Extract Price: Rs. 1299 for 30 ml Texture, Color & Smell: It is a milky white, water based serum having very mild and sweet smell. Packaging: It comes in a very attractive white opaque bottle with pump and pink cap. How to use: Apply in the morning and evening after toner and before moisturizer. Availability: Its available easily online and offline at Za counters. My experience with Za Perfect Solution Youth Whitening Serum: I love the beautiful consistency and feel, it has. I need one pump of the product for my face and neck. My oily skin absorbs it very beautiful with little blending, and it stays moisturised. After 2-3 hours my skin feels oily. And then I just wash my face with plain water. About the effect it has on my skin, it brightens the skin little bit, but that’s all. Except the moisturization part, it does not do anything extra while Za True White Emulsion was more reliable in the brightening department. The dark spots claim could not stand true for me. I can’t validate the anti-ageing claim either as I don’t have any visible signs of ageing yet. One bottle runs for about 30-35 days even when used twice a day. Since it has opaque packaging, I can’t tell how much product is left until I unscrew the pump and see directly into bottle bottle. Likes: Utterly smooth texture. Quickly blends into the skin. Will suit all skin types. Heavy duty moisturization without giving the heavy feeling Did not break me out Pump packaging Travel Friendly Little quantity required for each application Dislikes: Pricey for 30 ml (being just a moisturiser) Could not deliver anti dark spot claim to me Rating: 3/5 Final Word: I would buy Clean n Clear Oil Free Moisturizer for the moisturization needs of my skin rather than throwing away about 1200 bucks for this serum since it does not deliver any other claim. Also I have found amazing serum for my type of skin in O3+ Agelock Vitamin C Serum. Have you used this serum? Were you planning to buy it?
