I was out of the station for some time and as I reached home in Delhi today, I was greeted with lots of packages containing goodies. Among the packages were also, Fab Bag & Glamego. This post is going to be about Glamego August 2017 Ingredient Magic. GlamEgo is currently one of the most sought after beauty box right now. It gives 4-5 products out of which 2-3 are full-sized while others are decently sized so that you can get nice use out of the products to decide your take. So let’s jump over to the details of the August subscription of GlamEgo. GlamEgo box can be subscribed from its official website starting from 299 only for one month. You can subscribe for 3/6/12 months in one go which subsequently reduces the cost per box. GlamEgo August 2017 – Ingredient Magic Ingredient Magic is the theme of the current box. GlamEgo presents 4 products that are based on Charcoal, Brahmi & Amla, Vanilla & Magnolia. The products seem to be handpicked. I am really excited to try out the brands, most of which promise to be chemical-free & paraben-free. Charcoal Face Pack of Neemli (Rs. 550) Brahmi & Amla Hair Cleanser of BioBloom ( Rs. 399) Face Cream Deluxe Size Of The Nature’s Co (Rs. 550) BB Cream Of Inveda (Rs. 150) Neemli Activated Charcoal Face Mask I have already use Neemli Coffee Body Wrap & Neemli Green Tea Lip Scrub, and I am a fan of this brand. I am really excited to try out another product from the brand which happens to be a Charcoal face mask. Really cool. I shall try it very soon and will let you know my experience with the same. Update: I used this face pack and it turned out to be an okay product. It did not do anything miraculous to my skin. I feel activated charcoal is not something my skin likes. I am more of a sandalwood powder person. BioBloom Brahmi & Amla Hair Cleanser I have used BioBloom Lavender Hand Cream, which I found lightweight & smelling nice. BioBloom Brahmi & Amla Hair Cleanser is paraben-free & sulfate-free. Nice no? Another great product in the box. Update: I used this hair cleanser once and then I could not use it ever again. Because it made my already-dry hair drier. So it’s lying in my closet unused. The Nature’s Co Face Cream Deluxe Size I have received many such creams form TNC but I never use them. I am always afraid they might break out my acne-prone skin. I might keep aside for colder days. Not really looking forward to using it right away. This is a deluxe-sized product, which will give many uses. Update: I tried using this cream, but as I opened it, a heavy and sweet smell made me uncomfortable. I closed the lid and stacked it with Bio Bloom hair cleanser. It’s heavily scented for no reason. I ignored the flimsy packaging, but the scent really put me off. Its texture is thick for my oily skin. Dry skin people might like it. Inveda 8 in 1 BB Cream SPF 20 Yesterday only, I was ogling on this BB Cream from Inveda in a store in Gurgaon, because my current CC cream from Lakme, is almost over. I was really wanting to try out something. Glad I did not purchase that yesterday. Actually I was not much impressed by the shade selection in the BB Cream. There is only one shade. A limited shade selection is such a letdown. By the way, this is a paraben-free BB cream. Also, if you look at the only shade available, it’s very odd. It looks pinkish-greyish. My wheatish skin would never agree with it. So another waste product for me. These were the products inside my GlamEgo box. Sadly, none of the products is exciting for me. This box is all waste of money for me. Maybe my hopes are too high to meet these beauty boxes. Just saying. Have you received your GlamEgo box yet? What you got this time? After reviewing Citra Pimple Free Green Tea Face Wash I was getting many requests to review the counterpart face cream also. So here I am, writing about Citra Spot Less Fair Face Cream. I got the face wash and cream duo together from a nearby supermarket. What attracted me to the brand? The packaging & the main ingredient – Japanese Green Tea. Plus the brand claims to organic. I use the cream daily after shower in the morning. It’s been like two weeks and I have almost hit the bottom of the tube. It’s time I really conclude my experience and make a decision to buy it again or not. Citra Spot Less Fair Face Cream With Japanese Green Tea Citra Naturals has been exploring Asia for about 3 decades to discover natural ingredients to help women achieve healthy & spot less skin. Citra Spot Less Fair Face Cream, contains skin lightening vitamin and anti oxidant Japanese green tea to lighten dark spots, reduce blemishes and remove dullness. Ingredients Packaging The face cream comes packaged in the same packaging as the face wash. The face cream also consists of an efficient pump at it’s mouth. Product details can be found on the tube as well as on the outer package. Fragrance & Texture The fragrance of the cream is very pleasant, floral and soothing. I like to smell it again and again. The texture of the cream is really light weight and it just absorbs as soon as I apply it. When I used it for the first time, I was really amazed to see that a cream could vanish into skin so quickly. The creams sinks into skin leaving skin matte. My Experience I have oily, acne prone & sensitive skin. It demands oil free moisture and matte look. Citra face cream really is light weight and sinks into skin within seconds leaving matte finish behind. My skin stays oil free for next 3-4 hours during these monsoon days when my skin turns oily with one hour. So it undoubtedly is a great day cream for oily skin. It gives skin a bright look. Not a white cast but a bright complexion. Though I did not notice much difference in the appearance of my acne scars. But I like how soft my skin feels. It gives just the right amount of moisture to my skin. My skin does not require any other moisturizer. I wish I had gotten this cream few months back when I was looking for a nice day cream. This is one affordable day cream which sans sunscreen, which could be a drawback for few girls. But I like to use SPF free day creams otherwise my skin gets all bumpy. Citra Spot Less Fair Face Cream is very affordable and economical. It has quick absorbing formula, gives matte finish and don’t get me started with the fragrance part. I feel the packaging too is very attractive and sturdy. It does not fade away scars magically but surely gives nice bright look for everyday. How did you like this cream? Sounds good? Za True White Day Cream with SPF 20 PA++ : Review

Hi, I am going to write about the white girl in town, Za True White Day Cream. Za is from the house of Shiseido Japan which is an old and reputed brand in skincare and makeup. This particular line also comprises of an emulsion and night cream which I quite liked. It is another cream claiming to whiten the skin. But today’s woman of Internet era is not so ignorant. We all know skin color can’t be changed (read as whiten) unless we go through some surgical procedures or harsh chemical routine. Then why do we buy such creams labelled as ‘whitening’. We just wish to get rid of the un-even skin tone or age spots or dark spots due to zits. That’s all we want from a whitening cream to give us an even toned glowing skin. Highlights of ZA True White Day Cream SPF 20 PA++ Whitening Effect with 4MSK Vitamin C SPF ingredients White Lily Extract Price This is a costly affair as it sells at Rs. 999 for 40 grams. Packaging It comes in a transparent cover which provides all the product information like how to use, main ingredients, price, weight etc. I lost its outer cover so I don’t have its pictures. The cream comes in a white plastic jar with a pretty shape. The jar is quite sturdy and leak proof. Texture, Colour & Smell The color of the cream is milky white. The texture of the cream is velvety soft. It is lightweight and hence absorbs pretty fast. I am in love and hate relationship with the smell of this cream. When I first apply the cream it smells like alcohol. But after few seconds there comes a mild floral smell which I adore. My Experience with ZA True White Day Cream I bought this cream especially because everyone was raving about it. Also it claims to have vitamin C which is a superb ingredient for a skin care product. My skin concern is mainly the dark spots that I get due to the occasional zits. The cream also has SPF 20 in it hence no need for a separate sunscreen unless you are going out in the sun. I used this cream for about four weeks regularly after my bath in the morning. It absorbs really fast and gives little sheen to the skin initially, but if you touch your face, it feels matte. Wow. Also it does not make my skin greasy after few hours as other matte creams I have tried. With regular use it evens out the skin tone which is quite desirable. Coming to the dark spots, I don’t find remarkable difference. The spots are still there just little bit lighter. Guess spot correcting needs more time. This cream provides the right amount of hydration to my oily skin. I don’t need another moisturiser. Oh yes, the product has some downfall too. The cream is matte and non greasy but it makes me sweat during summers. Oh God, why? I thought I found the perfect day cream but I guess, I will have to wait. So my hunt for an I-won’t-make-your-face-sweaty day cream starts again…phew!! Likes Lightweight and non greasy yet hydrating. No acne breakout or skin allergy. Nice floral smell (hope the top note of alcohol are just with my piece). Sturdy packaging hence travel friendly. Has the goodness of vitamin C which helps in skincare brightening. Has SPF 20 which is sufficient for indoor stay. Gives nice glow to the skin. Brightens and evens out skin tone with regular use. Suitable for all skin types. Dislikes Price of-course. Though it will last about 2 months, I find the price little bit on higher side My face sweats after wearing this cream. A big turn off. Summary : 4/5 This is a nice day cream if face sweating is ignored which is hard and I hope it’s just my skin. Also one needs to be regular with this cream to maintain the effects.
