Hey Girls, Want to try out some new lip butter this winter? I recently got my hands on Fab India Gentle & Soothing Lip Butter in Dew Kiwi. How I came across this cute little pot of kiwi smoothie? I just wanted to purchase Fab India Clove Acne Control Cream They have changed the packaging beautifully. My sister who was accompanying me on the stroll, asked if they had any lip balm, and the SA at FabIndia showed some cute little pots of lip butter in different flavors. She loved Plum, while I chose Kiwi. Along with lip butters, I also got Fabindia Tea Tree Toner which is another new launch from Fab India. In this post, I shall tell you about this newly launched lip butter from Fabindia. FabIndia Gentle & Soothing Lip Butter Dew Kiwi FabIndia introduces lip butter which are soothing and gentle on lips. The lip butter are suitable for all skin types (of lips). The lip butter are natural and spreads easily. These are mild and does not irritate sensitive skin. ❤Natural ❤Mild ❤Smooth ❤Affordable Price & Availability These lip balms(butter) are priced at Rs. 150 for 5gm. But are available for Rs. 138 at FabIndia’s Online Store. Packaging FabIndia has totally stepped up and changed the packaging of all of it’s products. This new packaging is really appealing. I wanted to pick a lot of product just because the packaging was screaming pick-me-up. Glad my sister was there to bring-me-back to reality. FabIndia Lip Butter are packed in small plastic pots with a beautiful metallic lid over it. The lid has a white round label where the name of the lip butter is mentioned. I lost the outer packaging of the lip butter which had more detailed information regarding the product. Flavors of Fab India Gentle & Soothing Lip Butter Plum 2. Vanilla 3. Dew Kiwi Fragrance & Texture Fragrance wise the lip butter smells of crushed kiwi. It’s quite fresh but mild fragrance. You would not notice it after application. Texture wise, the lip butter is very smooth and lightweight. It is kiwi green colored lip butter. There is no weird after taste, which is a relief. My Experience The lip butter is almost sheer. You don’t notice any color after wearing it. At the same time it is moisturizing and healing. It soothes dry an chapped lips. It protects them from further damage. But reapplication is required every few hours. The lightweight texture is plus because any other lip product could be worn over the lip balm very easily without getting any patchiness. I like the mild fragrance that this lip butter offers, because I like kiwis. The lip butter is natural as claimed by the brand and affordable but are not yet easily available though. You can get them from Fabindia store only. The lip balm does not have any SPF though, which might be a worry for some girls who like to wear SPF infused lip balms. I found this lip butter to be average. If you have severe dry lips, you will need to re apply the lip butter every few hours. FabIndia Gentle & Soothing Lip Butter, is a flavored range comprising of natural ingredients. The lip butter is lightweight and almost sheer with mild fragrance. The lip butter performs good if you do not have severely dry lips otherwise you will need to reapply it every few hours. It is affordable too. This was my review of the product, it’s not a must have but if you a sucker of cute packaging, I am sure, you won’t miss it picking it during your next trip to FabIndia. Fabindia Clove Acne Control Cream : Review

You know what I found in my stash hidden deep at the back? Fabindia Clove Acne Control Cream. Don’t remember when I lost it. This is one of my most loved product from Fabindia. It works like a charm every single time. Clove is actually great in healing acne. I am always in look out for clove oil based products. Fabindia Clove Acne Control Cream is the best of them. Lately I have been feeling that faceclin gel has kind of given up on me, after all it’s a topical form of antibiotic. So I am back to using more herbal acne control products. Fabindia is an old flame in that department. Let’s talk about it in detail. About Fabindia Clove Acne Control Cream This is a clove oil based cream with traces of tea tree oil, such an amazing formulation. It’s texture is like a whipped cream hence goes very light on skin and is suitable for all type of skins. The cream is best advised to be used on oily and acne prone skin. This cream not only works on acne but improves skin texture too. Price Rs. 190 for 50ml. Most of the times it is out of stock online as well as offline. Ingredients Packaging It comes in a tub packaging. The tub is off white colored transparent plastic tub with light & dark green detailing on it. The packaging contains all the information about the product. Tub packaging is mostly unhygienic unless you use a spoon or spatula to scoop out the product. Earlier, I have felt the packaging was not sturdy enough but Fabindia seems to have the quality of the tub. It won’t break off easily. Great News : I found a Face Wash that controls Acne permanently 🙂 Color, Texture & Smell It is an off white colored whipped cream And I mean it’s totally whipped. I feel like am applying some thing watery on my face. There is no stickiness or oiliness in the texture. It goes smoothly on my skin. Since it stings due to the presence of clove oil and tea tree oil, I only spot treat my blemishes with this. It smells mostly of Clove Oil only. The smell is kind of pleasant and not pungent entirely. My Experience I have been using it for more than 5-6 years now- on and off. I would use it regularly and after my skin returns to normal, I toss it somewhere in my stash. Since last year I was using Faceclin Gel, which was working without giving a burning sensation to skin. But these days, faceclin is behaving nasty and hardly able to treat my hormonal breakouts. I have been using Fabindia acne control cream from last week again. And it is showing it’s magic on my hormonal & very recent breakout. Fabindia advises to use it twice daily as a skin cream, but it gives burning sensation to my skin even after using it for so many years, hence I use it on my spots only. It vanishes zits in a day or two, and fades scars too, if used early to treat the zits. I also feel it helps to get a better skin texture, with continuous usage in terms of minimized pore appearance. There is no stickiness or oily residue. The whipped cream texture gives matte finish to the skin. The only downside of using this cream is the stinging part, which also gives my skin some redness. The redness subsidies with in an hour or so. That’s why I use it only during night. Likes Contains Clove Oil & Tea Tree Oil, Helps to control acne if used regularly. Fades scars to great extent. Gives smooth textured skin. Nice cooling smell. Affordable. Dislikes Stings like hell. Even after using it for more than 5 years, my skin feels the same sting. Most of the times, it is out of stock, weather I try online or offline. Summary : 4.5 In terms of effectiveness, I would give it a 5. It works like a charm every single time. It contains Clove Oil & Tea Tree Oil as it’s main ingredients which are highly effective in treating acne. The cream also improves skin texture with continuous usage while fading scars. The cream is very affordable & economical. Only if you could only bear the sting…. I really regret sometimes, my habit of hoarding & forgetting stuff.
