Fab Bag December 2017 Review : Blend The Beauty

Fab Bag December 2017, comes with a theme Blend The Beauty. Well, makeup should be blended no doubt, not sure what it means to blend the beauty. However I have no complaints about the products I got in the box because they are all fabulous. Honestly it’s a relief that Fab Bag chose to skip Kronokare this time. I was kind of bored of receiving numerous items from this same brand every month. I am glad to see a fresh brand and promising brand in the bag. Let’s jump ahead onto the Fab Bag December edition and it’s products for more details. So you can decide if you should go for this month’s bag or not. If you are new to Fab Bag. Let me brief you with the subscription. Fab Bag is a vintage subscription beauty bag. It kind of introduced the concept of subscription box in India few years back. You can subscribe for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months & 12 months in one go. The subscription cost subsequently decreases as you go for a longer subscription. You receive a beautiful clutch with every subscription inside which there are 4-5 products- a mix of sample & full sized products. The bag itself is a marron colored mettalic clutch. It’s small but sure can handle my mobile phone and some money along with a lipstick and compact. I think, it’s a decent clutch to be carried for evening outs. Quality wise, it could be improved though. I got 5 products in my fab bag, out of which 3 are full sized. The star product of the bag according to me is SUGAR Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quad in Skyfall. This is a new launch from Sugar. One prime reason to subscribe for Fab Bag is the reason that I can get my hands on Sugar’s new launched every month. I think it’s true for most of us. SUGAR Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quad in Skyfall (Full Size : Rs. 599/-) Alanna Desiccated Coconut and Saffron Skin Brightening Scrub (Rs. 340 for 20gms.) Bella Voste Premium Nail Enamel (Full Size : Rs. 249) Blossom Khochhar Aroma Magic Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Cream (Rs. 26 for 10gms) Bliscent Peppermint Foot Soak (Full Size : Rs. 200) SUGAR Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quad – Skyfall Sugar launched eyeshadow quad in 18 variants. That’s huge. Every thing Sugar does is huge, I must say. I tested the pigments of the squad I received in SkyFall. The pigments are fine powders with nice intensity which can be built upon. I think the price of the squad is also alright. I am next eyeing the eyeshadow palettes that Sugar has launched. Wish Fab Bag ships them next (can’t get enough of Sugar) Skyfall contains 4 colors, a neutral, a plum, a blue & a purple shade. Purple is bit shimmery and looks very nice, while all other shades are matte in finish. I think the palette is quite wearable for the versatility it offers. Sadly there is no mirror attached to the squad, though a dual ended sponge applicator is provided. Alanna Desiccated Coconut and Saffron Skin Brightening Scrub This is a new brand. I am sure most of you too might not have heard about it. I received a body scrub containing Coconut & Saffron. it smells quite fresh. Promises of being pure. I like the packaging also. It’s classy. I would try it soon. Would love to explore what else the brand has to offer…!! Bella Voste Premium Nail Lacquer – 13 Perfect Pick I think it’s a perfect pick for the current season. Bella Voste Premium Nail Lacquer is a metallic Mint Green Shade. It looks very glamours on nails. The intensity of the nail lacquer is nice. It gives opaque finish in just one swipe. The brush of the nail lacquer is decently sized and gives perfect application. The color though survives only if you stay away from heavy duty household chores. Otherwise it fades from the top of the nails. Blossom Khochhar Aroma Magic Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Cream Aroma Magic is quite a trusted brand. It works most of the times for me. I received Aroma Magic Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Cream in the December edition of fab bag. It smells a mix of cocoa butter & vanilla. The body creams absorbs quite fast and is moisturizing at the same time. I think this is a nice option for winters. Bliscent Peppermint Foot Soak Foot Soaks are quite refreshing & relaxing. Specially during winter, a warm foot soak can really make you sleep better at night as I have tested. I have never tried Bliscent products before but have seen bloggers raving about it’s products. I am sure, the foot soak must be a quality product. I really like the color of the foot soak. Must try this product soon. I find this month’s Fab Bag did quite decent in terms of it’s offerings. One can surely might want to get this bag since you are getting Sugar eyeshadow squad worth 599, which covers the bag’s cost beautifully. Fab Bag August 2017 – The Flawless & Fierce : Review

Today I received my Fab Bag August subscription with a theme – The Flawless & Fierce. The star of this month is the bag itself for me. I also received a bright shade of red lipstick, but still, the bag is definitely the charm of August subscription. The bag received very late though. I always receive my fab bag in the very first week of every month, but this time, I received it in the 4th week. I actually shot an email to the Fab Bag people yesterday. Fab Bag August 2017 – The Flawless & Fierce This month’s bag is a beautiful black leather clutch. The quality of the bag is great. Can be used for casual outings. I wish it had a sling attached to it. You can book your bag from the official website of Fab Bag. What I got in my August Fab Bag? I got 4 products from different brands, including a lipstick, a hair mist, a face – body wrap and a sheet mask. Bella Voste Premium Lipstick – Warm Tan (Rs. 449) MOND’SUB Pearl Revitalizing & Brightening 3D Hanging Ears Neck & Facial Mask (Rs. 200) Neemli Naturals Four Clay Face & Body Wrap (Rs. 550 for 75gm) Natural Bath & Body Thank God It’s Friday! Hair Mist (Rs. 525 for 100ml) Now let me walk you through the products in detail: Bella Voste Premium Lipstick – Warm Tan Fab Bag brings really unknown makeup brands to limelight since the beginning. I have tried numerous lipsticks via Fab Bag, which I would never hear of otherwise. Bella Voste is a new brand to me but upon googling about it, I found that, it’s all over the shopping websites. It looks quite an affordable brand comprising of lipsticks, liners & nail paints. The lipstick I got in Warm Tan is a bright red shade. The lipstick texture is quite creamy & moisturizing. A detailed review will be up soon with more details and swatches. MOND’SUB Pearl Revitalizing & Brightening 3D Hanging Ears Neck & Facial Mask I got the same mask in my July GlamEgo bag too. I have not used it yet, I totally forgot about this sheet mask. Beauty bloggers are raving about this sheet mask while I still need to test it on my skin. I hope not to forget the masks to try out before they really expire while sitting in my closet. Neemli Naturals Four Clay Face Mask & Body Wrap I am a huge fan of Neemli Naturals and really admire the basic & natural ingredients they put into their products. I really admire their Coffee body wrap & Green tea lip scrub. I also have been using Charcoal face mask. I hope this Four Clay Face Mask product too impresses me. I like the quantity of the product given. It’s going to give many uses. Also the zip lock packaging is quite convenient to use. Natural Bath & Body Thank God It’s Friday! Hair Mist It is going to be my first hair mist. I have never used any hair mist. I don’t know what to expect out of it. It smells nice, sweet yet mild. The product size is good. I don’t think a hair mist is a must have product, but let’s see if this hair mist from Natural Bath & Body can change my opinion. This was my August Fab Bag. Talking about the theme, I am trying to relate the products to the theme. The bag is really charming which has a fierce look. Products are good, as in size and in usefulness. For the first time, there is no sample, and all are like full sized products from Fab Bag. Out of the 4 products , two are face masks, one is makeup and the last one is a hair care product. Hope the products can give a flawless look. The total of the products comes near about 1724 INR, sounds terrific? Let me know if what you think of the bag? Fab Bag June 2017 – The Boho Chic : Review

Hi, The month started with a nice surprise. I got my June Fab Bag – The Boho Chic, on the very first day of the month. I was delighted to find it at my door step so early. I just can’t help but put the contents of the bag in front of you guys. With this bag my 6 months subscription of Fab Bag ends. Next month, I will be renewing it for another few months. I am also thinking to try Glamego and other beauty box in town, there are plenty actually. There are jewelry boxes, lifestyle boxes, beauty+food boxes and what not. So why not explore them all. What say? I will let you know in few days. Coming back to my fab bag of June 2017, It contains only 4 products and a 10% off renew coupon. The products look good though. The bag itself is made of Jute & defines the Boho style too. This month’s bag is quite opposite to the blingy & quirky bags of the past months. It’s simple & elegant. The products too are quite basic but high quality. Johara Creme Rich Lip Color – Poppy Coral (Full Size Rs. 395/-) SUGAR Twist And Shout FadeProof Kajal – Black Velvet (Full Size : Rs. 399/-) Biobloom- Foot Cream (Eucalyptus)(Rs. 335/- for 50gm) APS Cosmetofood: Activated OrganicSPring Water (Rs. 270 – for 50ml) The product list contains 2 full sized products while 2 decent sized products. All the products look quite promising and very usable during the summer. Johara Creme Rich Lip Color – Poppy Coral Fab Bag generally give a product of your choice. It sends you a link to choose your item of your choice. Genrally it’sm akeup. This time too, I got to choose Johara lipstick shade, & I chose Poppy Coral, which looks very pretty in the shell. I have not tried it yet, but, I will be coming out with it’s swatches very soon as it looks very tempting. Also Read : Johara Pro Shine Nail Color in Toffee Brown SUGAR Twist And Shout FadeProof Kajal – Black Velvet I have already used SUGAR Twist And Shout FadeProof Kajal in Blue shade, which was a decent kajal. Glad that I also got the black version of this kajal. Biobloom- Foot Cream with Eucalyptus I am getting a lot of foot products in beauty subscription boxes, & I do not ever use them. I just give them away. But this time, I am definetly going to use this foot cream from Biobloom, because it contains Eucalyptus which has a soothing aroma. APS Cosmetofood: Activated Organic Spring Water I am using Avene Thermal Spring Water (pending for review), which is good, but little costly. I will be happy to try out APS Cosmetofood spring water and see if it is as good as the Avene one. It’s always nice to find a dupe of a costly products. These were the 4 products that I received in my June Fab Bag, which look very promising, & I really, really plan to use all these four items as I mostly forget about the products that I get in subscription box. They keep on lying unused hidden in my closet. Overall, June 2017 Fab Bag is a nice edition. It is worth 1399 bucks, which qualifies it as a nice bag. Fab Bag March 2017 : Go Get It Girl

Hi Girls, I have to rush to a wedding, so I am just going to share few pictures of my fab bag products March 2017. Iwill be writing about these tomorrow, when I will be back to normal routine. Enjoy. Hi again, I am back from the wedding. It was a sweet & bitter experience, I would say. Since there was bit travelling involved it made things little bitter because of the jams we faced, but later at night things went smooth, and that was quite a delightful time with my family & relatives 🙂 So I thought, let me complete the Fab Bag post before the Sunday is over. I have been an avid subscriber of Fab Bag. I subscribed it from the very first month it was launched. It used to be called Velvette Bag, back then, later they changed it’s name to Fab Bag, which is super short & fab. It was a nice move. Below is the personalized card Fab people sent me informing about the products that I got in the March 2017 edition of Fab Bag which is themed- Go Get It Girl. Quite catchy.. huh? This time the bag is filled with 6 products, out of which 3 products are full sized. How cool is that. Let’s dig into details. Seduction Las Vegas 06 Lipstick – Nude Love I got an email from Fab Bag to choose a makeup product. I thought I would be provided with a lot of options but there were few lipsticks that were newly launched in India “Seduction Las Vegas“, and I was supposed to choose my shade. There were all shades ranging from reds, pinks, nudes, browns, I chose Nude Love, since I have too many bold lippies. I applied it, it was creamy and lasted for few hours. Will be out with review on it soon. Priced a Rs. 180. Super cheap… huh? SUGAR Tip Tac Toe Nail Lacquer This is a newly launched shade form SUGAR. I love SUGAR for the products it comes out with. All products are super pigmented & long lasting. SUGAR recently launched Tip Tac Toe Nail Lacquer (what a fancy name).This is a nice burgundy shade – Bowl Of Berries. Priced at Rs. 199. Will be it testing out, or should I put it in the giveaway box? 🙂 iba Halal Care Nourishing Foot Massage Cream Foot massages are quite luxurious. Doing this at home makes it quite economical though. I don’t know if it would be as relaxing as some one else doing it for me. We will see that. Priced at Rs. 95 for 50gm. Smells mostly of Jasmine. Ayorma Sun Block SPF 40 Within 3 months I have received 2 sun blocks from Fab Bag. The first one was a a gel based product, while this one looks more like a tinted moisturizer. It smells very herbal since it s from a herbal brand, Ayorma, feels water based. Will try it out. It is priced at Rs. 349 for 50ml. Moha Herbal Shower Gel I like to use shower gel during summer. They feel quite refreshing. I received Moha Herbal Shower Gel, which is supposed to be a herbal product since it contains Aloe, Neem, Tea Tree & Orange. It smells strongly herbal too. Priced at Rs. 105 for 100ml. Kronokare Aromatherapy Flower Power Toner I also got a flower based toner. Sounds & smells pleasant & mild. It is meant to suit all skin types. This can be a good choice for the people who do not like to use alcoholic toners. It is priced at Rs. 195 for 55ml. Overall, I really liked this month’s Fab Bag as opposed to the last month’s fab bag, which was relatively dull. It is definitely a winner for me. I like the bright checked patterned bag too. Looks very attractive. I missed to mention you can choose the color of the bag too. The other colors are pink & purple. Will be back again with reviews of the products I described above.
