Guest Post By Sreeparna Hi Guys! Summer is here and my sweaty face cannot bear anything more than a compact now-a-days. So, I am emphasizing more on Kajals and colourful lip balms. I can’t leave the house without makeup you know! Recently I got myself a new Kajal from Elle 18 because I heard good reviews about it. Previously I was switching between Lakme Eyeconic Green and Himalaya Kajal. Both Himalaya Kajal and the Elle 18 one are of black colour and both of them come under Rs.200. So, in my today’s post I will be comparing both of them to find out which one is the best quality wise, quantity wise and most importantly performance wise. Elle 18 Eye Drama Kajal in Bold Black Elle 18 Eye Drama Kajal is a simple and fuss-free twist-up basic black kajal that is a new addition to my makeup collection. These kinds of products are convenient for everyday purpose and even for occasional purposes because you only need a minute to go over both the eyes if you have practice and the eyes will be done. I have used Lakme Eyeconic, Maybelline Colossal and 1-2 other kajals of this sleek form but this one seemed to be the blackest one with amazingly smooth formula, pigmentation and staying power. Being the least costly one from this category of kohl, I expected it to be moderately good. But, I am really astonished to see the performance! For this price it’s no doubt a steal deal. Opthalmologically tested formula; would not irritate eyes Priced at Rs.135 for 0.35gm. Buy here. Comes in retractable stick form Gives jet black color in single swipe More or less Smudge-proof and Waterproof Although the tip is not sharp-able, the tip remains fine enough for both upper and lower lashline application Formula is buttery soft, no need to tug or pull at the time of application Stays intact for 6+ hours in my case; staying power is comparable to Maybelline Colossal Rating: 5/5 Himalaya Herbals Kajal Extra Smooth Water Proof Eye Definer Last year I was in an all-herbal fever when this Kajal from Himalaya landed into my stash. It had everything that a perfect herbal kajal should have; good pigmentation, herbal formulation was two most important of them. After using it for a few days, the cons started to appear. It was not smudge-proof, waterproof and long-lasting. I did not take the pains to set the kajal with anything in powder form. So, at the end of the day I was left with racoon eyes. I remember making frequent washroom visits at college to remove the smudged kajal from the under eye area. After a few hours I used to get exhausted of clearing under eye and the panda eyes were what I would see after coming home. Finally I realized this formula is not for me and since then the Kajal is sitting in my vanity as it is. If you want my opinion on this product I would say, go for this if you are a pro with non-smudge-proof kajals or if you are allergic to chemical based kajals. Contains the goodness of Damask Rose, Triphala, Castor Oil and Camphor Priced at Rs.120 for 2.7gm . Buy here. Comes in retractable bullet form; looks like lipstick bullet Gives dark black colour in one swipe itself Not Smudge-proof at all and Waterproof to some extent; smudges very easily giving racoon eyes Non-sharpable tip gets blunt after a few uses, precise application becomes tricky Formula is very smooth, glides easily Stays only 1-2 hours for the waterline and 2-3 hours for lower lashline Rating: 2/5 Few Comparison Pictures For You: Also Read Your Guide To Smudge Proof Kajal SUGAR Stroke Of Genius Heavy Duty Kohl In Black Lakme Eyeconic Kajal – Turquoise & Royal Blue Lakme Eyeconic Kajal – White VLCC Enchanting Eyes Kajal SUMMARY Elle 18 Kajal Himalaya Kajal Packaging Twist-up Sleek Stick Retractable Bullet Availability Easy Easy Formula Buttery Soft Soft and Smooth Shade Jet Black Jet Black Colour Pay-off Good Good Smudge-proof Yes No Water-proof Yes To some extent Staying Power 6-8 Hours Maximum 2-3 Hours Hope you liked the comparison and this post could help you choosing the best. Leave your comments what you think about the 2 kajals in comparison. Love.

Your eyes are doorway to your inner beauty & a Mascara is a magic wand adding length, curl, thickness & volume your eye lashes. Every one longs for long& thick eyelashes (find the recipe here), but a mascara is your short cut to those mesmerizing long lashes. Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara is a chubby lady promising to give extreme curl, length & volume to your eye lashes. Essence is a lovable brand I have used many lipsticks & eye shadows from the brand. I like the quality and pricing of the brand. Let’s go ahead with the review of I ❤ Extreme Volume Mascara, for your eyes only – pun intended 🙂 Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara contains ultra black pigments covering each lash color intensive and a large brush for stunning volume. Mascara for Extreme Volume Ultra Black Opthalmologically tested. Price Rs. 349 for 12ml. Buy here. Packaging I love Extreme Volume Mascara is packaged in a chubby black plastic tube with a black wand screwed-in at the top. I ❤ Extreme Volume Mascara is printed in bright pink fancy font while few lines about the mascara are printed horizontally along the tube. The packaging appeals to me. The applicator provided with the mascara is quite dense & has criss-cross bristles (as they say in any toothbrush ad). That is how Essence plans to deliver volume to eye lashes coating every single lash with rich pigmentation. My Experience The pigmentation of the mascara is decent. Although it is a black mascara, but when I swatched it on my hand the color looked more of kind of black and not super black. But as long as it works in lengthening & Curling my eye lashes I do not have any issues with the color of the mascara. Also full throttle black colored mascaras give you very dramatic eyes which does not suit to everyday look. Coming on the effects of the mascara, I like that it does a wonderful job in giving curl & little more volume to my eye lashes. It won’t give you falsies effect, but will give you a totally awake look. This is not a water proof mascara, so ladies do not wear it on rainy days or during swimming. The mascara can give you racoon eyes if you splash water on your eyes. The mascara does not require much efforts to get off the eyelashes, because it’s not a washproof version. I personally do not like to use water resistant mascara until it’s a must. I feel it is one affordable & affordable mascara like Maybelline Falsies one for your everyday mascara needs. Likes Gives nice curl & volume. Comes with nice applicator. Attractive packaging. Quick dry formula. Does not clump much. Good for every day purpose. Easy on pocket. Does not irritate eyes. Dislikes Not washproof. No ingredient list is provided. Concluding the post, Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara, is an everyday budget friendly mascara to give nice lift & volume to eyelashes. The mascara packaging is easy on eyes & the applicator is a nice one with dense bristles packed in a criss-cross pattern. The mascara is not washproof. I would give this mascara a rating of ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤/5. Hope you liked the review. Let me know. Love.

Hi, Today I am going to talk about VLCC Enchanting Eyes Kajal in Black. Frankly, I do not buy much products from VLCC due to a very bad experience that I had few years ago. I bought VLCC Fruit Facial Kit which left me with horrible cystic acne which took months to clear out. After that horrendous experience, I never really bought any skin care product from VLCC. Few weeks back, my eyes, really stuck on the kajal form VLCC. I was like, okay, it’s not a skin care product, I can try it out, since I have already tested so many kajals from other brands like Lakme, Lotus, Loreal, Maybelline, Soiul tree, Faces etc. To put it’s review here on HOG, I bought it. Let me tell you what I feel about this kajal stick, which is affordable, easily available & usable to start with. About VLCC Enchanting Eyes Kajal VLCC promises, what you expect from a decent kajal. Intense black, smudge free, water proff & dermatoligically tested formula. You can acheive your daily look with this kajal or can go winged eyeliner or smokey eyes with few strokes of this black beauty. Price Rs. 199 for 0.3g. Buy here. Ingredients Packaging It comes enclosed in an very informative packaging. The outer packaging disguises of a girl with beautiful big eyes layered with eyeshadows & flaunting bold lips. At the back of the outer packaging, multiple eye looks have been printed which could be achieved using VLCC Enchanting Eyes. Ingredient list of the kajal is also provided at the back. The kajal comes in a retractable pencil form, so it is very easy to use & I think is quite practical packaging for a kajal. The kajal pencil is black colored with black long cap on it. VLCC Enchanting Eyes is printed on the kajal pencil. Texture & Smell The texture of the kajal is very smooth, so smooth that I have to be very careful while using it to avoid any breakage. I actually broke it’s tip, the very first time I used this kajal. After that I have been very careful. The kajal tip was pointed when I bought it, but kajal sticks does not stay very pointy when you use them. I can not really draw a winged eyeliner with this, but it delivers smooth application to my water line. The kajal is devoid of any kind of smell. Pigmentation The pigmentation of the kajal is very nice. One swipe gives very good color pay off. There is practically no tugging or pressure is required to achieve heavily kohl-ed eyes. I tried smudging it to test it’s smudge proof claim. I was able to smudge it initially but on my eyes it stayed intact when I follow these steps to apply kajal. Finish The finish of the kajal is matte & intense. It provides jet black color to eyes. I also line my upper lid with this kajal & it works perfectly. I have tried to achieve the smokey eye look too with this kajal, it was okay in that department. One must be swift to achieve the smokey look with this kajal. Though it fails to deliver nice winged lines, sine it lacks a pointed tip. Longevity Whenever I know I need it too stay for an entire day, I follow proper steps to wear a kajal. Those days, the jakahl stays intact and does not go anywhere, otherwise, it stays for 4-5 hours before started getting to deposit under my eyes which intensifies my dark circles. Likes Nice creamy formula. Gives smooth application. Intense color pay off. Jet black color. Stays for long on water line. No allergies noticed. Dislike The tip does not stay pointy once used. Summary: 4.5/5 VLCC Enchanting Eyes Kajal is a decent buy as it delivers nice black colour at affordable price which stays for long hours. The creamy formula ensures smooth application. Hope you liked the review. Let me know if you have used this kajal? Do you wonder, how to keep you kajal intact for an entire day? Read this. Love.

Hello Again. I know you must be feeling like I have been reviewing a lot of SUGAR cubes these days, but I just can’t help it. I want to share my excitement with you people. All the products from SUGAR are really fab. They deserve appreciation. I like to use colored eye liners & kajals. Blacks are too basic & monotonous. Though I loved using black Kajal from SUGAR, but when I laid my hands on the twist & shout kajal range, I chose “Still Got The Blues”, because, I already have too many black kajals/liners. I want SUGAR to come up with more shades in this twist packaging as it is easy to use & I do not have to worry about sharpening the product before using it. Though the creamy tip is not really pointed, but at least there is no need to sharpen it, every single time. Let’s find out more about this creamy & colored kajal from SUGAR Cosmetics. About SUGAR Twist And Shout Fadeproof Kajal SUGAR listened to our requests and came up with the twist to open version of it’s creamy kajals and that too in two shades. It’s creamy consistency & preservative free formula makes it wearable on water line as well as on lash line. The kajal is designed such a way that you get a firm hold on the stick while applying it. SUGAR claims that the kajal will give benefits of a kajal as well as a gel liner. This will stay smudge proof for about 10 hours. Price Rs. 399 for 0.35gm. Buy here. Ingredients Mica, Ferric Ferrocyanide,Titanium Dioxide, Ultramarines, Iron Oxides Isododecane, Polyethylene, Synthetic Wax, Hydrogenated Polydicyclopentadiene, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Ethylene/Propylene Copolymer, Polybutene, Octyldodecanol, Perfluorononyl Dimethicone, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnama. Packaging The kajal stick comes in the signature packaging of SUGAR Cosmetics. The kajal comes in an abstract sleek & long card box suitable to store a pencil. The colored kajal has multi faceted packaging. The tip part of the kajal is blue colored describing it’s shade. To give your hands a firm grip of the product for precise application, there is a matte black band from where you are supposed to hold the kajal to apply it. Rest of the stick is black & shiny with a dark blue colored twister at the end to open & close the product out of the stick. Logo of SUGAR, shade name & number are printed on the cardbox as well as on the stick. Variants There are only two shades available in this range. 01 Black Velvet – Black 02 Still Got The Blues- Dark Blue Shade- 02 Still Got The Blues As the name suggests this is a pretty blue shade. Dark Blue to be precise. This is a versatile shade, to suit all the skin tones & eye colors. The shade does not have any shimmers & sets off in semi matte finish. Texture & Smell The texture of the kajal is very creamy & smooth. It is easy to be worn on the eyes be it water line or lash line. Actually it is too creamy that it breaks off. I mostly break it whenever I wear it. Also I just can not maintain the tip of the kajal due to it’s creamy consistency. There is practically no smell out of this smell. Pigmentation It is decently pigmented. And the pigmentation is buildable too because of it’s creamy consistency. I need 2 swipes at max to get the desired color pay off. The final finish is semi matte which can be converted into matte by applying powder eye shadow over it. Longevity I have worn this kajal on my eyes for 6-7 hours at a stretch. I have oily eye lids and I also wear eye cream. I generally wear a primer before applying a liner, so that the color lasts for long hours. This kajal also stays for long on my eyes. The liner on my lash line stays intact for 6-7 hours, while on my water line, it stays for 4-5 hours after which it smudges little bit. If I apply a powder eye shadow over it, the color stays intact for long hours. Summary : 4.5/5 Overall, I like this colored stick because of its creamy texture, nice color pay off & affordability. The retractable packaging is a bonus. But I have to be really careful while applying it, as it breaks off easily because of its creamy texture. I think this is a good grab for those quick mornings when you don’t have much time to get ready.

Guest Review by Sreeparna Ganguly Today I am reviewing the Silk Route Eye Color Quartet from my all time favourite brand Lakme. This eyeshadow palette is not a new launch; it used to come in Lakme’s Fantasy range I think. Now the brand has worked on the formula and relaunched it in their 9 to 5 range. Though I like eye shadows, they are not included in my everyday makeup essentials. That is why I opted for this small palette where I can get the basic festive eye colours to match my ethnic wardrobe. After a lot of testing today I have come up with the review. Keep reading to know how it worked on me. About Lakme 9 to 5 Eye Color Quartet in Silk Route A versatile quartet of high intensity powders that color shape and highlight the eye. How To Use Use applicator to smooth-on shade over crease of eyelid. Blend outwards to merge with skin. Use one colour. Combine three or use all four. Go ahead. Experiment. Use dark shade only to line your upper eyelid, in a fairly thin line along the upper lashes. Use the medium shade for the crease. Use the lightest shade for the area under the eyebrow. Price Rs.550 for 7gm. Buy here. Ingredients Not Mentioned Packaging The 4 eyeshadows of this quartet is fixed in a rose-gold plastic square pan with transparent plastic lid. When you open up the lid, you will find a square shaped see-through cellophane flap to protect the shadows. The palette also has a small compartment where a tiny sponge-tip applicator is provided. The entire palette comes wrapped in a rose-gold cardboard slide-open outer cover. This cover contains most of the useful information regarding the product. Overall the packaging is sturdy, compact and very much travel-friendly. Shade & Texture- Silk Route As it is a quartet we are getting 4 eye shadows here. There is no way to distinguish them individually because company has not provided any name or number as such. For ease of understanding, I have marked them with numbers from 1 to 4. Let’s check out the colours one by one. Shade-1. This eye colour is a light pink with rose-gold pearly sheen. I did not keep my expectation too high for this shade but it stunned me with its awesome pigmentation and blending capability. The shade has golden tone to its shimmer particles that makes it suitable for majority of Indian complexion. Shade-2. This one is bronze gold. The ‘bronziness’ adds royalty to this shadow. Again pigmentation is superb. Shade-3. Now, this one is my least favourite from this palette. Not for the shade, for the texture. It’s a gorgeous pink shade with rose-gold fine shimmer. The shade looks flattering on everyone regardless of skin’s undertone. It, however, has a peculiar clinging tendency. To take out the product from the pan I need to literally scratch the surface. But once it is placed in the eyelids it shows its exact colour and does not crease a bit. Shade-4. This shade is a perfect steel grey colour with finely dusted shimmer particles. It is the darkest shade from this palette and is very pigmented. The shades 1, 2 and 4 are buttery smooth in texture that makes the application and blending process very easy. I have not experienced any fallout issues with any of the eye shadows of this palette. Fragrance This eye palette has a very faint medicinal smell. It goes off immediately after application. Pigmentation Every shade of this eye palette is quite pigmented and buildable. Even the light shades show their true colour on my pigmented eyelids in 2 swipes. The colours can be intensified further with 1-2 more swipes. The pigmentation is highest with wet application. Finish All the eye colours of this palette look shimmery in the palette but they give satiny finish in the eye. Longevity The staying power of the eye shadows is not bad in dry weather. They stay as it is for 3-4 hours without any eye primer. Then they start to fade little by little. With a perfect base beneath, the staying power is increased by 1-2 hours. My Experience I have experimented a lot with this palette. I used the shadows as per the instruction but it somehow did not suit my eye shape. So, I came up with my own eye makeup looks after a number of trials and errors. Shade-1 is pretty similar to Kareena Kapoor Khan’s eye lid shade in Lakme Eyeconic Advertorial. So, I kind of copy that minimalistic eye look for my daytime look. I use it all over the lid with dramatic winged liner. The 2nd and 3rd shade can be used like the 1st shadow. When I want to define my eyes, I keep them as the lid colour and for the outer V, I use the 4th shade. I love to create smokey eyelook with the 4th shade. As this quartet lacks a matte crease colour, I mix a darker shade pressed powder with a coral toned matte blush to come up with my own crease eye shadow. Likes Pigmentation and staying power is impressive considering price Buildable colours No fallout Warm toned colours that suit Indian complexion Helps to create a number of eye looks from minimal to dramatic Dislikes Shade 3 is quite hard to work with No matte crease shade is provided Ingredient list is not mentioned Summary-4.75/5 Overall I find Lakme 9 to 5 Silk Route quartet a beginner friendly compact eye shadow palette with highly pigmented satin finish shades. Ciao.

Now this is some really heavy duty kohl or kajal as you may like to call it. I received it back in my January’s Fab Bag. Since then I have been using it. Whenever I feel like putting on some kajal I reach for this kohl. SUGAR is a new brand but have always impressed me with it’s products except the Lash Mob Mascara, that was not something I would rave about. I love it’s Liquid Lipsticks and the matte ones too. Every thing is just so perfectly & insanely pigmented and lasts long. Let me tell you why I skip my HG liner for years to wear this kohl. About SUGAR Stroke Of Genius Heavy Duty Kohl This is one of the most pigmented, creamy & smooth kohl I have ever used. SUGAR really nailed it this time. It gives the perfect black colour with just one swipe. SUGAR claims the formula to be wax based & waterproof hence no tugging rubbing or smudging for long hours. Price Rs. 499. Buy here. Ingredients Iron Oxides, Black 2, Mica, Ferric Ferrocyanide, Dimethicone, Synthetic Wax, Silica, Stearyl Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Trimethylsiloxysilicate/Dimethiconol Crosspolymer, Octadecene, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Isoceteth-10 Packaging It comes in a matte black pencil form with a black cap covering it’s mouth. The pencil is also shipped with a black coloured sharpener (made in Germany) since it is not a retractable pencil and needs to be sharpened very often. SUGAR’s logo is printed on the pencil in white colour also the kohl’s name & shade is printed horizontally. On the sharpener also, ‘SUGAR’ is embossed. The simplest packaging of all. Texture & Smell The kohl is very creamy and smooth since it is wax based formula. It glides on my water line and eye lid way too smoothly leaving intense colour behind. It surely is a stroke of genius. There is practically no smell out of the kohl. Shade – 01 Back To Black This is one of the blackest kohl I have ever used. The blackest black that I can ever ask for. Only one swipe and I find that intense colour on my lids/waterline. I wish SUGAR comes up with more shades with this formula. Pigmentation As I have mentioned above the piece is highly pigmented. I do not need another stroke, it’s that heavenly pigmented. I have tried layering up the products many times, but it does not alter the final finish. Finish The finish of this kohl is semi matte it’s not fully matte or fully glossy, it’s something in between, works for me. In case you desire to have a complete matte finish, you can dab a black matte eye shadow over it. Longevity It does stay for 7-8 hours without any smudge. Then I take it off. I have never worn it over 7-8 hours. The formula is waterproof but it is easy to take it off with my regular face wash and water. But I prefer removing my eye makeup with little baby oil. ** I have worn this kohl here. Likes Creamy & smooth texture. One swipe gives intense colour. The blackest black shade. Intense pigmentation. Does not smudge. Stays on eyes for long. Easy to take it off. Sleek packaging. Dislikes It needs to be sharpened with every use otherwise I can not draw precise lines. The sharpening leads to wastage of product which makes it little pricey. Summary : ❤❤❤❤❤ The blackest black and smooth textured kohl. This surely makes it a must have product for me. I used to love gel eye liners, but this is more convenient if I ignore the sharpening thing. SUGAR should come up with a retractable packaging with same formula and more shades.

I am not a fond of using loose dust on my eyes since I have very clumsy hands and loose dust has a tendency to fall off more plus it needs more precision than the regular eye shadows. Whenever I apply loose dust, I spill more than I put on my eyes. I was actually looking for silver sparkle when the shop owner showed this blue dust to me. The colour in the small pot looked really bright and charming. I have used this dust quite few times, the colour is mesmerizing. Let me tell you what else is likable in this small post of shimmer dust. About Miss Claire Shimmer Dust Miss Claire claims that the shimmer dust contains high level of colour pigments so that you get an intense look. also the mild shimmer particles will illuminate your eyes naturally. The formula is crease proof & water proof. Price The price of all the Miss Claire products vary a lot depending upon the store. I got this shimmer for Rs. 195 which seems quite affordable to me. But now the rates have been revised and the shimmer dust is selling ta Rs. 250. Ingredients Not mentioned. Packaging The shimmer pot will fit in to the palm of your hand, it’s that small. The shimmer dust comes in a transparent cylindrical pot with alloy screw-open lid with “Miss Claire Shimmer Dust” printed over it. Same is printed at the bottom of the pot. The pot has also got a plastic shield over it while having few narrow holes on it to disperse the product out. The packaging looks quite practical, but I still can’t manage to avoid the product spillage and wastage. Shades Miss Claire Shimmer Dust comes in 16 shades which is an impressive range, but all the shades are numbered as Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Creams, and do not have any names. Shade – 04 It is a bright blue shade which looks every flattering on all skin tones and eye colours. Blue shades actually are helpful in popping out small or hooded eyes and are recommended by makeup experts. This particular shade, ofcourse, contains shimmer particles hence the name shimmer dust. Do not expect chunky glitter, the shimmer is really fine and the final look will only have a hint of shimmer. Texture & Smell The shimmer dust is very fine and smooth. I do not face any issues while applying it or blending it. Multiple layers can go easily on top of each others without being/looking patchy. There is no noticeable smell out of the shimmer pot. Pigmentation Coming to the pigmentation, it is average. I really have to apply many layers to achieve an intense look. You can figure out the same by the swatches given below. Finish It gives beautiful shimmery finish. The shimmers are fine hence the shade looks really bright. Longevity The longevity of the application depend upon the intensity of a look. If I apply only 1-2 layers, the look stays for 2-3 hours at max. But intense look stays for longer hours. It is also easy to retouch and intensify the look. Likes Fine & smooth texture. Beautiful shade. Final finish is shimmery. Easy to apply and blend. Practical packaging. Affordable. A wide range of shades available to choose from. Dislikes Pigmentation is not impressive hence need to layer up the product to get an intense look. Longevity also depend upon the intensity of the look. Availability is a big issue. Summary The shimmer dust form Miss Claire is an affordable and smooth textured dust with mild shimmer which results into beautiful finish. The pigmentation is not much impressive but is buildable hence fares well on my eyes with a primer beneath. Will also try more shades from the range. Miss Claire Shimmer Dust : ❤❤❤ Shade No 4: ❤❤❤❤ Have you experimented with loose dust? Does this shimmer dust tempt you to try it? Leave our beautiful notes in the comment section, I love finding them. XOXO

Mascara is one of those basic things that a girl, who is even a little bit into makeup, must have one. For that awake look, girls go gaga over their HG mascara. An ideal mascara should be good enough to give a curl, length & volume simultaneously. I too like to use one, since I have small and deep set eyes. A mascara is essential to look sharp. In my January’s Fab Bag, I received a mascara from SUGAR Cosmetics as a bonus since I subscribed for 6 months straight. I am a big fan of Sugar Lipsticks. The day I received Sugar Liquid Lipstick, I could not keep away and I have been wearing it every day. Never used any mascara from Sugar until now since Maybelline The Falsies is doing fine for my lashes. Let me tell you how the mascara fared on my lashes. About SUGAR Lash Mob Limitless Mascara SUGAR claims that this is a magic wand to turn you from Plain Jane to Queen Bee. It promises to provide a clump free formula while giving volume to your lashes with out making your eyes feel heavy. The mascara wand has micro bristles to coat each and every lash and giving dramatic eyes. The formula is clump free means only volume without clumsy lashes. The formula is free of parabenes, talc & artificial fragrances. Even taking off this mascara is super easy. Only massaging with warm water will loosen up the formula. And without rubbing your eyes you can take it off completely. Price Rs. 699 for 9ml. Buy here. Ingredients Water (Aqua), Synthetic Beeswax, Paraffin, Iron Oxides CI 77499, Stearic Acid, Acacia Senegal Gum (Acacia Senegal), Triethanolamine, Butylene Glycol, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax (Cera Carnauba), Polybutene, Triacontanyl PVP, Glyceryl Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopherol, Sodium Stearate, Polyquaternium-65 Packaging The outer packaging is bold and beautiful with colourful abstract designs which is SUGAR’s signature packaging. The mascara is packed in a all black mascara tube with applicator wand at top. The outer packaging contains the mascara name and ingredients while the mascara tube holds only the name of the mascara and the shade which is “Black With A Bang” in white colour. The packaging is matte and classy. Shade – 01 Black With A Bang SUGAR released only one shade of this mascara- 01 Black With A Bang. May be it plans to release more shades in future. It is Black as the shade name screams loudly. I feel it is not the blackest black that you would want your black mascara to be. The colour could have been more intense. Texture & Smell It is creamy and smooth textured mascara, goes on eye lashes smoothly if I can manage to take out enough product from the mascara tube. I feel the mascara is little dried up or something is wrong with my piece. It does not smell strong but it has hints of a chemically smell. My Experience I have used it 4-5 times by now. After using L’Oreal’s mascara for a long time, I appreciate Maybelline The Fasies a lot. I like what it does to my lashes without making them feeling heavy. I was expecting the same thing from SUGAR’s mascara too. The formula is non clumpy, looks natural also does not make my eye lashes feel heavy, but it lacks the ability to provide that much claimed volume or high drama. The formula is lightweight and hence fails to deliver the volume claim too. Rest what you expect form a mascara. It’s good to wear nothing if it cannot provide you even little volume or length. It does not make much difference. Sorry SUGAR, but this mascara could not impress me, while I totally adore your lippies. Likes Lightweight & non clumpy formula. Looks natural. Sleek & classy packaging. Formula is free of parabenes, talc & artifical fragrance. Dislikes High on claims, low on delivery. Does not provide much volume. Pricey. Summary : ❤❤❤ Even though the formula is parabene free, lightweight & clump-free, this mascara could not impress me much. First it’s pricey, second it does not deliver that much promised dramatic eyes. I would not recommend this mascara. Don’t want to use a mascara? Grow those lashes naturally. Ciao.

A Saturday morning gives such a relaxing feeling, doesn’t it? But I hate it when he has to go to office on a Saturday. That makes it a typical day for me like today… hmm.. lets proceed with this typical day then. I have been reviewing skin care products from a while, so let’s do some makeup post today. I am going to talk about Blue Heaven Line & Design Sketch Eyeliner in Black today, it’s a pen style eye liner. Pen style eyeliners are very convenient to use I feel. I hardly use liquid liners. About Blue Heaven Line & Design Sketch Eyeliner Blue Heaven presents a smudge proof & water proof eyeliner with quick dry formula and intense pigmentation. Company claims that it is a new generation eye liner pen with fine felt tip to give precise extra dark colour to eyes. Also since it is water proof, it stays for long hours. I have found Blue Heaven makes decent products. Most of the products that I have used from Blue heaven have fared really well, specially the Follow Me lipsticks. This is another decent product from Blue Heaven. It gives what is expected from an eyeliner, precise application, intense colour and longevity. Price Rs. 205 for 9g. Buy here. Packaging It comes in a black pen packaging with really fine felt tip which is smooth and gives thin lines. It’s very sleek but still I feel no issues in the grip. How To Use Close your eyes. Start from the outer corner of your eye and swipe till the inner corner. This is a typical application. You can achieve multiple winged eye liner looks with the perfect felt tip eye liner. My Views I really prefer using pen style eye liner as compared to the liquid liners since they are so easy and the felt tip gives absolute control over the lining. I feel the beginners should start with pen liners to expertise their liners or winged eye liners for that matter. The tip of the pen is really fine and sooth. I find the tip go really smooth on my eye lids, there is no tugging or any kind of struggle. The tip is fine so it gives really thin line over my eye lid which also means that I have precise control over the width of the liner. I can re-swipe the pen to get a thick liner over my eyelids. The intensity of the pen eye liner is decent. The colour pay off is good. The finish is semi matte. The formula dries off pretty fast hence I don’t need to wait to apply another layer of the liner. The longevity of this liner is good since it is a water proof liner. There are no smudges. It stays on eye lids until I take it off. Even though it is a water proof eye liner, but it is easy to take it off. A regular face wash can take it away. Likes Smooth texture. Quick dry formula. Fine felt tip to give precise control over the liner. Good colour pay off. Staying power is good. Water & smudge proof. Affordable and easily available. Dislikes : None Summary: 5/5 This is a very affordable and quality product from Blue Heaven. The pen eyeliner gives nice control over creating lines over the lids with decent intensity and staying power. College going girls can give it a try since its easy on pocket yet gives nice performance. Create fun looks with this eye liner. Also check out ADS Instant Dry Liquid Eye Liner Maybelline The Colossal Eyeliner Maybelline EYESTUDIO Vivid & Smooth Gold Liner Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner- Lazer Green NELF Waterproof Gel Liner XOXO
