Hola Girls, After Oriflame’s Seeing Is Believing Eye Cream got over, I started using Iraa Insta Renew Multi Action Under Eye Cream which I got in one of my September fab bag subscription. It’s been about a month now that I have been using this eye cream. Using an eye cream is a part of my skin care regimen. I don’t use the regular day creams or lotion under my eyes. Because I generally use very light lotions on my face & which might not provide the essential moisturization to my under eye area which always demands for more. My Ideal Eye Cream I have deep set pair of eyes and hence permanent dark hollows around my eyes are quite prominent. They never disappear. With time, my eyes seem to sunk in more into my skull which makes the dark circles more intense. I have this constant struggle to keep my under eye area brighter to pop out my small eyes. Here is what I desire in an under eye cream: It must be lightweight but should be able to provide right amount of moisture. It must absorb easily. It must not leave behind nay oily residue. It must not come off in layers in case I apply a concealer or any other makeup under my eyes. It must work to diminish the appearance of dark circles. It must work to minimize fine lines or laugh lines. It must improve the texture of my under eye area. It must be clinically tested to be used on the under eye area. It must not be super expensive. It must be easy to use & carry around. Better if it contains natural ingredients. Also it should be devoid of parabenes. I hope you get an idea how high my hopes are when I start using a new under eye cream. So I always test an under eye cream on these parameters. Now I am going to share my views of iraa instarenew multi action under eye cream. Eye Creams For Dark Circles : What Worked For Me And What Not Iraa InstaRenew Multi Action Under Eye Cream This is a fast absorbing fragrance free formula designed to soothe the delicate eye area and renew its youthful look. Containing exotic algae, grapeseed, cucumber, shea butter & vitamin E, this eye cream reduces dark circles, puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles, leaving skin hydrated and revitalized. Algae : Increase collagen production upto 93% to improve skin texture around eyes. Grapeseed : Moisturizes eye area without feeling heavy Cucumber : Treats skin pigmentation Shea Butter : Moisturises Skin Vitamin E : Anti oxidant & moisturizer . Price & Availability It is priced at Rs. 490 for 20gm. It is not a budget product but is relatively cheaper than the high end branded under eye cream. Eye Creams are generally priced higher than face creams because they are specially formulated for the delicate eye area. Iraa under eye cream is available online. Though I have not witnessed the availability offline yet. Ingredients Packaging Iraa Under Eye Cream comes in a sleek tube packaging. The white opaque tube has a nozzle to dispense the product. The nozzle is covered with a shiny metallic cap which gives the overall packaging an attractive look. The labels on the tube are quite informative. You can also refer to the outer packaging of the tube which again contains the product info. The packaging is quite attractive as well as very user friendly and easy to carry around. Fragrance & Texture This is a fragrance free under eye cream which is like another positive point about this eye cream. It’s texture is quite runny and water based. So it instantly gets absorbed into the skin leaving behind nothing at all. There is no greasy or shiny finish to be noticed after words. My Experience Till now, things are looking quite good about this eye cream as you might have noticed. Texture, fragrance, packaging, everything seems falling in place. What about the moisture part. Does it quench the thirst of of under eye area? Yes. Surprisingly, I do not feel to slather any moisturizer after using this cream under my eye area. My under eye skin feels quite hydrated. Now after using it for about a month, what are my observations regarding the long term effects of this eye cream? I find the texture of my under eye area has improved. It’s more smooth & with lesser number of fine lines. I do not have deep seated wrinkles or do not suffer from puffiness, so cannot comment on those concerns. But it surely has not done much about the appearance of my dark circles. They seem to be as much pigmented as they were before using this eye cream. I can’t tel how much product is left in the tube but I would keep on using it until I finish it so that I in case I find any progress I shall notify you. Do I Recommend Iraa InstaRenew Multi Action Under Eye Cream? If your main concern is to treat dark circles, then, it is not a right cream. If you want to treat fine lines & improve under eye area skin texture, it is a nice grab. I am not sure if I will be re purchasing this cream. I am in two minds right now. Overall, Iraa InstaRenew Multi Action Under Eye Cream is a nice eye cream to maintain under eye area health and appearance. It contains the goodness of algae, cucumber & grapeseed. It is very lightweight, absorbs easily. Does not interfere with makeup applied over it. Hydrates under eye area very well without giving giving shiny finish. The price is bit on high side, but I have found that decent eye creams generally come in that range. Please share if you have any experience with this eye cream. Dark Circles under and around eyes, can ruin a beautiful face. Dark Circles can be a permanent resident on deep set eyes, like I have. From my experience, I can say, if you have dark circles, they can never totally disappear, but they can be minimised. I have tried many eye creams some expensive, some under budget. I am going to share what worked for my under eye area which has dark circles plus some fine lines also has started showing up. Will also let you know, which ones didn’t work for me. My skin is oily but my under eye area is very dry. So rich in moisture creams can only work for me. If you are looking for natural remedies to treat your dark circles, read this. Aroma Magic Under Eye Gel Aroma Magic is a very trusted brand, and most of the products offered by this brand, are very effective. Aroma Magic under eye gel is a light gel based under eye treatment, which is suitable for dull & tired eyes. It is a gel, hence it gives soothing effect after a long day at work. This is perfect if you have mild dark circles or puffy eyes. Retails at about Rs. 135 for 20 gms. Since my under eye area is quite darkened, this gel could not give much brightening. But yeah, it definitely gave soothing effect to my eyes. Aroma Magic Almond Under Eye Cream If you have major dark circle issues, you need something heavy duty like Aroma Magic Almond Eye Cream. Almond Oil helps in reducing under eye fine lines and dark circles to great extent. But you have to be patient and consistent with the application. This also retails at Rs. 135 for 20 gms. It worked little bit on my under eye area. This could not make much difference though. It moisturised my under eye area. It felt little heavy since it contained almond oil. Jovees 24 Carat Eye Contour Gel I have not personally used it, but have read lots of reviews. Recently my sister started using this since she is also dealing with dark circles and fine lines under her eyes.It’s working for her. A unique formulation containing 24 Carat Gold leaves, precious herbs and botanical along with pure gold. Since it’s a gel, it won’t feel heavy on your eyes. It refreshes eye area. You might layer up your regular moisturiser upon this gel for extra hydration. Retails at Rs. 235. Forest Essentials Eye Cream With Anise My HG eye cream. It’s texture, efficacy & smell, every thing is so wonderful. It gave results in about 2 weeks. It also helped me with fine lines under my eyes. It brightened my under eye area. It lasts very long since you need very little amount for each application. Read the full review here. The only downside of this eye cream is it’s ever raising cost. When I first started using it, it used to come for about 15oo bucks, very costly even at that price. Now, it retails at about 2200 bucks only for a 15ml pot. Way too costly. Oriflame Optimals Seeing Is Believing Eye Cream This is an eye cream which is not as costly as Forest Essentials Eye Cream, but almost as efficient. There is only little difference between Forest Essentials Eye Cream and Oriflame Optimals Eye Cream. Oriflame Eye Cream also take care of the dark circles and fine lines but it takes some time, while Forest essentials show results withing a lesser time period. To maintain the effects, you must use an eye cream. Oriflame’s Eye Cream retails for about 500-600 bucks, but I always buy it from Amazon at discount. Juicy Chemistry Coffee & Green Tea Eye Cream Who does not want fast results? Juicy Chemistry is a herbal brand. But it’s products are exceptionally quick to deliver results. Within 4-5 days my under eye area started looking moisturized and relaxed. Within 10-15 days, it started looking brighter than before. Being affordable & natural is like bonus point. Clinique All About Eyes I have used the tinted version of this cream as well as the non tinted version. This proved to be a good eye cream, just very costly. This is quite rich in consistency and provide good hydration. Gives little brightening effect to eye and also helps with fine lines. But it costs about 2850. Forest essential is cheaper and more effective. Clinique Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector This is actually a concealer plus eye cream. You can take it as a tinted eye cream. I didn’t find much difference in my dark circle while using it. I took it more as a very costly concealer since it costs around 3250 bucks. Himalaya Under Eye Cream I have seen people raving so much about this under eye cream, but my dark circle are quite intense, this cream could not do much about them. It retails for about 165 bucks, get from Amazon.in at discount. Biotique Bio Almond Soothing & Nourishing Under Eye Cream This is quite a thick cream, I found it too thick for an eye cream. I really had to rub it vigorously to try to make it fully absorbed into the skin which it never did. It just sat under my eyes. It was helpful with the dark circles, but I just didn’t like it for it’s texture. Also it took time to show up some results. It costs about Rs. 199 but available at discount on Amazon.in. Oriflame Royal Velvet Firming Eye Contour Cream It is not actually meant for dark circles, but it is rather a firming cream. It of course didn’t do much for my dark circles, but yeah worked little bit on the fine lines under my eyes. I didn’t repurchase it, because, I stumbled upon Forest Essentials Eye Cream by the time I finished this eye cream from Oriflame. Iraa InstaRenew Multi Action Under Eye Cream This is a light weight, fast absorbing & non greasy eye cream. It works to improve under eye texture and gives a smooth look. But do not expect much improvement in the improvement of dark circles. L’Oreal Paris Youth Code Eye Cream This is the worst eye cream I ever used. I am sorry L’Oreal, but I actually had an allergic reaction from this eye cream in first few usages. I bought the Youth Code Serum & Eye Cream few months back, but both proved to be a disaster. The face serum gave me rashes while the eye cream irritated my under eye area. End Of Story. I shared my experience with some eye creams so that it could help some one. Look out for a rich in moisture eye cream if you are 25+, lack of moisture can introduce & intensify the eye area darkness & fine lines.
