It was another birthday gift to me by myself last month. And I have been wearing it since then. What is it? A Rose Based Deodorant. It’s Marks & Spencer Floral Collection Anti-Perspirant Deodorant in Rose. I chose Rose fragrance, over other variants since it’s my all time favorite when it comes to deodorants. Also spotting a fragrance which is close to Rose smell, is hard. So this was an instant grab. I actually did not get any thing else from Marks & Spencer that day except the deodorant, you can understand how much I liked it. Marks & Spencer Floral Collection Fragranced Antiperspirant Deodorant This floral range from Marks & Spencer is alcohol free antiperspirant. It gives out pure fragrance & nothing else. The range also includes Rose, Lavender & Magnolia. It keeps you fresh all day long making you confident about your smell. Price & Availability It is priced at Rs. 499 for 150ml. Since it’s Marks & Spencer, it is priced bit high from other regular brands in India. It is available in all the Marks & Spencer stores as well as online shopping websites. Find it over Amazon.in. Ingredients Packaging It comes packaged beautifully. It comes in a light pink & white colored theme. The pump and the long cap over the pump are white. The pump is easy to work with. All the information regarding the product is provided over the packaging. Fragrance This variant is Rose and it smells of English Roses. Top notes, middle notes or basic notes, every thing is just roses. How pleasant that could be? You can imagine. I do not even smell anything alcoholic out of it as I open the cap of this deodorant. All I smell is Rose. A lot of roses. Fresh Roses. I would like to point out a con though. It leaves behind white stains if applied over clothes. Performance When a deodorant passes fragrance test, longevity of the deodorant is also important. I think it performs decent in that department too. I wear it after my morning shower & I can smell hints of roses until late noon. Rose fragrance is mild and hence the fragrance of this deodorant too subsidize in few hours leaving few hints behind. If you want to smell strong all day long, you need to spritz another round of the deodorant during mid day. Will I Repurchase This Deodorant? Oh, yes. It can also make a nice gift option. I would also like to try out the Lavender version too. Do I Recommend This Deodorant? If you are a fan of rose based fragrances, and you really want to smell like English Roses, this fragrance is for you. But do not expect it give you a full day protection against ordure if you are out sweating. It is antiperspirant but not suitable for sporty people. After all it’s a feminine fragrance. Revlon Charlie Perfumed Body Spray in Red, Blue & Gold

Hello Ladies, By the time you will read this, I will be long gone for a one day trip to a nearby wildlife sanctuary. I shall share all the details pretty soon. What have I got for you today? Revlon Charlie Perfumed Body Spray in Red, Blue & Gold. I got this combo few weeks back and I have been using the three variants of body spray alternatively depending upon my mood since then. Using a body spray is definitely something we can not omit from our daily routine. Even though I like to use Nivea Whitening Body Roll On, but that does not stay for long and if I am stepping out of my home, I usually spray a body spray to smell fresh. Even though Secret Temptation te amo pearl body spray is a decent fragrance, but just to try out something fresh and picked the trio pack of Revlon Charlie. I have used Charlie Red numerous times before, but the other variants I have been trying out for the very first time. Charlie range of perfumed body spray was designed by Revlon back in 1973. The range includes all the likable notes for a feminine fragrance – floral, fruity, sweet, woody and more. Variants : Red, Blue, Gold, Crystal Chic, Neon Chic. Price: All the variants are priced at Rs. 190 for 150ml. Buy here. Ingredients : Since the deodorants contain flammable ingredients, make sure not to bring them near flames. Revlon Charlie Red Perfumed Body Spray The Red variant from Revlon Charlie range is for a bold, sensuous & daring you. I have always loved wearing this fragrance. The fragrance comes packaged in a nice shiny red aluminium bottle with a red pump and red cap on it’s mouth. The Bottle is long sleek 150 ml. I think this is the only size they come in. Not really travel friendly but otherwise sturdy. Describing the fragrance of the body spray, it is a nice blend of fruity, flowery and spicy smells to give it a sensuous touch. If you like to smell bit of mysterious, this is just the right fragrance to go for. The top notes are spicy while middle notes give hints of roses. The bottom notes are basic sandalwood. I have always liked this fragrance more than the other variants. So always pick this whenever I can. The fragrance stays for 3-4 hours only, which is sad. It does not last for very long. One must keep on spraying it every 3-4 hours to sustain the fragrance. Revlon Charlie Blue Perfumed Body Spray Blue is everyday kind of fragrance. Cool, refreshing, sporty & bit of flirtatious. It comes packaged in a bright electric blue colored aluminium bottle with same color pump and cap over it. I really liked when I used it. It definitely is a nice fragrance to go for everyday. It is flowery sweet top notes, cool middle notes with powdery base notes. The smell is not strong but is not subtle to not get noticed. I really liked it. If Red is for sensuous night, Blue definitely qualifies for cooler days. the staying power is again 3-4 hours while I am out & sweating. I must carry it in my bag in case I am out all day long which does not feel quite practical. Revlon Charlie Gold Perfumed Body Spray The Gold variant from the body spray range comes in a gold packaging. A rich liquid gold packaging giving a luxurious & glamorous feeling. The spray pump and the cap are copper colored though. The pump sprays nicely but needs bit of pressure, maybe just my product is like this. Revlon Charlie Gold, is classic feminine fragrance. You will find it bit flowery, musky & woody. Some powdery after notes. I find it more subtle then Red & Blue variants. It too does not stay for long, but the fragrance itself is very sensuous, bold & glamorous. I like the way how my skin smells after using this deodorant. I think, during winter, the fragrance will be more sustainable. Out of the 3, I prefer, Red & Blue the most, as, they are not as subtle as the Gold variant. They really mark their presence on a sporty day even though it is for few hours. The fragrances are very wearable be it any variant, just performance is an issue for me. I do not like to carry a 150 ml bottle with me all day long. It’s very impractical thing. I like to use some miniature versions of deodorants but this range does not offer any. Otherwise the deodorants are affordable and widely available too. Hi, Secret Temptation brings a new series of no-gas perfume body spray for you – Te Amo consisting of Pearl, Breeze & Aqua. I have been using Secret Temptation Te Amo Pearl Perfume Body Spray from a while & it’s the time to pen down my views on the same. Secret Temptation never really tempted me honestly. But this time, the packaging & the light fresh notes of the fragrance is different (in a good way) than the earlier series from the brand. I picked up Pearl while I also liked Breeze. I was actually trying to find Fog Ossum Everyday Perfumes, nearby my place, but could not. So I laid my hands over Secret Temptation te amo range instead. Secret Temptation te amo Pearl Perfume Body Spray Secret Temptation brings a no gas and all perfume deodorant for you. The deodorant has Earthy notes mingled with a floral tinge that give this fragrance an oriental essence and the exoticism of Pearls. Price Rs. 199 for 120ml. Ingredients Packaging The non gas deodorant comes packed inside a white colored opaque aluminum cylindrical bottle with a white spray nozzle and transparent cap at the mouth. The bottle has graffiti graphic in blue & pink and ‘Secret Temptation’ printed over it. Ingredients & other information is also printed over the bottle. Variants Secret Temptation released 3 variants of te amo series: Aqua– Perfume body spray with floral notes romancing a dewy tone, Aqua offers whimpers of natural Ingredients. Breeze – Perfume body spray with woody, floral notes topped with a twist of berries. Pearl – Perfume body spray with earthy notes mingled with a floral tinge give this fragrance an oriental essence and the exoticism of pearls. Fragrance I would prefer floral fragrance over a sweet one any day. I have used Adidas Fruity Rhythm which is a mix of sweet & floral smell. But that too I found more sweet rather than floral. I never managed to finish it & finally gave it to my sister. When I first inhaled te amo Pearl from Secret Temptation, I found a strong impact of floral notes hit my senses. The very second I decided to buy it. Secret Tempation te amo Pearl deodorant is a mix of earthy & floral notes, with a hint of powdery smell of Pearls which makes it very exotic. The top notes are Floral while the bottom notes are powdery & earthy. Longevity There are always 2 factors which define the performance of a deodorant. First is the smell & the second is the ability of the deodorant to make you feel fresh for a long time. Strong fragrances have a plus point to last longer. Coming to the feminine fragrances, we generally want to use more milder & soothing fragrances as compared to the man’s fragrances. When we are dealing with subtle fragrances, the staying power suffers. This deodorant won’t make you smell like flowers all day long (no matter how much we want our deodorant to do this), it just vanishes away into your skin or clothes, giving very subtle hints of ‘ I am still there’ for about 3 to 4 hours. Later it keeps on fading gradually. At the end of day, the deodorant disappears from the skin but manages to linger on the clothes which is a plus point for me. I have a habit to spray deodorants only on my clothes and never on my skin unless it’s a roll on deodorant. Likes Non gas perfume. A blend of earthy & flower notes, makes it quite an exotic fragrance. Subtle & feminine fragrance. The flowery notes reminds me of All Good Scents Rose Fragrance. Just in love with the fresh packaging. Affordable. Dislikes The deodorant does not provide not an all day long fragrance, if you are outdoor & heavily sweating, you need to spray it on after 3-4 hours. Packaging is not travel friendly. Carrying a bottle of 120ml in your bag, is little bit space consuming. Summary : 4.5/5 I really do not demand feminine fragrances to last a whole day. Above all, very few deodorants smell all flowery & earthy. The fragrance is fresh, one of a kind & affordable. The other variants from Secret Temptation te amo range, too are quite tempting. I hope you get an idea of the fragrance, because it is quite difficult to describe a smell in words, at least for me. Sometimes, I just can’t find a name for it. What kind of smells do you like? I have been always a fan of Park Avenue fragrances be it for him or her. These fragrances surely make a wonderful gift too. I visited a local store recently and spotted this variant for Women Deodorant from Park Avenue there. I picked it up without hesitation and sniffed the usual scent from Park Avenue. There was no going back it instantly slipped into my shopping cart. Even though I like Beautiful Perfumed Body Spray a lot but since summer is not far away what’s wrong in stocking up fresh fragrances. About Park Avenue Freshness Deodorant Celeb Park Avenue claims that this is an innovative “freshness lock” for the 21st century women. This innovative technology ensures that the body ordure is overpowered for minimum of 8 hours giving you a fresh feeling all day long. The deodorant comes in 6 enchanting fragrances. “Celeb” defines the outgoing facet of you. The deodorant contains a blend of mouget-rose giving the top floral note while finally settles down in a woody-powdery fragrance. Price Rs. 180 for 100gm/135ml. Buy here at discounted price. Ingredient Ethyl Alcohol, Propellent, Perfume, Aqua, Isopropyl Myristate, Cyclomethicone, Diethyl Phthalate, Triclosan. Packaging The deodorant comes in a vibrant packaging. It comes in an aluminium bright blue & pink coloured bottle with graphics of a girl on her cell phone. I found the packaging attractive and really bold. This surely is well thought for the tag “Celeb”. It surely defines the outgoing facet of woman. The bottle is quite tall hence is not that travel friendly. There is also a transparent cap on the pump provided at the top. Variants Lively, Chic, Empower, Diva, Bounce & Celeb. Fragrance – Celeb The overall notes of the deodorant are flowery plus woody. I surely can smell faint hints of rose when I spray it on my skin but nothing obvious. After a while the deodorant settles into a mix of powdery & woody scents. The scent is very catchy and cheers up my mood. I like how it is not overly flowery or sweet rather has a woody element which is more close to my liking. Longevity The smell is not strong neither mild hence the staying power of the deodorant is average. I like how I smell for the first 3-4 hours, but later on the smell poofs away leaving hints of an unknown scent behind. I wish the deodorant could stay for long hours. If I spray the deodorant on my clothes the scent stays for few more hours. Likes A blend of flowery & woody scent. Attractive packaging. Affordable. Lingers for 3-4 hours. Easily available. Comes in 6 enchanting fragrances. Dislikes 8 hours freshness claim is false. Summary I like the perfect blend of flowery & woody elements that this deodorant has. Even though the staying power of this deodorant is just average, I would like to try out more variants from this range. Eva All Day Freshness Deodorants – Glee & Sweet : Review

Eva launched few new ranges some time back. I got two deodorants from Peppy Fruity & Woody Bouquet ranges of Eva Deodorants .I am a fan of woody fragrances. Utterly sweet fragrances are not my thing. But a mix of woody and sweet smell is always mysterious and addictive. I also admire the Wild & Whitening version of Eva deodorants. About Eva All Day Freshness Deodorants Eva have introduced non alcoholic range of deodorants, so the deodorants are gentle on skin. The brand claims to balance the skin’s pH level with each spray which prevents the formation of odour-causing bacteria. It contains triclosan as an anti bacterial agent which fights bacteria created by sweat. It also moisturises skin keeping it soft and smooth while keeping you fresh all day long. Price Rs. 130. Buy here. Ingredients Butane, Isobutane, Propane, Silicon Fluid, Fragrance, Isopropyl Myristate, Triethyl Citrate, Triaclosan, Butylated Hydroxytoluene. Packaging There has been a signature packaging for all the Eva deos, just differing in the colour of the bottle. They come in opaque coloured bottles with transparent cap over the pump at the top. Eva Sweet, comes in a coral coloured packaging while Eva Glee comes in dark purple/lavender coloured packaging. On each bottle, “eva” is printed vertically in white bold letters with all other information. I personally think the logo of Eva is too sluggish and looks flimsy. Eva SWEET As the name of the variant suggests, it is sweet but not utterly sweet fragrance. This is from the Woody Bouquet range of Eva Deo. The fragrance is a combination of Woody and Sweet elements. The top notes of the deodorants are sweet but the bottom notes are completely woody. I totally heart woody smells and that’s what I like about this deo too, the woody afternotes. Eva GLEE Glee is little offbeat. It is powdery sweet smell. Sometimes I smell peppermint in this fragrance, which is totally unconventional for my taste. Glee is actually from Peppy Fruity range. Maybe that is why there is little minty flavour and even minty freshness. I think this variant is more suitable for next summer season. Longevity All of the Deos from Eva have always performed decently for me. When I use these deodorants on my skin directly, the fragrance stays for 5-6 hours. But I mostly spray a deodorant on my clothes only. So the fragrance stays till evening. During Summer, when there is a chance of heavy sweating, I spray the deodorant on my skin as well as on my clothes. Likes Non alcoholic. Gentle on skin. Balances skin’s pH level. The fragrances are girlish but not utterly sweet. A wide range of fragrances available. The deodorants are affordable & easily available. The staying power of the deodorants, despite of being gentle, is good. Dislikes Most of the fragrances are alike. I personally do not like the packaging. Summary: Eva is popular among college going girls since it is affordable and there is wide range of fragrances. There is also a pen size packaging available to be carried in your purse to be used anytime , anywhere. Beautiful Perfumed Body Spray : Review

I am not fond of strong smells. I also do not like the ultimate sweet or fruity smells. I like flowery sweet smells. Beautiful Perfumed Spray is not any flowery deodorant, but somehow I still like the mild yet masculine smell that it has. I have been using this deodorant from more than 5 years now, on and off. It has been able to make a permanent stay in my kitty due to the unique smell and it’s attractive packaging. It is not widely available, I generally buy it from a general store in Gurgaon whenever I go to meet my parents. I have also started spotting it online on Amazon and few other shopping websites recently. About Beautiful Perfumed Body Spray A gentle, effective deodorant and truly masculine combine to leave you feeling refreshed, revitalised and confident. Even the company states that the deodorant has some masculine factor to it. I think they got it right. I have a liking for men’s perfumes and body sprays, many women do. Adding a little masculine element to a woman’s fragrance make it more catchy. The smell also stays for longer with strong such strong notes. Price Rs. 170 for 200ml Ingredients Packaging I quite like the pink gradient packaging that the body spray comes in. The bottle is sturdy, but I don’t like to travel with it since it is a 200ml bottle. I have not spotted a smaller size. My Views As I already mentioned that it is not a regular feminine smell. Don’t expect to smell fruity sweet after wearing it. It is different, little stronger than the common women deodorants. The top notes make you feel like you are smelling high notch woody fragrance, but the bottom notes are little powdery-sweet. The smell is gentle and mild. It does not irritate my nose as Fogg Fragrant Deodorant does. I like the fact that the smell stays the same even after wearing it for hours. It does not fade away as the day proceeds. I have tested the body spray in summers and winters. I do not sweat profusely but summers need a good deodorant to keep and stay fresh all day long. This deodorant stays with me. I have not tried but also have not spotted this deodorant in my locality or departmental stores. I do not like this fact that it is not easily available. Since it lasts long, I do not need to buy it every now and then. I still would like to be it available easily. If you are aware I just finished it last month. Also the bottle is not travel friendly. I have asked the retailer to get me a smaller sized bottle of this deodorant, but he said, this is the only size it comes in. I can’t carry it around in my handbag. Or whenever I go for some trips out station I need a special space for this in my language. Except Eva, I think, every brand provides single sized deodorant. Correct me if I am wrong. Likes Unique fragrance. A mix of woody and sweet. Just perfect blend of masculine and feminine smells. The smell is little masculine but mild and gentle to be worn by women. The smell stays with you all day long. Beautiful and sturdy packaging. I do not know why, but I keep on dropping it and it is wounded from so many places. One bottle lasts me for 2-3 months. Affordable. Dislikes Not easily available. Have spotted it online, but not that widely. It comes in a single 200ml packaging which is not travel friendly. Summary : 4.5/5 A blend of masculine and feminine smells into a mild and gentle formula gives me all day long protection from odour. It is affordable but not widely available. I am also a fond of Nivea Whitening Skin Smooth Deodorant. Signing off with love.

Nivea Whitening Smooth Skin Deodorant : Review

Hi, today am going to review an amazing product from Nivea. I was never a fond of roll-on deodorants, until I met this white doll. You can’t share a roll-on deodorant, as you can do with spray type deodorants. Plus a roll on (mostly containing alcohol) is directly applied to your bare skin, which I never liked. Almost every deodorant contains some part of alcohol, I don’t want any harmful chemical to touch my skin and damage it. I spray deodorant on my clothes. How I stumbled upon this deodorant? I was browsing through the deodorant section at a super market last year, when I saw these cute little white bottles from Nivea. I smelled one of them, and I liked what I inhaled. I grabbed Nivea Whitening Smooth Skin Deodorant. Nivea Claims: Visibly even toned & smoother underarms. 48 hours reliable protection from body odour. Feminine long lasting fragrance. Skin tolerance, dermatologically proven. Contains Vitamin C & Avocado extracts. Price: You get 50ml for Rs.185. Availability: Available online & offline at discounted prices. Ingredients: Aqua Aluminium Chloro hydrate, PPG-15 Stearyl Ether, Steareth-21, Parfum, GlycyrrhizaGlabra Root Extract, Hydrolyzed Pearl, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Persea Gratissima Oil, Glycerin, Trisodium EDTA. Packaging: It comes in a a semi transparent glass bottle with a crew on white cap. Texture Colour & Smell: Its smooth transparent gel with very mild and sweet fruity smell. My Views: I bought it because, I have something for mild & sweet smells. I can’t bear the overwhelming strong smelling deodorants. It is so mild that you will notice the smell only if you raise your arm to smell it. The consistency is non sticky & dries off quickly within few seconds. Coming to the Nivea’s claim of whitening part, it brightens the under arm area by at max 2 shades depending upon the discoloration. I notice my under arm area is visible bright after I use it continuously for 2-3 days. If I stop using it, the brightness goes away. The smoothing part- I don’t have bumpy underarms. My underarm skin is already quite smooth. But it definitely add like a little invisible layer of smoothness. Now the bad part- the smell goes away just in 2-4 hours. Since I use another spray-on deodorant, if I go out, I don’t mind using it while am still at home. Likes: The smell will please sensitive noses. Non sticky formula, which dries off/absorbs within few seconds. Makes the under arm area brighter. Also smoothens the under arm area to some extent. Beautiful and sleek packaging. Even though it’s glass bottle but it’s small enough for travels too. Dislikes: Since the smell is mild it does not last for long. This can’t work as a regular deodorant. If you sweat profoundly, this is not your deodorant. Pricey. Also it vanishes from the bottle away way to soon than the spray on deodorant. You can not share this type of deodorant with any body else for hygiene reasons. Rating: 4/5 Final Words: If you want little brighter & smoother underarms, you should definitely try this. Quick Tip: Prolong use of shaving creams & razor is harsh on the fragile skin of your underarms. This may lead to dark and bumpy under arm area. Try to get your under arms waxed. since it takes away the dead skin, leaving your under arm area cleaner & smoother. Till next time, Stay High, Stay Fab.
