I got this concealer few months back in one of my Fab Bag. When I first saw the shade, I threw it in of-no-use bin. But somehow I managed to use it. How? You will know very shortly. Shade This concealer is available in 3 shades: Light Beige Ginger Biscuit Fab bag shipped me this concealer in the shade Biscuit. It’s an orange shade. Texture & Smell The concealer is smooth textured and spreads smoothly but does not give high coverage. Smell is chemically but you won’t notice it until you sniff into the tube. My Views I have a basket which I use to store those products which are of no use to me. I threw this concealer too in that basket because it was way too orange-y and dark for my skin tone. My current favourite concealer is Maybelline Fit Me in Sand Sable, which is a little light on my skin tone. My under eye dark circles some time look grey after using this concealer. I realised I should use a corrector before putting on a foundation or a regular concealer. Lollipops Concealer in Biscuit, serves as an orange corrector. I lightly dab this orange concealer around my eyes and than put on a regular concealer or foundation over it. And my under eye area is no more greyish. Coming to the blend-ablity, I don’t find any issue. I dab it in place of rubbing it. The texture is smooth and runny. I can layer it on. Pigmentation is not that much impressive. But since it’s texture is nice, I can build up the coverage. Also since another concealeror foundation go on top of it, pigmentation builds up automatically. Staying power of this concealer, I have not tested, because I cant wear it alone since it’s dark on my skin tone. But whenever I have worn this as a corrector, I didn’t find any smudges or patches. The top layer of concealer/foundation stay put. This orange concealer does not hamper the performance of other products used. Another weird thing about this concealer is that I feel little burning sensation upon applying it. This is a big negative point according to me. Makeup should never give sensation to skin. Overall, I am able to use it and it’s just not lying around. I would not suggest you to buy it, I would rather go for an actual orange corrector instead. Likes Works as an Orange Corrector for under eye area. Texture is smooth and runny. Coverage is buildable. Can be worn under other concealer/foundation. Does not hamper the performance of other makeup. Affordable since it’s on discount. Dislikes Gives burning sensation upon application. Wrong shade for my skin tone. Fab bag should consider skin tone of the user while shipping makeup products. It’s in their database, if I am not wrong. Limited shades available. Pigmentation is not impressive. Summary : 3/5 In case you have got this via Fab Bag, use it as a spot correction. I won’t suggest buying it ever since it won’t serve the purpose of being a nice concealer. Hey girls, do you use concealer? I have always think of a concealer as an extra step. I normally use high coverage foundations so that I don’t have to use a separate concealer. On skin happy days, when I don’t have much imperfections, I don’t wear a foundation. On those days I need a concealer to touch up here or there. I got this Maybelline Fit Me Concealer as I had great experience with the Fit Me Foundation. I mostly use this concealer for my under eye area, for concealing as well as for brightening. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer Claims: Skin looks perfected with this natural coverage concealer. This oil-free formula conceals redness, flaws, and blemishes. Matches all skin tones. Dermatologist tested. Ophthalmologist tested. Non-comedogenic. Fragrance-free. Price: Rs. 500 for 6.8ml. Availability: Available widely online and offline. Buy online. Packaging: Comes in a sleek tube with wand at the back. Travel friendly. Texture, Consistency & Smell: Creamy consistency which sets off in matte finish. Sets within few seconds. Smells funny. Shade I got: Sand Sable 20. This shade was advised by the SA which was attending me while I bought it. This shade would go on light to light medium skin tones with yellow undertones. It is little light for my wheatish skin tone. Can be used as a eye highlighter too. How To Use: Take some concealer at the back of your hand with the help of the wand provided with the concealer. Then apply on the spot/under eye area need to be corrected. Lightly dab on the concealer until it is evenly applied. A concealer must be dabbed on and not to be rubbed to get the desired result. Also Check Out: Maybelline Fit Me Poreless Foundation My Experience: I have used it while wearing a foundation as well as without wearing anything at all. It has fared well in both the situations. Its consistency is creamy but sets off in matte finish. There is no creasing when applied on my under eye area. Since the shade I got is little light, it does not look ashy but still lighter than my skin tone. So it basically works as an under eye highlighter too. So as I mentioned above, in the How To Use section, I dab on little product under my eyes or on some blemish I wish to conceal and then lightly pat on until it disperse on my skin completely. Coming to the coverage part, coverage could be built from medium to high. It covers spots easily. Being creamy in consistency, it blends into the skin very easily and quickly giving a matte finish. It looks natural. No white cast or ashy looking face. It is not water proof. If you splash water on to the concealer it won’t come off, but if you rub it little, it would come off easily. The staying power is decent. If worn alone it goes on for 4-5 hours. If worn over a foundation, it goes for longer hours. Better to wear a primer before wearing the concealer for better performance. Likes: Good Coverage. Nice Consistency. Sets off into matte finish quickly. Staying power is decent. This particular shade works as a highlighter too. No breakouts/ allergies noticed. Works well with foundations too. Gives natural finish, does not look cakey. Dislikes: Not water proof. Pricey for the quantity provided. Limited shades launched in India. Weird Smell. Final Words: 4/5 I have never found such an affordable yet effective concealer before. Love its consistency & coverage. Glad that I got this. I like how perfectly it blends into my yellow undertones.
