I hope SUGAR does not sue me for leaking this out 🙂 . I just got an email from SUGAR about early access to their new launch, SUGAR As Nude As It Gets SPF 15 Compact. I could not contain my excitement and thought I should let you guys know about this new product from SUGAR. I am a fan of SUGAR Cosmetics. Their products are awesome. Every single product, be it a lip color or eye liner, stands out among it’s competitors in the same range. Even I was wondering why SUGAR has not come up with face products, and here it is the very first product from the brand. I do not have any technical information about the product except the SPF factor that it states in the name. SUGAR has not started selling it yet on their website, but if you buy SUGAR products worth more than 1400 bucks, you can get one absolutely free, just right away. How cool is that? As far I know, the compact comes in 3 shades only as of now – 01 Latte – suitable for Porcelaine /Fair complexion 02 Cappuccino – suitable for Light Wheatish complexion 03 Macchiato – suitable for Wheatish to Dusky complexion Enjoy the only photographs of SUGAR As Nude As It Gets Compact, that SUGAR released… So, what I am going to do now? Just going to head on to Sugar & fill up my cart with some SUGAR Cubes,to get my hands on this compact.. 🙂 Yeah I am that crazy about new product launches. I just can’t help it. Hi girls. I was kind of busy today, so could not post. Also I was thinking about doing some fun post but nothing materialised. So I postponed it. I was postponing a review from quite a time, so am going ahead with the review now. Maybelline White Superfresh Compact, I got 2-3 months back. Lakmé Perfect Radiance Intense Whitening Compact is a permanent resident in my vanity, I still got the Maybelline one, to try it out and am really excited to share the review because, it’s wonderful. Maybelline White Superfresh 12HR Whitening Perfecting Compact – Shell Perlite: Natural mineral that lightens complexion Maybelline New York White Super Fresh Compact absorbs sweat and oil and keeps skin fresh for 12 Hrs!! Light fragrance Superior puff and packaging Price Available at Rs. 150. Buy at discount from Amazon.in Shades Pearl – Contains Pink tone, will suit fair skin tones. Shell- Contains Yellow undertones, suitable for medium skin tones. Coral- Suitable for Dark complexion. I got Shell, which is suitable for wheatish skin tones. Texture & Smell This is a very fine powdered compact, which gives very nice and even finish. The smell is almost non existent. Packaging Comes in a white sleek round container with a mirror and sponge applicator. My Skin Type I have oily, acne prone & sensitive skin. My Experience Foundations are not an everyday thing until your job demands it. a compact is an easy way to get some coverage, even tone without any heavy feeling. But not every compact can give a natural finish. I hate the cakey looks that most of the compacts give. But Maybelline Super Fresh Compact is different. It does not give cakey look at all. The shade, Shell is a perfect match for my skin tone, maybe that’s why it just gets invisible on my skin while giving a smooth and natural finish. The texture is super fine, so it goes on skin very smoothely. even though I have oily skin, I need to moisturise my skin well when I put this on. Otherwise sometimes, I see some dry patches on my skin. It controls oil for 2-3 hours, which is not very impressive, I need to touch up for freshness. It does brighten my face, which is a plus point of this compact. The brightening effect is not whitening, but very natural radiance. It just feels like my own skin is much more clear and vibrant. While I never had such an experience with Lakme Perfect Radiance or Maybelline Clearglow All In One Fairness Compact. It evens out skin tone but there but it does not provide much coverage. It cannot totally replace foundation since I have acne scars on my face. Likes Super Fine texture. Gives natural finish. Evens out skin tone. Face looks bright and fresh whole day long. Does not look cakey even if applied 2-3 times for touch ups. Does not break out my skin. Can be used as a setting powder. Very affordable Easily Available. Travel friendly packaging. Comes with a mirror. This perticular shade is a very close to my skin tone. Dislikes Very limited shades. Sometimes it gives me dry patches. Don’t expect much coverage out of it. Summary : 4/5 It is a very affordable, fine textured compact which gives natural finish and brightens complexion. Suitable for all skin types, just don’t forget to wear a moisturiser before using it. My Budget Makeup Essentials

It’s going to be a quick post about the makeup products I use mostly everyday. All the products are budget products, easily available. Suit my and skin tone & type. I started wearing the Pond’s BB Cream about 3 years ago, and since then, it’s been with me. I like the natural finish it gives to my skin. Unlike Lakme’s CC cream, it does not give any white cast. Maybelline’s Super Fresh Compact is new addition to my vanity, but is really promising. Before this I used to wear Lakme 9 to 5 compact. I will review these two very soon. On good skin days, I like to wear some blush. Mostly it’s cheeky Glow, but winters are good to fluent creamy blushes too. City Color Cheeky Stain is a warm toned cream blush which I mostly prefer because of it’s natural finish. Cover Girl Lip Gloss was another budget find incidentally. It’s very beautiful every day wear shade. L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique, was unintentional buy, but proved to be a good buy. Will try to review it soon. I don’t like high drama mascaras for daily wear. Maybelline’s The Falsies gives very natural looking eye lashes. I don’t know why but I am just so in love with this eye palette from Makeup Revolution. It has got versatile colors to give you awesome looks for day and night. I am just short on time today, otherwise would have added more stuff to the post. Gotta run some errands before the day ends.
