Hey Lipstick Lover. High On Gloss is getting a lot of hits for affordable lipsticks. Right now I have two lipsticks from Coloressence which are nice in performance & are quite affordable too. So I am going to review Coloressence Moisturizing Lip Color in Fuchsia Glame 40 & Nectar 72. Coloressence is itself quite an affordable brand but it does not mean that it compromises in terms of quality. Coloressence makeup range is impressive in terms of longevity too. The product range is also multiplying. Coming to the lipsticks, Fuchsia Glame is a Fucshia shade with red undertones, while Nectar 72 is a beautiful nude shade with peach undertones. Both the shades has warm undertones, hence these shades are suitable on Indian skin tones. With rain pouring outside my window let me take you on a journey of beautiful lipstick shades. Stay with me. Coloressence Moisturizing Lip Color Coloressence revamped this range and came with improved formula. Coloressence moisturizing lipsticks are creamy and offers moisture to dry & chapped lips. Without accentuating fine lines, these lipsticks, deliver rich color to lips. The formula is enriched with Jojoba Oil & Almond Oil. The lipsticks are tested for hypoallergic reactions. The lipsticks are 100% vegetarian. Key Ingredients: Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Almond Oil, Pigments. Price: INR 199 for 4g. Buy here. Packaging I really like the improved packaging of the lipstick. It is more stylish and sturdy as compared to the original version. The lipsticks look really classy and luxe while they are so cheap. The outer packaging is same, a black card box, but the bullet is enclosed in a silver and glossy black case. While earlier the packaging was matte black. I can feel the improved quality of the packaging. Coloressence Moisturizing Lip Color – Fuchsia Glame 40 Fuchsia is a beautiful rich shade. Coloressence intensified Fuchsia by adding hints of red to the shade. Fuchsia Glame reminds me of NYX Round Lipstick. Fuchsia Glame is suitable for special occasions or where you just want to add color to your face on the go. This shade is also suitable for light, fair, medium & wheatish skin tones. Dusky beauties can also carry it off easily since it has warm undertones. Coloressence Moisturizing Lip Color – Nectar 72 Here comes my one of the most favorite Peach Nude. It’s a subtle shade to prettify your no-makeup looks. You can wear it in office/college. It’s wearable even for every Indian skin tones. Texture & Pigmentation The texture is soft, creamy but it does not melt as some of the other creamy lipsticks do. It moisturizes lips beautifully, so you don’t have to wear a lip balm. The lipsticks do not accentuate fine lines. There is no weird taste to the lipsticks. I really hate Lakme Enrich range for such bad taste though. It literally taste like a rotten metal. Pigmentation wise, the color pay off is nice, but I feel 2-3 swipes do the job well. I can never settle for one swipe, be it any lipstick. The pigmentation is rich and quite smooth. Light shades too offer nice color per swipe. Glossy Or Matte? Finish Of Coloressence Moisturizing Lipsticks The finish of the lipsticks is pearly. They are not glossy, but are not completely matte. You can blot the shine away if you want to as I do. For How Long Do Coloressence Moisturizing Lipsticks Stay? Longevity? These are quite affordable lipsticks, and you can expect the wear upto 3 hours. After that The lipsticks starts to fade away. First the sheen will be lost and then the color. But the color does not go away completely, you can notice subtle color on the lips even after 3 hours. At 199, Coloressence Moisturizing Lipsticks are a steal because of the color and finish they offer. The staying power is also not bad. If you are a college goer or tight on budget, you can surely check out this range. Fuchsia Glame & Nectar are two incredibly beautiful shades, for sure. Most Affordable Dupe | ADS Balm Voyage With 16 Eye Shadow & 3 Lip Colors Review

Hi Girls, Do you feel a thrill when you find a dupe of a famous and costly makeup product? I know you do. Well, I was pretty thrilled upon finding a dupe of The Balm Voyage which costs about $22. ADS Balm Voyage which is an eye plus lip palette. It consists 16 eye shadows and 3 lip colors on the other hand costs only INR 249. The eye shadow shades are exactly like The Balm palette. So now you can experience the balm eye makeup looks within 249 bucks. Even the packaging is same. There are various other versions of the palette too. But I chose this one as it consists of lots of beautiful shades. I have never bought any eye palette from The Balm. I am not sure what kind of performance is to be expected from this high end brand. But after creating multiple eye looks with ADS The Balm Voyage Eye Palette, I think it’s no lesser than any high end brand. Let me share my experience with the product. ADS Balm Voyage With 16 Eye Shadow & 3 Lip Colors Ingredients Price & Availability This is a highly affordable dupe of The Balm Voyage. It is available only at INR 249 consisting of 16 eye shadow colors and 3 lip colors. You can buy it online as well as offline at makeup stores. Find it over Amazon here. There are various variants available in the series costing as low as INR 175. ADS Balm Voyage Shades The palette has beautiful shades. The shades are similar to that of the original palette. The shades have been marked alphanumerically. Also the eye shadows has been placed nicely and in a clean way copying the balm palette. Let’s have a look over the shades: A1 : This is a shimmery light peach brown shade. It is nice wear for day to night looks. B1 : This is a cream colored matte shade. It can be used to create base for eye shadow. Also it can brighten up inner corners of eyes. C1: This is an off white shade but is matte in texture. D1: A beautiful mango shade. I have worn it many times. It looks beautiful. A2: This is a shimmery purple shade. Very wearable for night outs. B2: A beautiful and another favorite of mine, mint shade. It too has got bit of shimmer. C2: This is a dark green shade. It is matte. D2: A very gorgeous rose gold shade which is obviously shimmery. A3: An absolute white shimmery shade. Looks beautiful on eyes. Can also be used as highlighter. B3: A pure matte grey shade. C3: This is matte brown shade. It goes nude on eyes. Can be used as an eye shadow base before using other shades. D3: An authentic golden shade. Very gorgeous shade. A4: Black Shimmery shade. For those ultra smokey eyes, this shade goes perfectly on my eyes. B4: This is a dark brown shimmery shade. This shade also looks very beautiful in smokey eye looks. C4: The entire upper line contains shimmery dark shades apt for smokey eye looks. D4: This is another dark shimmery shade – an Olive shade. Lip Shades: All the shades of the lip palette are creamy and have bit of sheen. The shades are bit similar to each other. First Officer: A dark pink shade. Second Officer: A brownish- peach shade. It is the n*de buddy of the team. Captain: The red shade of the palette. My Experience With ADS The Balm Voyage Eye Palette The eye shadows of the palette are fine textured. They are easy to take on an eye shadow brush tip and easy to be applied. They blend easily without any major fallout. Every eye shadow is pigmented nicely. The light shades might require 2-3 swipes while the dark shades give nice color even with single swipe. The longevity of the eye shadows is very impressive. I have worn the dark shade for entire days while the light shades too stays for about 5-6 hours. The palette has not been compromised in terms of quality. The lip shades are average in terms of longevity though, They stay on lips for an average of 2 hours. I really like using this palette as it is versatile and it can be used to achieve day-night as well as casual & festive eye looks. The palette is quite big but would fit in your travel bag for sure. It is a must have for me. I can use it to create simple as well as dramatic eye looks. ADS The Balm Voyage Eye & Lip Palette. The eye shadows are beautiful and blend easily giving perfect eye look. The eye shadows have minimal fallout while being affordable. I see no reason you should not have this palette in your dresser. Hope you liked the review. It’s going to be a quick post about the makeup products I use mostly everyday. All the products are budget products, easily available. Suit my and skin tone & type. I started wearing the Pond’s BB Cream about 3 years ago, and since then, it’s been with me. I like the natural finish it gives to my skin. Unlike Lakme’s CC cream, it does not give any white cast. Maybelline’s Super Fresh Compact is new addition to my vanity, but is really promising. Before this I used to wear Lakme 9 to 5 compact. I will review these two very soon. On good skin days, I like to wear some blush. Mostly it’s cheeky Glow, but winters are good to fluent creamy blushes too. City Color Cheeky Stain is a warm toned cream blush which I mostly prefer because of it’s natural finish. Cover Girl Lip Gloss was another budget find incidentally. It’s very beautiful every day wear shade. L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique, was unintentional buy, but proved to be a good buy. Will try to review it soon. I don’t like high drama mascaras for daily wear. Maybelline’s The Falsies gives very natural looking eye lashes. I don’t know why but I am just so in love with this eye palette from Makeup Revolution. It has got versatile colors to give you awesome looks for day and night. I am just short on time today, otherwise would have added more stuff to the post. Gotta run some errands before the day ends.
