Hey Lipstick Lover. High On Gloss is getting a lot of hits for affordable lipsticks. Right now I have two lipsticks from Coloressence which are nice in performance & are quite affordable too. So I am going to review Coloressence Moisturizing Lip Color in Fuchsia Glame 40 & Nectar 72. Coloressence is itself quite an affordable brand but it does not mean that it compromises in terms of quality. Coloressence makeup range is impressive in terms of longevity too. The product range is also multiplying. Coming to the lipsticks, Fuchsia Glame is a Fucshia shade with red undertones, while Nectar 72 is a beautiful nude shade with peach undertones. Both the shades has warm undertones, hence these shades are suitable on Indian skin tones. With rain pouring outside my window let me take you on a journey of beautiful lipstick shades. Stay with me. Coloressence Moisturizing Lip Color Coloressence revamped this range and came with improved formula. Coloressence moisturizing lipsticks are creamy and offers moisture to dry & chapped lips. Without accentuating fine lines, these lipsticks, deliver rich color to lips. The formula is enriched with Jojoba Oil & Almond Oil. The lipsticks are tested for hypoallergic reactions. The lipsticks are 100% vegetarian. Key Ingredients: Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Almond Oil, Pigments. Price: INR 199 for 4g. Buy here. Packaging I really like the improved packaging of the lipstick. It is more stylish and sturdy as compared to the original version. The lipsticks look really classy and luxe while they are so cheap. The outer packaging is same, a black card box, but the bullet is enclosed in a silver and glossy black case. While earlier the packaging was matte black. I can feel the improved quality of the packaging. Coloressence Moisturizing Lip Color – Fuchsia Glame 40 Fuchsia is a beautiful rich shade. Coloressence intensified Fuchsia by adding hints of red to the shade. Fuchsia Glame reminds me of NYX Round Lipstick. Fuchsia Glame is suitable for special occasions or where you just want to add color to your face on the go. This shade is also suitable for light, fair, medium & wheatish skin tones. Dusky beauties can also carry it off easily since it has warm undertones. Coloressence Moisturizing Lip Color – Nectar 72 Here comes my one of the most favorite Peach Nude. It’s a subtle shade to prettify your no-makeup looks. You can wear it in office/college. It’s wearable even for every Indian skin tones. Texture & Pigmentation The texture is soft, creamy but it does not melt as some of the other creamy lipsticks do. It moisturizes lips beautifully, so you don’t have to wear a lip balm. The lipsticks do not accentuate fine lines. There is no weird taste to the lipsticks. I really hate Lakme Enrich range for such bad taste though. It literally taste like a rotten metal. Pigmentation wise, the color pay off is nice, but I feel 2-3 swipes do the job well. I can never settle for one swipe, be it any lipstick. The pigmentation is rich and quite smooth. Light shades too offer nice color per swipe. Glossy Or Matte? Finish Of Coloressence Moisturizing Lipsticks The finish of the lipsticks is pearly. They are not glossy, but are not completely matte. You can blot the shine away if you want to as I do. For How Long Do Coloressence Moisturizing Lipsticks Stay? Longevity? These are quite affordable lipsticks, and you can expect the wear upto 3 hours. After that The lipsticks starts to fade away. First the sheen will be lost and then the color. But the color does not go away completely, you can notice subtle color on the lips even after 3 hours. At 199, Coloressence Moisturizing Lipsticks are a steal because of the color and finish they offer. The staying power is also not bad. If you are a college goer or tight on budget, you can surely check out this range. Fuchsia Glame & Nectar are two incredibly beautiful shades, for sure. Since everyone is so raving about these budget-friendly small little crayon lipsticks, I too hunted them down. I found the colors a little repetitive, hence I did not buy them all and rather bought few bold shades. Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon is the newest range from Lakme, which made us, the bloggers, go smitten over these literally-crayon-looking lipsticks under 200 bucks. Click here Today I am going to review & swatch Candid Coral from Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon range for you. I could have swatched & reviewed them all in one post, but I am a bit short on time & I won’t be able to enjoy it while doing it. Hence I chose the best shade (according to me) from the range. Coral Candid is one of the best coral lipstick for Indian skin tone which I have come across. It has many hues to it, hence it will delight you at many levels. I shall talk about this feature of the shade in detail later. Let’s start with the basics. About Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon Lakme presents a range of crayon lipsticks to give you a smooth & matte finish over your lips in vibrant colors. The Lip Crayons are enriched with mineral powders, Olive Oil & Jojoba Oil to moisturize your lips simultaneously. The lip crayons come in 10 vibrant shades so that you can dazzle at every occasion. Price Rs. 185 for 2.2g. Buy at Amazon. Ingredients No ingredient list is provided. Packaging The lip crayon literally looks like a colored crayon that we used to use in our school time. I have used a lot of crayon lipsticks from different brands, but Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon literally depicts being a crayon in packaging. Lipstick range i.e.” Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon” and shade name “03 Candid Coral” is printed on the lip crayon along with some manufacturing information. The crayon has a black cap over its mouth. The packaging is kind of flimsy, according to me. Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon Shades Lakme has followed the bold lip trend of the year 2017, hence presented 10 bold shades in the range. So pick one or all of them to suit your mood every single day. Baby Pink, Berry Red, Blushing Pink, Coral Candid, Cinnamon Brown, Mauve Magic, Peach Magnet, Pink Burst, Red Stop, Shocking Pink. Reviewed & Swatched: 7 Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon Shades Shade Description – Coral Candid This is my most favorite from the Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon range. As I mentioned earlier, the shade has many hues. That is the reason despite being coral it will suit every skin tone. The shade has Peach undertones & outburst of Orange, which makes it really exotic. One swipe brings a beautiful peachy coral shade on lips while 2 more swipes give a full-throttle orange. The peach undertones help the orange color to keep it’s calm & do not let it wash out your complexion which might happen with pure Orange shades. Fragrance & Texture The crayon lipstick has a very mild sweet scent, noticeable only if you want to smell it. There is no weird taste. Like SUGAR Lip Crayons has a powdery taste to them. The texture of the lip crayons is impressively creamy. The packaging is flimsy but the product inside is a high-quality lipstick. A bullet is full of color & moisture. I do not need to wear a lip balm beneath this matte lipstick since it is really good in moisturizing my lips on its own. Pigmentation The pigmentation of the lip crayon is good. The first swipe gives opaque finish even to pigmented lips but 2 swipes ensure the true color to show on the lips. When the lipstick is creamy, you anyway can go overboard to soak in some moisture into your lips. Finish Even though the texture is creamy & there is a bit of a shine on to the lips if you look closely, but the overall finish is complete matte. Not the uncomfortable kind of matte, but a beautiful, nourished matte. Longevity Creamy textures do have a tendency to transfer. Even SUGAR Lip Crayons which perform very good in terms of longevity does transfer in the first hour of application. Lakme Enrich Lip Crayons would transfer to the coffee cup if you sip some coffee while wearing it. This lip crayon does not have the ability to survive meals in between, little bit snacking can be done. You need to retouch after having a full-fledged meal which is not of a big con to me as 185 bucks are justified with the quality of the product. Likes Beautiful & bold shades in the range. Creamy & moisturizing formula. Olive Oil & Jojoba Oil, present in the crayon, moisturize your lips. Does not accentuate fine lines. Beautiful matte finish. The shade Candid Coral is suitable for all skin tones. After sharpening, it can be used as a lip liner too. Ships with a dual sharpener. Easily available. Very affordable. So small to fit in the palm of your hand. Dislikes Need to sharpen the lip crayon after 2-3 uses. Few colors are repetitive. Summary If you do not mind retouch after having a meal, it is one of the best affordable lip color range from Lakme. The shades are bold & will flatter Indian skin tones (specially curated for Us 🙂 by Lakme). College going girls if you are bored of Elle 18, try these affordable & better performing lip crayons. The longest I have worn it for 3+ hours without retouch or having a meal. Lakme Enrich Matte Lipstick RM13 : Swatches & Review

Hello Girls, How you been? Friday is getting over and we are headed to the weekend. Just an awesome feeling.. no? Let’s hit the Friday eve with some color. I am going to review Lakme Enrich Matte Lipstick for you. This budget friendly lipstick has been around from a while & has comparable performance to Maybelline ColorShow Matte range. It has almost the same formula & pigmentation as that of the colorshow range from Maybelline. Let’s get to know this beauty more closely. About Lakme Enrich Matte Lipstick Say hello to creamy yet matte lipsticks from Lakme. The gorgeous shades are here to treat you with love. Lakme came up with matte colors that will suit Indian skin tones. The color is intense yet moisturizing on lips. Fluent the fabulous matte lips. Price Rs. 295 for 4.7gm. Buy here at discounted price. Ingredients No ingredients mentioned. Packaging The lipstick comes packaged in a silver colored metallic card box with Lakme Enrish Matte Lipstick printed on one side. On the other side, Lakme states what is so special about this lipstick. Ingredients list is not provided anywhere. The lipstick bullet too comes in a silver colored body with transparent cap on the bullet. At the bottom of the lipstick shade number is printed. The shade does not have any name which makes it difficult to remember a particular lipstick just by it’s shade no. One weird thing about the packaging is that, it takes a lot of effort to screw-in & screw-out the lipstick out of it’s shell. I mean it’s not that easy like other lipsticks. You really need to put in some effort. May be it’s just this lipstick. Taste, Texture & Smell The texture of this lipstick is creamy smooth. There is bit sheen to the texture. When I apply the lipstick to my lips, the sheen can be noticed on my lips too. Glides easily on lips due to creamy texture. The lipstick does not dry out my lips. The lipstick has the very peculiar old cosmetic smell which we used to have in cheap lipsticks many many years back. I did not like this utterly sweet smell. The lipstick also tastes soapy until, it is wiped off your lips entirely. Shade – RM 13 This is a shade from the Red Color Family. It is a nice bright red, which will suit all skin tones, be it light, medium or dusky. This year 2017, is particularly a year of bold shades as opposed to the previous year where the nude shades rocked the fashion world. This shade is very desirable. The lipstick looks more of maroon, but the shade goes quite red on lips. If I blot and re apply the shade, I can achieve a rust shade out of this lippie. Pigmentation The pigmentation of this lipstick is very good. One swipe gives beautiful intense color while another swipe just perfects the look. The pigmentation is intense because it is a bright shade. Such shades are relatively more pigmentation than the light shades. Finish It is a matte lipstick but do not expect an entirely matte finish out of it. It has bit sheen to it. The sheen is visible on lips too after application. It’s just the creamy texture that hinders the exact matte finish. What I do is, I bot away the sheen with a napkin. That’s how I get the desired matte lips out of this moisturizing lipstick. My Most Favorite Matte Lipstick? – SUGAR Cosmetics Matte AS Hell Longevity This lipstick stays on lips. The sheen is lost after an hour or so, if I do not blot it by myself. The color stays intact for more than 4 -5 hours surviving meals in between. The tint would not go away even after 4-5 hours, until I wipe it off. I wipe it off after 4-5 hours, since, it starts to get little patchy which is not that pleasant to look at. I really admire the staying power of this lipstick. Summary : 4/5 Except the taste & smell, I think the lipstick is quite a grab for the price you pay. It’s moisturizing, pigmented & stays for long on lips. The shades offered by Lakme are very good too. It’s among the best budget buy, if you ask me. I am looking forward to buy the newly launched Argan Oil lipsticks from Lakme, just not able to decide on the shades. Any help? Love.

Hello, Gorgeous Girls. I am back with another lipstick review. I got this lipstick in my recent Fab Bag. This is a new brand to me. I never heard about the brand- Seduction Las Vegas (SLV), before Fab Bag introduced it to me. I was not impressed with the packaging though. But seeing a brand new lipstick, I could not hold back for long. I opened the packaging & applied it on my lips. Let me tell you how was my experience with this lipstick. About Seduction Las Vegas Lipstick Seduction Las Vegas is famous for it’s nail colors. Now it’s bringing it’s lipstick range too. Seduction Las Vegas Lipsticks are highly pigmented & creamy textured, while giving moisture to your lips for smooth & semi matte finish. The lipsticks are Vitamin E enriched. Price The lipsticks are very easy on pocket. Priced at Rs. 180. The packaging is very matte. The packaging looks little flimsy. Shade – Nude Love 06 I have been hoarding a lot of bold colors. Fab Bag asked me to choose my shade for this lipstick range, I went for Nude Love. I have a secret crush for nude lippies. I am glad, I chose this shade. It is peachy brown shade, my type of nude. Even though the finish is semi matte, I can make it look totally matte by blotting it with a tissue if I want. But I do not blot it right away since it loses it’s glossiness after a hour or so. And after that my lips look more beautiful with peachy brown tint on my lips. Texture The texture of this lipstick is very creamy & smooth. I like how it feels on my lips. It does not feel waxy. The quality is good. The brand claims that it is enriched with Vitamin E, which I think is a plus point. This surely moisturizes my lips instead of drying them. Pigmentation The pigmentation of this lipstick is decent. It gives nice color pay off. The color shows well even on pigmented lips. The color can be built further on without making lips looking patchy. I apply at max 2 coats for perfect color on my lips. Finish The finish of this lipstick is semi matte. There is no utterly glossiness, but a bit of sheen is present. I generally prefer matte lipsticks. I blot my glossy lipsticks. I mostly wear it as it is since it loses its glossiness within an hour. Longevity Even though it loses it’s glossiness within an hour but it never loses it’s color. It provides nice tint to lips which stays for 3-4 hours on my lips. This totally works for me. I can have in between meals and still flaunt tinted lips. How cool is that? Likes Moisturizing on lips. Beautiful shade- Nude Love. Very very affordable. Lasts for 3-4 hours. Dislikes Flimsy packaging. Loses sheen after an hour. (not a con for me) Summary : ❤❤❤❤ This is a new range of lipsticks which are highly affordable but with quality product. The shade Nude Love, from SLV, is very nice peachy brown shade, makes a perfect nude color. The lipstick is moisturizing and enriched with Vitamin E. Would like to try more shades from this range.
