Face Contouring is no more a fancy term and most of us are very familiar with face contouring powder, bronzer & highlighters. A bronzer is kind of a multi purpose product. It can be used to contour face as well as to flaunt a fake tan. My full face can be toned down beautifully by using a contouring product. NYX Sculpt & Highlight Face Duo and Sivanna Blush Contour Highlighter Bronzer Kit are among my most used products. Makeup Studio Professional Bronzing Powder Lumiere is the latest addition to my kitty. And here is my experience with this bronzer which I use as a contouring powder. You want to contour your face, you can use it under your cheek bones, if you wan to use it as a bronzer, use it over your cheekbones. Shimmery Bronzer: A bronzer is generally considered to be shimmery. But it could be a lot sometimes, unless you are getting photographed where the shimmery effect looks very gorgeous. Makeup Studio Professional Bronzing Powder Lumiere 02 I received Makeup Studio Professional Bronzing Powder Lumiere in shade 02. It’s a very warm peachy- earthy shade. It’s a beautiful mix of brown and orange. The final finish is peachy. It looks very natural on warm skin tones. This is a matte bronzer. Hence it could be used for contouring. Fragrance & Texture Makeup Studio Professional Bronzing Powder Lumiere is a very fine powder. It is packed as a compact and could be picked up with a brush easily. There are almost no fall outs. Pigmentation wise, the bronzing powder is very much pigmented and hence you need very less product to get a nice bronzed up look. I would suggest to start with a very less product and then build up the pigmentation as much as you want. Because for every skin tone, the amount of product varies. Makeup Studio Professional Bronzing Powder Lumiere Finish & Staying Power The bronzer gives a powdery yet natural finish. The finish is very subtle and looks beautiful on my wheatish skin. The peachy color any way suits my skin tone. I use it to contour my chubby cheeks and my fat nose. I start applying pinch of the bronzer and blend it across. In case I feel like I need more, I apply some more. Blending is the key though. The more I blend the product, the more natural finish I get. Staying power of Makeup Studio Professional Bronzing Powder Lumiere is very impressive. I have worn it full day running through an event. It does not melt or fade away leaving behind patches. And that’s where the performance counts. Oily skinned girls are very conscious if their makeup is going to stay and that’s why we go for long staying makeup. On a side note, touch-ups are not my thing. Touching up lipstick is something else while touching up your base makeup or contouring is a whole new level. I can end up messing it on the run, hence I never take into account touching it up. I would rather clean it completely and then start over. The finish is very natural and suits even warm skin tones. The finish and staying power of the bronzer is good. The price of the product is very high and while there are several other options in the market on a quarter of that price. Except the price range, every thing else is a impressive. The 4 pigments are fixed inside the cardboard in 4 round slots. There is a see through flap on the cardboard so that you can see the shades inside. The kit is enclosed in a similar carton. Sivanna Blush Contour Highlighter Bronzer Kit – The Coral Blush The very first pigment in the kit is a coral-ish blush, which goes very well on every skin tone. Specially on my wheatish skin tone, it is the best shade in terms of blush. This blush from the kit is amazingly pigmented. The texture of the blush is fine and does not look unnatural. It gives a natural hue to my skin. Sivanna Blush Contour Highlighter Bronzer Kit – The Pink Blush Natural flush is all we want. Pinkish glow is all we desire. The Pink shade of the kit is beautiful. The texture of the shade is very fine and goes effortlessly under the cheeks or wherever you want to have a contouring effect. The pigmentation of the highlighter is bit lower than the rest of the pigments. But the pigmentation is build able and can be worked upon as you desire. Fragrance & Texture The kit is slightly perfumed. I can notice it only if I sniff into the kit closely. All the pigments of the kit are powder based. The powders are fine in texture and there is almost no fall out. But they can be easily picked up and applied. The application is effort less. Pigmentation & Longevity As I mentioned above all the shades are nicely pigmented. The highlighter is shimmery and hence it is slightly less pigmented than the others so that you don’t go overboard with the very first swipe. The powders stays for nice 3-4 hours on my oily skin and then starts fading away. The natural looking matte finish is all we desire. Sivanna Blush Contour Highlighter Bronzer Kit is a beautiful all in one kit for a perfectly sculpted look. It suits wheatish skin the most. There are 4 variants in this kit hence every skin tone is satisfied. Every kit contains 2 blushes, a bronzer & a highlighter. The shades are nicely pigmented and gives a very natural matte finish.
