Hello Girls, I have been talking to other beautiful and talented beauty bloggers and I think you should get to know them too. #bloggerinterviewseries is such a series on High On Gloss to introduce all the amazing beauty bloggers to you. One of my dear friends asked me, “Ain’t you going to lose your reader to the bloggers that you interview on HOG?”. I said “I don’t think so. My motive behind introducing this interview series on HOG is to make my readers aware of all the beautiful & creative work that is available online. I want them to know why I follow these people.” I am sure you will appreciate this motive. Continuing this interview series, I am going to represent Safiyah from TheBeautyInsideOut.com, who is a fabulous blogger and running her blog from about a year now successfully. Her blog is about skin & hair care, product reviews, DIYs, fashion & lifestyle. So you will find almost everything on her blog. She is more inclined to using natural skin & hair care products. Sounds awesome huh? I invite you to get to know her more closely hence present glimpse of her thoughts & aspiration below: Safiyah From TheBeautyInsideOut.com Me- When/how/why did you start blogging? Safi- After quitting my full time job in a jiffy ( I remember my mom admonishing me for quitting such a good job) and staying idle for a couple months browsing through the internet all day long, I got this habit of reading a lot of blogs. And one fine day when I was reading an article about starting a beauty blog on a blog that I regularly visit (crueltyfreekitty), I found it interesting and that’s how my blog came into existence. To be exact, TheBeautyInsideOut had its inception on 25th of March 2016. It’s soon going to be a year <3 Me- What/who is your inspiration? Safi- My first inspiration was Suzi from crueltyfreekitty.com. From time to time I get inspired from a few of my fellow bloggers work. Some of their posts are so inspiring that lifts up my mind when I’m so low with my blogging life. Me- How do you get over the blogger’s block? Safi- I stop making deadlines for myself and just take a break, visit my friend’s place, have a chit chat, of course have food and then a new blog idea just pops out of my mind. Weird but that’s how it works for me! Me-What makes you what you are today? Safi- Obviously, My family. Apart from that, my love for reading and exploring new things is what made me what I am today. Me- What was the first milestone in your blogging journey? Safi- Having a handful of lovely true-hearted readers. Yes that’s a milestone for me 🙂 Me- What is your advice to High On Gloss? Safi- Honestly I am not great at giving advice. But I wanted to tell you that I love reading your honest reviews and you have been doing a really great work. Keep doing it in the future too. Some Quickies: Q. When did you start wearing makeup? After completing my graduation. Q. How long do you take to get ready in the morning? Less than 5 minutes. I hardly wear makeup on a daily basis. Q. If you can only use one eye makeup product, what would it be? Earlier it was kajal, lately I have found my liking towards using just an eyeliner. Q. Tinted Moisturizer, BB Cream, or Foundation? BB Cream Q. Cream, Powder, or Liquid Blush? Powder Blush. Creams and liquids don’t work on my oily skin. Q. Do you prefer matte or dewy skin? I like both. Q. Do you prefer matte or shimmer eyeshadows? Matte. Q. Do you prefer matte or shiny lipstick / lipgloss? Lipgloss. I don’t mind re-applications .Matte lipsticks are too drying for my dry lips. Q. What will you buy in 1000 bucks. Organic skincare products that are made in India. Q. What product are you hoping to buy next? I have been eyeing on an organic BB cream from Magic Dust. Hello Girls, I have got something new and exciting for you. I am starting a new series on HOG, a blogger interview series, where I shall be publishing interviews of well renowned and established beauty & lifestyle bloggers so you can get to know them better. You can also ask them your own questions via the comment section. I am sure they would revert back to your queries. I am really excited to start this new series on HOG. I am sure even you would like this. Deepika Verma from MakeupMagique.com has agreed to appear as the very first interviewee on HOG for the interview series. I am really thankful to her. She has always been very sweet to me, always there to help. MakeupMagique.com is a beautiful blog primarily for Nail Art & Product Reviews. She also has a YouTube channel for the same. Interview With Deepika Verma From MakeupMagique.com Q. What made you start blogging? I started off by sharing my love for nail art, all thanks to the constant push and encouragement from my husband. Eventually I started reviewing makeup products and loved the response I received from all my readers. Q. How do you balance home, work & blogging? Home is my first priority, early mornings and weekends are dedicated to home and cooking. Work and Blogging are passion driven…. I blog whenever I find the time, sometimes between work, sometimes while travelling. Q. What/who is your inspiration? My inspiration has always been Ankita from Corallista and Lisa Eldridge. I love their work! Q. How do you get over the blogger’s block? It’s simple, buy a new product 🙂 I always do that! A new product brings along a lot new ideas. Q. What makes you what you are today? Amazing family by my side and my favorite book The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. Q. What proved to be a milestone in your blogging journey? Starting off my YouTube channel was surely a milestone. Q. If a random child asks you for a life changing advice what would you say? If the child is old enough I would suggest him/her to read The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. If not, I would say, Dream Big, magic happens! Some Quickies: When did you start wearing makeup? During college. I loved wearing colored eyeliners. Q.
