My mango obsession is over, so is The Nature’s Co Mango Body Wash. What I have been using right now? It’s my all time favorite shower gel from fiama DI WILLS – Lemongrass & Jojoba. Fiama Di Wills body shower gels are very popular specially during summer. I have used almost every variant from the range and I always come back to this shower gel. Though Palmolive Thermal Spa is equally good in terms of refreshing my senses, but Fiama Di Wills Lemongrass & Jojoba shower gel is an old flame. fiama DI WILLS Lemongrass & Jojoba Shower Gel The shower gel contains skin conditioning and exfoliating agents for a luxurious bathing experience. It gives gentle & effective cleansing for a youthful skin. Price Rs. 199 for 250ml. Buy here at discounted price. Ingredients Packaging The shower gel comes on a transparent bottle with a slight curve at the bottom to ease the grip in wet hands. The bottle has light green colored flip cop at it’s mouth. The bottle contains nice quirky dark green colored labels at the front and back to display all the information about the product. The packaging is not travel friendly. But is leak proof hence can slide inside your gym bag. The shower gel would start lathering. Add few drops of water and indulge in relaxing bathing experience. Fragrance & Texture Oh, the marvelous fragrance. The fragrance part really wakes me up and the fragrance is the reason, I buy it again and again. The fragrance is sweet, citrus-y fresh. It smells very nice and mesmerizing. Though it does not linger on my body after bath for long, but it gives a nice enjoyable experience. A true morning shower gel. The shower gel looks light green in the bottle but it pours as yellowish gel over loofah. A small amount is enough for each bathing experience and forms enough lather. One bottle lasts me about 1.5 months if I use it twice a day. My Experience As I already mentioned, this is my most frequently bought shower gel specially for summer & monsoon season. During winter season, I like to use more moisturizing body wash such as some thing from Dove. It implies that the shower gel is not that moisturizing. Well, it does not dry out my normal skin during hot and sweaty day, but it does not add any extra moisture to my skin. The shower gel feels nice smooth on my skin, and cleans it effectively. Coming to the exfoliating beads, I just don’t feel them on my skin, they are too small or get dissolved after coming in contact with water. Loofah alone can give a nice exfoliation, if you ask me. It’s a nice shower gel for every day citrus-y wake up call. It literally uplifts my mood every morning and laziness bid goodbye. The shower gel is affordable, economical and easily available. The Nature’s Co Mango Creme Body Wash : Review

I love mangoes! Who does not? But eating mangoes does not agree with my skin. It breaks out the very next day if I indulge in my mango tasting session. So this whole season of mangoes, I only smell them, watch other people in the house eating them shamelessly, and teasing me that I should taste at least one slice since it is so damn sweet. When it comes to eating mangoes, I don’t know from where I get this power of resistance and I really manage to find my way out of the dining room. So it’s alright that I can’t eat mangoes, but I can inhale their sweet aroma & also a have a bath with Mango based body wash – the Nature’s Co Creme Body Wash. A body wash literally smells like a fresh and pulpy mango. After rushing from the dining hall, I take myself on an evening bath routine which obviously includes this mango creme body wash. TNC claims that he body wash is rich in vitamins, minerals & anti oxidants and hence leaves skin looking healthy & nourished. Price Rs. 695 for 175ml. Ingredients I was amazed to see that the body wash actually contained mango pulp, and not just the fragrance. The other ingredients are quite natural too. Packaging The body wash comes in a transparent plastic tube depicting of Mangoes. Ripe & sliced mangoes with a Made In India tag on the front. While product information & ingredients list is provided at the back of the tube. Fragrance & Texture It’s no secret that it literally smells of heavenly mangoes. A very sweet aroma fills my nostrils and brings a smile on my lips. The body wash is quite runny in consistency & yellow in color for the obvious reasons. The body wash when poured on wet loofah & rubbed against the body lathers very well. Making my skin smelling of mangoes. My Experience I use it mostly during my evening baths since I like to smell sweet while going to bed. During my morning showers, I use something citrus-y/cool to smell fresh. Since the formula is creamy, runny & lathers well, I do not need much of the product to enjoy my bath. It leaves my skin cleansed of sweat & dirt while smelling sweet. Though the sweet smell does not stay for long. It vanishes away in few minutes after shower. I actually have not found any such body wash which can linger on my skin for long. It does not further dry out my dry skin. I can skip wearing a body lotion afterwords during summer/monsoon. TNC products are costly and so is this body wash. But it lasts very long because I need only a dollop of the product for every bath. So it is economical. It’s been around 2 months, that I have been using it once a day & it’s still half filled. I like to use body washes all year long. Summer calls for refreshing body washes. I have ditched Dove body wash for a while to indulge into new ranges. I have been using 2 body washes from Palmolive – Thermal Spa & Heavenly Vanilla. The two are kind of different in terms of the refreshment & nourishment. Let’s talk about these two body washes today. Palmolive Body Wash Thermal Spa The body wash is enriched with White Clay & Thermal Minerals, so you experience a refreshing shower. The body wash also contains scrubbing particles to leave your skin clean & massaged. Price Rs. 170 for 250ml. Buy here. Ingredients My Experience The body wash comes in a fish shaped transparent light blue colored bottle. The shower bottle has a dark blue flip top cap to dispense the body wash. The shower gel is light blue colored giving a refreshing feeling to eyes. This is a gel based shower gel. A dollop is enough to give nice lather upon wet loofah. It smells refreshingly cool & mildly sweet as clay. The body wash seem to have very minute scrubbing particles too, but they are not much effective than a loofah itself when coming to massaging & scrubbing effect. I quite enjoy this body wash mostly due to it’s refreshing effect & smell. I like to use it during sleepy mornings to get an instant awakening. My skin feels clearer & smoother. I do moisturize my skin thoroughly afterwords, since it is a gel based body wash. Palmolive Body Butter Body Wash Heavenly Vanilla This is a moisturizing body wash. This body wash is newly introduced under the Body Butter range from Palmolive. I have also seen Strawberry version in this range. Palmolive claims to provide rich formula with this body wash so that you can experience a moisturized & supple skin after every shower. Price Rs. 190 for 250ml. Buy here. Ingredients My Experience The packaging does not differ much from the other versions of the body wash. The body wash is packed inside an off white plastic bottle with a purple colored flip top cap at the top. The body wash is cream based as the body wash is from the body butter range. This body wash is supposed to be moisturizing in nature. The body wash lathers well. True to the name of the body wash, it smells heavenly but coconuty-sweet. I admire Dove body washes for their moisturizing effect, but since it was a new range from Palmolive, I thought to test it out too. It is good, creamy almost feels lie Dove body wash texture wise. It leaves skin moisturized, but nothing overpowering. Comparing Dove & this body wash, I feel both have comparable moisturizing effect on the skin. Summary If you like to use refreshing smells in the morning to wake up, go for Palmolive Thermal Spa Body Wash. On the other hand, Palmolive Body Butter Body Wash Heavenly Vanilla is a moisturizing body wash. Both are reasonably priced for the quantity & the quality provided. Using a body wash gives heavenly experience, be it winter or summer. During summer one should use a moisturizing body wash to lock the body moisture in and keeping it soft and supple. During summer one can go for a body wash which helps to add freshness to the day. I am a fan of Dove Body Washes, have many variants from the range. When I got bored of using Dove Exfoliating Body Wash, I got the fresh touch version. It smells like cucumbers mostly but has faint hints of green tea too. Let me tell you how was my experience with the body wash. About Dove Go Fresh Body Wash Fresh Touch Dove is favorite brand of many woman when it comes to bathing experience. Dove bathing bars are famous for their ultra moisturizing effect on skin. Similarly Dove Go Fresh Nourishing Body Wash Fresh Touch comes with NutrimMoisture™ which nourishes the skin deep down making your skin soft and beautiful. The scent of cucumbers & green tea keeps you fresh all day long. The body wash nourishes your skin with a light cooling sensation. Overall you get a cooling & refreshing hydration. The bottle shows graphics of cucumber slices & a green tea leaf surrounded by water drops. It surely gives a refreshing feeling to eyes. At the back of the bottle product details and ingredient list is provided. I have found the packaging to be sturdy and leak proof. Colour, Texture & Smell This is a very light green coloured creamy body wash. The consistency is runny. I need a dollop of the creamy body wash to make enough lather on a loofah and enjoy my shower. It smells mildly of cucumbers. The smell is very nice and refreshing. The smell goes away within few minutes after shower. My Experience I am already impressed with Dove body washes and this variant did not fall short of meeting the expectations. Only a dollop of the body wash on a loofah and it lathers generously. I do not need another drop before I finish my shower. The faint smell of cucumber & green tea takes me to a comforting & relaxing level. My senses are rejuvenated and so is my skin. My skin feels moisturized & smooth. I think that’s all you can expect from a body wash. One should never skip moisturizer even after using a nourishing body wash. The bottle lasts for ages sine I need a very small amount of the product to enjoy my bath. I wish the smell could stay for long since it is so refreshing and soothing. Before using this body wash I thought why would I like to smell like cucumbers. But I have just grown over the smell and now I quite like it since it’s nothing overpowering and is rather mild. Likes Creamy body wash. Lathers well. Smells refreshing. Moisturizes while cleansing. Lasts long. Affordable. Easily available. A lot of variants available. Dislikes The smell goes away pretty soon after shower. Summary: 4.5/5 This variant from the Dove body wash range is definitely a good pick for the upcoming summer. It is a moisturizing body wash which smells nice. Also affordable & economical. I will keep trying on another versions from Dove Body Wash range. Love.

Rinsing the body wash is very easy too. As the body wash leaves the skin, I feel a soft and moisturised skin behind. There is no slippery feeling left behind. I totally detest that slippery feeling after using body and face washes. After the skin is air dry, my skin does not feel dry. Dryness of skin is cured to great extent. But still skin moisturisation is needed. Dry days can be really harsh on skin otherwsie. One should never skip moisturisation during winters, even if you are using a moisturising body wash.
